I have been attending this spa since the doors opened and it was just Meaghan Tenbergen running the show! Even though I have moved out of the city, I make sure that I still attend once in awhile because I absolutely adore everyone here. From sugaring to my first facial, the experience is always so relaxing (yes..even sugaring). My first facial was a wonderful experience and I was not sure what to expect! Despite being self conscious about my acne and bare face afterwards, my face had a glow that I have never seen before! Meaghan took the time to explain a lot to me (I have a lot to learn) and even filled out a regime for me to use (once I get paid. hah) Overall, everything is so lovely and warm there and I have recommended this cute and classy spa to many! :)

Chriara was SOO friendly and welcoming every time I can in. I’ve gotten my lips done at another place and they came out no where close to how beautiful and plump my lips were after the skin studio. The best part was that they lasted for about a year. The service, technique and quality will 1000% send me back. They definitely know what they’re doing! I’m coming back 100 times over. Especially since my lips and the laser done to my underarms have lasted like no other time before.

Sarah is a master at mapping brows! She tinted them perfectly and I am so happy with how they look. I was given a welcome bag with a ton of samples and they even followed up with an email asking how I liked my service. Their customer service is second to none. The second brow appt i had i thought I'd throw in an express facial and it was a lovely add on to my brows. I am dying to try the full facial. The Eminence products are amazing and well worth the price. You only need a tiny bit and each product leaves my face feeling silky. I'm especially in love with the Recovery oil, literally is liquid gold! Try this spa, you will LOVE it

Skin Studio Spa is absolutely the BEST salon I have ever been too. I have been seeing Meaghan Tenbergen for a while now, and I am AMAZED by how she has flourished since opening the doors at Skin. I went in for a treatment there a couple weeks ago. I was (as usual) apprehensive about the treatment as I have very low pain tolerance. Meaghan took the time to explain to me that the sugar she was using on my eyebrows was a little harder than what I was used to BUT that I shouldn't notice a difference. She was right. It was (almost) pain-free (keep in mind this is ripping hair from your eyebrows lol) She is always so diligent and careful, even on things as small and seemingly unimportant as eyebrows. Because meaghan always makes sure to apply a cream directly after, I was able to go back to work right after and NO ONE even knew I had a treatment. Thank you Meaghan for all that you do :)

I recently went to Skin Studio Spa for a Lash Lift/Tint- and it was great. I've had this service done before at other places but was always advised to keep the area dry for 48 hours so I was happy when Danielle told me I could go ahead and wash it right away if I wanted- cause not being able to wash your eyes for 48 hours isn't the biggest thrill. Danielle was very patient and very knowledgeable- I'm really happy with the results!

She knows which products are right for your skin and your skin gets the nourishment it needs. The spa is modern, clean, and has friendly staff. The rooms are ambient and the spa bed is comfy. You get to choose the type of music you want playing in the background, and the handy questionnaire you fill out ahead of time ensures that you get exactly what you want out of the treatment. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and informed! I went home with products that I truly believe are helping my skin. I will never use anything but Eminence. Thanks Meaghan for the wonderful service! It was worth the hour and a half drive! I would recommend you 100x over!

I’ve been a client with Skin Studio Spa since they opened, but like many people have been kind of anxious about re-engaging with the world since COVID-19. This was my first trip anywhere as part of Phase 3, primarily because I had high expectations of how the spa would handle opening safely. I didn’t think it was possible but my expectations were exceeded. I received clear communication ahead of time of the thorough protocols they were putting in place to maintain cleanliness and hygiene and it was evident those protocols were being strictly maintained. Masks, barriers, clear signage, obvious sanitation - they had it all, but somehow managed to maintain the welcoming, helpful and friendly atmosphere they’ve always had. Molly even managed to do an incredible job on my eyebrows without getting a drop of product on my mask (which sits quite high on my face). I can’t recommend the team here enough and was so happy to see the top half of their faces again!

An overall excellent experience! I happened to be in Guelph for work and was in need of a spraytan. I personally own my own spraytan company so I am always a bit nervous having someone else do my tan but I was very impressed and I loved the solution. I wasn't sticky, it was very natural and bronze as opposed to some of those oranges you see out there. Highly recommend them.

I’m a new client at skin studio spa. I was so hesitant on going to a new spa to get my facials done because of how sensitive my skin is and was scared to try out a new place closer to home. I am SO happy that I did. I was booked with Sarah and she was absolutely amazing. I left with such flawless skin. I had the Hungarian facial. I can honestly say... it was the best facial I’ve ever had. From the products being used... to the massaging...it was awesome. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep ! I purchased some product and after just one week of using them, I noticed such a big difference and my skin has never looked as good as it does. If your looking for a new place to go to... you won’t be disappointed! And I mean that! So looking forward for my next visit with Sarah in the next few weeks.

This morning I went in and got my 3D micro facial. The most relaxing 1.5 hours of my life. I have gotten facials and chemical peels before but this was truely a "spa experience". Candles were lit, nice quiet music in the background and the bed was super comfortable. She splurged my face with various organic products that included cleansers, toners, masks, creams and even a lip balm. I highly recommend the 3D microexfoliation package; you get a lot out of it for a great price. I ended up purchasing one of the Eminenance cleansers and used it once and I am already in love. Pricey but worth it. My face has never felt smoother before. Feels like a baby's bottom. They also gave me a lot of samples too which I can't wait to try! Probably the best spa and definitely the only organic spa in Guelph!

I felt like a mess coming in to the studio and even though Skin Studio Spa appears differently (while they are under construction) what has not wavered is their quality of service. I have been to skin studio spa a couple times, but I just had my first spray tan. As someone who falls into the palest of pale category I was a little bit skeptical of how it would turn out, but decided to try it out. Molly quickly put all my worries to rest. She was friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. She recommend a shade for me as I had no idea how any of it worked. She explained thoroughly what she was going to do and what to expect while the tan developed. The tan looks amazing and natural. I have received several compliments and my Colleagues couldn’t believe it was a spray tan. If you’re looking for any spa services I reccomend this one over any other in town!

I got the WOW eyebrow treatment and would suggest you keep the extra $40 unless you think a thin swipe of unknown cream is worth $40. )20 for the eyebrow shaping was fine, just fine. I asked when the crows feet application would be done which cost an extra $40 and was told it has been. I sent an email to the owner who TOLD me it was done, even though she was not in the room. do NOT recommend this place. So much for customer service.

I had missed two appointments with these people, due two both times I tried and reschedule, I would of been five mins late, due to a brain injury I have a hard time remembering appointments and they told me they'd do a half fast job on my eyebrows, and I must pay a missed appointment fee, at that time haven't missed one, but alright. Now I had my appointment rebooked for today and the girl I guess rebooked me and the manager texts me on my personal phone, telling me my appointment was cancelled last in and they tried to take a payment. Like no your not taking a payment and I'm sorry your business is so hurting for money you have to bully someone with a brain injury. And mock them. Such a sad person that manages this.
