If you are looking for a new salon to try in Guelph, give Butterfly Salon and Spa a try. I used to always go to them until I moved out of town. All of their stylists are great and they also did an up do for my wedding that I was very happy with. I have never received a bad haircut from them. I love the products that they use and the staff are all very friendly.

For a year I salon surfed, trying to find someone who would stop looking at me like a 50 year old, grey haired lady and see me for the super immature, young 50 year old silver vixon that I am. Well...i had nice long hair...asked for 2 inches off. Gave very specific guidelines to wear this individual should cut my hair. I have 1 braid that has been wire wrapped with stones... I habe had it for over a year now, so it has formed a dread. But at the end of it is a little tale of hair to keep ot together. I specifically showed this lady where on the little tale of hair to cut to...bur nope. Cut it to the very edge...barely have hair left over, so could fall apart any time now. Was a gift from a friend. But she ended up cutting at least 4 inches off.. It took me a very long time to get my hair that length. So i was very unhappy.. .not only that each side of my hair is uneven...and is really bad. The whole cut in very dissapointing. And i did cry... I do have a wedding to be in...and she botched my hair. Didnt even listen to her clients...just did whatever... Not happy and will never go there again. Waste of time and money. Bs really. Learn how to listen. It will be very helpful in the future...also give this 0 stars.

I got my hair cut today by Waida and she was fantastic! Very sweet and had a lot of great suggestions and styling tips for my hair. I have curly/wavy hair and it has been very hard to find a stylist I was happy with. This is one of the best cuts I have had in a long time.

Went here to get a Brazilian wax for the first time because it was one of the least expensive of all the places in Guelph, but I tell you, I won't go there again. Because it was my first time, I was nervous. It started out alright, but when I got in there and got started, the esthetician was very rough and abrupt, just kinda whipped the towel off and got started when I was unprepared and nervous - which she knew. She also neglected to press after each pull - something I researched prior and knew had to be done. When I got home to investigate how she did, I noticed that she missed a lot of hairs - obvious, dark hairs, and there were patches of remaining wax here and there. Lastly, when I got to check-out, the lady put added $24 exfoliant onto my bill which I did not consent to buying. Overall, I'm not happy, and I will not be returning to this salon.

I was told I would be getting the "top" stylist- I showed pictures of what I wanted -well it's the worst hair cut I've had in 50 yrs period! I had grown my hair out to a long length , so there was plenty to work with. The stylist used an ancient/old technique, a "razor comb" to layer my hair ( I wanted long layers) now I have all sorts of layers short & long- ragged looking a mess for sure!!!!! I'm so upset !

Visiting and called for an appt for cut and color. Maggie was my stylist and she made a recommendation for color that worked very well. I wanted a little change and she did an excellent job. She also did an excellent job with the cut. Wish I could take Maggie to my home in Florida. Great cut, color and service.

I randomly discovered this true gem ! Im embarrassed i did not know they have been in guelph for a long time. i called one location and was directed towards the wellington location and lucked out that they could accommodate my super last minute requests. Ilana was my hair stylists and i couldnt have lucked out more! She listened to what i wanted and was personable and went the extra mile! She even added that we had some extra time and asked if she was okay adding some detail to my style ???? I love love love this hair stylist and this salon! Thank you for a lovely experience ????

I had the most wonderful, relaxing hair cut experience this morning. The clean fresh feel to the salon was open and airy with friendly helpful staff who helped guide me through the new protocols and procedures to keep everyone safe during their re-opening period. They had my recommended Aveda shampoo & conditioner ready and bagged at the cash for when my cut and blow dry was finished. It created a wonderful smooth cut, dry and purchase that left me feeling uplifted and relaxed after my appointment. Congratulations on your wonderful re-opening experience I highly recommend this to anyone needed a hair freshen up. It was a pleasure to attend such a safe, clean and tidy well run salon and I will be returning soon with such great service.

I have known the owner Adrian and for over 20 years and have had the most amazing care and hairdos. He is very professional and always takes a lot of care with his work.
