I have probably had hundreds of massages at this point and I would say this is one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. The place is clean and bright and the owner is very friendly. The massage room has dim lighting and they turn on LED candles. Lavender oil is used somewhere on the head of the massage table so you get a nice aroma therapy as soon as your head goes onto the table. Warm towel to start on the feet. Excellent communication throughout making sure to ask if she is going hard or soft enough. I only had time for a 30 minute session but it felt better than most 1 hour massages I've had. She even used hot stones near the end and took the time to wipe the oil using a warm towel. I'll for sure be coming back.

La Bella Spa is a very clean and organized space. I enjoyed the customer care and attention to detail that I was given. It was relaxing to get my manicure done there. If you are especially looking a place where you are not overwhelmed by the chemicals, this is an awesome place for that. The products used were as close to natural as possible and so as a customer your not inhaling seriously harmful chemicals. The spa is located at a very convenient area, downtown Kelowna and its also wheelchair accessible as far as I can tell. Bella takes great care to make sure that her clients are happy when the service done. Take a look at her wonderful work in the picture :)

Bella's spa salon is spotless and extremely clean, and she takes amazing care of her customers all the way from offering a hot drink, playing soothing music in the background and giving you conversation without overwhelming you either. I loved my manicure and the fact that all the high quality products she uses are odorless and more natural (no chemical odors and gentle on the nails)! I have never been to a salon with bail products that are high quality and don't harm your nails. Her menu prices are very, very reasonable for Kelowna and she is very knowledgeable of the products,u services and techniques. I will definitely be coming back for another manicure that doesn't wreck my nails but still looks amazing, and I will be sure to recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Kelowna!

Test Test

I had an appointment at 12:45 (I got there at 12:30 and we immediately started, by 12:39pm I was seated - see photo with timestamp). She seemed nice enough and made sure the tools were clean. I think this was the only silver lining in this tragic story. I want to preface that I would have rated 1 star but due to the cleanliness she got two. Cleanliness should be a give in though. First off, this was the absolute longest service I have EVER recieved for a manicure and pedicure. There was only one technician. I got in at 12:30 p.m. and left after 3:30 p.m. there was no one else in the spa. One man came around 2:45 p.m., was told he could get a massage and pedicure by 3. Once 3 rolled around she barely was done taking shellac off one of my hands. We still had my whole right hand left. The man left at 3:20 once he realized he wouldn't be getting his service. I have no idea where this woman got her esthetician license because her technique was all over the place. She used the electric filing drill on my soak off polish instead of using the large grit manual file, had them sit in tinfoil with acetone pads, attempted to scrape the polish off and when that didn't work she went at my nails in all directions with the large grit file. Then she attempted to use the filing drill on my cuticles. After that she added cuticle oil and used the cuticle pusher, trimmed them and filed/buffed my nails which she was mainly filing my skin. She grinded my skin with the electric file drill three times before I asked her politely to just use the cuticle pusher. During this she asked me how much I pay back home in Ottawa and I told her $40 with removal. Which is true. By 3:30 p.m. we were done, or so I thought...When she started punching in how much everything cost (shellac mani and pedi with removal) she said it was $100, $105 with tax! I was shocked ESPECIALLY that she 1. caused me pain 2. Barely got the dead skin off my feet (my big toe still has dry skin - sorry for the gross photo) 3. It took 3 hours! Usually this can be done in 1.5 hours. I had to ask her to detach my skin from the gel on the nail because it was stuck. She clipped it with cuticle cutters... I will never recommend this place. I came here based on a Google review, it was supposed to be "Áme Beauty" but it seems with the recent name change I was extremely misguided and disappointed. The previous 5 star reviewed spa is closed and this one popped up instead. I will be frank, I didn't tip at all. In my opinion if you hurt your customer more than once and you don't even give a tiny discount for the inconvenient service of many hours don't even expect it.

The experience I had with Bella was amazing. She had a pair of magic hands, made my body totally relaxed and want to come back for more. The extended eyelashes were very natural and not overly done. also the price were reasonablely charged. She told me the price upfront, but I received much more than the value. I don't usual write reviews, but I felt the need to share my experience oppose to the unpleasant experience the other lady had. I really liked the place. She was really clean and careful even though she did take longer than usual, at least for my pedicure. I had a pedicure and a massage. For the pedicure, she used a brand new set of consumable tools (filer, buffer, etc) for me and apparently for every customer, too. I'm not sure if every beauty salon does that, but at least I saw her opening the plastic package for the sealed tool set instead of claiming that they are brand new like other salons when the tools are just pulled out of some drawer or sitting on a counter. I thought that was really nice cause just having the thought of having used tools used on me grosses me out. I also noticed that the water used to soak my feet had a good aroma to it and I asked her. She said that she put epsom salt with tea tree oil. I searched it on Google and realized that it helps to eliminate foot odor by fighting bacteria and fungus on the foot and aid in soothing tired, achy feet. She was really careful with getting rid of the dead skins and calluses on my feet though. She used an electric grinding device that didn't really hurt, but you can still feel it grinding off those dead skins. My feet felt smooth afterwards, I'm not sure what happened in the other case. She also offered me toxin-free nail polishes/gel nails, I wasn't really interesting, but was curious to smell as many nail polishes nowadays smell awful. They didn't have too strong of a smell. I thought the price was not bad at all. I paid $30+tax for it. I don't know what the other lady expected. A manicure + pedicure + gel/nail polish for $40? That's a little unrealistic to me. Each $40 would make more sense to me, $40 + $40 + tax is close to $100. It is kinda reasonable that the price is higher here than in Ottawa. We are in Kelowna afterall. Things are hella expensive in BC... The highlight of my trip to the spa, the oriental massage. I was confused at first and didn't know what an "oriental" massage was. I was curious and it was the only full-body option offered, so I decided to go with it. Later on I found out that it was a combination of deep-tissue, where she pressed really deeply down to those muscle points and hot stone massages. I thought it was not too intense and not just for the feeling. Because of the firm presses on the tension points, I actually felt revived after having the massage done. Meanwhile, it was not a hell on earth because she finished off with hot stone, where I could just relax and fall half asleep. I felt really rejuvenated after that. After all, I would say that she can definitely work on being faster at pedicure, but she was careful and that was really why it took longer than normal. I rather you take your time and deliver a great service than rushing things and prioritize the money-making side of your service. As for the massage, I had nothing to complain, it was simply awesome in my opinion.

This was one of the best massages I have ever had (and I have had A LOT). My fiance and I went to visit Kelowna, went for a 1.5 hour massage and immediately booked a second appointment before we left. Bella went above and beyond for us, she is so kind and so good at was she does. Her combination massage of relaxing, therapeutic and deep tissue was the perfect blend for a massage. The hot towels Bella used to wipe off the oils, the hot stones and separate towel for your feet made this experience even better. We will be going back to see Bella when we visit Kelowna again.
