I had a Shellac Manicure and Pedicure done by Fifi today and I love it! The staff was really friendly, they have a large selection of colours to choose from and the price was very reasonable. Fifi made it look so easy, I was shocked at how she is able to paint my nails so quickly and perfectly. When I do my own nails the polish ends up on my wrists, face and basically anywhere else except my fingernails. It also takes me a good 20 minuets to do a single nail, needless to say my days of doing my own polish are long gone and I will leave it to the professionals. I will definitely be bringing my business back to this Nail Spa ! Thanks again!

Great service and cute little salon in downtown Ottawa. My nails look amazing after my shellac manicure. The first girl who did my nails was very thorough but slow, however the second girl took over and did them so well and perfectly. The only bad thing was a friend of mine didn't realize her gel and polish was going to cost more than what the girl quoted her for, otherwise her nails looked great too. Would go back.

This place is fantastic, best spa I've ever seen in Ottawa, their pedicure is amazing, their polish dry fast and they have a brand new polish do not need to put on base coat. The servers are so sweet, define worth to come back.

Worst experience ever. Got my nails done from here and paid a lot($85) but they chipped off in less than a week. Now I’m left with bad looking nails. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The staff was very arrogant as well. Please do not go.

I personally think this salon is over priced. I was charged almost $80 + tip for shellac polish and press on nails... I’ve never paid this in my life for a simple polish and not even acrylics. The website stated they offer acrylics and gel+ tips for the same price ($65) but was told it was $70 plus $15 for shellac. The nails look nice, but this is because I’m very picky and asked her to adjust some of my nails.

I found this nail spa about 3 weeks ago, it is very cozy, bright, and clean inside! Before this, I went to a nail salon which also near downtown and showed them this nail designs, they just rejected me within 5 seconds, cry...... Fortunately, I finally did my Sailor Moon nails!The girl who did the design for me is so patient and skillful. The most incredible thing is the shellac and decorations are still staying on my nail after 3 weeks! It is the longest lasting manicure I have ever had! Thank you for such amazing Sailor Moon nail designs! Definitely highly recommended!

I had researched quite a bit to ensure I picked a top Nail Spa for my daughters 18th Bday & a few of her friends. The work itself was inconsistent Some gels were excellent while a couple were thick and bumpy. They did do a free nail decal which she said was very well drawn Unfortunately she is in discomfort today with quite a few little cuts around her cuticles but the one cut done by a nail file is quite painful. I feel no matter the condition of some peoples cuticles a customer should never experience pain during or the next day from having gel nails. For this reason I give only 2 stars. So disappointed to know I spent over $200 and this was anything but a relaxing experience for her I will make mention her friends all had Shellac manicures and we're all pleased and did not experience any issues with their technicians (Response to owner)..... I never once said you over charged what I said was I was disappointed that after spending $230 my daughter didn't find it relaxing. She bled quite a bit. 2ndly I did make mention that her friends were pleased as for my daughter she didn't want to complain cuz it was her Bday and she didn't want to turn her day negative. Just by your response I see I chose the wrong place and will not use your services in the future I do suggest you work on your customer service It's Shame you just don't get that

Got a French Tip Manicure. The job was really well done she was able to make the tip as wide as I asked for. The hand massage at the end was great. but should be for all costumers. My friend just got regular painted nails but no hand massage. Took a good amount of time. Didn't feel rushed. The space is well kept very clean.

When in this evening at 1750 to do my nails and was told the couldn't cause they were soon closing. There closing hours on Sunday is 1900 but one of the worker said they have to close earlier today because it is raining. I wonder if they are going to be open at all during winter???? Make sure to call if it is a windy days????????

They don't have any idea what the pedicure is. No pedi care at all. No massage just a rough cream application. Literally Paid 70 dollars just to change my polish. Cat's eye cover looks like a couple of sparkles though they charge an extra for that.

This is my favourite spot in the city for a shellac manicure. They are so reasonable in terms of price and I've certainly paid more other spots for a lesser experience. My manocurist today took her time and dis a super thorough job which is important for me - I'm a bartender and my nails chip almost immediately if the job isn't done right. I think her name was Numa? Highly recommend her.

