The staff are wonderful! Great atmosphere! Welcoming, friendly and relaxing. The service is excellent and personalized from the esthetics to the front desk! I feel well taken care of every time I go. They also have a great selection of products and there are monthly deals to benefit from! I have been going for 10 years and don't plan on going anywhere else!

My skin is pretty average, no special concerns, so I've never put much time or thought into a skincare routine. I have never had a facial or done any treatments. However I've noticed this past year that my skin was becoming flaky and also small fine lines were appearing, so I thought maybe it was time to do something. Meta was recommended to me by my hair stylist whom I love and trust, so I thought I would give them a visit. My first visit was a consultation, and both Emilie and Danielle met with me. They are lovely, knowledgeable and made me feel very excited! They recommended a facial with microdermabrasion which I did yesterday with Emilie on my second visit. The whole experience was painless and I was very pampered. Today my skin is truly glowing! (It's not a cliché!) Their studio is beautiful and serene. You can tell from the way they take care of you and their studio that they really take pride in what they do. Very happy to have found them, I will be back!! Thank you Emilie!

This place is beyond what you would expect from an esthetique's salon. They deal with much more than you're average pedicure. They deal with aging skin and lazer hair removal. Their professionals could not know more what they are doing. Love the service there. It's such a personal experience to have you're own esthetician. Esthetiques continues to evolve with new procedures that have advanced beyond basic skin care and facials. Danielle is passisionate and has continued to evolve and train to a level of clinical esthetiques. The environment is unique as it is in a renovated church, the atmosphere is very relaxing. I went for my first facial at Meta Esthétique this week, with Emilie. The facial was absolutely amazing and left my face glowing, feeling fresh and rejuvenated. Emilie used microdermabrasion and infusion methods which permitted all serums to penetrate my skin after she had performed the microdermabrasion technique. There are many other amazing techniques that she used which I had never experienced before. It was a great experience. She was very knowledgeable and explained to me what she was doing as she was working on my face. I am still glowing after a few days. I already cant wait to go back. Thank you, Emilie.

I first met Danielle more than 35 years ago, shortly after she had established her business, Meta Esthetique, in a small room in the Delta Hotel. I had recently moved to Ottawa from northern Quebec, where the sub-arctic winds can quickly damage the skin, leaving a woman (or man) with a face that looks much older than it really is. I did not want this to happen to me. I heard about Meta from a sales person in the cosmetic department in the Bay. I went there, and Danielle took care of me. It was my first facial. It was wonderful. Later, as her business grew, Danielle relocated to an old church on Lyon St. The studio is spacious and tastefully decorated. Upon entering it, one is enveloped by a feeling of tranquility. After 35 years, Danielle has come to know my skin quite well, and I trust her completely to decide on the best course of treatment. She knows what she is doing. Many people comment that I look much younger than I really am. Meta provides more than just facials. Danielle keeps up with the latest developments in skin care treatment, and introduces new services and products from time to time. I love the Swiss Line skin care products that she carries. Manicures and pedicures are two popular treatments. Even my husband has a manicure from time to time. I am glad that I met Danielle all those years ago.
