Here you will be able to see all the information of real people who are consuming the services of Parklane Pools & Spas (Spa) in the area close to Kamloops (Canada).
At the present the business has a score of 4.6 out of 5 and the score has been based on 63 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings is basically the best, and it's founded on a very large number of reviews, so we can think that the score is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put reviews when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Spa is included in the category of Swimming pool supply store.
Excellent quality. Friendly staff. And the electrician was impeccable. Everything was installed nice and neat. Perfectly. There was a long wait to get my spa but that's not their fault. (Covid issue)
Great bbq supplies and rubs! Yeah MEATCHURCH
I am extremely disappointed & shocked at the lack of service and support I got from Parklane Pools and Spa. When Parklane sold me a $17,000 Hotspring Spa for my backyard several years ago, part of their sales pitch was they guaranteed top notch support & service. When my kids went to use our hot tub last night they discovered the water was freezing cold. And, the heater had stopped working. I called Parklane and left a message saying I needed emergency service because it was minus 6 degrees Celsius outside and my hot tub apparently stopped working a few days ago because the water was very cold. This morning (Wednesday - and the temperature was still minus 4 outside) Sheri from Parkland told me they would try and fit me in at the end of the week on Friday. I pleaded with her to please send someone out to at least stop everything from freezing. She told me I would have to call someone else and that I should go buy a heater to keep the pipes warm. Are you kidding me? On the flip side, when we discovered the hot tub as broken, I called the electrician at 10pm last night. When the owner heard what was going on, he not only came over, but he ran down to Walmart and purchased a small 1500-watt ceramic space heater which he brought over and put in the underneath housing of my hot tub so it would slow down the freezing of the water in the pipes. But he also said that my pump didn't sound good and that the hot tub was not heating. He said it was critical to get in touch with Parklane right away and he warned me what would happen if everything froze. Compounding the problem, the hot tub would only circulate for several minutes and then the pump would shut down whereupon I would have to manually start it again. The electrician said it was important to keep the water circulating until Parklane got here. He also left me with an electric tester to ensure the heater didn't blow the breaker and he told me to check it every few hours. This guy deserves (and will get) a 5-star review from me. Obviously I can't wait my hot tub for 2 and a half days while Parkland decides whether they can fit me in for an emergency call. I called Parklane back and spoke with Holly this time. I explained how desperate I was. I shared with her what Sheri said to me earlier. Her attitude was condescending. She told me that they had lots of other customers who needed help and that I would have to wait. I told her I couldn't believe what she was saying. I reminded her that I had been a loyal customer of theirs since 2004 (12 years) using them for pool and hot tub chemicals, yearly winterizations & spring openings of my swimming pool, buying hot tubs, pool covers, and pool supplies. Her response was that they had lots of loyal customers like that. What made writing this review so difficult was that I am a friend and patient of their son who is an amazing chiropractor. But, people need to know about this kind of terrible customer service and support. Especially when they tell you they don't care whether or not you leave a negative review online. When I asked Holly what she would think if I left a Google review online recounting all this, she said "go ahead". This is the first negative review I have left on Google for any Kamloops business. Parklane clearly does not deserve their so-called huge bunch of loyal customers based on the arrogance and attitude they displayed to me. Today is Feb 12, 2016 and I got an apology letter from Marion Day who is the new owner of Parklane Pool and Spa. I just discovered that they purchased the company a couple of years ago. Honestly, I am extremely happy to get her letter - and it seemed to be very genuine and heartfelt. In their letter to me (which was not included in their online response to me) they asked me if I would reconsider continuing to be their customer. My answer to that is YES, of course I will. The reason I have been a customer for so many years was because of the great service and excellent work that I enjoyed from Parklane. They stepped up to the plate & everybody deserves a 2nd chance.

Typically quite pricy but they know their stuff.
They replaced my pool liner, price was right on- inline with other quotes. Great staff, they addressed all my concerns immediately. Did a bang up job. I'm a happy camper- I will definitely be back to buy more.
Met with the owner... he was great , answered all my questions of product and price . Will be back for my hot tub and above ground pool for sure .
Great store and really knowledgeable staff.
Marion Day and Steve Ledger are amazing! They always put customers first and amazing to deal with! Definitely recommended and would give higher than 5 stars if I could!
Absolutely awesome staff, service and product. Wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.
Very knowledgeable friendly and helpful
I thought I would support local business and try to purchase my smoker from a local shop. I purchased the smoker and took it home. It worked great for 3 cooks. The fourth cook was a brisket which I planned to cook all day. About halfway thru the cook the auger motor stopped moving, and when it tried to move it would make a grinding noise. I called parklane and they told me to call customer service. After being on hold for two hours, I finally got a response from Dansons customer service and they said my auger motor is faulty and they will ship me a new one. So on a week old smoker, I am waiting for two weeks before I can use it for the 5th time. Due to the experience, I don't recommend parklane for pellet grills. I know if I bought the pitboss from Costco, they would have exchanged it no questions asked.
