This salon is a little bit of luxury and love in the heart of downtown. Will & his team at the Beauty Lounge are amazing - whether it's a cut, colour, or another service, you won't be disappointed! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a glamorous ambiance and love from the staff and two adorable dogs - Shelly & Hugo. If you haven't been, make an appointment - you will be happy you did.

I called in the day before I was travelling to see if they'd be able to accomodate a waxing appointment and Sarah was more than helpful. When I walked in, Sarah greeted me and let me know Kassandra would be with me shortly. While I didn't wait long at all, Sarah was kind enough to offer me something to drink. During my appointment I was offered the best quality and care. Kassandra exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this salon. Side note: They sell beautiful necklaces and bracelets and also offer other services such as facials, microdermabrasion and chemical peels

On Saturday August 23, 2014 we visited this salon and spa for what we hoped would be a positive experience. My friends and I were planning a special occasion for ourselves and after much deliberation had decided on a spa day. Although we looked into many different salon/spas and even booked another, we ended up deciding to choose yours as I had previous been a customer at both Chrome and The Beauty Lounge and had had positive experiences there. My friend Caitlyn called on August 5 and spoke to the assistant manager to arrange the services that we wanted to receive. We were booked in for 4 half day getaways that were supposed to include the following for $160 each: · 30 minute facial · Deep conditioning hair masque · Wash & Hairstyle · Make-up application · Beauty Manicure · Beauty Pedicure We were booked in from 10am to 3pm and although we arrived on time we ended up staying until almost 4pm and did not receive all of the services promised to us. We felt that despite the fact we had booked early in advance and had expressed it was for a special occasion we were not made a priority at your establishment. One of our friends came up from Calgary specifically for this day and we were all disappointed with our experience there. I, myself only received a wash & style and make-up application. I did not have any issues with these two services, however they were done first thing in the day and I had to redo them by the time I got home in order to go to supper with my friends. I did NOT receive any of the other services we were told we would receive even though I was in the salon for almost 6 hours. It was poorly booked/planned and none of us ended up receiving a facial or hair masque, and some of my friends did not receive a manicure or pedicure either. Some of the services myself and my friends had done were also rushed and then required us to fix them later before our dinner. In the end the receptionist told us that we could pay the full price and then come back at another time to have the rest of the services completed. As this was supposed to be a special treat and our friend travelled from Calgary to join us this is not something we do on a regular basis. We did not want to pay for the services we had not received and the receptionist’s response was to charge us for each service individually. As a result we all paid more than we anticipated and one of my friends paid $183.75 (before tip and tax), which was MORE than the package price even though she did not receive all of the services in the package. We did not feel this was at all acceptable and we will not be coming back.

I've been to the Beauty Lounge twice, both times for a pedicure. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly. My complaint lies in the lack of communication between staff and customer. The first time I booked in, I booked for a pedicure. I was not asked what type (or price range) and ended up getting the cheapest, the mini. This was fine with me as I had a gift certificate for double the amount of the mini. The second time I booked, I assumed I'd be getting the mini again, which would cover the second half of my gift certificate. Upon handing over my gift certificate I was asked to pay the difference. Apparently their 'standard' pedicure is the executive - $65 It is not the $20 increase that bugs me (although I wasn't expecting to pay anything except tip) it is the lack of communication between the staff and the customer. If the executive is actually the standard, then why didn't I receive that the first time? Be warned for future services, please get the front desk to clarify what you are actually booking in for. I personally, did not see a difference between the mini and the executive in terms of length of time + service. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the Beauty Lounge for any further services.

I have visited a variety of salons and clinics for laser hair removal and must say that my best experience has been at The Beauty Lounge. The staff is wonderful, it is clean, and up to date on equipment. Adda was absolutely wonderful - she was informative and made the process painless. As far as treatment success, I have little to no hair growth, and have experienced the longest amount of no hair growth time between sessions (and I have extremely dark/coarse hair; normally have to shave every day). I would highly recommend Adda and the Beauty Lounge. I definitely will continue using their services.

