Mirror Mirror salon did hair and makeup for my bridal party. I am not usually one to write reviews but these guys did such an amazing job I had to leave one. There were 8 ladies all getting hair and makeup done and not only did Mirror Mirror have us all finished earlier than scheduled, they did an outstanding job and all my girls were so happy with both their hair and makeup. They were so organized and the staff are just all so talented. If you are looking for a one stop shop for both hair and makeup, these are your girls! Super impressed

Kelcey is the absolute best stylist anywhere. I am currently living in NJ, and have lived all over the USA, never have I found a stylist who not only listens but hears what you are saying. Her professional judgement, skills, and caring personality are a breath of fresh air. I had literally waited 6 months and traveled up here to have Kelcey style my hair. Feeling beautified! I found the salon clean, bright and stylish. From the moment you walk in you will feel welcome. I had the pleasure of returning a few days later for a facial with Lindsay. I found her to be extremely professional, knowledgeable and wonderfully pleasant. My face has never felt so baby soft, my skin was glowing. I honestly wished I lived closer so I could become a regular Client! I highly recommend Mirror Mirror!

Wonderful Salon! Super friendly staff. Have tried many of the services and never been disappointed ????. Had so many compliments on my spray tan - beautiful colour. (Was able to start my trip in Mexico with a nice glow). So happy with the BB Glow treatment results. My age spots ( old sun damage) are significantly reduced and my whole complexion is brighter. And I can’t say enough about Kayla the junior nail tech! I’ve had mani & pedis from her, including shellac polish and gel. Such a pleasure every time I visit ????????

After a terrible experience with a blonde “expert” I booked in with Realeen to see if she could fix the mess. She absolutely fixed it, amd the final result was better than expected! I also just completed a course of B.B. glow treatments! I’m MIND BLOWN with my skin! I don’t use foundation AT ALL anymore. Love you ladies????

Try to book in a couple times the first few times I just never got called back. I have three kids and a busy life trying to get my hair done is not the easiest challenge to conquer I rearranged my whole day to walk in and they just told me that the girl that was going to do my hair went home sick suddenly. They say I'm going to have a bunch of messages on my answering machine I have my cell phone with me all day everyday not too sure how I don't have messages. Extremely dissatisfied with the service I cannot speak for The stylist they are probably amazing but the service at the front desk is absolutely horrible

I usually don’t write reviews. However I just love this place so much that I have to!! I started 6 months ago getting my hair done. They completely fixed my blond hair that has been previously ruined by 2 other salons. I now get my hair, nails and lashes done, and once in a while I spoil myself with a facial and all the services surpassed my expectations. All the girls there are super friendly and warm and I feel super spoiled every time I go there. To put the cherry on top I was pleasantly surprised that the price point was very reasonable. I will never leave this salon and I have found my forever beauty spot. You girls rock!!!

I booked my appointment, even got the reminder on my phone but when I got there they didn't have me down, whats up with that? The staff person on the front desk made me feel like I didn't know what salon I booked at, this was three days before Christmas, booked in for highlights and cut. Very disappointed, used to go there till my stylist left, but decided to give them another try with someone new, but now will never go back and will not even refer them to anyone. They were not helpful or pleasant.

Called to book an appointment because I LOVED all the reviews I read. However apon calling I discovered they either want your credit card # over the phone or $50 down just to book an appointment.They also charge FULL price for cancelled appointments without a 24hour notice!? I get they've had cancellations and no shows. But there has be a better way, then asking for what I feel is personal information. You should NEVER give your credit card number to ANYONE over the phone! In the long run they're just going loose potential customers,and give their business a bad name. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED ????????????

These girls are amazing! I’ve been getting my nails lashes and hair done here for over a year. Always done to perfection????. I booked in for a massage and when I got there I was telling the ladies that it was my “break up pampering”. They upgraded me to a 90 min free of charge! I had to write this, you girls are the BEST????

I started seeing Jess a few months ago, and every time she amazes me with her skill. Not only am I left with beautiful hair, but I come away with a lot of knowledge about my hair and the products that I need to keep it the way she makes it. The staff are also extremely warm and friendly and I am always greeted by the two front desk girls who offer you beverages and friendly conversations. Would recommend to anyone!

OH MY BB GLOW! who knew that a service like this existed in this city! I was hesitant that results would not be as good as they show online. I have now had 3 treatments, 10 days apart and my skin looks like I am always wearing a nice natural foundation and it feels so hydrated and plump. I am exited to keep up on this treatment on a yearly basis. Thank you to Karmen at Mirror Mirror who performed this wonderful treatment on my skin I am beyond happy!

It’s been a few years since I’ve been to mirror mirror. After seeing how amazing my coworkers nails and lashes are, I had to check it out. I was not disappointed! I had nails lashes and a spray tan done. First off, my spray tan is hands down the best colour I’ve ever had! My nail experience was the same and the lash tech did a phenomenal job. I’ve previously had lashes that left me with next to nothing left when they came off. She thoroughly explained all the ins and outs of keeping my natural lashes in good health. She refused to do them as long as I was requesting, but I’m very happy she did. This place is definitely one that I will be recommending. Thank you ladies so much, I feel like a million bucks!

After a hair disaster, @hairbykayc did an amazing job on my long blonde hair. I wanted to brighten it, with fine foils, and get it back to ashy. She did exactly what I wanted. She used olaplex and the price was amazing. I've recommended her to my sisters and friends, but everyone asks anyway, so don't wait to book :) Thank you, Kayla!

Life with the Bests

I paid almost 200 dollars when she told me it would be 95 (she never said starting at 95). I wanted a blonde balayage! Walked out almost 6 hours later with my hair about 4 shades of yellow. Asked me if I liked it I said no but told me to give it a couple weeks to "get used to it". She knew I was unhappy about as i left the salon in tears yet none of the staff there seemed to care at all! When I got in touch with them after I had calmed down and asked for a refund so I could go somewhere else to get my hair fixed I was told it didnt fit the criteria for a refund. Instead they wanted me to go back so either the girl who messed up my hair or someone else could "fix it". Why would i want to go back somewhere when they didnt care at all about their clients feelings when I was there the first time! I very rarely go and do anything for myself as I have a full time job and 2 young kids and this could not have been a more disappointing experience! I also want to add that another stylist had to tell the girl doing my hair that she needs to weigh her lightener not just eyeball it!

Last summer while in Nakusp, I visited the spa at Halcyon Hot Springs. The facial I had was not enjoyable or relaxing AT ALL. I chalked it up to just not enjoying this type of spa service as much as I enjoy all the other stuff I get...... until I had a facial at Mirror Mirror by Irena. A-freakin-mazing; and I am a believer in facials again!!!!! Everything from Irena's gentle and kind personality to her touch, to the products used, to the extractions performed - both the method for this facial and Irena herself did an amazing job. Worth every penny. I will return AND send everyone I know. Also for those of you who are worried.... I have not had a breakout post-facial.
