Had a pedicure here today. I ended up leaving before polish got applied. in an attempt to deal with some minor ingrowns my tech ended up cutting below the nail line at the top. The only thing I can compare it to is if you look down at your feet my two big toes look like the nails are upside down V’s with a huge amount of the nail taken off of the sides at a drastic angle. Not the straight across cut asked for. soon as I noticed the shape I asked him to get the manager. He came over and inspected, then said my ingrowns were taken care of (false) and he’s sorry about the shape.(The nails look insane) So not only did my nails not get dealt with properly (they already hurt since he didn’t remove the unwanted nail properly), and look very strange, I now have another appointment tomorrow at a different salon to fix it. I was obviously unhappy with my service which I expressed to the manager when he came over to my seat. No discount offered. It was busy and I didn’t want to ruin anyone else’s day there by repeating my complaint. If a customer leaves mid service and also doesn’t get other services done that we’re booked you KNOW they’re unhappy. I think anyone can relate that getting a service at any spa should be a relaxing one and this was stressful, awkward and cost me my time and $50. Plus I have to pay to have it “fixed” tomorrow at a another salon :(
