Highly recommend to avoid going to the place! First, disappointment there is no notice that you can only pay cash. (21st century....or the business avoiding paying taxes...ok it's a different story). Second, the person who was doing my hands was constantly coughing which made me really uncomfortable even though she was wearing a mask as I have a little baby at home. Third, it is extremely disrespectful that during the process both individuals kept talking their language in front of me. Just an unpleasant experience. Won't even discuss that the tools were not in the steril pouches as it is supposed to be. Nails are done ok overall that's why I give one star rating.

I can’t stop looking at my new acrylic nails and they were also a great price for the quality. The staff were very kind and understanding and gave me exactly what I wanted! First of all they didn’t told me that they take cash and don’t accept card payments. Next, they told me my nails will charge me 70 bucks whereas afterwards they took 100 bucks. It was weekend and their closing time maybe that’s why I don’t know. And when I went back for nail removal they didn’t even used acetone. They just used tools and that’s it my nails were so rough and they tried to get the nails removed with just a pastic nail or nail cutter. That was totally unacceptable. I hate my visit there. They are expensive and service is not good

Went for a shellac colour change. Major nail damage, my natural nail was filed down to barely anything left and now nails are weak, bending and ripping. Within the same visit, she got the colours per nail wrong and did not finish the nail with a matte that I had asked for. My friend loves this place, I've never had a fantastic experience.

First time ever getting gels done and decided to try out Nails4YouWpg, as my friends told me this was a great place, best decision ever! I was early and they allowed me to come in right away, no waiting! My gels lasted a long time and they did exactly what I wanted just off a picture I showed. Didn’t mind the wait to get my nails done as they were very busy. A 35 minute wait is fine. Ended up with someone who was very sick and wore 3 masks. She rubbed her face before she put her masks back on then presided to do my nails. Talked to me for all of three minutes the whole 70 minutes I was there.was very ruff handing my hands. And rushed doing my nails. Didn’t fix my cuticles or even spend much time on my actual nails. Honestly a very rude experience At the end instead of rubbing in lotion to your hand like they normally do and as I saw other around me who got there nails done she just squeezed it into my hand and said rub them together and pushed my hand together while everyone else I had seen getting them done got the lotion massages into there skin. My friend told me to try this place because it was good but honestly I have such a horrible experience will not be going back. Nails turned out nice but the hurt after as well. Talked to management on the phone to which I was called a liar and told the lady wasn’t sick like it not visable that someone is sick when there nose is red and running and they are coughing. As per the lotion massage my friend whom referred me to this place gets the same service I get where the lotion is always massages into her skin. A simple I’m sorry you had a bad experience was all I wanted but was exactly the opposite of what I got. She talked (yelled) at me for about three minutes until saying we’re busy I’m gunna cut the call. Extremely rude would not recommend ever going there!!!

Gave my daughter horrible service. Tried to rush her out just to take on more clients. Then charged an extra $22 for 2 extra colors without telling us about it first. Then the owner yelled at us in front of all other customers when we asked about the extra charge. Will never go back.

I went in and got myself my first acrylic set of nails in months because of this lockdown, now not only did they get us in the first few days of reopening; they were also way ahead of schedule, we were treated like queens; I’ve never had more than 1 person working on my nails before but I had the total of 8 women and a gentleman helping finding and figuring things out. It was such a blessed experience and I can’t wait to go back for my fill! Being from Winkler the hour and a half drive is more than worth it.

Great price but instead of telling people that they are full and to maybe come back they start on your nails and then you sit waiting for 45 min (now you can't leave cause your nails are partially done) when someone finally does start again, the job is rushed, nail shape is bad and then you sit once again for another 20 minutes waiting to get the polish. 4 people and 1hr 45 min later you are finally done.... And they still look like you need a fill and another paint job!! 3rd time experiencing this here and I'm done!

