I have been to Sugar and Spice a few times now for their brow lamination service, and I have nothing but praise to give. My eyebrows have never looked better than when I leave an appointment with Arnica. Arnica is attentive to detail and listens to your requests. She is professional and makes the service incredibly relaxing, as well as offering incredible advice on how to get the most out of your service. The staff are a wealth of knowledge! I usually come after my night shifts and I am always left feeling refreshed. The studio is clean, quiet, and beautiful. They are very diligent with their COVID protocols. I cannot recommend Sugar and Spice enough - I am excited to try out more of their services! I will absolutely be returning!

I have been a client of sugar and spice for years. There are so many amazing things I can say about arnica and the girls. Most recently I have been focusing on my face care regime. Arnica and Stephanie are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to helping correct and improve any skin condition. I have never felt pressured or pushed towards any treatments or products, they have both recommended great places to start and where to grow to. Both Arnica and Stephanie have such a warm and welcoming presence, I would highly recommend the medi spa and the salon to anyone in town who is looking for brows or lashes. Above all though, if you are looking to really start taking care of your skin they focus on naturally improving your skin through treatments and medical grade skin care. took my friend here to get our nails done for her birthday! They took off 15% for her nails which was nice of them! They did some lovely work and it was a “simply sweet manicure” for us both! We were basically treated like royalty and let us stay in the “golden room” so we could sit together to get our nails done! I also got my brows done and they also did a great job with that. I’ll be sure to go back there again sometime in the future.

I got my very first set of eyelash extensions with Arnica and wow! It's only been a day and I've already had more than a few girls ask where I got them done. They look fantastic, and Arnica was so patient and gentle. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who's interested in their first pair. I called asking for an eyelash fill even though I did not get my set there and they said yes they can do that, so I booked an appointment and went in only to have them tell me that they “reserve the right to remove my lashes” and then they’d have to charge me for a full new set when that is not what they told me on the phone. With not a lot of time for the appointment I obliged and had the eyelashes removed so they could put on new ones but then had them say they wouldn’t have time and left me with no lashes. With the time we DID have left I got my eyebrows waxed (very good job I have to admit) and the lady told me they’d only charge for the brows since we couldn’t do anything else in that appointment. When I got to the counter they charged me nearly $55 and said they had to charge for an eyelash removal which is a $25 service alone (that I didn’t even want to begin with!!) Needless to say not impressed with how they handled that situation and should have told me everything up front when I originally asked instead of after the fact since I left with no eyelashes at all - literally none. Couldn’t even put mascara on and am still waiting for them to grow out properly ????????

I was nervous going in with no previous experience, but was comforted that Arnica is so knowledgeable and has a very warm personality. Since it was all so new to me she spent extra time going over the different treatments; their potential outcomes, how low/high maintenance they are well as aftercare and makeup tips to keep them looking prime! I had such a great experience at Sugar and Spice yesterday that I had to share! Firstly, when I booked my appointment, I received a message that very clearly outlined how to find the location and what the protocols surrounding Covid would look like once I arrived to the salon. This made me feel comfortable and confident going to Sugar and Spice for services during this time. I arrived slightly early and was able to enjoy their outdoor courtyard until my appointment time when I was greeted and given friendly but clear direction on what to expect and where to go when entering. I was already impressed by this salon before even receiving any services and was even more pleased after the fact! I received wax services from Stephanie White. I was a first time “intimate wax” client at this location and Stephanie made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. She continually explained what she was doing and checked in on comfort levels often. Stephanie took her time and made sure everything was perfect using both wax and tweezers. Thank you Stephanie for the amazing service! If you are looking for a wax artist, I 110% recommend Stephanie.

Fare warning people. Went for a wax and specifically requested gentle care due to blood and skin health issues. Was greeted with a fast paced service that almost didnt even let me breathe between strips. Its been 2 weeks and they guarentee less in grown hairs but Im covered in them. This service is meant to be easier for hygiene not harder. Wouldnt recommend for first timers at all.

My name is Dessa and I’ve been a client with Sugar and Spice for a number of years. I’ve enjoyed many services and treatments over the years. I’d like to shed light on Sugar and Spice’s face care services. I’m 40 years old and I’ve always had problems with my skin. I have oily, acne prone and very reactive skin and if anything (and I mean anything) touches my face, I get a pimple. I originally seen a dermatologist who recommended certain skin care products to help with my skin and address the pain of deep pitted pimples. Sugar and Spice carried a specific skin care line that my dermatologist recommended. I purchased the Environ skin care line to help address the pain from my pimples. The first couple of weeks of using Environ, I was hesitant because it seemed to make my acne worse. I knew that it took at least 3 months of commitment and consistency of using the products, so I kept with it. I stuck it through and couldn’t be happier! I was really pleased with how my skin reacted to the products and then I started face care treatments with Arnica as well. That took my skin to the next level. My skin now looks like a completely different colour! It’s healthy, smooth, and so soft. Words I haven’t been able to use to describe my skin since I was a baby! I can honestly say that I am so comfortable in my skin and rarely wear foundation or make up now. I love how my skin feels and looks, but most importantly, I love how my skin gives me a confidence that I’ve been missing for quite some time. I’d recommend Environ products and face care treatments to anyone, especially if you have acne prone skin or are looking to have a more youthful, glowing and clear complexion. It’s the first time face care products worked for me, and I really believe that with consistency, these products can work for anyone.

I waited 3 weeks to get an appointment, it got cancelled due to sickness. I understand that. I was told that there would be a phone call back, I waited, no phone call. I even missed a dinner invitation waiting for the phone call back. It wasn't made right. Now, I don't have any eyelashes. I am not working now, I just paid $150 to get my lashes on, I saved up for the refill, I can't afford to pay another $150. Not fair. I loved my eyelashes. I am going to school and I can only do Saturdays. I am on a budget, and I saved up to get a refill done. They are really busy and don't care about me, I always have to wait when I go in because they are always behind. They don't care about losing me as a customer. I am really disappointed!!!

Being a product of the 90's I was a bit hesitant to get my brows laminated. Arnica took the time to walk me through the whole process and come to my own conclusion without pushing me. Once they were complete, Arnica showed me different ways to style my brows on days I didn't want them so fluffy. (That hasn't happened yet!) My brows are so easy to fill now, take little to no time every day and even on day's I don't want to do full make up I look put together. Sitting down to start my procedure with Arnica, it felt like I was catching up with a GF I hadn't spoken to in months. I can't wait to continue seeing her and actually getting to catch up on life events! Thanks Arnica for getting me hooked.
