Spent a wonderful afternoon at the salon. Rosey gave me a great pedicure. She was very gentle and made my feet look as good as feet ever look. Then K did my nails. He also did a wonderful job. The salon is beautiful and very clean and the staff is very professional. I will be back often.

This has become my new nail place after trying several nail spas in the area. This is a brand new salon and super clean and had a beautiful decor and atmosphere. I thought the staff was very friendly and warm. I think their prices are lower than the surrounding salons and with the current promotion OPENING (which I think they said lasts for the first months) was a fantastic deal! I had a French manicure So nice . make me so happy ...and must say that it is probably the best set I've had in 5 years. I had a pedicure done also which was very relaxing. I forgot the technicians name but thought she did a really nice job. They also had a huge selection of polishes ( all brand new bottles)Equipment clean and heath and safe .Plus they offer a beverage and free wifi and make sure you are comfortable. I would definitely be back .

Originally I was very happy with my set but 5 days after I got this gel manicure they began cracking like crazy. I called before hand and was told that their gel manicures last about a month. Unfortunately I wont be back. $35 plus gst can be better spent on buying the products needed to do a gel manicure yourself at home.

I usually get pretty good service here but I got someone new this time (Michael) and he did a good job, however he was a little aggressive with the nail filer and cut my middle finger pretty badly, then put nail polish remover onto the cut which stung really bad. Also burned my pinky finger with the drill filer. Usually love these guys but I left this time with a painful cut :(

Came here yesterday for a new set with design, and got it done by Sam. My nails turned out exactly like how I want, really love it. He is very gentle and focus on every details. Highly recommend!!!

So disappointed,Would not recommend! came from out of town to get a gel manicure and thought that this place looked nice. The man that worked at the front was nice and offered us tea but once I sat down the nail tech told me what I wanted wasn’t pretty so I chose something else, after she added the base coat she left for 10 minuets and then came back she worked Very fast which resulted in sloppy uneven colour. And the WORST part is it’s five days later and half have already chipped completely off!! Will not be returning

I go to see Michael. He puts an effort and takes time when doing my nails. Second time with him, the gel manicure lasted 3 weeks last time. I like it.

Super clean, and very sanitary. They always wipe off the table after each step, wear gloves and wear those protective masks if they’re doing acrylic. VERY VERY GOOD costumer service, the people are seriously so kind, they even offer you something to drink. There’s faint music and the background and there’s tv’s that play shows like Americas got Talent etc.They do those nude to colour ombres, they have lots of stones and lots of variety of polishes to choose from. They best nail salon in Grande Prairie for sure, they really do take their time. ????????

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. I got the best pedicure of my life here-for only $45 i received all the regular pedicure steps on top of hot towels, exfoliation, massage, and even a hot stone massage! I was so impressed. Will defiantly be back :)

Prairie Nails is amazing. K did my nails today and he was phenomenal. He spent more time on the shaping which I really appreciated because I am quite particular. I love the job they did and how the owner/manager actually goes around too to make sure the shape and colors are perfect! I had gotten a pedicure from them a couple weeks ago and I love how they actually got all the dead skin off, didn't do a quick job like most places. Already can't wait for my next ones!

I had a fullset manicure and also a pedicure spa.I love the pedicure with footspa. Michael gently massage and really gave time to clean my foot nails, around the nails and my whole foot. Thanks michael! My manicure would be nicer if they also cleaned around my hand nails and not just the nails before they put the acrylic. But over all, it was a good experience. Thank you also to sam, rosey and the owner/receptionist.????

I went there yesterday with my sister for an early Christmas present and I am very disappointed. Firstly when the lady was prepping my nails she didn’t remove my cuticles or even attempt to push them back. Secondly I asked for gel but I received acrylic. The lady doing my nails had her AirPods in the entire time on the phone. My nails are very thin, and they are already bending. With any time of new nail extensions you should not feel like you are going to break them with any movement you do with them. They feel so flimsy and they look very rough around the edges. Our nails were 90$ each and these nails aren’t even going to last me a week. My sister nails turned out great though as she had someone different.

I have been in twice, I found the gentleman who did my nails the second time filed the way too much. They were thin even with the gel on. Within a few days, two of my nails had broken. I ended up cutting my nails down to nothing to avoid them breaking even more. I've never had that happen before.

I had my nails done by Alex, he was super nice and very clean. I am obsessed with these custom nails he did for me, he was very professional and quick. These nails are exactly what I wanted, and he even custom shaped each nail specifically as per my request so I can play my instruments with ease, and still have a consistent manicure. I loved the atmosphere of the salon as well as the cleanliness was astounding. I would definitely recommend people to check this place out especially if you are looking for somthing different or out of the box. I highly recommend Alex as his work is stunning. 12/10 will be returning to see Alex again.

