Friendly service but only in English (!). Total cost of 17.25$ for 5-minute brows... I find that expensive. No pre-cleaning or post-brushing off the eyebrows. At least they were well done, I have to say.

There were two ladies there and I looked ALL OVER Gatineau and Ottawa for a decent threading place. I cant emphasize how much I LOVED her work! I was a little skeptical of the 5 stars, but I couldn’t wait to write a review. She was super quick, but a PERFECTIONIST. She even had me under the light to make sure they were PERFECTLY even and she didn’t miss any hairs. Never had anyone do that before and I’ve been to a ton of places. The place is close to home and I honestly am so in love! ???????????? love it even more than the place I went to for over 3 years!

I would not get an eyelash tint here, I am questioning the cleanliness of the tools used and the aesthetician left the product on for far too long (she was serving other customers). The product stayed on for double the time it usually stays on at the salon I usually go to and it really burned my eyes. After the aesthetician took a damp tissue to wipe the tint away, she told me to open my eyes and she put a tissue ON my eyeball... it was not a mistake as she did it on the other eye too. Overall poor experience, very uncomfortable and unhygienic.. I went there to save money which I did and the result was good despite everything so I guess there's that.

I got a Brazilian at Rose Épilation au fil yesterday (June 2nd) and walked away almost in tears. Although the aesthetician was a sweet girl, she was not confident/comfortable in performing this service and ended up severely cutting the most sensitive area of my flower... Needless to say, it was my first and will absolutely be my last Brazilian at this facility. The situation was handled in a very unprofessional and upsetting manner, I left feeling vulnerable, exposed, and uncomfortable both physically and emotionally. I am writing this review because I do not want what happened to me to happen to anyone else. Management at Rose Épilation au fil must ensure that the staff they have performing these services are well trained and confident in their work. It is one thing to be polite, but at the end of the day that does not make up for leaving customers in severe pain and bleeding profusely - and then making them pay full price for the service... Please reconsider receiving bikini or Brazilian waxes from here.

I think this business pays google for good bot reviews. I booked a massage and I don't think the staff realized I understand both Hindi and Arabic. So when I walked in, they started laughing and saying "you do it/ no you're doing it" assuming I wouldn't understand. Already very unprofessional. Don't assume the colour of someone's skin means they don't speak other languages. An extremely awkward, and uncomfortable experience. Complete silence, someone WALKED IN THE ROOM while the massage was happening to get something. The person conducting the service was complaining about my back saying I had too many black heads, asking me if I was born in Canada and then saying I was "lucky because that means you don't work hard." There's more offensive awkward commentary but I won't bother transcribing the whole event. They don't have massage tables so your face will be side ways and not facing down with a head rest. The employee clearly didn't want to do it from the laughing out front, and it was extremely awkward because they don't have the facilities or bedside manner to handle clients. Spend your money on a place that has real massage tables and where the employees are trained better.
