Had a great late night dinner here! We ordered drinks and they were perfect. Dinner was so delicious! We happened to want to share mains, and the chef split up our meal without us asking! That’s definitely attention to detail. Loved the butter that came along with the steak! Thanks again to Carlos for the fantastic service!!!

Food here “looks” great! However they are too salty and the taste does not match the price also the website offers kids under 5 for free but we didn’t offered any free kids meal at all. However the two stars goes to the service. The service was standard. Friendly and polite. Not worth to visit again.

Old school lodge vibe. Very friendly servers and bartenders with suggestions and conversation. Newer menu than I remembered from the past, but nonetheless good. I will continue to come to this venue as I am a local. Highly recommend.

Simply, a beautiful place to be. I could not afford to stay here this time but maybe in the future.

From the front gate to our amazing server! Had a wonderful experience this evening at the Emerald Lounge jpl! Brett (our server) went above and beyond. He was able to recommend cocktails that suited our pallets perfectly and able to ensure our meals met our dietary needs, this was executed seamlessly. Thank you Brett for making our experience memorable! We will come back!

Mac & cheese is delicious with beef on the top but with extra cost and it's has good portion but a bit expensive

Amazing service and scenery, the food was great too

Area was awesome. Restaurant was good. I ordered medium raw steak. It was not bad. It took long to bring the food.

Dang it! This is literally the best restaurant in Canada. The mushroom ravioli and salt & pepper chicken wings are the best! It's also cheap with great view! Come here quick! (The poutine here is a little salty… But it's still very good :D)

Sadly our experience here was very poor. We had made reservations at another restaurant in JPL and upon arrival were told that there would be a set menu for the evening, being that it was New Years Eve. This menu didn't appeal to us as we had already scoped out the regular menu and had our hearts set on ribeyes, so we decided to go up The Emerald Lounge. We were sat in a dark corner right beside a drafty window and after ordering a bottle of wine we asked the server if he had any other open tables in his section as this table was very cold. He seemed offended by the question and said he did not have another table. After this interaction, we watched another couple enter the lounge and sit a at one of the many open tables, our server walked right over and greeted them. We asked him again, if we could move to another table and said we would be happy to clear up for the wine if he had no other tables available in his section, it was simply uncomfortable to sit there. This time, he moved us to another open table in his section. After settling into the new table feeling happy and warm we ordered the mussels to start off our meal. This was a big mistake, huge. The mussels arrived while my partner was in the washroom and I immediately noticed a strong fishy smell, but went ahead and reached for the first mussel anyways. It was cold, it was stringy and very, very fishy. For some idiotic reason I continued with three more, desperately searching for an improvement, but alas every mussel was worse than the last. We had mentioned to the server earlier that we had rib eyes in mind so he came by to see if we were ready to place the order. We responded that were very sorry but the mussels that we served to us were so bad we were turned off by the thought of ordering anything else here. This visibly upset the server, he apologized and said he would return with the bill but left the fishy smelling mussels on the table. He returned with the bill and had removed the charge for the mussels. We went back to our room and ordered a pizza for dinner. I wish this is where the story ends but unfortunately, things took a turn for the worst. The pizza arrived and although we hadn't eaten all day I could not eat a single slice, for i was feeling queazy. It was a long night of ringing in the new year while ejecting the mussels back were they belonged (the trash) and I regret everything that led up to us entering The Emerald Lounge. Great views though!

Excellent food. Great view.

Sitting in the Emerald Lounge on a cold day in March, drinking the delicious Mulled Wine. It was too good to get a photo when the glass was full. Matthew the bartender uses his Grandmother’s method with his secret (not so secret because he shared it with us) recipe and we are in love. Great ambience, excellent service, and a view of the beautiful mountains.

Expected more from a fairmont hotel. The lounge atmosphere is great. However the food was less than mediocre.

Food was amazing!! Great service and ambience.. There were not many options for vegetarians, could may be include a few more vegetarian options as well!! Decently priced and would recommend to visit here for sure..