Very clean environment, friendly staff. My friend said I should go here and I’m glad I did. Sam was awesome, made sure everything was right through the whole process and did such an amazing job. He did exactly what I asked for in size, shape and colour. I also noticed he was careful around the one little scab i had on my finger without asking and i really appreciate that as well. This is by far the best nail salon I’ve been to in GP and elsewhere❤️

My fiancé and I had an awesome experience. Great pedicures! And we brought our new baby and 2 year old cause we had no babysitter and they were totally fine with that, they had a little kids area for our 2 year old. Very sweet staff! Definitely coming back ! :)

I usually hate getting pedicures, I always find they are very rough. This was my first time at prairie nails and i will keep coming back here. My pedicure was awesome. Best one I've had actually. Very thorough and the leg and foot massage lasted forever and then hot stone massage after then like an oil lotion massage! I was super impressed. Almost fell asleep actually. Highly recommend

This was my first time @ Prairie Nails. Upon entry it is a very clean and bright nail salon. I was greeted by Ivy who who was my nail tech. She is very friendly and did a pretty good job on my toes. There was a mishap and when I didn't receive 10% off (there was a group of 5 of us) I had left my review on here and they were quick to resolve it. This company has integrity and will be my go to nail salon here in GP. I highly recommend Prairie Nails!

They use the same dermal drill bits on multiple peoples nails. They dont ever wash their hands switching from client to client. My nails looked like garbage when I left, I was able to peel the color off the next day on a couple nails not to mention each nail was a completely different shape. To top it off they speak in their own language constantly with each other blatantly talking about the clients which is very uncomfortable, my nail tech barely spoke to me at all. This was my first chop shop experience and will be my last.

This is a very clean and bright facility. All the staff are friendly and greet you with a smile. They follow all procedures and protocols for Covid regulations and always address any concerns you have. I feel they do an amazing job with customer service and always do a great job with my nails and waxing. This is always my go to place, keep up the excellent work Prairie Nails!

I'm always on the road with my husband. He was nice and booked me an appointment at this salon. I haven't had my nails done since I moved from Ontario. I have to say they are very professional. I had a young lady named Layla. And she did a PERFECT job!!!!! By far the best nail place I EVER came across. I live in British Columbia now but I would drive 8 hours just to have the same treatment. Awsome job guys! Keep up the great work xo

I went in with a friend for pedicures. I had to wait almost half hour past my appointment time. I got a poor nail polish application and I still had dry skin after my pedicure. For the amount I expect at least to have soft pretty feet. I have had another bad experience here I thought I'd give them another shot but unfortunately it was a quick poor job done

Not sure if I had a new gal Natalie. She cut my cuticles on my toes & made them bleed. Then squirted alcohol on it & and it stung so bad I almost jumped Out of the chair. Today they are raw, red & look infected. If I could share a picture I would. I’ll avoid this salon in the future.

I have been at this place 3 times (3 times manicure) and 1 pedicure. I really liked the pedicure but manicure is not the greatest. Today I was very disappointed. The lady rushed my manicure and shortened the whole time to 30 mins! Moreover she moved to Serbs another client while not even finished mine so another had to finish it!!! And I was not a walk in! The manicure was so inaccurately done!! Very disappointed Ah! Before I sat, I noticed that the table was not cleaned and there were smb else’s nails on the table! Gross!

For the first time in years, I decided to get white tips. I'm not sure where the best place to go in GP for nails are so I googled it and Prairie nails came up. Long story short, once the white tips were on, I asked the technician if she could draw orchid flowers on two of my nails, like in the giant picture that was hanging on the wall as a display. She right away answered yes. I asked if she could use different colors which she acknowledged. Then she drew what looked like a blob of colors with a white outline that resembled absolutely nothing like an orchid. I asked her to remove it. Which she complied. What she didn't do, was offer alternatives. She cleaned up my nails, put polish on and I was done. Kind of threw me off as I still wanted something nice, a decal or even someone more skilled that could possibly do it, but I got nothing. She made no attempt for any alternatives. I was pretty disappointed. I will not go back.

Cannot rate the pedicure I was booked for as it never happened:( But I can rate the experience I had with the staff. I had called over a week prior to my date that I wanted. The first gal I talked to I could not quite understand so I asked to speak with another staff member. I explained that I had never been to this spa but it came highly recommended by friends. I needed to be assured they were clean ( equipement) and that I was a diabetic and hoped they had professional staff that would take care not to cut or over file my toes. They said yes. But today, two days before my appointment they called to cancel. They said they would not be held responsible if my feet developed an infection. I asked if they are not accepting diabetic clients and they said a waiver would now need to be signed IF they know the client is diabetic. I did not have that choice to sign because apparently I stressed them by asking questions about cleanliness etc. Now I need to book elsewhere for the only day I have available on such short cancellation notice. I do not recommend if you have any concerns

Very professional place with very nice people. My sister and I came in for manicures and were welcomed with smiles. It was clean and beautiful in there as well. My nail technician named K was super polite and funny, he did an amazing job on my nails, probably my new favorite place to go to. We will be back again for sure!
