I previously left a review about my laser hair removal experience at Seema's and I just wanted to come back and leave an update since she is using a different laser than the one I started with. I was super skeptical about the new laser at first. I had such good results with the original laser, I thought the new one must be less powerful because it was completely painless. I was wrong. The results were so impressive after even 1 session. I'm now 3 sessions in, and I am beyond impressed. I honestly cannot believe that it's painless given the results. Like no pain at all. Nada. I asked a dermatologist friend of mine about the laser brand and she told me it was the gold standard! Thanks Seema and staff for always keeping such a great standard of service! I feel like I've struck gold here!

Omgggg bestttt place to get your brows and your upper lip threaded!!! I've never had such beautiful brows in my life! A huge S/O and thank you to Angeli for blessing me with the sexiest brows ever!!! Also, it was my first time trying a hydra facial with a complimentary oxygenation and bio current and wowww, it was literally magical. Lol I even had a power nap. You know you're talented when your clients fall asleep! I definitely recommend getting a hydra facial, it's worth the investment! Also, the owner, Seema and Angeli and both babes! Today I went for the very first time at Seema’s new spa at Kortright. I have been eyeing and waiting to go to her for my skin issues and to get a facial or any other service done as I was so amazed by the results i saw on her instagram page. So today I finally went! Yeeee on that! And I am regretting why I didn’t go sooner! As soon as you enter the spa, you can see how beautifully it has been visioned and made and more importantly how warm and welcoming feel it gives. Seema is so friendly, courteous and kind. She pays attention to every detail ☺️ Shimo did my brightening facial and she was so thorough in my facial. She paid extra attention to remove my Ingrown hairs on my chin due to the waxing I have been doing there!! She was constantly smiling and Shimo has magic in her hands ❤️❤️ I would be visiting for my facials and my other skin treatments to Seema’s only and i recommend this spa to everyone who wants to have best experience. I am glad to find this one near my home!!

Seema's was recommended to me and I'm so glad I found it. Best eyebrow threading I have ever had. Seema also turned me on to eyebrow tinting at my last appointment and I got so many compliments. She did a great job. I also have done 2 rounds of laser hair removal for my legs and the results after only two sessions are astounding. I have had laser before and this is by far the most effective and affordable. The laser also includes cooling air so it takes out some, if not all of the sting during the procedure which is really nice. All of the covid protocols are excellent. I feel very safe attending appointments at Seema's. It's so nice to find a consistently excellent spa.

I love Seema so much! She’s been threading my eyebrows since high school and I cannot day enough good things about her! She always helps. Me get the shape I want! She’s fast virtually painless and I always feel beautiful leaving the spa! My eyebrows don’t naturally match and they have weird gaps but she always makes them look sharp and natural ! She is a true eyebrow queen ! I’ve gone to so many threading salons and always leave unhappy with my shape, I can always come back to Seema to be my eyebrow hero! She is the best! I trust no one else with my eyebrows ! I highly recommend! I should also add that I have very sensitive skin on my face and I always leave with no damage or pain :) that is definitely a bonus! Go get your eyebrows done with her, you won’t regret it !

Seema is very experienced and thorough with her clients. She makes sure that you not only know the products and tools that she's using but, you also understand what they're made of and doing! In spa salons I tend to feel self conscious but Seema makes sure you're content right down to the last eyebrow hair! Not to mention you're offered tea and coffee once you walk through the door (and slippers!) which is always a plus????

I did the High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) today and I am so amazed with the result, I literally achieves a facelift in this first session without any invasive surgery or injections, I love the result, it gave me a natural, refreshed lifted look. I have been going to Seema for the last 3 years and realized I never left her a review! Since I moved to Guelph 7 years ago, I had been looking for the perfect eyebrow threader. I had many terrible experiences in the city (at the mall, etc) with eyebrows that ended up getting too thinned out or just mishapen. After I found Seema - I've never gone to anyone else since her! She does a perfect job at shaping and cleaning my eyebrows. I also started laser hair removal with her and was very worried because I have sensitive skin including keratosis pilaris on my arms. I also have VERY bad ingrown hairs on my legs and I was hoping laser would make them look more even-toned. After only 2 treatments, I went from shaving my legs once a day to shaving once every 2 weeks! It works so fast! It's not painful AT ALL and I can see results already! Seema is also so sweet. She treats me like a daughter and doesn't make me feel awkward being exposed while I'm getting laser done. :)

