I went with almost 10 families and had a great experience. I like the room conditions(excellent), and swimming pools and specially Indoor one. All amenities are well maintained and neat and clean. Owner is very kind and great customer service provided. I had TV issue in my room and it was solved within 10 minutes. One must go and stay and enjoy there. The Owner Viraj is very friendly.

We had a great experience at Colonial resort and spa!! The staff is super helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. If you need a place to stay when visiting thousand islands/Gananoque, this is THE PLACE.

I visited this place a year ago, and today 2021 all the furniture is as it is in poor condition, the TV screen is old, I can’t make a connection from the phone or computer to watch Netflix or movies, the internet doesn’t work, the outdoor pool is kinda good but the indoor pool is dirty and the jacuzzi water is dirty and chlorine Plenty of indoor swimming pool, old fridge, old air conditioning, many insects here, and the best thing is the coffee machine inside the bathroom lol

Had a wonderful time there. Some facilities and amenities like indoor pool and spa are closed due to covid regulations but its proximity in town and its location on a calm and quiet place makes it a must stay. Walking distance to heart of the town and waterfront. They had the outdoor pool open though. The staff was very welcoming and their hospitality was great. Rooms were clean and justified for the price you pay. Would definitely recommend it for overnight stays.

The cleanliness of the pool and pool area. It was close to all restaurants, and sites to see. The staff were very helpful and friendly. And the atmosphere was very relaxing. The bed was comfy!

We had an issue with bugs on and in our bed. They were very blasé about it and offered me another room, but I was very uncomfortable and not willing to stay, so we left. Called the next day about a possible refund and was basically told, too bad.

the place looks nice from the outside, the rooms are decent but can only give 2 stars. First of all, headline says 'hotel with free continental breakfast'. It's not a hotel, it's a motel. And dont say 'no breakfast because of covid'. Other hotels still have continental breakfast, nothing to do with a 'pandemic'. 2nd, electrical is very old, almost no plugs and lamp by bed is broken. Third, indoor pool not heated but not bad, problem is dirty towels from Sunday were still in the bins on Monday morning, no fresh towels at all. So after swimming no towels to dry off, do they expect us to use dirty towels or just get dressed while soaking wet?

Zero stars for this dump. Plumbing in shower was broken, room sucked, bed was uncomfortable and they took two nights off our card instead of one, even though we cancelled our first night days before our stay. DO NOT waste your money staying at this hotel from hell.

It's pretty decent for a motel! Breakfast staff is wonderful and friendly! The female dishwasher was something though, hovering over us waiting to go home.... yikes!
