Overall the salon appeared clean, I was greeted right away. I arrived 5 min prior to my appt time, but was kept waiting for about 15min past. The tech Courtney, did not apologise for keeping me waiting. Not always an issue, but I was on a tight timeline preparing to leave town. I was told 1hr, ended up being there just over 2hrs. She began with my pedicure and as most clients do, I was using my phone. She brought my feet out and began cutting without asking how long I like my nails. I was upset with this as I have always been consulted at many salons. She then proceeded to suggest I was responsible and should have stated this before we started. The result is far too short toenails for my liking, additionally they are uneven. It's been a few days since the service, and so far products used seem to be holding up well. However I am very unhappy with the customer service. She offered zero compensation and was not apologetic whatsoever. I paid an extra $10 for a nail repair on a toe and finger, she easily could have waived that for the error, said sorry, and recouped some bad feelings.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this Salon. I have been going to Transcona Salon for almost id say a year or so - i was hospitalized in the summer of 2018 and was extremely ill with that i lost 80% of my hair i lost all of my self confidence and was grasping at straws to see what i could do. Kerry and Conny have hearts of gold and listened to me and my concerns and sent me to Maija. Maija is a living angel and is BEYOND talented when it comes to ANYTHING hair, she has been with me through my whole hair journey from helping me blend my hair piece to keeping my hair in a healthy state so it could grow. Everyone at Transcona Salon is the best of the best from Kim at the front desk who is a absolute sweetheart and will always do her very best to accommodate the best she can. I could go on and on about the amazingly talented staff but i give anyone my word that this is the salon in Winnipeg to go to!

Fantastic!!! I went with my daughter to have her hair cut and coloured as she is going back to work after being on maternity leave.The staff are friendly and welcoming. Her stylist Laura did an amazing job. The transformation was incredible. My daughter left feeling and looking absolutely beautiful and confident. Just what she needed. We will definitely be back.