I got my nails done here for the first time two weeks ago. They were beautiful at first, but my nails already started peeling after just a few days, not even a week. My first one just broke today because of it peeling. They must water down their products. I have a friend in beauty school, they’ve done nails a lot and she said they should not be doing that, and they didn’t use enough product. I’ve gotten my nails done more than 25 times at other salons and this has never happened. I’m disappointed because I payed $75 for my nails AND I left a $25 tip. If I’m paying that much for nails I expect the quality to be top tier. They gave me a $5 coupon after my appointment but I will not be returning and I will also tell my friends not to go there. I’ve also had so many friends say Nails 4 You sucks, I should have listened. I never leave bad reviews but this just sucks.

I've come here a few times and it was good at first, but its progressively gotten worse (sloppy paint job, nail art peeling off, etc.) Today I asked for an ombre and I didnt like how it turned out so I asked if they could just repaint it black. The owner got mad at me and said it was my fault I didn't stop the lady from doing my nails. I tried to explain that she built up the ombre on all my nails so it would have been impossible to see the final product before it was done, especially because she didnt start with just one nail, she did all of them. The "ombre" just looks messy and spotty with air bubbles in the top coat. The lady was apologetic but the owner was just plain rude and impatient, telling me I would have to pay more on top of the $80 they already charged me to get them fixed. I wont be coming back. Theres a better nail place in St. Vital I plan on checking out who will hopefully do a better job with more polite staff.

very clean and very organized, the ladies there were very friendly and helped me find almost the exactly replica of the photos i brought in. they didn't have some of the more complicated things, but i had a backup in case... not a lot of places do the design i wanted anyway.. but i came out of there very happy with the result. the girl who worked with me was very polite and patient with me, she constantly asked if i liked it and if i hesitated as if i didn't like it she made me feel comfortable enough to ask her to change it and she did no problem no fuss about it! great service! definitely going back!! and the prices are way better then other places when i'm getting better for cheaper!! it's amazing!! definitely recommending to other from now on!

I have been a long time customer and I was deeply un impressed that I am never coming back and don’t recommend any one too. Very rude customer service, my nails weren’t all the same length and sides were crooked and a few were bumpy and uneven, their prices jumped for a fill because my nails were long when I have gotten longer fill and been charged less here. And rude when I went back and wanted them to fix it, they speak a different language and it feels like they are talking negatively about you when you ask for something to be fixed.

First of all I made an appointment and had to wait in my car 40 minutes. I was disappointed that my pedicure was faster than my long wait. Rushed. My feet were in water for 15 seconds before two girls worked on my dry feet because they didn't even soften yet. I'm 50 years old. I need them to soak. I asked if I would get a discount for the wait and then the rush. The answer was no. Bad customer service. It was not the relaxing "first time back after covid" experience I was going for. I asked for acrylic nails ($40) and at the end she tried to tell me my total was $50 because she put on shellac ($5) which I didn't ask for, and the polish I chose was magnetic ($5) but she didn't tell me that. Not to mention that one of the ladies doing my nails ((because they switched theee times)) really hurt my finger with the gel it stung for awhile.

Even if you do not care for nail art, she was meticulous with filling and shaping my nails. My nails would have been beautiful with plain polish. Staff were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. They did an excellent job and even had two people working on my nails at once to assure that it was a quick experience as I did ask for a more intricate design. The nails were a bit pricy but again, i did ask for a more intricate design, nails that are more basic don’t cost as much. They checked before doing my nails that I was okay with the price which i personally liked so the price didn’t come as a surprise. They are also very clean and following covid guidelines. I’ve been here multiple times, and will definitely be going again in the future. I’ve been to other nail salons in winnipeg before and this salon is my favourite. I haven’t had any problems with nails popping off or breaking. They do only accept cash but they have an ATM in the salon. I have a great experience every time, and i would recommend this nail salon

I got my nails done for my 15th birthday they were ombre with accessories it only costed $60 before tax I came back a year and a half later to get the same exact nails just different colours and they tried charging me $100?¿??¿ I also heard from other women that they tried overcharging them great place to get scammed I guess

I have not been to a nail salon in about ten years due to rude staff and no communication between the tech and myself. i came here hesitant as a walk in two days before my wedding . i am a mom so i dont generally have time for some self care for myself . but the ladies that helped me were beyond amazing and so nice!!!!! i have never felt so welcome and not judged at a nail salon ever in even the years i got them done ten years prior. i will definitely be going back and i have been telling people how nice the staff was. i only got a basic mani and pedi but wow . yes will be going back!!