So this is from a while back (Dec. 21st, 2019), but I believe it is worth sharing. I wrote the following email after my appointment saying I was disappointed with the service I had received and I never got any type of acknowledgement from them. It's quite sad as I loved the fact that they offered the full gel nail service I was looking for and never quite found again. ------------------------------------------------------- I got a gel refill done today at 11 am and I am so disappointed with the service I received. The gel part was done well and professionally but then came the shellac which I had brought myself (OPI). It's not the first time I do so. I'm wondering why it seemed so complicated this time. First, I would like to mention that Ailee (whom I prefer and always request but rarely get) told me on more than one occasion that a base coat is not necessary with gel, yet Fifi and others say that it is required. Second, this time, after adding two coats of polish, Fifi was surprised that the colour was bleeding a bit when putting the topcoat. I told her this was normal with OPI, not to worry, but she still touched every nail then decided to buff some and reapply a third coat of the polish. A third coat of colour makes the colour darker which I did not want. Then, by adding additional coats of topcoat, buffing, etc. it was becoming a nightmare. I asked if they (because now there were two girls) worked with OPI before. They replied yes yes, yet were not listening to what I was saying. I asked the girls to buff my nails so we could start from scratch with the colour. Again they said yes yes, but this is not what was done. Only the top was buffed, then they put alcohol and then applied their own topcoat. I was always told not to mix and match different polish brands as they may not adhere well to one another. Now, my nails are much darker than I wanted, there is a small bubble that formed between all the layers on one nail (I counted 6 coats on one finger) and my nails look thick with polish. I am leaving tomorrow for a Christmas trip so I do not have the time to have them redone somewhere else. And, to add insult to injury, I was charged the whole amount upon leaving. After what I was put through, I think a bit of a discount should have been given. I will find another spa to have the gel taken off in January, but I am quite sad because every time I had Ailee, I absolutely loved her and my nails were perfect for weeks.

We had an emergency when my girlfriend's gel nail was broken and needed to be replaced ASAP. It's around 17:45 and so we call if it's possible to fix it and if we can arrive in 40 minutes. The Asian lady said yes, but as it turns out they close at 18h. We basically wasted 40 minutes walking there to be greeted by closed doors and a hurting nail.

my friend and I both got nail extensions (hers regular, mine the bio gel) and they chipped for both of us the same day we got them done. Very very disappointing as she paid $55 before tax and tip and I paid $60. We do not recommend this place at all!

SIS2 got pretty good reviews and my nails needed to be done badly so I popped in without an appointment. The salon itself is very cute and I was happy to be in there. Very refreshing because most nail salons are the exact same, void of any ambience. All the decor was nice and even the nail stations themselves had cute lamps and chairs. They did charge an additional $10 to have my old shellac removed in order to put on new shellac which is silly. Most nail salons do not charge as it is sort of a standard procedure when you get your nails done. Anyways I agree with one of the reviewers above, the technicians do need a but more training. The woman doing my nails filed them forever and they are totally wonky. The color looks nice and I am happy with it so far however I am nervous about the quality as it is one of the thinnest shellac manicures I have ever had! Time will tell if I'll be back!

After going back a second time to fix the nails I wouldn't recommend going here because the work was not consistent. The technicians are nice but the work requires more training. I was told it was dry and could leave yet this nail was not dry and definately does not look like the other nails.

I went on a Saturday afternoon, as my local nail salon was closed due to the severe power outage. Sis2 was the closest and unaffected nail salon to my condo. I paid $113 for a shellac manicure and pedicure (of which $20 was charged for the removal of my local nail salon's shellac on both hands and feet, I did not have issue with this), this was tax inclusive. I tipped an additional 15% on that value ($17)- which was frankly for my nail technician's service as she was polite, courteous and professional during my entire experience, and she seemed to be the only technician with that mentality. The other technicians who did not have clients during my appointment were on their phones and playing videos loudly - I found this to be slightly unprofessional, and not what I expected for a downtown nail salon right on Clarence in the heart of the Market. After a week, my index and middle fingers' shellac on both hands started to peel. I would like to think this is a direct result of poor quality shellac product and not the technician's faulty application. I would expect that my shellac should last no less than 2 weeks, and have had this service done often enough to understand that expectation is reasonable. All to say, I would not return, unless another a natural disaster occurs.