I had Jaylene for a microdermabrasion and facial session and I cannot say enough about how great my experience with her was ! She is kind, courteous and puts lots of effort into making sure I had a good experience. She took her time to assess my needs, used a full suite of products during the facial and even gave me a nice hand massage while my face mask dried! Probably one of the best experiences with an esthetician ever, shes great!!

We had my wedding hair, make-up and a tattoo cover done here. Not only did no one know i was the bride but i was done last. When i got home an hour later after my services, my mother and i had to wash our faces and re-do our make-up. My hair fell and is the only bad thing about my wedding. My tattoo cover-up was laughable and i had to fix it when i got home. We paid a lot of money for less the junior services. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I have been going to the Beauty Lounge for several years to have my hair cut by Flint. The front end staff have always been friendly and personable. Flint always listens carefully to what I am looking for...never assumes I want the same thing. He has been willing to work with me on trying on new looks. I don't get my hair colored but a friend of mine does and says he is an excellent colorist. When William (the owner) is on site I have always been made to feel exceptionally welcome. I have had less success with the esthetic services; mostly okay but nothing exceptional.

Terrible customer service. They 'let go' of the person that I had been going to see for waxing for years, then lied to me about it twice! I had been a client at the Beauty Lounge for years after meeting an excellent esthetician at Chrome and continued going to see her at the Beauty Lounge. She was very good at styling my eyebrows and,pleasant to deal with. In September I booked an appointment weeks in advance before leaving on holiday but received a phone call days before my appointment (scheduled the day before I left) and was told my esthetician was on vacation and I would be booked in with someone else. I trust few people with my eyebrows (especially before vacation pictures) and ended up booking out of town with someone I am familiar with. A few weeks later I called to book with the same esthetician again and was told by the receptionist that she was booked up. So I broke down and got them done by another person there. I even told the receptionist that I come to the salon specifically to see my favorite esthetician, and never once was I advised she was no longer working there. It is unfortunate to see a long time employee let go of from the salon and I would be reluctant to return without her present. Now after discovering I was LIED to about it.... I had started getting my hair done there and had been going for years for waxing and pedicures, but I am never going back.

Went to the Beauty Lounge to get my hair done, and it never disappoints. I have now been there for laser hair removal, hair colour/cut and a pedicure. I can definitely say that my experience in all these areas has been awesome. I got my hair cut and coloured by the owner, Wil, and he put so much time an effort into my hair, I was really impressed. He is very professional and knows exactly what he's doing and what it is that the customer wants. I have now referred all my coworkers and friends over to the Beauty Lounge, and even for the guys in my office, this is their go-to place to buy gift cards for the women in their life! Gorgeous place and Wil is excellent.

While the Beauty Lounge may offer other great services, I do not recommend it for laser hair removal. I bought a Groupon for 6 treatments of laser hair removal (underarms, lower legs, Brazilian). I booked with Ada originally due to the great reviews on her, and then the day before my appointment I was told they had to hire a new laser technician. I was a bit apprehensive but I rebooked for 2 weeks later. At my consult appointment, the new technician assessed my skin type and we went ahead with the full first treatment. I am not prone to burning, or bruising and have previously had 7 laser treatments at a different salon so I did not expect the outcome of this appointment. I was treated at too high a setting and I am severely burned in the Brazilian area. I have consulted a physician and may have permanent scarring. I was advised this is not a normal side effect, and while some people are more sensitive than others, the error should have been realized long before the entire area was treated. One or two small burns would have been understandable, however unfortunately a very large area is affected. I was refunded my money by Groupon for the remaining treatments, and I will not be returning to the Beauty Lounge.

