Probably the best experience I have ever had at a salon! I was travelling from out of the area for a wedding and looking for somewhere to do my hair and make up. After reading many reviews I took the chance on this salon and they surpassed all my expectations. Hair Stylist Hannah did my hair, beyond amazing and exactly what I wanted. I then sat down with Trina for makeup who did a great neutral look, again exactly what I was looking for. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and just wanted to ensure you enjoyed your time at their establishment. I would highly recommend this salon, I am even considering making the trip out to Guelph for all my hair needs!

What a great experience...I saw Kat and she took my orange hair and made it a beautiful beige blonde w brown highlights throughout. There was no breakage. She kept the integrity of my hair. This is so important in a stylist! I even met Holly at the salon who was so wonderful to deal with. I also met Courtney and Jen...all the stylists are knowledgeable and so happy. I would trust my hair with any of them. What's so fantastic about this place is that they all talk to each other and ask for advice so their client is happy. For once a salon that gives quality hair with no pretentiousness.

I had been looking for a local stylist for quite awhile befor stumbling across David at Holly's and all I can say is thank goodness. The experience, professionalism and talent he possesses are beyong amazing. He was able to achieve the best colour and cut I have ever had and for the first time in years made me feel confident and on top of that my hair looked and felt healthy. With that I honestly have absolutely no problem recommending Holly, David and their team.

I am posting on behalf of my mother to share her recent unpleasant experience. She was so excited to finally get in for a hair appointment as these shutdowns have been difficult on everyone. She talked about it for over a week about how happy she is to feel good about herself again and how she couldn’t wait to go. Well she arrived and the stylist she was due to be with had called in. These things happen that’s ok, the staff stated they called her… they did not. Anyways mom took the offer of one of the other stylist to step in, some gentleman not sure of his name. Mom shared what she wanted, shoulder length, thinned and full colour. The colour looks amazing! The cut …. Well was well over an inch above shoulder length almost a babydoll looking bob. My mother upset and stating so was treating with only “compliments” from the salon staff, while battling off her tears. She came to see me, cried in my driveway as I tried to console her. At the end of the day it is only hair but my heart broke for her as like many, you want to leave a salon you pay good money for and feel uplifted and beautiful. My suggestion to any who took the time to read this, is to please advocate for yourself and be comfortable with saying no if the situation isn’t right. I am not stating the service she received looked ugly by any means, it’s kinda cute for a little girl but not what was asked for. The issue is the miscommunication that occurred dramatically here. I wish the best to anyone on their own beauty journey, I hope you can feel confident and proud after your next salon trip.

I should have posted my review sooner, but I wanted to make sure my hair still looked "good". A few weeks ago, a went in asking for a perm. I was given an appointment with David. David gave me the best perm I've had in years! He took the time to treat my hair prior to perming, wrapped deftly, and explained to me the process and technique he was using for my hair. Afterward, he treated and cut my hair giving me exactly what I had asked for. He also took the time to explain how to care for and style my new 'do. I really like him he's friendly and has a dry humor, which I like. He's definitely has a new client. My hair looks awesome! I love it! It feels like THIS is the hair I should have been born with. Thank you, David!

It was my first time going to Fresh Salon & Spa by Hollys and I had a great experience! I requested Holly since I saw so many great reviews about her work ( but I'm definitely looking forward to work with the other stylists in the future now for the level of quality and customer service I received on my first visit). Everyone was very friendly and accomodating, the facility is very clean, bright and organized, and reception made sure I was cared for promptly, before and after my cut. I loved the cut I got from Holly ( shampoo, cut and style), she knew exactly what style would work best for my face shape, while still following my request for the cut. Best place to get a hair cut by far. Both my mother and I go to Holly's and I'm lucky enough to get a cut and style by Holly herself! Compliments while I'm there about the style as well as when I'm not come frequently. The staff are all friendly and the discount when booking ahead is a nice bonus as well. Highly recommended!

Such wonderful pampering services! I loved my manicure and pedicure and appreciate that they use SPAritual nail polish and products which are vegan and free of the top 5 chemicals that make conventional nail polish so toxic. I have had many fantastic hair cuts and facials here too. The staff are so friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I would highly recommend Fresh!!

First visit was amazing but second visit was terrible. The stylist had to continually as Athena what to do and the outcome was not one colour that blended but roots that were white are now brown and platinum I entered with is yellow. If they managed to makes this many mistakes and walk by applauding the colourist on the job. I will not allow her to fix this. The excuse that they couldn’t do as before because they have changed stylist and she didn’t keep records is the worst excuse and Holly should be the one to take action, not a receptionist.

Yesterday, I had jet black hair. I went to Fresh Salon & Spa by Hollys to start the lightening process. I was a little nervous as I had been box colouring my hair for years. Holly and her team were very friendly and helped to calm my anxiety before we even started. I am now a beautiful colour of brunette and I couldn't be happier! Hey, I am not the one that post reviews or anything like that...however I do want to post something for this salon..... my goodness this place treats you exactly how you want to be treated...I was a bit nervous, and skeptical only because I have had bad experiences with other salons, but this places over takes any expectations. Not joking. They focus on you and what you want done. And it doesn't matter if it takes 30 min- or 4 hours. They make sure it's done right. I absolutely love my hair and every minute was soooooo worth it. This will definitely be my go to salon now. Thanks xo

Jan 3 2022 I had the pleasure of visiting Fresh Salon & Spa by Hollys in Guelph and the whole experience was flawless. To start the salon itself is huge and offers all sorts of services. I went in for a perm, but plan on coming back to take advantage of the great offers they have. As soon as I walked in it was a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were all lovely to talk to and very helpful. The stylist I received was David and I would recommend him to anyone. He's been in the industry for years so I was confident with my hair in his hands. He is not only an incredible artist (my hair looks AMAZING) but an amazing educator too! He gave me lots of maintenance tips and explained what each product gives and how it benefits your hair. I was pretty nervous about losing length but I received EXACTLY what i asked for. I've been to a few salons in Guelph and none of them compare to the experience I had a Hollys! Thank you so much!
