The consultation was free (it always is here), and I have since had my underarms lasered once with my second appointment scheduled for later this week - the effects have been awesome! 10/10 would recommend

I would highly recommend this place. It is worth every penny. I did my lower legs once so far and even though it was once my hair is significantly thinner. I have done other areas as well and if you are ever nervous this place will put you at ease. Rena is very professional she talks you through everything and never makes you feel uncomfortable. I have done my under arms, Brazilian , full legs. The rest of the staff are always so friendly and the new facility is modern and always clean.

I really wish I took a before picture. If you're a person who struggles with extremely itchy, red, bumps after shaving your bikini area you can finally stop searching, because this place is your solution. Ive only had 3 sessions and I have had massive relief, I can finally wear a bikini confidently without discomfort. Worth every single penny, but the pricing is extremely reasonable anyways! Not to mention the ladies working here have some great tips, I had no idea coconut oil would help reduce the irritation - and it works! I believe her name was Amber, thanks again! I've also tried the teeth whitening, but I don't recommend it. Ive had it done at other places with better results and you only do one session for the results. This they recommend 3, at that point your better off handing out the extra money at the dentists. Not to mention due to COVID-19 its a very odd process.. its not policy, but preference for customers to wear masks for some of the service providers, which is very fair. Problem is after wearing a mask you have to take it off anyways and she just passes you the stuff within arms length for you to apply and discard. I wouldn't of bothered if I knew it was like that, I had no warning either masks were preferred. As a suggestion, it would be nice to recieve an email indicating this so you dont disrespect the staff that have this preference. Fantastic place though, deserves the high rating . I look forward to trying their other services!

The gals at smooth effects are so welcoming and helpful. I was embarrassed to go in for treatment, but they made me feel totally at ease. They provide an excellent and effective service for a reasonable price. I have had 6 chin sessions and 4 brasilians done at smooth effects. Each session has been professional, sanitary, and without complication. I would recommend anyone to smooth effects kamloops!

I had been wanting laser for years but was always a bit nervous about it. I decided this year to bite the bullet and went for my free consult to start. Amber was great and eased my worries. I’ve gone for 3 treatments now and the results are insane! Wish I had done it sooner. 10/10 recommend smooth effects for anyone considering laser hair removal.

I was very nervous about getting my Brazilian treatment done because A) it is expensive and I don't spend that much money on these kinds of things and B) the results wouldn't be what I hoped for. Boy was I wrong on both! Yes expensive, but YES worth it!!! I have had 6 Brazilian sessions and they were 100% worth it. No more ingrown hairs, more confidence with my sex life, and no insecurities in a bikini! Thanks Smooth Effects of making me feel comfortable, as it was a very intimate experience haha! Cheers!

If I could leave a rating that is less then 1 star I would. The reasons are many, one being they made huge mistakes in booking my treatment times on many occasions. The second reason is different staff gave me different advice and proceeded with different treatments all under the disguise of knowledgeable trained staff. Two of my sessions left me with burns and scars and they say the settings never changed from previous treatments. The manager and owner refused to even talk about it and were extremely rude. In fact all the staff seemed to be young, immature and very unprofessional. I was told business is growing as they opened a bigger location and have great online reviews. Not everyone who has a problem with this business will leave a review like the false positive reviews from their friends. Be careful accessing this business.

Smooth Effects Kamloops has been my saving grace! I have been receiving laser hair treatments with them for almost a year and I couldn't be happier with the results! I LOVE not worrying about unwanted hairs, and more time spent doing face and hair masks rather than shaving! Would highly recommend them and Tianna is a fantastic technician! :)

I went to Smooth Effects for laser treatments (Brazilian & Underarms) and the ladies were fantastic. Obviously when you're naked and spread out in front of someone you usually feel quite vulnerable and uncomfortable, but the ladies really make the entire experience feel comfortable and they put my anxiety at ease. I have the ideal hair/skin type, but even after one treatment on each, I noticed huge results. I'll definitely be going back and will recommend to anyone considering laser.

My friends at the hospital recommended smooth effects when I needed upper lip hair removal. I was very embarrassed about this, but the staff at smooth effects were so professional, knowledgeable and very accommodating to my shift work schedule. Now I am free of the unwanted hair and so much happier about my appearance.