Will's Beauty Lounge is outstanding. I say this from the perspective of husband and Dad of some very exacting women. My wife and daughters all use the beauty lounge and some of our friends have caught on too. Whether they're getting styling, color, mani's and pedi's, laser or spa treatments they always feel spoiled and happy with the end result. I've even been seen in the lounge myself enjoying a couples massage on our anniversary and for no reason other than to enjoy getting pampered. Just call me spa boy. Will's obvious skill with beauty is matched by the pleasant environment he has created in his lounge, where one can feel like they are out on the town just sitting in a chair. I've seen him working with bridal parties that actually looked like they were having a party as he attended to their needs. Little kids end up feeling like big people as they get treated with the same sparkling energy. I never thought I'd say that a Beauty Lounge is a suitable experience for the whole family but in this case it's very easy.

Absolutely loved this place. Such a cute and unexpected interior. It had a warm and inviting atmosphere. Lots of plants!!!! Everything was clean and appealing to the eye. I was greeted with a warm smile by the receptopnist when I walked in and was offered a refreshment right away which I actually really needed lol. It came in a whine glass.???????? A girls gotta stay hydrated! I was booked with Jaylene and highly recommend her! She took her time and did a fantastic job. I had her throughout my massage, facial and nails which was nice so I didn't have to re introduce myself and get to know someone again. She was polite, very clean, soft spoken, listened to what I wanted, funny and made me really enjoy my spa experience. I don't do this kind of thing often but this experience has made me realize how lovely treating yourself can be. Thank you for making woman feel good about themselves! I got a group-on as a gift that included a full spa day, mani, pedi, massage and facial. It was absolutely wonderful! A wonderful woman named sapna took care of me and made my experience very relaxing! The relaxation massage was my favourite part!! I'm very disappointed in my latest experience. I came here back in 2017 for my Bachelorette party and we had a BLAST. We were treated so well, excellent pedicures and felt free to enjoy the celebration together. Which is why, I was so excited to come back. I purchased a Groupon for a mani/pedi/facial massage in Feb/2020. Then Covid hit and I had to wait until recently to use it (the Groupon was passed the expiry date but they were very good about still letting me use it) Obviously with Covid restrictions this did change the level of experience I was hoping for. But I went in with an open mind and not let any new rules and restrictions bother me. I was there to enjoy my spa day! I was the only client there the entire time, but my Esthetician was clearly in rush to have me in at out of there as fast as possible. Started out with the massage. The table was very uncomfortable. It rocked and teetered with most movements. Her massage was very mechanical and it felt rushed. When I flipped on to my back and the massage was all of sudden over, she began my facial. Again, everything was rushed with no purpose. The steamer literally was on my face for about 2 minutes). She had asked me if I had any concerns about the my skin. I said not really, just now that I am in my 30's I noticed my skin is very dry so any and all hydration is good. Well the mask she put on sat for far too long and left my skin feeling even more dry! Also, the music playing in the room was coming from the woman's phone. MULTIPLE times there was loud ding for an incoming text message/or email. Not once did she turn that function off. I found it very un professional. We finished, I dressed. We head upstairs for the Mani/Pedi. Again.. SO RUSHED! I brought my book and a lunch, looking forward to soaking my feet, listing to some nice music and reading. She started the water for me, I had my feet in the water for about 2 -3 min. She never left, just waited that short time and immediately asked for a foot to begin the service. I tried to still read and zone out a bit. Still trying to have an open mind and enjoy what I could. As I was trying to read and enjoy the foot massage I noticed she used lotion and oil on one foot, then when she went to the next foot, she ran out of lotion (I'm sure she thought I wasn't watching) and instead of getting up to get more lotion she just used oil on my last foot. Slapped on my polish and used NO TOP COAT! As soon as the pedicure was complete, without missing a beat I was asked to get out of the chair and move to the manicure table. No soaking of the hands. (she used a cuticle softener) She did a good job on my cuticles thankfully, my hands really needed it. She puts on the polish. NO TOP COAT AGAIN. She left me for about 5 minutes. As I look around, I see a bottle of top coat on the shelf next to me and plenty more lotion. She CHOSE to cut corners and not do those things for me to finish as fast as possible. Comes back up stairs and says "Ok, that is a fast dry polish you should be ready to go." No offer to let me sit and let them dry. THE SALON WAS EMPTY! No one else there except the receptionist. It was crystal clear I was being rushed out of there from start to finish. My nails were not were NOT dry. I wrecked 2 nails before I even got to my car. Why finish with the manicure? Especially when I was given no option to sit and let them dry. Usually manicures are done before or during the pedicure so there is lots of time to dry. I still tipped her as I did enjoy a few things she did, and especially that she wasn't phased by my planters warts on my feet. I really appreciated that she wasn't bothered by them. And as I said earlier, she did do a good job on my cuticles. All in all, I went home unfinished and had to complete it myself. Had to wash my face and load it with moisturizer. Had to put a top coat on to try to saver the color (which I love). I have NEVER had to go home and finish the job like that. So glad that my bridesmaids and I had a great experience in 2017. But I will never go back.

