Gone there several times over the past year; was recommended by my mother-in-law. They've done amazing job; including acrylic nails set, fills, designs & eye brow waxing. They were gentle when doing my nails, when I asked for one design they explained why that design wouldn't work & suggested other options that were similar and would work. My eye brows were perfect; even, done the way I wanted. I won't be going anywhere else anytime soon, I'm so happy with my experience there. I will suggest that you call & book an appointment rather than walk in because chances are they won't be free enough to do your walk in.

They were very gentle and my nails turned out with the perfect shape and size I wanted! They took their time and effort to make my nails just the way I wanted them to be. Their nails last a really long time for me and I highly recommend going to this place, you won’t regret it!!

My daughter and I went for shellac pedicures. Found this place to be very overpriced. I asked to see the price for a shellac pedicure on their service list. They did not have this just said it was $65!!! which was more than double what a regular pedicure was. Also charged $10 for shellac removal which came off easily with a file and they didn't even have to soak my nails. Someone else mentioned $2 for nail file also. I felt like they were gouging. It wasn't even a great job. Dated equipment and the place was empty. I found them to be rude. Will never go here again.

They don’t push back cuticles or clip hangnails. Nails were uneven lengths but probably nobody will notice. Hustled me out the doors with the nail polish still soft. I wouldn’t go in the winter for that reason. I got dents in the polish just taking off my mask and opening my car door. If I had more time, I would have gone back and made them redo it.

I’ve been to lots of nail salons, and this one by far is the worst. Their customer service and quality were horrible. I had a manicure and pedicure less than one week ago, and my shellac is already missing in pieces on my finger nails. When they asked what colour I wanted, I said white but shellac. They didn’t listen, and instead just used regular nail polish on my toes. When I asked if they were doing what I had asked for, they said no just regular and offered no discount/apology for not doing what I asked for. They did not include the normal things a pedicure comes with. Will not return again, there are many better nail salons in Kawartha lakes to go to.

was hoping to get a mani/pedi with my two friends, Had booked appointment for 5:30, immidiatley felt as though we were being rushed out of the store. My one friend was left unattended for over 45 minutes while there was an available worker- not to mention we were the only customers here at the time. Was chargerd $75 for a manicure ( shellac nails ) and pedicure . My nails have since chipped and fallen off after 4 days, my one friend was forgotten under the foot dryers and her nail polish was all bubbly. I understand holidays can be busy, but the service provided to us was unfair and quite poor.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had a nail saloon. Their manicure wasn't even a real manicure and their shellec is horrible. They overcharge and the service is horrendous. I would not recommend this place at all.

Got a very good pedicure, and was most reassured of cleanliness when I saw they use disposable plastic tub inserts for foot bath. Owner's daughter Ava is a gem, and a pleasure to chat with. Prices reasonable.

My daughter and gf and l had a wonderful fantastic experience. My daughter and gf had manicure and acrylic nails put on. Both ladies where kind, good hygiene, gentle and very kind. They even took thier time and explained everything. Did a very excellent job on both girls. I myself had a pedicure done it was the most gentle and very good hygiene ever. I've had plenty of pedicures done at other nail salons that where not as nearly as gentle as this pedicure. Ava Beauty & Nail Spa isnt overly fancy. Could need a little TLC. But they place over all is very clean and tidy. If you want a fantastic wonderful pedicure or manicure here. I would differently reccomend here for excellent work, kind, hygiene and take thier time as well. They didn't rush through anyone of us. I will go back again. Thank you so very much Ava Beauty & Nail Spa for a relaxing and excellent experience. Well done ladies.

In the spring of 2020, I booked 3 manicures for 1pm on September 18th in preparation for a wedding. Because I had booked so far in advance, 2 days prior to the appointment I called to confirm the 3 manicures at 1pm. Upon arrival there were 2 employees working on clients. at 1:15, they both freed up and I asked the bride and bridesmaid to go first, hoping that a third employee would arrive to do my nails. No such luck. By 2:15pm, they were just finishing up. Needless to say, I did not get my nails done due to our schedule that day. I received no explanation or apology.
