Sunita and Sukhi were incredible and very helpful! Especially considering it was my first time ever getting a massage. I've been dealing with neck and shoulder issues; woke up today feeling great. Best bday gift I could've asked for! Thank you, Sunita and Sukhi!

Frequently visit this Spa for massages...must say that this is one spa i recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and calming experience with the staff being polite and professional...There is also an added bonus to this spa...it has a swimming pool! ..and you can use it on ANY visit ! Great experience every timei have gone there.

They have the most non-sense Buytopia deal ever! They offer a $59 couples massage as part of a Valentines promo, yet Feb 14th is a "blackout" day for them...really? That's shady marketing if you ask me.

I've been going to Zen Spa for the past year and half now, and service the ladies simply amazing. They have such a amazing attitude to their clients, it almost make you not want to leave even if you session is complete. there such a friendly environment when you first walk in and prices are reasonably.i highly recommend it to any person for quality service.

the best spa experience me and girlfriend had a couple massage and it was the best experience we ever had, she had a guy named Alex as the registered massage therapist who according to her was the really relaxing, although he doesn't speaks a lot he knows what he is doing and the spa is clean and hygenic i had a lady named sunita she by far was the best massage therapist i ever had i dont even know why this place has so many negative reviews definately coming back again the spa is great, customer service and staff are great, the owner was friendly and both RMT's Alex and Sunita are awesome Must give this spa a try!

Relaxing atmosphere, good service and reasonable priced massage. I had a really sore back and was desperate to find a last minute massage. Was apprehensive that no RMT was available at the time, but my massage with Sunita was great! Also value-added bonus - I got to enjoy steam room and hotel hottub. (My own nearby hotel had no massage or pool.) Everything was clean and smelled nice despite having read some of the other reviews that indicated people thought otherwise. Glad for the relief!

dont waste your time and money!!!!! Horrible customer service yelled at my friend and made her cry! The service sucked so she asked for a refund when the nail polish was so sloppy and instead she was yelled at and began defending her staff and she said no ur wrong im right (what happened to customers is always right?) anyhow she said no refunds when my friend had already paid i told her why would you pay and the lady moved some signs on the counter to show a hidden sticker underneath it saying "no refunds" hilarious !!! They waste your time and charge you so much for mediocre service

I am a very patient person, but there is a SUPER rude lady at reception that made the groupon not worth it. Scheduling appointments is not easy. They should limit the number of groupon sales if they will have a difficult time booking appointments. I regret buying my Mother the groupon for massages. They really mistreated us. One time when I called about booking an appointment, the lady asked if I could go on hold for a few minutes because a customer was at her desk. I asked her "aren't I a customer too?" and she only responded "I need to put you on hold." They don't have a great rating on groupon either and I see a lot of complaints about the rude staff. It's unfortunate because the spa itself looks nice.

My friend and I visited Zen Spa for facial and back massage. We wanted to be a fun day and the lady named Ann, prepared a room for couples so we both can be together. We both found her very polite and very educational, she went above and beyond the customer service. We are coming back for sure.

Absolutely terrible. Terrible customer service and social skills. The boss and the receptionist always seem lost and do not know what they're doing. Never care about the customer first but only to make them buy packages.

Worst experience ever! The person at the front desk was very rude. The person giving me a massage I feel had no idea what she was doing. I Google them on the internet when I came home to read the reviews and like my seemed pretty bad. I also checked up on them on a City of Toronto web site called Body Safe and found out that had a yellow pass for reusing one time items more than once.....disgusting!!!!

Lol...I love how employees, owners and employees siblings who live in India can give a positive review on this spa. The only good reviews came from the employees family pretending to be guests lol; however Alex is a fantastic rmt. Doesnt say much, but very talented. He is worth the visit by far. Love you Alex!!!! One of the last reviews commented on smelly sheets too bad its affecting the staff who this will reflect on. Poor Alex is now being associated with smelly sheets and poor customer service.

