Very over priced for what you get. The rooms are very old and out of date. The AC was a stand alone unit that sounded like a jet all night long. We had a fridge that would almost fall over if you tried to use it. It is also at the beginning of the town so it's far to walk for a tour. I would not stay here again.

I have stayed at Marmot Lodge multiple times for quick little weekend getaways. Because of COVID, we were told the minimum night stay was 3 night (not sure if this was a lie or not) so we stayed 3 nights. The front staff were friendly, the rooms were clean. Although by the 3rd night the beds started to kind of suck and I couldn't wait to be home. I will stay here again since it's always my go to place even though the beds are hard lol

After everything in Jasper was fully booked we had to settle for the Marmot Lodge. Over priced for what you get. Friendly front staff however we were disappointed that there was no effort to give out a breakfast of some sort even with COVID-19 being an issue. A lot of other hotels have come up with innovative ways to make complimentary breakfast work during the pandemic. Overall it was decent and clean. We would probably stay again ????‍♀️

Stayed in room 252, which was right above the laundry room. The sound of laundry machine running was very loud even late at night, it was hard to sleep. AC is in the window that makes a lot of noise. The first thing I noticed was the moldy smell and it didn’t feel healthy. This is not a 3 star hotel, should be listed as an inn and it is expensive for what it is. The sink was awkwardly placed right beside the bed and not in the washroom. It was a very uncomfortable stay and I wanted to leave as soon as possible. The only reason for the two stars is for the staff who were very accommodating. Needs a major renovation. If I visit Jasper next time, I will just book an inn in downtown.

We are on our last night of a 3 night stay. It was not what we expected, but let's start with the good. The bedroom in the Kitchen Suite was comfortable and updated. The bathroom and kitchen had also been updated not too long ago. The TVs were a nice size. Now for the rest. The couch and chair in the living room were quite uncomfortable as you sink way down in them. They also had some stains on them. The "cozy" fireplace only had an On/Off switch. The flame was feeble and it made an annoying hissing sound when turned on. However, by far the worst was the equipment in the kitchen. We paid extra to get the Kitchen Suite for our 3 night stay as a) we like to save some money by not having to eat out all of the time; and b) we enjoy cooking. Choosing the Kitchen Suite was a waste of money for us. No baking dishes (unless you want to count the tiny broiling pan from the oven, wrapped in tinfoil. What's up with that?). The pots were poor quality with loose handles. And they were dirty. One cheap, flimsy knife. I had to use the knife in my multitool to cut yams as it was impossible with the one provided. Have you ever tried to slice yams with a multitool knife? Not fun. And to top it all off, disposable plates and eating utensils. That was very disappointing. In a place known for its nature and natural environment to find a hotel advertising a kitchen that then provides you with disposable plates and utensils? Also on the environmental side, the coffee machine was a Keurig, another terrible choice. One final note, during the 3 days we have been here, Housekeeping has never once asked us if we wanted anything done to our room. For a stay this short, we usually do not ask that our towels and bedding be replaced, but it would have been nice to have some vacuuming done at the very least. We love Jasper and come here as much as we can. But this will be the last time we choose Marmot Lodge.

Not the cleanest room I have seen (stains on one of the throw pillow, another couple on the shower curtain). The rooms have a thermostat but it seems not have worked at all. They have a nice hot tub, sauna and pool which are great after a hike!