I was always convinced I had difficult hair that could never enjoy any fun colours but William Halabi and his staff have proved me wrong! The lounge is also beautifully appointed and boasts a well-curated selection of hair, beauty and jewelry products, which is perfect when you're waiting for your hair to finish processing. I always enjoy the spa at The Beauty Lounge!!!! (Haven't been there for hair before). The entire building is heritage and full of character. It has been re-stored beautifully! The estheticians are always friendly and do a fantastic job. Ask for Megan if you want a good laugh and chat. I have been getting my hair cut/colored by Flint for over a year now. I couldn't imagine ever going anywhere else ! I went in initially back in 2013 with dried out, frizzy, bleach blonde hair with no intentions of changing the color or style and after some convincing from Flint I now have longer, stronger and much healthier hair ( with no bleach). The Beauty Lounge is a modern, clean and friendly salon. I've always been greeted as soon as I walk through the door and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I used to think getting a hair cut was a chore but since finding the Beauty Lounge I look forward to every appointment.

The staff here provided me with the best customer service I've experienced in a salon. I went in last October to have my hair dyed as blonde as my hair would allow (my natural hair colour is black and it was dyed a dark red/violet prior to my appointment). The results exceeded my expectations without ruining the integrity of my hair. The sessions also happened all in one day -- eight hours. I didn't feel bored at all as it was fun talking to William and the rest of the hair stylists and getting to know them. And to top it all off, I was given a piece of pumpkin cheesecake during my session (Yum!).

Got the Groupon as a birthday present! My girlfriends and I went in a group of 3 and the girls who did our massage, facial and mani pedi's were so kind and so sweet. They really made the experience amazing. I absolutely would have given 5 stars except for the fact that we felt extremely rushed out at the end. Our nails hadn't even finished drying but we were made to grab our things and were told we could wait at the front while our nails finished drying, which was super awkward and kind of crappy. Otherwise it was a really good experience and I would recommend :)