I went with my sister, i did manicure and she did pedicure. I love my technician Crystal, she was very patient and skillful, always making sure i was comfortable. It's been almost 2 weeks now and they still look amazing. The only reason why i gave a four stars is because the pedicure on my sister's looks bad, they were not very evenly applied and one of them smashed on the second day, didn't last longer than a week. She was not happy with the result and rejected to go back because a cheaper and less nice looking place we had been before did a better job than here. She got a different technician so i guess it's a hit or miss.

I got the bio gel nails 4 days ago and one of them broke and the other completely fell off !! The finishing of my nails is really bad and they don’t all match in shape. Completely waste of 70$. They do not have experience when it comes to artificial nails. First and last time going there.

Quite possibly the worst nail experience. Firstly, my nail technician was too rough on my cuticles which resulted in me bleeding, not once, not twice, but 5 times. Even more troubling I did not see proper care of the tools. The tools used with my blood on them were simply wiped down with tissue and placed back in the bin and were then used on the client next to me. Secondly, at first my nail tech was very nice and chatty, however, once I paid (they make you pay mid application) she became increasingly rude and annoyed. Due to her desire to rush me out, this resulted in poor application of the nail polish. My nails were smudged a couple of times - instead of being apologetic, the nail technicians spoke to one another in Mandarin complaining about the situation and tried to rush me out. No clean up was done, my cuticles were dry and bloody, and some of my nails were STILL smudged and I had a wedding to attend to the next day. I would never recommend this place. Worst $80 ever spent.

There is only one concern, they have too many selections and colors. You need to spend some time just to choose the right colors;). They deserve more than 5 stars!!!

Worst worst nail salon ever. It was a nail salon that me and my friends chose after after long debating but we totally failed. It's been a little over a week since i got the gel nails service and more than half of them are peeled off already. Durability is extremely poor. My friends who got the pedicure service even had a wound on her foot. For a service that costs $60, the quality is not as good as that of a $30 service. If you get 30-minute massage service at other nail salon, here is less than 10 minutes. If you are notbsurr where to go for your nail getting done, I highly recommend that you never choose this nail salon.

I have been getting my nails done here for the past 3times and this was the first time ever to encounter such an experience. I feel like the service in which handling customers is lacking. Whenever I came it used to be extremely well done and the results beyond expectation. It hurts to think that I will find it difficult to go back here after having to remove my nails completely immediately after getting them done. I had no issues whatsoever the first few times I got my nails done, and since i have been here several times i would have expected them to appreciate coming back each time. I got both my nails and toes done here. I had no problem in any aspect whilst getting my toes done as the lady was extremely friendly and cared in everyway. However, when getting my nails done, the lady had to keep redoing my nail as the result was not as expected. Additionally when removing my old nail art and forming the shape of my nails, she was quite rough and hurt my fingers between my nail and the skin. The lady started showing fustration and in the end acted as if she just wanted to get it over and done with. She was very nice but from my experience lacked professional. After I went home, the shellac nail polish immediately started to peel off and one could see the thick glue applied to my jewels. All my nails wer incomsistant and had bumps in between. I went back to get this fixed but no one apoloized for anything as if nothing wrong was done to me. Everyone in the shop came to see my nails but did no one explain to me what will happen, what went wrong or what they could do for me. After having to go through all the trouble to come back and not be met in a business to customer manner all I wanted was for it to be removed. I believe a manager at a shop is there to handle such situations and never have I ever been treated like this after coming several times. It is a pity to be have been recommending this shop to all my friends without even imagining to be treated like this. It really hurts my feelings. Even when i got everything removed no one explained anything to me nor was there any apology given. All I wanted was for an apology but I guess this was too much to ask for. I have never complained on a google review but I thought this had to be done to reach out to sis2nails at least in this way.