I am very upset, I have been going here for a couple years. Until today, I will never return. I had an appointment at 12 for my friend and I to get our nails done. We waited 45 minutes without anyone telling us that we would have to wait, after that they put the tips on and we had to wait with the tips on, not trimmed or anything for 25 minutes. We had also noticed that 3 people had walked in and were taken care of instantly. I also noticed that nothing was sanitized before being used on my nails, for example the nail clipper and nail files were used and dirty, compared to other times - they looked clean. The lady also burned my nails with the gel along the skin in the lamp and kept filing my skin when I said it hurt. I told them I wasn’t paying full price for this service and they proceeded to yell at me in front of everyone in the shop. There were 2 workers yelling at me saying if there was something wrong with the nails, they’d give me a discount but since I was just waiting they wouldn’t because that isn’t part of the service.... Well, it’s customer service and they don’t have ANY OF IT. They do a decent job on the nails but if you want to be treated like a human being, this is not the place for you. I will NEVER return here EVER again.

i usually visit Nails4U about 2-3 times. i’ll get my birthday nails, summer/vacation nails and holiday nails done there each year. however each time i do, they do an amazing job! they really take care of you and take their time with you and most importantly your nails. there was a time i wasn’t aware of the closing time and i went there roughly 30mins till close and i was there 30 past close and my nail tech didn’t mind one bit, which is so kind. thought she was working all day and was probably tired, she stayed. took her time to finish my nails and they were beautiful. i always find they’re very creative with designs and they do designs i don’t see at other places. all you have to do is show a picture of what you want and they got you! i definitely recommend this place to everyone

It's super good quality and customer service but very expensive. A simple design will cost you $100 easily. If you want anything more detailed your about to break the bank just for a 2 week nail design. Even a fill with just a color costed me 60-70 bucks a fill should be cheaper. I hate leaving bad reviews but I just had the worst pedicure I’ve ever. The girl beside me got a 10 minute massage and I asked for a hot stone massage ( and paid more) and it lasted not even two minutes. She didn’t pumice my feet. The other girls were. I asked her which one she paid for an she said just a regular one. Everyone should have consistent service . But apparently if you ask for Mary she’s the good one. I would not recommend this place. My sister Dana introduced me to Nails 4 U. They were one of the first Esthetic Services to open in the area and though they only take cash; their pedi's ( esp. the scrub plus stone) are wonderful. The reason I keep going back is the price (40 for mani/pedi and they often have specisls). The location is in my general area. The staff are women that have worked there for a long time and newer faces. They will often converse in another language which can bother some people.....but regardless they do their best to fit you in if you have no appointment and are patient and nice. I recommend them. I went for my 1st pedicure and it was okay Nothing special nothing horrible. Nice enough salon, staff was friendly and did a fine job, but nothing was so amazing that would make me go back. Make sure you bring cash because that is the only form of payment they accept so I had to used a atm in their salon which I didn't like because it charges me $1.25 to use it and then my bank charges me a fee as well. I had a horrible experience getting eyelash extensions! I went there and big mistake she didn’t even brush my lashes once nor did she separate them while glueing the lashes to my natural lashes! I ended up having to get them removed 20 minuets after and it took over an hour to remove them! Later on I went to hospital because the pain was unreal and I had chunks of glue in my eyes! When I went back to the salon, they wouldn’t even give me half my money back! Lashes aren’t cheap and eyes aren’t something you should mess around with and you pay the price for good quality lashes and to have someone who is certified and knows what they are doing but unfortunately I didn’t get that!