This salon is fab. I recently went for a facial ,which was just what i wanted and then I found out about the beauty services and ended up there for longer. I had a massage, facial, threading and complimentary underarm waxing. I left the salon 2 hours later feeling great and beautiful. The owner there is very friendly. By far the best experience I've had at a spa!! The new laser is completely pain free and you don't even notice it happening! I would recommend anyone with a low pain tolerance to go here!! You won't feel a thing!! The ladies are so friendly and welcoming! No awkwardness during any appointment. They touch base with you every appointment to discuss results. If you are not getting the results you expected they work with you openly and change the course of treatments to ensure you are getting the best results possible. I spent about $1000 on the so called "fabulous" laser and received less than minimal results. Almost no reparations offered by the owner for maintenance which is absurd considering the amount I spent. All she cares about is collecting the payment and getting you out the door. Very little attention is given to the customers actual progress and helping you achieve the results you should get. I will also add that when I signed up for the yearly package I was told that my laser treatment would be complete before the end of the year that I paid for. By the end of the year which she didn't want to even finish up she said I would require additional sessions. I highly caution anyone from paying for laser from this salon. The hair is darker and more visible than when I began treatment. There are tons of salons that offer lower prices for laser and offer way better monitoring on your progress. She also tried to blame it all on my hormones but after discussion with my doctor he mentioned it was highly unlikely that I would be the cause. It just shows that the owner takes no responsibility and only cares about her payment at the end of the day.

I have been going to Seema's Salon for years! I was recommended by a friend to try out threading for my eyebrows ( had previously waxed). Seema was not only super friendly and welcoming but also professional and did an amazing job on my brows from the very first time! She is gentle, quick and does the job right everytime. Seema’s salon provides such a wonderful experience, leaving you feel more happy and confident than ever. I get both laser hair removal and the Secret RF micro-needling for excessive armpit sweating. I had 2 micro-needling sessions before a wedding I was standing in and it did wonders to reduce my sweating. I felt so much more confident and relaxed the day of the wedding, and this is something I have felt self conscious about since I was a teenager. Seema and her staff are so kind and make you feel so deserving and beautiful. The space is clean and zen and they are also very accommodating with my busy schedule. This review is for my laser hair removal treatments. I have now had 3 sessions with their new Motus Ax Alexandrite laser and the results so far have been incredible! I spend lots of time in shorts so I was getting very irritated with the hassle of shaving. After years of being told there aren't effective options for dark hair dark skin combinations, this is the first spa with a laser that works on all skin types and I saw a difference from the first application! There's zero pain involved just a gentle warmth and none of the snapping or zapping sound/sensation. I always look forward to being in their spa and Seemaknows me by name. Have also had a facial there and it was such a wonderful and relaxing experience.

I started going to Seema in 2013/14 for hair removal I am of Afro-Canadian and finding someone to do laser hair removal was a different ball game. I contacted Seema and she reassured me she would get me results and after a consultation I began treatments. I had suffered from ingrowns and hyperpigmentation from shaving and after each treatment I had no painful ingrowns and my hair was thinning in all the 3 areas I had treatment. Seema knows her stuff and very soon she was threading my eyebrows and she is a queen at that too. She helped me clear my skin and I am grateful to have found her. So If you are dark skinned/ melanated skin.... GO TO SEEMA. You will not regret it

It was my first time visiting Seema’s and my whole experience from beginning to end was wonderful. Booking the appointment was quick and Seema is very quick to accommodate with your schedule. The spa is clean and welcoming and they offer SO many incredible services. I came for a henna brow and it turned out great (highly recommend if you have a lot more natural hairs). She offers coffee, tea and water and some sweets in the waiting area and is very attentive. Highly recommend!

Seema does an amazing job with threading my eyebrows and I even got my mom and sister to go see her as well and she never fails! She welcomes us with open arms and really cares about her work! Within the year I also decided to try laser for my underarms and neck, Seema and Anjali really made me feel comfortable for each session and all I have to say is this is the best decision I ever made! Not only did I see results quickly but the process of laser hair removal is painless and thorough. My biggest concern was how painful it would be but with the laser machine that they have is simply PAIN FREE. Super happy and I can’t wait to get more done! Awesome team. Keep up the great work.
