The massage itself provided by Tamara was very good, however I am not a fan of their pricing structure after the first visit. They have a plan for 1 massage a month for 6 months, and 1 massage a month for a year. Otherwise it's $100 per. I would commit to 6 over a year, but it's not offered, so I doubt I'll be back.

Pleasent greeting as you walk in. I started going in Jan 2018 reluctantly as I didn't feel comfortable with the idea of getting massages. Now over a year later I look forward to my deep tissue massage and book my next appointment before I get my massage. I recommend Renee to everyone I know.

I really enjoy this massage therapy clinic, it is close to home and I’ve been a client for several massage therapists there, I find them to all be patient and respectful, and I’ve had no issues with requesting amounts of pressure to be increased or decreased. I attend appointments regularly and have never had an issue with cancellations and find the clinic to be very accommodating with booking. They also direct bill which makes insurance a million times easier!

It was my first time at Massage addicts and I had THE best massage of my life !!!. It was amazing and I can’t wait for my next one. The place is great and very clean. The rooms are peaceful, and the music is very relaxing, like a spa. I injured my right shoulder and Melanie, the Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) knew exactly how to apply just the right amount of pressure in the right place. Extremely knowledgeable and very professional. You can easily book online and don’t let the word membership scare you away. Check it out. You may find you really won’t want to leave. The only risk is wanting to stay. I highly recommend Massage Addict. Don’t go to any other place. This is the best !!!

A corporate chain for massage? Hard pass. While there are *some* talented RMTs here, it's like comparing a home-cooked meal to terrible fast food. Corporations don't care about their employees, their quality, what goes into their training and like most, exploit their employees to make the chain richer and this is apparent at Massage Addict. Please do yourself a favour and find someone who is independent with a good rep, places like this need to disappear.

My biggest complaint is the high turnover rate here. It seems every time you get a RMT you really like, they end up leaving :( However, what I love about Massage Addicts is that the prices are good, it's a great booking process online, and they are all super friendly and professional.

Really recommend becoming a member here. Pushes you to get your regular massage and stay maintained. It means you work together with your massage therapist in a really collaborative way. Comfy couch in the waiting area. Massage bed things are comfy, always with very fresh feeling sheets. Covid is taken very seriously. Staff is always friendly and helpful. And the therapist I see (liette) is very knowledgeable, friendly, and talented.

Great place. Be sure you know where it is as the address is for the entire block. Google was only a little but if a help unless they have updated it. I have had massages from two different masseuses who were both very friendly. They are more than willing to work different muscles at varying depths to get out all the kinks. The front receptionist has to be noted here. She is always wonderful when I go. She answers every silly question I ask and makes you feel right at home. She always has a smile for everyone coming and going. Two thumbs up for her.

Sarah Pardy provided an experience that is hard to put into words. She listened to my issues and then created an approach that targeted areas I didn't even realize were the problem. I am fairly body aware and thought I had an idea on facia release but this was the BEST session I have had for some of my neck/back/shoulder tension out of all of the services I do (Chiro, osteo, physic) - I will go back and I loved that she gave me some of my own release techniques I could do. This was not the 'traditional' lay of your front & have someone work your shoulders - this was PURE release of tension. Thank you Sarah.

I had my first visit with Massage Addict and will say it will be my last. The massage therapist that provided my 60 minute massage (although a very sweet woman) was all over the place! When she started my massage she spent a good 20 minutes asking me about my life. When her hands finally were on my back long enough, I could barely feel them except for how cold they were. She would start with a shoulder then to a leg then to arm, then to leg, leaving some areas exposed and not covered by the blanket. I was seriously confused on her process!! As I have had many massages throughout my life, I know therapist have a routine they follow. This was not!!! At one point she was massaging my head with one hand in the same spot for much too long, while she told me a story with her other hand. She realized she was babbling on, and laughed and said "oops, I do that a lot". I was so uncomfortable and felt so awkward. During the massage I asked her a few times to put more pressure as I couldn't feel it. She said she would but that never happened. Near the end, she massaged one foot on the right and one hand on the left, totally forgetting the others. Needless to say, I couldn't wait for it to be finished. It felt like this was the first client this therapist has ever had and was maybe nervous or not trained properly. When I was done, I went to pay and asked the receptionist "Did you book me in with a registered therapist or a relaxation massage technician?". She replied "We are all registered". Good to know as I won't be back if that's the level of "registered" you want for your clientele.

Brittany R. Is an amazing Deep Tissue RMT, she is super friendly, and hits all of the right spots! My husband and I have been going to her for years and have been committed members 1 - 2 times a month. I have also been to the Reflexologist Bernadette and she is also very good and makes you feel so relaxed. They also direct bill to your insurance so you dont have to pay ahead, which is awesome.

