This is a great salon! I went for a mani and pedi and Su did a wonderful job. Definitely the best salon visit I've had in Halifax. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this salon.

I got my nails done in different shop, and only had removal at Su nails. The lady who did my nail didn’t seem professional maybe she was apprentice. It was gel nail but she had hard time removing it (which I think she didn’t apply enough removal acetone). Then she scraped my nail until it got dry and wounded. I have gotten gel nail for years and never had it before. *I don’t think she soaked my nails for 20min. This is my point too, it was too short for my nails get soaked. That being said I appreciate your reply and wish you best

Ive been there a couple times and really enjoyed the service. Su is super sweet and friendly and the quality of their work is great! They've also introduced somebody for threading, which I'm really excited to try.

I had my pedicure here and it was amazing! Su was really good and she even fixed up my brazilian for me. She did not charge me too much and she did a really great job! They are all very friendly and on top of that, I love the chairs for the pedicure and foot spa. They’re massage chairs! If I live in Halifax, I would be a loyal costumer to Su! ❤️

Me girlfriends and I went here to get our nails done as we were going away. We got the shellac done and within a couple days all of our nails were chipping!! Usually it lasts weeks for me, very disappointing.

I love going to Su's! She is so awesome and really nice. I go in for gel nails and it's always perfect. I even got a head band from her with cat ear on it. My friend and I love going to her. Definitely recommend.

Today was my first time visiting Su Nails. I had the pleasure of meeting and laughing with Su and her daughter while enjoying a shellac manicure and pedicure. Family run, I felt like I had been a client of there’s for years. The shellac application was meticulous and the cuticle work was above par. I would highly recommend Su nails!

I love this place! The owner and her daughter are excellent. They now take appointments online which is a plus. I have never had to wait or felt rushed and my mani/ pedis look great. On top of that they are very sweet and remember their customers. I only wish it was closer to my house!

I had a basic manicure and pedicure and my daughter had basic polish application. They switched the nail colour for one nail to be different, but they did it on her middle finger, not ring finger, which we both thought was strange. My daughter's nail polish started peeling off that night and was entirely gone from all toe and hand nails after two days! That wasn't a big deal because they only charged $20 for the application, but it felt like wasted money because it fell right off. My nails looked beautiful, but my pedicure was sloppy. I've had many pedicures before and I felt that the polish application should have been more carefully applied. I made an appt online, but it was a Friday evening and they were still taking walk-ins even though the place was overbooked. I was shuffled from chair to chair and had my manicure in the "waiting area" chair. This was okay, but then I saw the final bill. It was $100 including tip for me and my daughter. There are better places, that do a more careful application, for less. I will not be back.

The staff were lovely, and so accommodating. I was awful and didn't make an appointment because I made a surprise trip into town, and they allowed me in for a pedicure (please make an appointment though!) I had a great experience, the view of the harbour was beautiful, and the staff were so nice!

You’ve heard that people are very unlikely to eat in the restaurant they’ve worked for since they know too many things that customers would never know? I worked at su nails (FT and PT) since they started. I left a year ago only because I changed my course of profession. And now, I’m a regular customer, visiting them every 2-4 weeks. As a former professional nail tech, trust me, I know I can trust everyone that works there because their par is too high in this industry. I enjoyed all the time I spent there. Both as an employee and as a customer. It’s never worth the risk for me to try out new places in Halifax.

Poor manicure for the price. Went in for a shellac manicure and my cuticles weren't clipped properly or pushed back, and the polish wasn't spread to the top of the nail. About a quarter of an inch of nail is showing from the polish to the cuticle, and I only got them done a day ago. As well, I called and asked about getting acrylic nails beforehand, and I was assured that option was available - as soon as I got there they told me it wasn't. I won't be returning sadly, and wish that for the high price of the manicure the quality had been of a higher standard.

I have been Su Nails a lot of times since they open. The staff are super friendly and I have to say they know what they are doing! If you need to treat yourself one day. Go there! They are professional!
