My wife booked a simple trim through their website and was paired up with a "Level 4" stylist automatically. A trim with no wash or blow dry cost 50$ because of the level of stylist that she was paired up with by the website. I would understand if more complicated techniques were done to justify the price but that was not the case. She had no say in which stylist she booked though the website and therefore was charged a ridiculously high price for a haircut that lasted all of 5 mins. We have always had good service from the hair stylists but can longer justify continuing to go to this Salon considering what they charge for a simple trim.

Came in to get a trim and bangs. Hairdresser cut my hair unevenly( some bits were 5 inches whereas others were 1 inch) and she didn't even cut me some bangs. She basically told me that I would have to flip my hair when I get out of the shower and use a diffuser with my hairdryer. If I wanted to give myself bangs, I would of done it myself. She didn't even dry my hair afterwards!! It was winter and I left with wet hair. Do not recommend this place at all. On top of it all, it's super overpriced for the quality provided.

My appointment was Dec 12, the simple men's cut was uneven on the side burns, this was my second appointment at this salon. I am a 66 year old, my first appointment was $28, tip included, this time it was $38, tip included,($5.00), same for both cuts. As far as I am concerned, as my dear mother used to say, "there is more than one way to steal from an individual". Shame on Head Shoppe, taking money from a senior, but it will be the last time.

Chloe Was my stylist, she listened to me, looked at the photos I brought, and together we decided on the best haircut for me. She was absolutely professional And it was a fantastic experience. My haircut turned out better than I could have ever expected.. If you're in search of the best balayage of your life, visit Chris Carr. I've been getting my hair coloured for 15+ years and have finally found my stylist soulmate! Chris is professional, incredibly talented, and a totally nice guy.. plus if you trust him to do his thing (i.e., don't micro-manage his process) he will deliver a truly beautiful blend and tones to die for. I notice some reviewers have commented on pricing, but IMO you get what you pay for - and it is 100% worth it!!

I was not impressed at all with my experience at the head shop. The hairdresser, who had years of experience, was unable to make my hair match on both sides. I have hair that is easy to cut; it has long layers and a little bit of face framing. I’ve never experienced a problem having it cut before. I was simply looking to get the dead ends trimmed off and she ended up doing one side nice and the other side was completely choppy. She was unable to fix it and didn’t seem to know how to fix it. She could tell I was visibly upset and offered me only a little discount, when I got to the cash I told the girl there that I wanted a larger discount because she had screwed up my hair so badly. She did give me a 50% discount but I was still upset about the whole ordeal. On a sidenote, I would like to mention that this hairdresser did not even massage my scalp when I was having my hair washed. That is something that I look most forward to during a haircut. She barely scrubbed my hair and lots of my hair was still dry, she hadn’t even wet it it all the way through. Needless to say I was not impressed and I won’t be returning to this shop.

I've never actually received a haircut from these folks, but I've been in lots to buy Reuzel Pomade as they have a good selection. The staff I've dealt with have been very friendly and good and helped me immensely in picking out a hair straightener for my girlfriend for Christmas as well as some stocking stuffer ideas all which went over wonderfully. Oh and if you work at the mall you save tax!

Went to hairstylist Chris for almost 3 years. Did everything from cuts to colour over that period of time. His rates or the salons rates did increase over this time and with being a student, I could no longer afford his services. I started going to a different hairstylist that was more in my price range. I had posted pictures on my Instagram account and tagged my new stylist. Very shortly after Chris blocked me off of his business insta account. Extremely unprofessional and rude.