I am never EVER going to any massage addict again. I got a rash on my neck, shoulders, and arms within 30 minutes of my massage at the Bank street location. The staff was rude. The massage therapist told me I was obese and should exercise more out of the blue. Save yourself trouble and emotional anguish and go anywhere else. These people are incompetent jerks.

It's a good place, massage was great. But I found each time I go the massage starts later than the scheduled time but ends on time. For example appointment is 1pm to 2pm, they suggest you arrive a few minutes early. Once you're in the room and they ask you to get undressed to what you're comfortable, takes the person a long time to come back in to start the massage. So massage starts maybe 10min later than 1pm but ends at exactly 2pm. So I don't know, I go back because the massage is great and they offer prenatal massages, I find myself not tipping more than I'd like to because I feel a bit cheated on the massage time. I know 10min may not be a lot of time but if I've arrived few minutes early to register etc, I'd also appreciate the appointment to start on time.

I would rate this place as 1 or less. I mentioned i am having neck tension and shoulder pain. However, nothing was done to make me feel better. I was not even provided with full body massage. Apart from that, i was late only 5 mins. Yet received only 44 mins massage and paid for 1 hr massage. The therapist was polite but I didn’t like her work, i was expecting that it would be something professional. Wont recommend it to anyone. Just waste of time and money.

And of course my masseuse is great at identifying problem areas and offers helpful tips to help loosen up between visits.

I went back after 4 years. The service had deteriorated significantly. I parked my car at 11:10 and my "one-hour" massage was done by 12:09. when I asked about it, they said the one hour is from the time you come through the door! For me, it included taking winter boots off, filling in questionnaire, wait time, and getting changed in the massage room! There were signs to remove boots, which is understandable, however they did not provide slippers and there was some salt and water strains/ drops on the floor! The staff were polite and professional, however the attitude made you feel like you are at a doctor office for an appointment, rather than a spa for a relaxing and pampered experience!

Signed up for the yearly 1 hr massages. Appointment were rarely on time, ex. Appointment at 2 pm you would be greeted by your therapist about 2:10pm and massage would not start till 2:20 and finish by 3. That's not an hour. Reasons they gave me was because the client before me was late arriving . So I got short on my time. Had several therapists a couple had poor oral hygiene that smelled horrid or body odour . That's why I never went back . No professional. One therapist diagnosed me with scoliosis of spine. Saw a back specialist and explained what I was told..first massage therapist are not Drs therefore cannot diagnose second my back is very straight. Lost all respect for this place with my experiences.

Have been going here for a few months now, self care at its best. They have gotten busier as of late so it is much more difficult to book same or next day appts. I never get the same person and each time the therapists have been great. I always feel much better leaving than arriving! I signed up for a treatment monthly and this reduced the overall price per visit, a great offer and commitment to self care!

She really cared about my wellbeing and went through the steps of a therapeutic massage with me, even going over the alloted 1 hour to teach me some stretches that could benefit me in the long run. Beware, if the receptionists book you for one time and tell you another you will be billed for a missed appointment. I had 2 times where I showed for my scheduled appointment and was told the therapist was sick and I live 30min out of town. I also had an appointment cut short because the therapist had to leave because she was throwing up. I didn't complain because things happen but when I was billed for a missed appointment because I was told the wrong day I was not happy. It is so difficult to get appointments in the evenings and weekend too because they don't have enough staff and allow people to book as many as they want ahead then expect you to go on a cancellation list that they don't call you from. The manager wasn't very quick to return my calls either. Don't sign up for a membership you can go to a regular massage therapist and not have to commit to once a month appointments that you can't get scheduled due to lack of appointment times available .

I would actually give a rating of 3.5, but since I can't give it a rating of 4 I gave it a 3. I too have had several appts cancelled but I have only gotten several hours notice. They expect that you give them several days notice if you cancel, but when they cancel they only give you hours notice, not very client friendly if you ask me‼ On the times when I have gotten in to have a massage i have been very happy with the experience. My daughter has also enjoyed her massages as well. They need to figure out what to do when their workers call in sick.

I Had a great massage! At first I thought an hour long massage is a long massage, but the time went so fast. I have a lot of pain in my neck and the day I went in for my massage my neck was hurting more than usual. I told Eva, the RMT, about the pain so she spent quite a while focusing on my neck area. By the time the massage was over all the pain in my neck was gone. On a normal day I would have taken pain medication, but I decided not to that day to see how helpful the massage might be. I was surprised how much it helped. Also, the stress relief for the rest of my body was worth far more than the price of the massage! I will be a return customer for sure.