The nail technician did a good job, however the customer service was atrocious. I made an appointment there for the first time to go get my nails done with a client. We showed up and noticed immediately that not a single COVID regulation was being followed. A sign on the door said maximum 12 people inside, but there were more nail technicians inside alone than that. They asked if I had a picture of what I wanted done, and the lady ripped the phone out of my hand and then passed it to some other girl who disappeared into the back area with it, without my consent. 5 minutes into the service the lady tells me that they only except cash, and that there is an ATM next door that is available to be used. I don't carry enough cash to cover it, nor did I have my debit card with me. I was pressured into sending some unidentified male at the business an etransfer for the service. It took approximately 20 minutes for the etransfer to go through, and during that time I was harassed multiple times and directed to use my visa to take out a cash advance using an ATM in the corner of the salon to pay for the service multiple times, despite showing them confirmation that the etransfer had gone through on my end. They had not even finished my companion's nails at that time, and we were far from being ready to leave. When I asked why I wasn't informed that it's cash only when I made the appointment, or prior to them starting the service, I was disrespected and told that they've been there for 18 years and that their cash only policy is common knowledge. Had I known that this was their policy, I would have been prepared with more cash or found somewhere else to go that accepts alternative methods of payment. Will not be returning.

I had an appointment to get my nails done with my friend here today. We both had an appointment booked for a full set of gel nails with designs. Right when we walked in there were 30+ people in this small nail salon, meaning that were was no social distancing whatsoever, and the provincial capacity limits were not being followed. Next, once we showed them our designs they told my friend it would be 100$ for a simple two colour line design, and they told me 155$ for my design which was way too expensive. I knew my design was a bit more intricate so I was expecting around 110$, not 155$. After they told us the prices I said that it was way too expensive and I wanted to leave to go somewhere else. Then, about 4 other employees including the receptionist that worked there came over and started explaining that "you get what you pay for" and started making references saying "its a mercedes vs a ford". I was trying to explain that I had been to other salons and gotten similar things done for much cheaper, but he kept interrupting me and wouldn't let me speak. My friend and I decided to stay and pick other designs and while we were doing so there was a lady beside us telling us we needed to hurry up. Finally when we decided, she tells us they only accept cash, and that if we don't have any we'll need to go to the ATM beside their salon to get some. At this point I was feeling extremely uncomfortable because there was about 7 employees crowding around my friend and I, and the nail technicians were trying to grab our hands to get started as quickly as they possibly could. Another thing to mention is that when they asked to see our designs they grabbed our phones out of our hands and passed them around the salon without even asking us if it was okay. All of this happened within ten minutes of being in the salon, and we ended up leaving because we were both on the verge of a panic attack because of how uncomfortable they made us feel. This was my first and last time going here, hands down the worst experience I've had in a nail salon.

They do a good job, I've been there many times and I have never complained about my nails. HOWEVER, they are very sneaky with prices and like to overcharge. It is best to clarify the final cost of your service before you get started, as they like to charge $10 and up for designs and adding things like jewels. The best advice I can give you is make sure you know what you want and show pictures of exactly what you want, to be able to set a final price before you begin. I have never had the problem of being overcharged because I always make sure that I set a Final price. And always bring cash! They do not take card.

I do not usually write reviews also I went here today with my friend and was very dissapointed with the service I was provided. My nail tech seemed very rushed, and was quite aggressive when dealing with my nails/hands. She would push my hands around instead of asking, file quite aggressively etc. So much that she actually cut two of my fingers with the file. She continued doing my nails without cleaning up the blood, and now I can see the blood through my nail, and it does not look appealing. She half-heartedly apologized while I was paying. My set cost 75$, pretty pricey to begin with, but I was even more upset paying that amount considering the rudeness I felt while being taken care of and the fact that two of my fingers were cut in the process. No reconciliation was offered other than 5$ off my payment, which I don't think was adequate enough given the circumstances. I was not expecting to be this disappointed given that this salon is supposedly an award winning business. Will not be returning..

