I went a couple months ago back in October, for a massage and facial. I was pleased with my services, staff was very friendly. The prices are great, I went their initially because of the price as I am not insured. I wish they would have a RMT though, but I would like to come am calling soon to book another massage. Thank you so much for a relaxing night!

I went here due to great reviews, boy that was a terrible idea. I had threading done and I will NEVER return here. I made an appointment a few days ahead back in October, and the girl I saw wasn't very pleasant; she came across like I was an inconvenvice to her. It seemed like she was rushing through the threading, which resulted in a lot of pain from unnecessary pinching and it was evident in the "completed" work. I pointed out a few areas to touch up, but I got tired of doing that as it's her job. I ended up leaving with patchy spots where she did sloppy work, or just missed altogether. I ended up going home and having to redo her work. Such a waste of money (especially since they charge more than other places I've visited in the GTA) and an all around terrible experience. I won't make the same mistake again!!! ***The only positive part of this place was the very nice woman working at the front desk.

Super clean spa with great service and friendly staff. I strongly recommend Sheldon who has been my hair stylist for over a year now. If you are looking for a fresh hair cut or changing up you hair color, she is your girl. Sheldon is very professional and what I like about her the most is that she gives me her honest opinion as to what would work for my hair. I always leave the salon with 100% satisfaction. As for all my esthetic needs, Sumbal does an amazing job. She is super friendly and very detailed oriented.

I had to go home and re do my nails as I had shellac taken off and the lady put clear nail polish on top of all the nail dust on my nails.... And she didn't even smooth the top of my nails. Also not happy with the hours and miss Sundays.

I have been to Sunwaves twice over the last month (since the new owners took over) and let me tell you, the staff are AMAZING!!! Krista is a superior nail and lash artist - I HIGHLY recommend her. Came here to get a facial and was recommended the botinol facial and my skin feels amazing! Love how smooth and moisturized I feel especially with all the dry heating now. The staff are lovely and the place looks great after their renovations. Will definitely be back!

My son (4) went for a hair cut and the stylist was short with me and you could see how irritated she was when he would flinch from the clippers. She would roll her eyes and sigh, she gave up after about 5 minutes and then I was charged $13 for an unfinished hair cut that was sloppy. I'll never go there again unfortunately, they were my favorite spa in town, never had an issue before. **I was contacted by the owner about my experience and she did apologize as well as offer my son a hair cut free of charge.