Upon arriving the atmosphere was amazing we were welcomed by such a warm and joyful receptionist and Will (the owner) introduced himself with happiness. It felt like I’ve been coming here for years and the staff were all my friends even though it was our first time. The package deals are very well priced and definitely worth it. Like seriously worth it. Jaylene took care of my mother and all I can say is she did an amazing job from the massage to her pedicure and facial jaylene did absolutely amazing. I appreciate the staff here so much for taking care of my mother and making this gift worth it. She left relaxed, beautiful and with a big smile on her face. If you would have asked me three months ago if I liked the Beauty Lounge I probably would have said yes. I go there for laser hair removal treatments. I trusted Ada with my skin. The last time I was there, I was burned on my legs. Ada wanted to go over the thighs more than once to "get me the best result". It was a worse result. I now have pigmentation issues. The thing is, I have been to her before without burning. The day this happened Ada was visibly upset. She told me she had an argument with her boss (the owner) and she became more upset when I asked if she was studying to be an RN or LPN. I meant no harm by it, I was only curious. I called to talk to the owner to let him know about what had happened. He didn't even have the nerve to talk to me. Instead he sent his assistant to handle this by calling me. He should have handled an issue like this. Because he didn't, it appears that he doesn't care about the people paying money for treatments at his facility. He also told the assistant, who relayed the message to me, that white spots were "normal". Burning definitely isn't normal. He didn't even see the way my skin looks, but instead decided to give his two cents. I went in to show Ada my skin. Not only can I not have any more laser treatments because of a fault not of my own, but she extended her care and said to buy a dermal roller and bio oil and use the two in combination to help the appearance. She offered to pay for the dermal roller. She told me to send her the receipt and she would e-transfer me the money. I sent her the receipt, and she did not e-transfer me the money. It's not the money, its the principle. I paid a lot of money to have these sessions, and now I'm spending more money to try and fix a mistake that wasn't my own. If the team there had any remorse and business intellect, they would have made a gesture much better than promising to reimburse me for a dermal roller they didn't reimburse me for. How disappointing that I am left now to try and fix my skin. I am sad and worried. I would not recommend the Beauty Lounge to anyone for any treatment based off of the customer care I received, and that poor customer care stems all the way from the owner.

Hands down the best beauty lounge to deal with. I purchased a package for my girlfriend as an anniversary gift, they went above and beyond, and she had the best experience. Incredible people, awesome services and 5 Star service.

The receptionist service is awful.They only call one time to cancel appointment. If you missed the call, they didn't call second time. The owner said he would like to refund me the money because I was not satisfied with the service. However, with 199 dollars groupon for 12 month service I paid, the service still has 5.5 months left, the owner only wanted to refund 60 dollars. Do not recommend anyone go to that place. The owner of this store always was picky on me about the woman who didn't speak in English to pick up my call. She picked up the call and hanged it to me.Will only called me one time to talk about the refund and I didn't miss his call for talking about how much he wanted to refund. I don't why he was lying on this about 5 times calls to my phone.Their receptionist only called me one time and I missed it. Then no more calls to notify me about cancellation. In fact, I emailed the owner to ask how much he would refund me and no respond. Then I had to keep calling his store to seek for refund. Finally, he called me back ONLY ONE TIME and I answered that call. I don't understand why he always wanted to find excuse for his fault and poor team and poor service.For one year unlimited service, I don't understand why he wanted to calculate my refund with the frequency I visit the store. In other words, so-called unlimited one year service actually has "limited times" visit on it???Don't buy the groupon deals cuz their laser machine broke. What kinda of owner leads what kinda of team...Trust me, walk away all his stores....

I have been in love with Keratin treatments for as long as they've been around and as a woman of colour let's be real-not everyone knows how to handle ethnic hair. I've been to countless salons in this city and I can finally say I've found one here in Edmonton that not only has the expertise to carry out what they say they will, but they are accommodating, knowledgable and super friendly. William-the owner and master stylist did a consultation and he was actually so informative about my hair that I knew then that I was in good hands. William is hands down amazing and Flint and Katharine were super hands on in helping to get the process done in a timely manner. I never write reviews but this one had to get written. If you are looking for a salon in Edmonton look no further. It is a gorgeous salon with super positive energy flowing through. Thanks everyone at Beauty Lounge!

I love this salon and all the staff. I went in for a manicure and pedicure, cut and color. They mix up the color to compliment my skin tone and the cut accentuates my features. I've stopped telling them what I want and just let them work their magic. Each staff member is unique and so are their creations all the while protecting my hair and keeping it healthy. The manicure and pedicure were exemplary. When I walked out I felt like a million bucks. Thank you William and special staff.