(Translated) Just perfect for a romantic evening for two. (Original) Einfach perfekt für einen romantischen Abend zu zweit.
Parklane designed and installed our pool when we built our house. Very happy with their professionalism and quality of service.
Larry put our pool in May in 1983.. I bought the house in December 1985. I have been going to Parklane Pool and Spa since then and I enjoy the professionalism there.. I finally after 25 years had to get a new liner and They measured and ordered the liner for me. Awesome Company.. Thank you
Really helpful staff and great hot tubs. They sell a good range from high end to middle of the road.
Knowledgeable and efficient service.
Always helpful friendly staff
Spa newbie, I walked in with a box of old chemicals. I was told what did what, and how to set up my spa for the first time. Super helpful, and didn’t try to upsell me anything!
Friendly staff. Great pool advise
Highly efficient, very professional, very friendly staff, very knowledgeable, excellent service! Thank you !
Friendly and helpful. Knowledgeable. Have everything you didn't know you needed.
They took really good care of us! So knowledgeable and professional, they arranged every step from crane delivery to permits to wiring-up my breaker. They also gave us very detailed and easy instructions for care and maintenance of the tub. They really know what they are doing. Excellent service! I love my new hot tub!!
Awesome service very helpful for new pool owner's
We bought our hot tub from Parklane a couple of years ago and could not be happier with our purchase! We live a 4 hour drive from kamloops, but they delivered and installed our tub for a very reasonable rate! Service was fast, friendly and they were extremely knowledgeable. Other companies we talked to thought setting it up in our chosen location would be tough and costly, but Parklane had the right tools and set up seemed a breeze. They taught us how to maintain and drain the tub. We have not had any problems with our tub, but when we called them to discuss switching chemicals, they walked us through the pros and cons. Then had the new chemicals on the bus in a matter of hours! We would highly recommend them to our friends!
Very friendly staff
They have everything
My wife & I have always had exemplary device from every one we have dealt with @ Parklane. Products have endured the test of time,as has the service....consummate professionals ....oh, & did I say friendly?! Yup siree Bob!
Outdoor patio table, approximate cost $500; delaminated after couple of years use. Parklane was contacted and problem reported. The table is kept outside and covered over the winter months. This supposed quality product that Parklane sells...did not stand up! Little effort to resolve the issue was made by their staff. An insignificant discount on the purchase off another table was offered. Not an encouraging situation to further business with them. Unhappy customer!
Friendly service.
Review of Parklane Pools and Spa: I purchased a brand new hot tub through Parklane Pools and Spa in the summer of 2016. The brand new tub was approximately $8000.00. After only a few weeks after installation, my hot tub experienced breaker issues. Parklane did replace the breaker one or two times. The problem persisted with eventually the tub shutting down in the peak of the winter season, I believe February. As you can imagine, with the temperature being well below zero, my concern for the water and equipment freezing was very high. Parklane Pools could not send anyone out for an emergency call and suggested I place a space heater till they could service the tub. Eventually, after three to four days with the space heater running , my hot tub had a new pump installed and repaired. I believe both sides were co-operative in this on going issue, but the reason I am writing the review now is for this fact: On April 11, 2017, I explained to Parklane Pools (Holly) that I was in need of a water exchange for my hot tub. She said she could arrange that service since I have had this same service done back in November 2016. The process is basically taking the old water out and replacing with new water. I asked her is she could speak to Marion (owner) and see if I could get a discount on the service since the issue of having my hot tub shut down in February and losing the ability to use it with my guests for the whole weekend. Also, I explained that running the space heater for 3 straight days would be an expense which I had to cover (hydro). Holly said she would talk to Marion and get back to me. To my surprise, Holly called me back and said the water exchange service is no longer an option for residents of Sun Peaks. Their reasoning is that it takes too long to exchange the water and not worth their time. Funny, in my initial call , Holly was willing to set up a time for the service, but only after I asked for a discount they took the service away. I felt explaining my situation with our purchase needed to be addressed. I said that we purchased a brand new hot tub which over several months never worked correctly, culminating in the hot tub not working at all. I suggested to Holy that after all the issues the least they could do is give us some sort of compensation. Instead, they took the service away from us. To me this example is not so much about the money, but more importantly is about long term customer service and integrity. When I explained to Holly about my concerns she said that they didn't build the hot tub and they have gone above and beyond. I explained to Holly that both parties have gone "above and beyond" and Parklane needs to stand behind their products as they are the distributor for them. When I was purchasing the hot tub, Parklane told me about the quality of their tubs and service. In writing this review, I would hope Parklane re-considers their customer service process. I will be contacting the BBB to see my options to these issues. I would hope the remainder of my warranty period will be serviced by Parklane Pools better than the first few months.
