Went for a pedicure as it's down the street from home...worst pedicure I've ever had! Not only was it extremely rushed (entire process 15-20 min and I was walking home) I give myself better paint & nail art jobs...but the reason I go for a pedi is to get my feet DONE! Srcubbed, smooth, filed & the 5 min foot/leg massage is supposed to be bliss! This was none of the above..literally. I had to ask her to scrape my feet, when I did so she got snippy telling me I don't need it. If I'm going in for a pedicure... It needs it! There was no cuticle /nail cutting, very mild scraping & maybe 2 min scrub of both feet. The leg n foot rub was anything but that. She basically rubbed lotion on me as I do when I jump outta the shower in a rush. I go once a month elsewhere for a pedicure & pay 30 dollers for an amazing job w beautiful nail art, even rhinestones if I ask! Here I payed 33.50 for not even 20 min of the worst pedicure ever! Not to mention, I was the only customer there so there was no need to rush that fast. I don't recommend this place for anyone, even if you're not that picky about it....trust me, you can do a better job yourself at home then. I hope when they close ,(cuz it will happen) the plaza here gets a good little nail spa again! Maybe yiyi can start doing pedi's from her garage then

i had to wait an extra 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The guy who was doing my massage had his cell in the room and it kept going off, and he had left the room 3 times during my session and left the door open while I was on the table. Kinda uncomfortable

Purchased 2, one hour Swedish massages through Groupon. Called day prior and made appointment as you normally would when booking a massage. The lady on the phone was very polite and accommodated my request for a late appointment (515 on a Friday). The massage rooms are basic but clean. The massage was very nice. Exactly what was expected. Definitely will purchase this Groupon again.

I have had massages at many other places but never one as good as Sara’s! She is amazing. Applies good pressure and you always leave feeling so relaxed. I saw Roy for 5 sessions of acupuncture for back pain and he greatly improved an issue I was having for quite a while. Due to the nature of my job I still get pain but it is much more manageable since my sessions with him! They are both very kind and caring and put me at ease. I always look forward to my visits there. They are very accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about this place! I will never go anywhere else for a massage.

If you are looking for THE REFLEXOLOGY EXPERIENCE in Winnipeg, book here. I booked a 1 hour appointment with 1 days notice. No problem. I got there and was lead to the pedicure foot baths, they put a liner on the bath and I soaked my feet for 10 minutes. Afterwards I was lead to a private room with soft music playing. The reflexologist worked on my feet with great pressure, ensuring that the pressure was adequate. As the 1 hour was finishing up, the appointment ended with a back and shoulder massage. This experience was more akin to the ones i've had in Toronto, Vancouver and Beijing. I felt relaxed and reinvigorated after my appointment. I have tried many different reflexology providers in Winnipeg, but none have been worthwhile to post about. This is the one to go to. My reflexologist was trained in China, and if you are looking for a true reflexology experience where you felt you got your money's worth, this would be my recommendation.

My first experience with them was through a groupon. It was probably the best massage here in Winnipeg. I live quite far but because of the quality massage I got from Roy, I came back for another. This time, I paid for a 90-minute therapeutic massage but I got some extra minutes due to the fact that he was really working on my major concerns. He is not rushing unlike other therapist. He doesn't talk much but when he does, it still doesn't hinder the massage. Very professional. I highly recommend you get your massage here as well. Money worth spending for their service. I shall return! Xiexie!

Be careful of this place if you have insurance. They gave me a none RMT massage even after I booked my appointment with an RMT a month in advance. And they made RMT claim to my insurance. I really wanted to support them as they just started out but I stop going because when I sent my complaints and reviews they phone me at most 16 times back to back and left messages. I had to block the business number. Certainly wouldn't go back.

Wish I could give zero stars. They claim they allow walk in, but when I walked in today and asked to use a gift certicicate, the employee laying on the couch asked me if I meant for today. I said yes, she said, oh no today. Come tomorrow. They was no one in the spa. I said I can't tomorrow, I have a baby sitter today. She said, call ahead next time.

The owner asked me on my way out not to write a review if it was bad. So instead, I emailed the spa telling them about my dissatisfaction. They did not reply thus I'm writing something here. The massage was not relaxing as you there were way too many interruptions. The therapist left the room for at least 10 minutes to answer the phone at the desk. Also his cell phone was not muted... Therefore he had many alerts... And he even answered the phone once during my massage. The massage did not last the full hour due to the interruptions. But I do want to add.. the massage itself wasn't bad.... Had good pressure. But all these interruptions made the experience unpleasant

Wish I could give zero stars!! Went in for a relaxation massage and was treated to the most painful experience of my life (hurt more now than before). I have scratches all over from her nails. At least the "relaxing" country music station she had playing in the room drowned out the sound of the screaming baby (belonged to an employee). Worst experience and will not recommend this place to anyone.

I am beyond happy with my experience at Yi Yi spa on December 1st, 2020. I have asked many other therapists to address my nagging neck pain, but to no avail. The pain was so bad I could no longer sleep. I FINALLY decided to try Yi Yi spa, and Sarah is aaaaamazing, I am telling you! She gave me the most relaxing massage with the perfect pressure. She has an amazing technique that also cured my neck pain. A week later I am still pain free. It feels like a small miracle. I loved my massage, I felt completely comfortable and relaxed the entire time, and I am eager to return. By far the best massage experience of my life. I am grateful, thank you!

I had my first Reflexology session today at Yi Yi Spa and it was great. It’s a nice local Mom & Pop establishment with a very friendly and easy atmosphere. I was attended to by Roy the owner, who is a very nice gentleman and easy to talk to. He seemed to have a very good knowledge of Reflexology and worked hard at making sure my feet where feeling good by the end of the session. I will definitely be back to try some of the other services offered.

Absolutely the best massage from Roy. I’ve suffered from migraines for years, Roy has (multiple times) given me massages as well as acupuncture to relieve pain. I recommend Yi Yi to anyone that has any issues from everyday pains, to something that may be more severe, to check them out. As well as being experienced, they are very friendly and always willing to do whatever it takes to “take your pains” away. Highly recommend