I purchased the Groupon for the Relaxation massage with a custom facial and a mani-pedi. I was absolutely blown away by the elegant environment of the spa and how friendly all the staff were. In particular Gina who performed all of my services. She was so personable, friendly, and professional. Gina really wanted to make sure I enjoyed my services and I got my money’s worth. I also got 20% off any products I wanted to purchase after and scored an amazing gift set of Puff Me products which I love! Such an amazing deal as the set was already discounted! I will definitely be returning to the spa in the future :)

Went for their laser hair removal treatment and bought 6 sessions. My laser tech Alicia was fantastic, and the salon is beautiful. However, the laser seems to malfunction often which causes appointment cancellations. I am still waiting for my 3rd appointment which will need to be re booked for the 4th TIME IN A ROW because the technician had to take the day off. I was originally supposed to go on September 15th. Not super impressed.

I had an incredible experience at The Beauty Lounge. It started right at the door, being greeted by the friendly receptionist. I was a few minutes early so I sat for a minute and was offered a beverage. I had a tea, made fresh. I looked at the stylist decor and browsed products. My stylist (and the owner) Will, turned my dull red into radiance. The services (and head massage during my wash) were wonderful. I had great conversation with him and felt valued as a client. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and feel pampered.

I love this place! It’s a great location downtown and such a cute space to be in. After having so much of my hair fall out from at-home bleaching damage, Will and his team helped so much in bringing my hair back to life and giving me a cut that works for me. Went to the beauty lounge for the first time today for a full spa afternoon of a massage, facial, mani and pedi. I had an amazing experience. As soon as I got there is was greeted by the receptionist and owner. I parked on street so I asked if I could leave at the 2 hour mark to top up the meter. The owner was more concerned about my spa experience being interrupted that he had asked one of the staff to go out at the 2hr expiration and tac it onto my bill so I could enjoy maximum relaxation. My esthetician Cassandra was also amazing and friendly. I will definitely be back :)

I went to the salon for the first time to ask about the laser hair removal treatment. Ada the laser technician is absolutely sweet and professional. She took the time to answer all my questions and I decided to purchase a 6 treatment laser hair removal package. The salon it self is fabulous, super clean and organized, they have an awesome laser technician, friendly staff and the best price I could find in the city for the treatment I was looking for. I finished my first session and I couldn't be happier. I'm excited to see the complete results. Ada is absolutely kind, and competent. She made me feel very comfortable. I'm already recommending the salon to my friends.

Bought the Groupon for the mani, pedi, facial and massage. I need Saturday appointments, so it was several weeks before I could get an appointment. No big deal. When I arrived I saw Jessica first for my massage and facial. She was aces. Very professional and good at what she does. Mani and Pedi with Alicia went well but very slow. I don't fault her at all. She's only been doing it 6 months. It seems like there are very few long term employees there. I will say the quality of the polish is the worst I've ever had. I took the polish off my fingers the next day and the poish on my toes was basically ruined after I slept that night. Awful. I also thought it strange I had to pay the GST on the Groupon to use the services. I'm an avid Grouponer and have never had to pay taxes on one. Weird. Lastly, the girl at the front counter texted me during my service and say "Hey. This is so and so at reception. Can you come see me at the counter" I stop on my way out to see what she wanted and she asks if i got gel polish or not. Like I was trying to skip out on paying for it or something. Furthermore, get off your fanny and come up and ask the me or the technician. The whole thing was just long and weird.....

I purchased a Group On deal for the Beauty Lounge that included a massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. I had never been before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I'm happy to say that my experience was nothing but positive. I was greeted promptly when I entered and the front end staff were super friendly. I was offered tea, while they whisked my winter jacket away. I was happy I didn't have to drag this around with me. Gina greeted me promptly and was nothing but sweet and professional. She made sure (throughout all my services) to explain what she was going to do and making sure to answer any questions or clarify anything for me. The massage and facial were wonderful and relaxing. I'm also very happy with my manicure and pedicure. I asked Gina for some input into my colour choices for my manicure and she demonstrated what the colours would look like together on her own hands. It helped me to visualize what they would look like together. On my way out, William (the owner) made a point of stopping me and asking for my input regarding the services I'd received. I thought this was nice to actually speak directly with the owner and for him to introduce himself to me. He also let me know that they offer in-house deals that are often better than the Group On deals. Overall, a very positive experience. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to try something new! And will definitely be returning sometime in the future!