Pretty good place to sit and enjoy the view. The food is good but the menu is a bit limited.

Richard Li

Good views, friendly staff. Food is good but not the best in town. Its convenient if staying at the Fairmont.

Really dissapointed by the Halloumi Sandwhich - it was quite bland. Halloumi has so much potential so it was sad that the flavour i got was more the deep fried onion rings and bun dough. I really wish theyd added flavour through a sauce etc. The waffle fries were really dry and rough (almost cardboardy) - not happy about them at all. However, their pudding au chomeur was amazzzzing. Surprisingly not as sweet as one might expect, and a good blend of textures. The pudding (and the service and aesthetic) is the only reason im giving 3/5 rather then 1/5.

Service was absolutely the worst. Servers were more into socializing than getting drink orders, food order or a bill. Saw bartenders adjust the masks on their noses the grab ice for drinks. This was our 5th time here was so grossed out and won't be back. Prices are ridiculously high. You'd have a better stay at Overlander Mountain Lodge or Patricia Lake Bungalows.

The view is spectacular! It was a bit smokey but still so beautiful. I got the great hall Cobb salad. The chunks of lettuces were hard to navigate but other then that It was delicious. My partner got the creamy cavatappi Unfortunately it was very bland like water cream and pasta. It had raw brussel sprouts that were hard. He did not like it at all. Even salt couldn't make it better.

Love your chicken wings. They are so good. The wings are some of the best I've had. This all came from my 6 year old boy. Loved our waitress and he liked her recommendation for an electric pepper shaker.

Service was ungodly slow, and food was very overpriced for what you get.

Decent cocktails. Gorgeous view. Good service and live music starting at 7pm. On the drive into the resort we saw some elk. I had the mountain cesaer cocktail and it was delicious and spicy. The whiskey sour was a bit too sweet. The lime tart had beautiful fruit but lacked a crispy crust and was more custard forward (I prefer citron forward).

The mountain ceaser was the best I have ever had !

Fantastic lounge in the beautiful Jasper Park Lodge. Feels like a huge cozy log cabin living room, with enormous warm rugs, a large stone fireplace, comfy armchairs and rocking chairs, lovely live acoustic music, lit by lamps and chandeliers, and decorated with Canadian artwork. Beautifully decorated for the holidays, with a two story Christmas tree, a life-sized gingerbread house, and lots of wreaths, string lights, and snowflake stars. Good selection of tasty food and drinks. Service is a bit slow, but I didn't mind since the atmosphere is nice and relaxing and I enjoyed the time waiting.

Loved eating here!!! Beautiful surroundings and very nice service. The food was great too.

Busy lounge in the lobby of the resort house. Food quality just okay.

Jasper Park Lodge is incredible, beautiful, unique, staff are excellent and the whole site is beautiful. Thanks

Friendly service , tasty meal (Blackened Salmon) and an outstanding view. Meal portion seemed small but was adequately filling. A tad bit pricy but it's all quite worth it (always sit at the patio if you can)!!

This is an excellent place to spend the evening enjoying the mountains and the ambience of the lodge. There is a sit down restaurant, a bar, and sofa seatings in the Grand Lobby. There is music nightly with Danielle playing excellent selection of songs including originals she wrote. She was very gracious and came over and posed in a closeup picture with us. You can also see her playing in the lounge picture. We also had the best server in the Lodge, Kendra! A memorable time in Jasper.

Quite place enjoy food and view

Great spot, had all our meals here during our stay. Kids eat free you just order off the kids menu. You sit inside, outside if it’s nice, or by the fire if one is going.

Will

Sat out on the patio, had a bite to eat and enjoyed the incredible view.

Of all the Fairmonts in the area, this is by far my favorite. Very different from Lake Louise and Banff in a good way. Far more low key with better views in my opinion. If you have time, definitely go for a walk around Lake Beauvert or play some table tennis downstairs. Food and service were also impeccable. Nice place!

Sandy Brown

What can I say? Such a good view outside. Foods is great but a little expensive

Antonius Magureanu
