i ve been going to GP Physiotherapy for 4 weeks now. The staff are all very friendly and easy to work with. I have difficultis doing some of the exercises....they are quick to modify the exercise so I could continue on.... I highly recommend GP Physiotherapy. Also ...there location is easily accessible and there are no stairs or long hallways to walk down.

Staff are very professional and treatment is awesome. Walk away feeling greaer after each visit. Their massage therapists are amazing. You not only get a massage, you also feel relived from all the stress and knots your body may have that you didn't even know you had.

There are a few reasons why I give this 3 star rating. First, they are open until 8pm, which is excellent! But they will not accomodate a 90 min massage from 630 until 8pm, very disappointing. Second I had an hour long massage and came to my appointment with all the paperwork already filled out. I didn't get on the massage table until 15 min passed when my appointment was supposed to start, I figured ok i guess my appointment will end 15 minutes later considering she has nobody after me... Nope! It ended 5 min after. So I was ripped off 10 minutes! That's a HUGE deal when you literally pay PER MINUTE! The massage itself was excellent I left feeling much better, but that extra 10 minutes would have helped. The massage room was far from relaxing!! It was far from "state of the art soundproof" , you could hear everything outside the door, which is actually a lot of noise from machines.

Explains the exercises you need to do at home and makes sure you understand and also sends a link that has each exercise with a video ! Not impressed at their sanitation abilities. I've gone a few times now and finally had to write a review. Each time I've gone - The beds are dirty - Like an old leather vehicle seat that badly needs vacuuming. Dirt, crumbs, dust, hair, dander and whatever else is in the creases. It's like they don't even get wiped down... How hard is it to run a wet wipe down these creases of the table I'm laying down on or putting my face on? Obviously too hard to do between clients, too hard to do between days and even too hard to do between weeks! Plus there are piles of dirt and hair I can see on the base of the massage table when I lay on my stomach. Especially at a time of heightened hygiene practices, this place is bad even if there was not a pandemic going on. My therapist was quite pleasant. So there's that.

So happy to finally have a diagnosis of symptoms I have suffered from since childhood. Pleasant staff and overall experience with Physiotherapy. My assessment was thorough and I have been to multiple Rheumatologists and Physiotherapists in Toronto. Just grateful for the knowledge, experience and attention to the details with my complex symptoms. I wasn’t rushed through my symptoms and the therapist didn’t jump around from room to room. Very pleased with the cleanliness and COVID virtual front desk operator. Very cool!

I went into this place for physio after my surgery at first I found it great but as my treatment went on. I couldn't keep up with some of the things asked and the guy I had seemed to be short with me and I felt a little uncomfortable and didn't feel like coming back would be a great idea. I was only asked for a certain amount of treatments advised by my doctor & told me If I needed more than he advised and I was still in pain that I would need another surgery and further diagnosis. I felt like the physiotherapists just wanted me to keep coming in even though I told him exactly what my doctors advised. I just felt like they didn't listen to what I told them & getting the snarky comments like it was my fault really pushed me to never want to go back there again!

I was in massage therapy session yesterday with Robert Hinson, found out that its not worth your money to get your massage with him, it was like he barely touch your skin.. its not what therapy you can called. I got one hour massage and it felt me nothing, it just like no massage was done.. He knows that I need therapy not mild rubbing. the worst massage experience I ever have..this would be the last. I cant afford to get a massage again with him.

I have received physiotherapy at Grande Prairie Physiotherapy & Massage. Their laser therapy was magical and helped to reduce my pain during the first few visits. Their staff are extremely professional and talented. Time and care goes into tailoring a plan to meet your personal needs and training goals. After each session they email you with the exercises discussed. Bonus, they submit directly to your insurance provider on your behalf. This is a ultimate professional physiotherapy clinic and there is nothing I would change about this health care facility! I will highly reccomend to my family and friends.