I was at the Beauty Lounge today for a 60-min. relaxation massage that I received from a friend as a gift. Jessica was my masseuse and she was fantastic - extremely friendly and she did occasional check-ins to see if I was comfortable or if the pressure was too much. I definitely felt relaxed afterwards. The receptionists also treated me like a valued client. I loved the atmosphere and the experience! Thank you :)

The service and the attention to detail was excellent. I booked a short notice appointment. Carley was my Hair Stylist. Very professional, talented and demonstrated very good listening skills. I was very satisfied with my haircut. To top it up, I received a gift certificate for $25 to be used for my next visit. Doesn't expire until March 2013. The price for the service was in line with what I would like to spend for the service I received. I will go again when I come through Edmonton.

Got the Groupon spa package- massage, facial, mani and pedi for an amazing price. Added on eyebrow threading and tinting. Sapna is a true pro. So relaxing for the facial and massage (very skillful masseuse) and beautiful results for the pedicure and eyebrows. My eyebrows are gorgeous! Highly recommend.

Exceptional! If relaxing is what you want this is what you get. 1/2 hour of each - pedicure, facial and massage made a super pampering experience. The products smelled wonderful and enhance each beauty treatment. The decor and surroundings in the rooms made you feel like you were at a resort. Away from all the stress and unplugged. Bring a friend and have that shared woman's spa day experience, I did. A "must go again".

Here is my email to the owner - i sent this through my gmail account and their website. NO RESPONSE. I would never return to this shop. Also - the walls are riddled with dirt and spills. The bathroom and upstairs beside the pedicure baths, filthy. I didn't want to push too much in my email about that since i was asking for a refund. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Will, (i got a bounce back - i think it is because there were too many pictures - i will send them one at a time) You and i spoke a week or so ago in regards to coming in to received the signature mani/pedi offer that you had advertised on Groupon. I gave you the option for me to purchase direct from you for $69 or buy through Groupon, you chose for me to pay direct. Which i was fine with. We made an appointment for 245 on Saturday (yesterday) I came in and was greeted by (i omitted the girls name) - who upon going upstairs said that i needed to have my pedicure done first since the 2 other ladies took the 2 mani chairs. So we started off getting the pedicure done. I wanted designs on my big toes - couldn't happen since there were no proper brushes/nail polish to be able to do this. So that was something i always get when getting pedicures - however not at your salon. Then we went over to the mani station. In an out quick. Unfortunately - we finished at 515 and since you close at 5, i had to leave right away. While trying to pay - 1 nail was ruined. While getting into my car 2 more ruined. Now, if you pass all that - most of my nails are bubbled out. Some nail polish on my skin, they look absolutely terrible. I was too embarrassed and in a rush as the store was closing to say something. I would appreciate my money returned. I have pictures attached to show the bubbling and the dirt left on my toes. I am too embarrassed to come and get it done again at your shop, nor should i have to. I live in the Hamptons and downtown is completely out of my way. I have to use more time getting them redone, completely inconveniencing me. (i omitted the girls name) is such a sweet girl. The conversation was pleasant - we are both from back east and got along well, laughing the whole time. I hope she does not get into trouble for this. I would like the $69 + taxes back for the mess that i will have to go to another salon to fix.

The receptionist is bad. I confirmed my appt today at noon. She told me the wrong time which cause me late of my appt. Then she cancelled it due to the late. And she is arrogant. I received nothing from this beauty lounge while she said she called me yesterday. It takes me 35 mins drive from the southside to downtown, but because her, I did nothing and drive back home. It's not the first time I do my spa here. I like the one who serve me, but I am so mad with the reception.

