I bought my tub from Jake back in March. They made the purchase super easy and the installation painless, I was up and running by the time I got home from work! The warranty coverage has been second to none- any time I have a question, am unsure how to use anything, or just pop in, they're super friendly and responsive. I broke a jet and popped down to get the part to have it replaced, they put a service call in, and before I could get home about an hour later, the hot tub was fixed and good to go!

Their service sucks!!! Bought the hot tub almost 3 years ago. The hot is tripping the breaker. I call and talked to someone and they told me that they don’t have anyone in the area the repair them in central Newfoundland. They would have to get a few work orders before they send someone out. So that means to me that we got your money and tuff if you have problems! We have a few friends are thinking about getting a hot tub and I tell them go to Gander it’s closer for service. Now we can use a hot tub we payed a lot of money for because of the service! ????

The maintenance is easy but having the ability to walk in the door with a water sample and recieve a print out of what you need to bring you tub back to superior, it worth it's weight in gold. This is not available with most tubs on the market.

We bought our tub in March of 2015 as a package which included everything to start up including two luxurious robes. Of course they were on back order. It is now the middle of January 2016 and we still don't have them. We have been back to the store at least 15 times and we're even told once that the robes had my name on it behind the counter just pick them up. Guess what, I went in and there were no robes. It may not seem like that big of a deal but if it is this hard to get something so small I can only imagine how it will be when we have a real issue.

I was particularly impressed by how they dealt with supply issues at the start of the pandemic. I had my worst buying experience up to date with Bubba's tub. I went to the store at the end of April and "purchased" a hot tub that was supposed to be delivered in 3-4 weeks and put a concrete slab beneath in 2 weeks. After 1 month and not doing the concrete slab and not delivering the hot tub and more than 10 phone calls throughout the month, I've been told that Bubba's Tub got into a problem with Hydropool (their manufacturer) and they have no idea when the hot tub is going to be delivered. I spoke to them more than 10 times during the month and nobody told me that the delivery is going to be delayed. Would not recommend to any one. All staff and owners, including Lacy, Jake and Greg told me lies after lies after lies. Update Based on the Bubba's tub answer: First of all, you didn't provide any other options as mentioned in the answer. The last time that we talked, you said we're still try to resolve the issue with the manufacturer and we don't know still when it's going to be delivered. Also, I did not order a custom hot tub and I chose from the existing hot tubs that were going to be delivered in 3-4 weeks. That was exactly the reason that I didn't choose the color that I wanted, because I was told it's going to take a lot of time. I can completely understand the situation because of the Covid19 and as I said, I just needed honesty and straight answers. Also you didn't mention anything about the concrete slab situation and what I had to go through for a week until I get an answer. I only wanted Honesty and that's it.

The one thing I really appreciate is being told the truth of what the problem was, how long for parts etc... Basically they all do what they say they will do.

Customer service at Bubba Tubs is, and always has been, 2nd to none... if you took a page out of the customer service manual, Bubbas would be 1st on the list... it's amazing how knowledgable Greg and his team are when it comes to hot tubs! I swear that they all have a degree in chemistry in order to help customers maintain their water balance. On top of this, they seem to only sell top quality products. And unlike other hot tub dealers around, they DO NOT turn you away if you purchased your hot tub else where! They are only too glad to help you with your hot tub, test your water and suggest the proper treatment... you are treated like you actually bought your tub there... (I did by mine at Bubbas, but experienced first hand, poor customer service from their competitor when I dropped in to pick up some chemicals because I was closer to them at the time... due to the poor service because I didnt purchase my tub from them, I walked out and drove all the way across town to get what I needed) Keep up the exceptional service Bubba!

When we first looked at their hot tubs, they were great. Answered questions, helped us pick colours, ect. Our trouble began once they had our money. I told them I had a party coming up and wanted the hot tub delivered before hand. They assured me this would be fine. I arranged people to help move it in place (which they said I needed), an electrician to hook it up, everything. Then they tell me they can't guarantee it'll be there in time. Ok, they said they'll call to ensure someone was home so that it can be moved where I would like. I came home to find it sitting on my back deck, still in the box. I took the box off myself, tried to put together the steps, got the electrician out to hook it up and called to tell them that some set up would have been nice. The owner informed me set up should have been done and set up a time for them to come screw the pieces that would keep the top on in place. The gentlemen comes over, only screw on two of the four connectors saying that was fine. Fast forward a year and a half and the top blows off everytime it gets windy since it only has two connectors. I emailed them a month and a half ago to get the tub serviced. No response. Emailed again asking if someone would respond, email from owner saying someone would be in touch shortly. Two days later email asking if Wednesday was good. Responded with yes, here is my cell. Well today is Wednesday evening and they still have not shown up to service my hot tub. Once this company gets your money, the service stops. Will never deal with them again. July 11th update, June 19th they told me the part was ordered and would take 10 days to get here. I have emailed twice and called and left messages, no response. Finally stopped in and they had never even ordered the part. Do NOT Buy from this company.

The person that came to troubleshoot was quick and knew what he was doing. He deserves 5 stars. My only complaint is that the spa pack That I bought from Bubba’s didn’t come with instructions, I had installed the circ pump plug in the same spot as the old spa pack which was the wrong spot. Update: they charged me 200 bucks(+tax) for the 10 min the guy was here. Seems a bit of a scam to sell you something with no instructions. The spa pack looks exactly the same as the old one, so that is the way I hooked it up. Then charge you 200 bucks for the guy to unplug the circ pump and plug it in to the next outlet. I’m not a big fan of this, beware. Update #2: 200 bucks for 1.5 hour service call, which is the minimum, is 133 dollars an hour, seems like a lot. I did get some details with the pack, the lady who sold it to me handed me a sheet with the software codes on it, so i got half the instructions.

They are not pushy, give honest advice, and even when I opted to purchase a used Hydropool unit instead of a new one from their showroom they still went the extra mile to help me learn about, move and setup the tub. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else!

It's tough to get anything these days... I called almost every supplier on the island and not only was Bubba's one of the few places with tubs, they also do truck delivery and placement without an extra fee. Very easy to work with and quickly responded to my questions. Highly recommend!

We are new customers of Bubbas having just purchased and installed our Hydropool hot tub a few months ago as part of our backyard deck makeover. Greg helped us select the tub that was best for us and visited our house to give guidance on location and setup. Our contractor dealt directly with Bubbas for installation. All went smoothly and we have been enjoying our tub ever since. We take advantage of the monthly water testing service and their experienced staff are always available to answer questions. We love our tub!

Once upon a time I would have given them a 5 star rating but we have had a poor experience with our second tub from Bubba’s and the customer service appears to have slipped quite a bit. We leave messages with no return call, have asked to speak to the owner with no return call so it is becoming very frustrating.

We have both a hot tub and swim spa from Bubba's tubs. The service that we have received from all the staff at Bubba's Tubs has been second to none. The Covana Cover that we purchased for our Hot Tub has completely changed our hot tub experience. We are able to use our hot tub now in all inclement weather and absolutely LOVE IT. When ever we have a question, it's just a matter of a simple phone call and the staff is always so willing to help us. Recently, we had an issue with our spa and we live out of town. We had two days until our daughter's birthday party where the kids were to be swimming. With the help and expertise of Bubba's Tub we got our swim spa back up and running in less then 24hrs, the pool heated to 95 degrees, our daughter was over the moon and her friends were so excited to swim at the end of October. Once the transaction was complete they seemed to have forgotten that they just made a sale in the 5 digits, and took a week and a half to finish set up (which we ended up doing) and deliver the steps.
