There must have been a change in ownership recently as I do not recognize the experience I recently had here wit the glowing reviews posted below. Very poor service, indifferent staff. Overall a big disappointment especially for the price. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere

I’m a hard person to impress when it comes to services like this. I judge cleanliness, service, atmosphere, etc. This is the first time I was so much more than pleased with my pedicure and the outstanding service. I received the best and most relaxing pedicure from Vanessa. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to pamper them self. Worth every penny.

I called in because I needed a last minute nail appointment. I had two ladies do my nails. They were both very kind and excellent at their job. I can be quite picky about my nails, but I have no complaints! This is a great place to treat yourself. With that being said, it is PRICEY. I was shocked when I cashed out (costed three to four times more than what I usually pay for the same manicure elsewhere), however I guess you are paying for the experience and precision. I have no complaints, other than the ladies behind cash were a bit rude once I had paid. Would recommend if you're not on a budget.

My polish was applied too thinly, it looked uneven and started peeling the next day. tTh greeter even commented that they were not done properly. Anyway, no offer to redo them or anything. I got them redone at another salon a couple days later. Not worth it.

My experience with Dan has been nothing but great! From the beginning he made me feel comfortable and took the time to understand what my concerns were. I like that he takes a conservative approach to treatment so that you end up with a natural look that you will no doubt be happy with! Gracious is a word that can be used for their pedicure salon, but not for waxing. As a walk-in on a rainy Wednesday I was glad some one was there. The waxing was clean and efficient. The smaller details of graciousness were absent. Never meeting eyes, no smile, no holding the door for the customer, cleaning her station and herself before the client was able to get off the table and dress, all in silence. If you want a wax job, its ok. If you want to feel part of a pretty world with friendly people, this is not your place

Recently received a gift certificate for a spa manicure from Third Avenue Spa, so I gave it a shot. Katie was very nice and knew what she was doing but the spa did not have nail dryers so I had to sit for a 45min only for them to smudge anyway. The gift certificate was purchased two weeks ago yet when using it I was told there had been a price increase so I had to pay the difference? one of the worst spa experiences I've had and definitely not worth the price, would not recommend.

After trying several, finally in 2008 following foot surgery, Third Avenue Spa was recommended by a podiatric assistant who suggested that I have regular pedicures administered by professionals. And with that I found my home and my feet have never been happier! The team, headed by Patricia, is brilliant, competent, friendly, and after so many years, it feels like family. I have had most services – pedicures, manicures, facials, waxing, etc. and would not consider going elsewhere for my monthly treatments. From Beth, my wonderful aesthetician to Jasminka, massage therapist extraordinaire, they are the best!

-If you’re interested in thread lifts, Danesthetics Medical is the best! I recently had thread lifting for my laugh lines and I love the results! It’s exactly what I wanted and then some! From the moment my friend and I walked in we were greeted with warmth. We were offered tea before our appointments. We started off with a massage each (mine was a Reikki [very spiritual and highly recommend!] and hers was regular). It made us both relaxed before our next part. We then had a mani-pedi while we enjoyed a charcuterie board and a glass of wine. Our nails were perfection, and we are still laughing about the conversations we had at the spa a week ago. The staff were very warm, and always had a smile on their face. While the prices are a little high for a mani-pedi the service makes up for it ten-fold. Highly recommend!!

What a disappointment. Poor service and sky high prices. I had decided to treat myself and went all out. Sparing no expense, I expected a real Spa experience that I was promised. Instead, I received mediocre services. Make no mistake, this is not a Spa but just a pretentious beauty parlour.

He is patient and will genuinely give you advice and make you feel comfortable by explaining all the details to you. I am satisfied with the service and I won’t hesitate in going again. I was visiting from Toronto and my mum and I decided to get a pedicure together. She took me to this spa and I was lucky enough to have Natalie do my pedicure. Not only is Natalie super friendly and warm, she gave me the best pedicure I have ever had by a landslide (like literally 3x as good as second place!). She’s diligent, professional, detail oriented, and doesn’t rush at all. And you get to spend your time with a lovely person :) I wish I lived in Ottawa so I could go back again! I had a visit to Third Avenue Spa last week. I was greeted at the door by a friendly face ( although half hidden behind a mask), had my temperature taken, answered an in-depth questionnaire and used hand sanitizer. The manicure, pedicure and waxing services were, as usual, second to none. The manicure and pedicure stations are more than adequately distanced and disinfected fully between clients. I was required to wear a mask throughout my visit. Congratulations to Patricia for transforming this beautiful space into a perfectly safe and yet still very friendly Covid zone. I have been coming here for over 20 years and have never once been disappointed in the service.