These are the results I've been waiting to see! I've been to a couple different spas and salons to get laser hair removal done, but this experience I have to say was the best. The one girl Ada was so professional and kind, she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. And she was really fast! I noticed results immediately after my first session. I went to The Beauty Lounge for the first time today. First of all, the salon is so beautiful, and the staff is wonderful. I had my first ever session of microdermabrasion which was done by Jessica. She was so sweet and super knowledgeable. I honestly wasn't expecting to see a difference afterwards, but I definitely did. My face was soft and glowy. Cannot wait to go back!!

Groupon is NOT worth double the price or even HALF price as they say. You do NOT get the same services for what they say is the reg price. Groupon says to tip based on regular prices but seeing as you don't GET the same services, why would one do that? Massage - very smelly fruity oils and I'm not overly scent sensitive) finally got some sort of really greasy non scented one. Very light rubbing on back of legs did betteron back, also they don't do the entire body. You have to PAY for the 60 min massage they say Well what did I buy with the groupon? a 60 min massage... why the diff? Also this person does not appear to have been trained in massages. Facial - no choice in products or services, even when I specified what my expectations were. alAgain no massage... that's with the "PAID" facial. Pedi - extremely short massage about 1 min each leg. You come FOR the massage with a pedi. Didn't ask why i imagine would be same answer....cause I really didn't PAY for it Mani - again shorter massage, needed to clean up the cuticles a bit better but can live with it Worst part was trying to pass off that bottle of nail polish as good. It came on thick and gooey. Looked horrible, went with clear nail polish after she advised I could come in next week for a re-polish. Why would I want to drive all the way DT, pay for parking just so you could do a polish that should have been done right the first time? The negatives: Parking expensive esp during the week day - a common issue I imagine. Lots of beauty products for sale at front. Very few pple in the salon not busy on a Thursday aft. That should be one's first clue I guess. Services on 3 floors; down to the basement for the first part then way top floor for other part. Too noisy from hair dryer beauty salon I came to relax and not listen to a blow dryer. Some positives: Person (name? ) very nice & tried hard. Nice job with the foot polish. Offered water, etc & was very pleasant. Bottom line .. would not come back for above reasons and would NOT recommend the groupon as it's NOT for the real services you would get if you paid for them. I thought the idea of a groupon would be to try out the services so you know if you want to come back. I was on the lookout for a new spa and if they would have impressed me, they could have had a client. There's no value to the groupon You are more than "paying" for what you get done. Can't fault the person for that but the company ...yes. Which is too bad cause I go often. Vanessa calls me on my way home and offers a discount for future services. Declined as why would I want to invest any more money in a place with poor service?

Ok, so I cant figure out how to write a second review, so I'm adding to my first review. I saw Will Habib for another hair style. As he promised, the regrowth in of my hair would blend in beautifully with the color he applied back in late July. I have gotten 3 months of fantastic color that has blended in with my natural hair color growth. VaIue and style absolutely! This time go around I gave Will an idea of what I wanted for style, and he surpassed my expectations again. He added in a few wonderful touches that made my day!! His creativity and skill are proven to me. The compliments from friends and strangers are many! I know that when I go for my next visit for a new color I will not be dissapointed. I would recommend Will to all my friends if they want to get a style that will make them feel like a million dollars!! I visited the Beauty Lounge for the first time a few weeks ago. From the point of first contact scheduling my appointment on the telephone, I felt valued and satisfied. I appreciated the honesty and tact that Will had during my color and cut consultation. After all was said and done I left the salon with a completely different color and style suggested by Will.....end result was I was extremely delighted, and I get numerous compliments from friends and strangers on my new hair color and cut. I would definitely recommend Will to any of my friends, and will return for my future hair styling needs.

The Beauty lounge is very much a different salon experience. This is an entirely good thing. There is a legitimately relaxed atmosphere, in spite of it being hackneyed to say. The customer service here is superb and the proprietor, Will, possesses a rare talant for his craft. I have been getting my hair cut by Will for years, and will continue to so long as his skills are available.