I have been at this place twice. Both times I received great massages and there a treatment done to help with my stretching and posture. I felt great. I am considering finding a place because they have canceled on me for two months now. They called me 45 minutes before my appointment each with the same excuse. " Your therapist just called in sick" work police should and is 2-3 hours before work. Very disappointed with the level of service on that front. I am currently shopping around.

Not happy with my experience at all. Right when I walked in the receptionist was extremely unfriendly. My massage was not the best but the lady was very kind.Once the massage was over I was told they could not bill to my insurance because the massage therapist was new? It would have been nice to have been told this at the beginning of my appointment or to have been called and told this in Advance. Overall I thought this was a very unfriendly environment and subpar service for the cost they are charging. this was my first and last time I will be coming to massage addict.

She was very professional and courteous and I feel loose as a goose today! The receptionist is very friendly as well. I'd recommend this spot if you're looking for a very therapeutic experience!

Absolutely amazing experience. I got the hour long introduction massage for $50 and I'm seriously considering the year long membership. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean and relaxing. It's a $100 experience for $50 and it's incredible. Maria, my massuese heated the bed, and worked with a large heatpack throughout the massage, which is SO relaxing. I fell asleep multiple times. She gave me a thorough assessment and worked on my trouble areas, taking out knots in the gentlest way possible, though I usually need very deep, painful massages to remove them. She even gave me recommendations for how to use massage techniques at home for trouble areas. AND to top it off, I'm not even sore the next day, and the pain and tension I had for weeks have all but gone. TLDR: an over the top exceptional massage experience for $50 which is usually $100. Seriously considering the year long Membership

Great service, today is my second visit in this month. I had a neck pain from last one week. First massage was with Mary. She was really good. Second one was with Karlee. She was incredible. She focus on the all the point where I was having pain. She also showed me some stretching exercises. After the massage I am really feeling good. Neck pain is almost gone.

I usually visit this location to get my massage done. My last visit was in January and i was very disappointed when after getting my massage done the receptionist had told me that i can not use my insurance because the therapist is new and her license isn't transferred yet which made no sense to me and i feel like she should have td me that prior to my appointment. Now i had no option but to pay and claim it later. However, the receptionist said she can call me once the license is transferred and she can reverse the payment and claim it for me which was very much appreciated but i never received that phone call. It was very unprofessional she shouldn’t have said it if she was not gonna follow through. Never visiting again.

The great thing about the $49.99 introductory massage is that it allows you to get a feel for the space and the quality of the service and I certainly was not disappointed! Ive had tons of massages else where and feel I know the difference between a relaxation massage and a RMT massage. Mine was a relaxation massage. Her hands were very cold, and not enough oil or pressure was applied. She seemed rush. The music was very low making it kind of awkward we could hear my tummy rumbling. When we flipped over to do my neck my blankets were not adjusted and my feet were sticking out blanketless getting really cold. I attempted to adjust and didn't get any help. The neck massage was really light and she failed to get the front and back of my neck. She just focused on the sides. Upon paying a tipping option appears , this was also very uncomfortable. I was charged for 1 hr and received 45 mins of massage time. Would not recommend.

As others have said, the membership program is a rip off. The average cost of most massage places is about $80, and they don't require you to commit every month or keep your credit card number on file. Also, they are very pushy about the membership. The decor is good. The music is pleasant. The therapists are hit and miss. Some are definitely better than others. Also some of the rooms smell like rotten fish, probably because it's right next to Joey's Seafood. All in all steer clear. There are better massage clinics in Winnipeg.

Customers have 24 hours strict cancellation policy. But their massage therapist cancelled very often and give a very short notice to customers. They left voice massage just 3 hours before my appointment. They cancelled three times since I became a member in this Oct at the Kildonan Crossing location. Poor Service and Not professional!!

BE very, very careful when signing a contract with this company! Read every word carefully. I signed a contract and fulfilled it, never missing an appointment. After I had the required 12 massages, I didn't ask them to stop charges to my credit card and before I knew it there was almost $600 dollars charged against my card! I never once had the opportunity to speak with someone telling me this although they say they left messages and emails that were never heard or opened. They even charged one more after I spoke with them about what they were doing! The owner would absolutely not reverse any of charges on my credit card. I'm done with this company and have learned a valuable lesson at great expense.

One of the worst masssages i have ever had. Theres a sign that says keep your phone turned off and all i heard for the hour massage was 2 woman talking and the crinkling of the therapist gloves. There was no pressure to the massage. I can get more out of an acupuncture clinic. there was no questions of pressure or anything. It was also supposed to be an hour and i was dressed and done under the time. For a first time visit that will be a last.