Overpriced, slow and poor craftsmanship. I'm not a complainer but if you are running a professional nail salon you should not put a worker who is inexperienced out to "experiment" on a paying customers hands. For a refill and shellac polish I was charged $67+tip. It took 2 hours and 10 minutes to complete the fill. The employee spoke to the ladies around her in their language a lot. I thought that was rude for a "high end" salon, it made me feel uncomfortable. The other ladies watched and coached her when she did something wrong. I did not pay a "training" price and i don't appreciate being a guinea pig when I am looking for a relaxing experience. The spa is clean, but it is not hygienic. When I returned from washing my hands I saw the worker filing and clipping her own nails with the tools she was using on my hands. I did not see her disinfect or put it in the autoclave machine. I'm sincerely disappointed and I would suggest to go somewhere that your time and money is valued. My advice to the salon is to ensure your service is always reflected in your price. I have no problem spending a bit more to do my nails but the service and value have to be a bit more as well to justify the cost. I would not return to this salon nor would I recommend it.

Just got my nails done there today. It was a pretty good experience, she was gentle everything was clean and she made sure it was done properly. They have a good selection of colours to choose from. The interior is very cute, clean and well decorated. I gave it 4/5 stars because the nails were definitely pricey (95$+tip). Also, the nail polish was a little sheer and streaky and took multiple coats (but that wasn’t her fault she really did try her best). Lastly, it took A LONG time, I’m used to about an hour I was there for about two hours and it was so quiet there was no music an it made it .. awkward I guess. In all good experience, thank you !!! :)

Mediocre pedicures...brought my boyfriend on my birthday and it was so disappointing. They barely pumiced our feet (almost no pressure and lasted less than 2 mins) and left tons of callous on our feet. Massage was minimal. My technician didn't even use a base coat...my polish has lasted less about 5 days. I wouldn't bother returning.

I don't recommand this place. The qualifty of the manicure is really low (I have little bubbles on certain nails), she hurst one of my finger (see the picture). She left without saying anything to me while my nails were drying and I didn't see her before I left .. (they make you pay before they apply the polish). And also the price they have on their website is not accurate: it's 5 dollars more. Really, you can find better!

I was on holiday staying at the Novotel hotel on Nicholas Street & desperately wanted to have my European acrylic tips removed as they were looking very shabby. After reading some scarey reviews of all the Nail spas close to my hotel I decided to visit SIS2, which was an 8-10 minute walk. I went early (10a.m.) without making an appointment and was lucky to be seen straight away, it got busy after I arrived. Everything seemed to be clean & fresh in a light & airy salon space. The array of products & manicures available is exstensive. The nail technician who helped me was friendly & professional, she was very patient & very careful removing my tips manually rather than soaking them in chemicals. I finished with a shellac manicure which is beautiful. It took quite a while (80-90 mins) but really worth it. There were no surprises as we agreed the price beforehand. Overall a nice relaxing visit, very pleasant staff so I definitely recommend this place.

The worst pedicure ever. Ever. The worst. They have no idea how to do a pedicure. None. When it came to the polish they add so much thinner that it drips off of your nails and can’t dryand then it starts to peal off. Less than 24 hours later both my friend and I have less than half of the polish on our toes and the rest is a red, smeared mess. The owner is impossible to deal with. This is a very high rent location. They don’t have much polish to choose from and they don’t have the basic tools to do a pedicure. The place was almost empty. A legit business or a front?

Don’t be fooled by the location or the aesthetics of this place! I had a bad experience with this place because they were just did not have the skill and the quality of work was poor but I decided to give them another chance hoping I would get a better person next time. But the girl who did my pedicure was so inexperienced and her skill level was soo low it was frustrating to sit through the whole manicure. She didn’t even know to scrub my feet let alone remove the dead skin. And even though the owners could see she was struggling and she asked for help, no one would come to take over the job. Very unprofessional. They ought to make sure their trainees are well trained before letting them start on customers who’re paying good money. Terrible experience. NEVER COMING BACK.