Got done an acrylic set here for my birthday and the service was more than what I expected, the lady was very sweet and welcoming also gave me special treatment because it was my birthday! I came in with a reference photo of what I wanted and she was quick to perfectly match my colours and also included free glitter! Update review: went back for an appointment on Saturday and was very satisfied with the service and measures in place. In love with my nails and cant wait to go back in a month or so Have been here a few times and have only great things to say. They acrylic nail quality is outstanding and they do their best to get you in in a timely manner, first time I went was right before Christmas 2019 and it was packed by they got myself and my mother in law in as fast as they could and we both loved the outcome. I went back recently after they reopened from the covid lockdowns and I couldn't have been happier with my nails. The sanitation was on point and all the employees did their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I cannot wait to go back in the near future

This is a very poorly run place. If it wasn't right beside me I would never go back. They have a cash only policy that is not disclosed and they removed the small sign stating this after I complained.that it should be visible and on the front door,it was not visible until you are already soaking your feet. They insisted on holding my cel phone hostage while I was directed to go to the bank around the corner , where I had to pay 3$ for a service fee. They constantly try to upsell customers and I have witnessed more than one fight with angry clients who were not aware of the cash only policy and/or that they had been charged for things they were not aware they had agreed to. This happens because their English is so poor and communication is difficult. I complained about my phone being taken ,to the BBB and was then directed to the privacy section of CRTC but neither could help me. They have massage chairs and the girls are nice but with the horrible heat and humidity and angry customers, it's hardly a relaxing experience ! Cheap prices but is it worth it? You can have a much nicer experience at Nails 3000 for only 2$ more. I also find the practice of carrying on conversations with their co-workers in another language rampant in all Vietnamese run salons. At what other job would this be tolerated.?They are using sharp tools and I want their attention on me, not gossiping.

I’ve been to many nail places in Winnipeg and this was by far the worst. The staff is rude and talk about you when they think you don’t understand. I went to give them one last opportunity yesterday and they sat me in a chair, took off my shellac and made me wait there for 45 mins before I got someone to work on my nails. Feedback for you guys- everyone is busy, so if you don’t have time, tell your customers to come back or how long the wait is instead of putting them in a situation where they have to stay. I went to go get my nails done here and it was the first time I ever got my nails down at all. So I went in and got it done and the lady doing my nails made them look like the picture I had showed her. It was wonderful, but after awhile my fingers were hurting a bit. I thought it was normal since I had just got them done. Each day the pain got worse and I had asked the lady who was doing my nails " how long do they last for? its my first time" She said I could have them up to a month or longer if I took good care of them. I had them on for 2 and a half weeks and those 2.5 weeks were crazy painful. I couldnt even touch some of my nails without wanting to cry. I was so scared to take them off because I felt like if I did my nails would come off with it. So I finally got the nails off and when they came off I cried because it was extremely painful. I have 2 huge dents on 2 of my nails and now my nails are completely damaged. They're too weak and too painful to get filed down ( one of them is so damaged that the flesh underneath the nail is showing). I dont know if my nails will look the same again. And it wasnt my fault because the rest of my nails do not have dents or anything but the nails that were hurting from the beginning do .

I didn't like ANYTHING about this place. They did a gel fill and didn't file all the previous color out properly so now they have geled my nails with color under it. They also didn't file the sides well enough and now there's a ridge which I NEVER had at my other place. And lastly. ......I payed for Shellac and not 24 hours later the top clear coat has peeled in a spot. This should have never happened with Shellac! So pissed about wasting 40 bucks. 2 thumbs down.