These folks are great. I've been dealing with chronic lower back pain for around 8 months, during this time I've seen 3 different physiotherapists, none of which have been able to help me anywhere . I'm still on the mend, but since I started working with them I've gone from being unable to sit for more than 15 minutes and struggling to sleep more than 3 hours at a time, to being able to do full days at the office and sleeping all through the night without any trouble at all. It's not an exaggeration to say it's been a life changing improvement. I'm more confident that I'll get back to 100% than I've ever been before, I look forward to my physiotherapy sessions and would strongly recommend anyone to Grande Prairie Physiotherapy & Massage.

Best Physio in Grande Prairie! They take their time to determine your injury, and then do a great job of explaining what's going on so it's easy to understand. It really gives me confidence in the treatment they decide to proceed with, knowing that both physiotherapist and me are both working with the same information. I've been to this clinic for a few injuries, and with their care, I've been able to fully recover and get back to my normal activities. I've referred a number of friends and coworkers here, and they have all been very happy with the service they've received. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for treatment.

I called to book an appointment for a therapeutic massage as I have a bone disease and had had a fall. I am in constant pain and was looking for some relief. The receptionist did not seem very interested in helping me and then asked of she could call me back in a few minutes (said she needed to check if they direct billed to my insurance company). That was yesterday. I feel that she blew me off. ****Interestingly enough they called me back shortly after I posted this review and left a voicemail. Why would I bother to call them back? I've already scheduled an appointment with another clinic who went out of their way to fit me in asap due to the nature of my pain and bone issues.

Well I could barely bend over a touch my knees and have just ignored the pain in my back, my wife went here for her sciatic and they helped her out, no issues. My assessment went good, he was thorough with his assessment, he explained what was the issue was and how he would like to treat my issue. I've only gone to 2 appointments and I can almost bend over and touch mid shins. Friendly staff , very gentle allways makes sure your comfortable and know what he is doing, knows what he is doing and how to get the job done. I highly recommend going here if you have lower back pain that you've ignored for a long time. I cant wait for my next few appointments so that I can touch my toes which I have not done in 20 plus years.

Had a few back to back issues with GP physio. I did have a good physiotherapist there, but she ended up moving away. Which is fine, they gave me a new physiotherapist. She seemed knowledgeable and I was excited to see what improvements we could make. We had been visiting GP Physio and Massage for approx 5-6 months. I was in a bad motorcycle accident and have random, uncontrollable severe nerve pain in my left leg, usually persisting from 1-3 days. I've had to miss appointments before, but we've always been good at giving 12-24 hours heads up for our cancellations, and every single place we've been to has been very understanding (I see alot of different doctors and therapists). We also live out of town so traveling in takes 20-30 mins. When it hit -40 for two weeks straight, we pretty much canceled all of our appointments and stayed in due to the cold and random nerve pain attacks. When it came time to rebook, we booked a massage to start things off slow. They called the night before the appointment, saying we needed to confirm bookings from that point forward due to cancelling too many appointments WITHOUT notice. Which simply did not hsppen, we've always called in if unable to make it. I never got a voicemail notification, showed up for the appointment just as the text reminder said, and found it had been overwritten and the appt was canceled. There are lots of other places in town that will not pull stuff like this, and will be understanding of your individual situation.

Just rude and I’m sure she was talking about me . I asked about massage at the clinic , she just rolled her eyes and said “I wouldn’t “. That’s a great way to promote your work place . Never again.

This is the best place in town to go for physiotherapy. I recently injured my lower back and was able to get in for a physio appointment the day I called. Avi was the physiotherapist who took care of me and he did an excellent job easing my discomfort and pain through ice packs, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, and manipulating the area with massage. He had me visit five times over the course of two weeks, and with each session, I noticed improvement. He was very kind, constantly checked on me, and listened to my feedback. This place will give you a treatment PLAN to work on, which is very helpful and gives you an idea of when the physiotherapy will end. They will also give you exercises to work on so that you can strengthen the problem area and try to prevent re-injury. The receptionist is nice and friendly, and the place is quite clean as well. Highly recommended.
