I booked a birthday party for my daughter and her friends to get manicures, and they forgot that we were coming! When I called them to see where they were they wanted us to wait 45 minutes until they got there, NO THANKS!! I will never go there for anything now! THERE SHOULD BE AN OPTION FOR ZERO STARS!!

Went in for an $8 removal and left with a torn bloody thumb nail.. they still made me pay and for some reason it cost almost $17... We won't be returning.

So far I've been there 5 times and I will continue to keep Nail Matrix as my salon of choice. I am always a walk-in due to my schedule, only once did it feel rushed but they were very busy and fit me in. I am happy with the pedicures I receive there. I am especially happy with the callous removal. The one star removed is for two things: 1. The floor around the pedicure chairs have water damage and is spongy. The only thing stopping a foot from poking through is the linoleum. 2. There is not a great selection of shellac nail polish. (Lots of regular polish) As you can see this is not enough to give it a bad rating because the service is very good.

Great little spot! Call ahead to get a slot open for you, like everywhere around here they are busy. They were so friendly and did such a wonderful job on my nails, and reasonably priced! Not sure why some reviews on here are so dramatically inaccurate... if you want your nails done well and friendly service with tones of colour options, go here.

Nail Matrix is the only nail salon in Ridgeway, Ontario where customer can be served in English, French, Spanish, Chinese & Vietnamese. The ambiance & decor is very nice with romantic music in the atmosphere.

I HAVE BEEN TO THE ONE IN PORT COLBORNE THEY TAKE 2HRS TO DO A SET OF NAILS THE LAST TIME I WENT WITHIN 1 DAY NAIL BROKE, 2 DAYS LATER ANOTHER ONE 4 DAYS LATER ANOTHER ONE, NOT SURE WHY THEY WOULD OPEN ANOTHER LOCATION IN WELLAND MAYBE CONCENTRATE ON THE ONES YOU HAVE MYSELF AND A FRIEND OF MINE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE,THEY ARE VERY SLOW, PUSHY AND DONT LISTEN TO WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Nails look so crappy it looks like my 6 year old sister painted them while have a seizure. Never going back and now my day is ruined. I think my dog could paint better nails. There is more nail polish on my skin than in my nails. The lady gave me a nasty look when she thought I smudged it when really she did. She also sat in the corner without shoes on eating crackers. Not heckin happy.

I had a pedicure earlier this week and will never go back. To start off they sad 20 minutes and it was more like 40. It was in the 80’s outside and it was so hot in the salon either they don’t have ac or they didn’t have it on, very uncomfortable. The patron next to me complained several times I don’t think the worker understood English because she didn’t say anything. When Tina asked me to put my feet in the basin she didn’t test the water and it was so hot I had to ask 3 times to add cold water. The whole pedicure lasted 15 minutes. My feet were not dirty but when I looked in the basin it was filthy. The whole salon was not well kept as well in fact I felt it was dirty. I left with oil dripping from toes she didn’t even wipe it off more worried about getting my feet in my sanders I would suggest not going for a thing there. They are more about getting people in then quality

People are friendly but there were 3 of the worker's kids in the salon. One was in a car seat a cried at times. The other 2 kids tried to entertain the one crying, played the recorder and rang a bell a lot. It was not a peaceful experience. It is a clean place. The polish ran out so I have a slightly different colour on my other foot. They don't put as many coats of products on the polish so I don't know how long it will last? Oh, and cash only. Will go elsewhere next time.

We were visiting the area from out of town and wanted to get a pedicure. I honestly have zero positive things to say about our experience. All 3 of us had tingly legs/feet from the foot bath (that had no liner for sanitation,) so no idea what that was about. One person seemed to be the owner and was quicker than the other. The second genuinely seemed like they had no idea what they were doing. When using a file on my toe nails they actually filed so hard I had a full cut in my toe nail. I had to pull away and tell them to stop. All of our toe nails were so deeply rounded when they should should straight cut, we are all going to have unpleasant ingrowns for sure. I don't want anyone else to make our mistake. They are not worth your money and nail health.

I have used this place 4 times, each time thinking that the next time might be better! No!!! Never again. Each time I go she cuts almost every single finger, Friday she took a chunk out of my finger and blood was everywhere. I told her to get rid of the tool with blood and all she did was wipe it off. To use on the next person. Getting my toe nails done is a balancing act, with her under the table and my foot on a small trash can. She uses the same brush to brush my hands off as she does to brush the floor.. The place is disgusting and she only takes cash and still charges tax. She should be closed down!!!

Nail Matrix is amazing. I see Tina to have my lashes, brows and nails done regularly and I get a pedicure supreme every 3 weeks. Tina is the best for lash extensions and nails that I have been to and I have been to a few. Before I found Tina I went through 3 lash extension salons in 9 months. Her prices are amazing and her attention to detail and the way you, each specific customer, likes things done are unbeatable. I highly recommend nail matrix and Tina, if I could give 7 stars I would!!!!

my experience at this place wasn't the best because of how rough she was on my nails like I went home and there was two blood spots and my pinky finger I couldn't move cuz it hurts so much. even though I especially asked her to go gentle because my nails are sensitive. and the other thing is my middle finger is crooked. but overall my nails look amazing and I do think they did a pretty good job they just need to go a bit not so harsh.

I got a pedicure and they told me to walk across the floor bare footed, she didn’t measure my nails, when I told her I wanted medium long she made them really short, I have nail polish everywhere but my nails, a lot of the nail polishes were empty, when I asked her to match the polish to a picture she told me to go pick a different colour, she kept filing my fingers instead of my nails. Over priced, and they don’t know what they’re doing. never going back their again.

Sadly my my experience at this salon was not great (with my nails) I am visiting and wanted to have ME time for a bit. The ladies at the salon are nice and the salon is really pretty but I couldn’t even have a back massage because the chair wouldn’t work (which I was fine with it). They treat me nice but my nails (Gel “shellac” “last 3 weeks”) were ruined the same day (not even 4 hrs later) and NOPE no water on them since I’m on vacation I am not doing much with my hands. I went the next day and they “fixed” them but still same day again my “shellac” was gone I wish I could have waited to get back home to my regular guy. I am not sure if it just at this salon but I am used to get a massage with my pedicure and my manicure and get lotion on them and didn’t received either. I really wish my experience with my nails was different.