I thought okay everyone once their nails done..Well everyone was squeezed in ( pandemic people). Well the pedicure was the worst I ever had. Not only are their nails a good value for what you are getting and are beautiful, awhile ago I literally fainted in this nail salon and the employees were so helpful, they were trying to revive me, they got me water and called an ambulance for me. When I came back the next day, they didn't charge me any extra despite a bunch of my unfinished nails breaking at the hospital!! i usually visit Nails4U about 2-3 times. i’ll get my birthday nails, summer/vacation nails and holiday nails done there each year. however each time i do, they do an amazing job! they really take care of you and take their time with you and most importantly your nails. there was a time i wasn’t aware of the closing time and i went there roughly 30mins till close and i was there 30 past close and my nail tech didn’t mind one bit, which is so kind. thought she was working all day and was probably tired, she stayed. took her time to finish my nails and they were beautiful. i always find they’re very creative with designs and they do designs i don’t see at other places. all you have to do is show a picture of what you want and they got you! i definitely recommend this place to everyone

I usually have very good experiences with Nails 4 u - but this time wasn't the best. I got my nails done for an upcoming business trip, I went in asking for square multiple times and was disappointed with the coffin shape I got. To make up for it as I didn't have all evening to redo my nail shape, I picked out a design I liked, before we started - and at the end I was told it was no longer possible because we already did the dip powder and I should have chosen earlier - which I did. They are beautiful nails don't get me wrong, just not at all what I wanted. I don't see myself returning any time soon.

Ive beem going there for many years and ive always been very happy till now. The last few times the work is not up to there usual standards. Ive come home with nails that are all bumpy and lumpy because of how they applied the polish. I even ended up with an infection on my finger in january that i was on medication for 10 days for it. I would deffenitly not recomend this salon to anyone. Because if you voice your complaintes they just tell you to go someplace else. No one is perfect but that is so rude. Service was okay, ladies were very friendly. I went for a mani pedi and the price was only $35, which was a pretty good deal. They did an okay job. It's been a week and my nails still look like new, but the woman who did my pedicure got a little enthusiastic with the cuticle trimmer and cut me so I bled. It is cash only, but there isn't a sign telling you that. So they tell you to go to the TD bank just around the corner, which charges you $3.50 to take out cash if you aren't a TD customer. It would have been nice to know I needed cash before I went in. I probably wouldn't go again.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very unsanity and the ladies that work there are stuck up and talk about you rudely. I went there last week for a set of gel nails: they told me $40, and then when I was paying they said $55. I had nothing special done, just gel with shellac. The owner also owns Aloha nails which is even worse than this place so I’ve decided to make sure everyone I know stays clear of all these places. Bad nails, bad service and disgusting sanitizarion.

I have been too about 8 nail salons in the city. Nails4You was definitely my best experience and will be the place i continue to get waxed and have my nails done at! It was my first time exactly two weeks ago today and ill be back in a few days. The nails look as good as the day i got them done. The staff were incredible and SO polite. I highly recommend this salon. Not to mention the shape was PERFECT and so were the designs. The BEST.

Nail work was good... covid rules disregarded.. sitting customer beside each other not 1foot in-between customers and staff(shoulder on shoulder customers.)and why has no body mentioned that that it is CASH ONLY?! What's up with this? No receipt either... cheating the system.. illegal I think ???? Also, price got jacked by the time they were done.. not at all what they said it would cost.. never changed what we asked for.?!

Shellac kept chipping and peeling. Went in to get repair on one nail ended up peeling off again next day. To be charged $80 for a fill and this to happen is really awful. Will never go there again. Found another place Ruby nails that are awesome and much cheaper

Terrible service!! They do not speak English, when I asked to fix a nail she started telling me it was my fault the polish did not look good. My feet physically hurt after the pedicure! Never ever will I go here again, the place is also unsanitary and mu fingers are crossed I don't get any foot fungus!

I came in with an inspiration idea from Pinterest. I showed the girls what I wanted and Kim made it happen. I am in love with how they turned out. I got shellac gel nails filled, and a design with little stones on them. I got an amazing price and she did an incredible job. Best nail salon I’ve been to in Winnipeg yet. 5-stars from me! ????
