I am super impressed with Accentual Spa. I had lash extentions done almost 31/2 weeks ago and they still look amazing! It was so relaxing I almost fell asleep!! I also have a mani pedi with gel polish and loved the results! I will definitely be a repeat customer! The technicians are super friendly and kind!

I've been seeing Mackenzie for over a year now.. always leave more then happy! Done threading, waxing, eyelashes and nails .. it's been really easy for me to get in even with a crazy schedule. Super clean and relaxing environment/atmosphere. :)

Friendly staff, but poor service. I did not want or ask for fake nails, but that's what I got. Entire process was rushed, lacquer is pitted, nails are uneven, and stamped design is crooked and unprofessional looking. I'm going to end up having to pay someone else to remove. I'd recommend that staff listen to the customer, rather than telling the customer what they should want.

I saw Teresa last year. I answered a post for a discounted rate on a fill so that she could get more experience because she had been out of the industry for awhile. She constantly got upset with me for not holding my hands right and then rushed the nail art portion of the job. They turned out terrible. Two days after the nails broke. Being this my own experience I was disgusted but after hearing about her recent actions I am absolutely appalled!!!! You should not be in the customer service industry!!!!

I had a new gel set done, not two nails look the same and one broken three days, they charge me full price to fix it not happy customer and I did have to work myself by putting the tip on. ……….OK here’s an update ,went back to have them fix and left with a lovely set of nails. Teresa made me feel very comfortable and went the extra to make them with a little Pizzazz for me . see the wonderful ladies with a beautiful atmosphere.

So my mom has been going here for years, and I decided to get gel nails for once. Now I've been going religiously! Mack is the only one who does my nails and she pays such attention to detail and such a refreshing person to talk to! I've gotten her to thread my eyebrows before and they were perfect, as well as eyelash extensions and again I was super happy! Couldn't ask for a better esthetician! Thanks mack❤️

VERY DISAPPOINTED with customer service. I live out of province and called to get my 65 year old diabetic, arthritic mother a manicure. I asked 3 times to have the email (they were sending as the gift) to be sent to me so I could surprise my Mother for Mothers Day. After the transaction was complete the Manager (Teresa) still sent the email to my mother's address. When I said I was disappointed, the manager (Teresa) simply said "What do you want me to do?". Odd answer (guess I was hoping for a sorry) but honestly the damage was done. However no use crying over spilled milk. Gave the Mothers day gift early and my mom was thrilled. However late Friday night my husband got a call from the Manager (Teresa) and she told him she will be e transferring our money back and won't deal with my abusive mother. I can't say I have ever thought of my mother as abusive but Wow. I was definitely shocked to hear it but OK. I can't recommend this salon as they refused to serve a 65 year old woman. A refund was issued. Mothers Day gift returned. This was a new one for me. #rightorefuseservice. When I spoke to my mother she said she wasn't sure what to say, she didn't believe there was an issue. Never the less, we found another place that is happy to give her a nice hour of pampering. Note to self don't always go with first choice and read any reviews. If something starts out wrong, it usually doesn't get better from there. Will be sure to review the new nail salon. My mother went to Cheek to Chic and there were no issue and mother stated it was such a great experience that she booked another appointment. They received a 5 star from me. I called to ask if there were any issues and the ladies said no my Mother was such a nice lady. So I really don't know what happened at Accentual but I would be careful and make sure you try more that just one nail salon.

I went for my first threading there last month and had a wonderful experience, They were even okay with my 5 year old daughter sitting around and playing with her ponies while I had my eyebrows shaped up and rethreaded, I can't wait to go back again- I'll have to book a pedicure as well because being on my feet 8 hours a day is wreaking havoc on them :)

Thought we bought a certified massage online, and to get there, found out it was just a self taught person and no online payment service with company they use, so payment went to another company in states and paid again at shop. The owner spoke down to me as though I was trying to get away with something. This was supposed to be my mother's day gift and it was actually stressful and upsetting. I’ve been getting my nails done by Mackenzie for years and she’s the best!! My nails are always exactly what I asked for. I also recently started getting my eyelash extensions done by her as well as my eyebrows tinted. Such a smooth process. She makes booking an appointment easy and painless and will always find time for me. Though I cannot speak to anyone else in the shop, I am constantly impressed by Mackenzie. The shop itself is very cute and comfy, as well as clean. Thanks Mack!! :-)

I found this place online so I went in with an open mind, but the experience within the Spa was fantastic: I was super early for my eyebrow threading appointment but Makenzie took me in early and did an outstanding job with my eyebrows (I had been going to another place closer to me before but they completely ruined my brows) but she was able to do them according to my actual shape and not based on what they were and immediately was able to visualize what my eyebrows are supposed to look like. Will definitely go back

Started going here in October to get gel sets, and I will seriously never go to another salon besides these ladies as long as I live in town. They’re so warm and welcoming, and Teresa does an AMAZING job. Very easy to talk to, takes very good care of her business as well (literally always spotless when I would go in). 10/10 would highly recommend.

The nails looked okay but broke one not evening doing something that shouldn't have broken it. So went got fixed somewhere else and found out she built my nails from the glitter glue and not gel Will never go there again found out they cut corners and time by doing it the cheapest way.and have lumps in my nails. So going somewhere else to have them removed and redone.

Teresa gave me the worst mani pedi I have ever received. She wasn’t wearing gloves while giving me a manicure and nothing seemed to be disinfected. She didn’t even remove all my old polish before paining again. She didn’t put a top coat on my toes and had me leave the salon without letting them dry. I had to walk outside in flip flops in the snow with wet toes. It was $60 for a mini mani pedi and the service was horrible. I can’t imagine paying for full service and getting this result.

Went to see Laura for a set of gel nails as I have an awful habit of biting mine incredibly short and I'm trying to break it. Having moved from Vancouver where I went to the same studio for almost 15 years it was important that I find the right place here in Kelowna. After trying out a couple other places in the Mission I landed on this studio and the rest is history. From the minute I walked in for my first appt I knew that I had found a place for all my nail and spa needs. Teresa the owner is always welcoming to everyone that walks through the door and she has instilled the same with her team. She takes great pride in her space and it shows in the cleanliness and protocols that are followed. I could go on and on but needless to say if you’re looking for a place where you feel more like a friend than just a client this is the place for you!

In reguards to Pheebee's comment I can't believe a nail technician would be so inexperienced and nieve.. To say that someone used "glitter glue" . Im sure most educated people would know that there is no way of creating nails with craft supplies as such. I had been getting my nails done at the same place for over 10 years in Vancouver and when we decided to move to Kelowna 3 1/2 years ago I was worried if I would find a good place here. I tried a couple of different places (which I would never go to again) and then lucked out finding Accentual Spa. Have been going here for the past 3 years and have ALWAYS had great work, the ladies are all very nice and I look forward to my appointments. I would NOT consider going anywhere else.