This was the worst experience. They are just money hungry and very unfriendly. I requested a RMT and wasn't given one. NO robes or slippers was provided. The massage left me in more pain, the lady did not knon what she was doing.

i thoroughly liked my massages & facials, have been there multiple times. but the downfall is when you are at a spa, you want a zen expeirience - close your eyes and relax during the treatment - but one of the employees (i think she's the manager) is trying to upsell you treatments aggressively during your spa treatment so you are caught off guard and feel pressured - she doesn't stop through the whole treatment and its very disappointing and stressful. the whole experience is then counter-productive as you feel like you are going through a negotiation session. sad because the other massage therapists don't do that and they are fabulous.

worst place in the earth the worst experience i had ,went for body scrub and did half side of body scrub and half side nothing what a rip off and went to take shower and ,all cold water no warm water , they don't even bother to check their water ,and tell customer to let them know if there is no hot water ,what kind place is that when don't even know ur place has hot water or cold water , i got screwed so plz don't go there and wast ur money ,rather give it poor people

I had booked 3 appointments, one for each of my two sisters, and myself. They couldn't keep the times straight for any of our appointments, and I ended up getting into my appointment 40 minutes after the time I had made the appointment for. So I had to request only a half hour massage instead of the full hour which I originally booked, because we had things to do afterwards and simply there was not enough time for an hour massage at that point. The massage was alright, when the masseuses fingernails weren't scratching me. When I went to pay, I requested the receipt from the RMT so I could submit it for insurance, and they informed me my masseuse was not an RMT. EVEN THOUGH I HAD SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED AN RMT! It took them over 15 minutes to figure out how to charge me for only a half hr massage instead of the full hour which I had originally booked. All in all, I am extremely disappointed, and I also will not be getting reimbursed from insurance for it now either.

I came in with a migraine, and Sunita gave me the best massage I've ever had. I booked an hour, but she did more than all the 90-minute massages I've had elsewhere, and I feel amazing. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Toronto.

Waxing is a big no. do not waste your money. not a pleasant experience. Charged me an extra $5 to honor the request of opening a fresh jar for use. I was fine with that however, the experience itself was not worth the money. Deep tissue massage was great and i found that my masseuse was very receptive to all my requests. Nail care/facial was worth it as well. I would only be returning for a massage or nail care and both due to the personal who provided me the services. P.S. no system for lost and found items. If you leave anything in this place, consider it gone.

Was on a stay as I was traveling to Vancouver...decided to get a massage at Zens spa...The Lady that gave massage was fabulous...Sunita...She is the best you can possibly have...so good that me and my wife Joanne rebooked our stay and took advantage of a fabulous massage once again.. If and when we go back we will surely be booking with Sunita...Thx again..what a gift

I am sooooo surprised at the negative comments posted. I am a spa enthusiast and have had services done all around the world and I cannot say enough about the consistency of the services I have received at the Zen Spa. The massages have been out of this world. I now always book a night at an airport hotel the day before my departure and enjoy a lovely afternoon at the spa. During one of my visits, which was hours, my massage therapist gave me some of her homemade lunch, which was unique to her culture and I loved not only her generosity but the food as well. The only recommendation I would have for the facility is to upgrade the sofa in the sitting room.

Really bad place !! I had a coupon with body massage + manicure and waxing and it was a disaster! I'm very disappointed, place not hygienic and not clean at all. I guess that the employee who did my manicure and my waxing was not trained...

I would have given this spa a 5 but the owner ( or the person answering the phones) has no customer service what so ever. She was very rude on the phone and when we arrived we did not feel welcome at all. If it weren't for the ladies my husband and I had I would've asked for my money back and given this spa a .5 of a star.

Don't bother. I booked a Swedish massage, and got everything but. I had to end it halfway and leave. Be careful, especially if you suffer from pain or an injury of some sort. Spend the money and go somewhere reputable...somewhere that puts customer safety and satisfaction over their need to pay rent. However, if you're looking for a well-decorated space and a very oily (and overpriced) back rub, this place is number one! The Old Mill, Elmwood, and Hammam (to name a few) do provide great (and legitimate) spa services for around the same price (give or take $30-40.)

Purchased multiple Massage packages and they were not cheap either $500+. Package was not honoured and whenever I tried to book, they would double book over my time spot and wouldn't tell me until I would show up for my appointment. I will not be returning. Alex the RMT is really good at this location, it is upsetting that the establishment is soo poorly ran.

Worst experience ever. Wanted to treat my friend for her birthday with a mani/pedi. I spent $140 and before leaving the spa our nails looked so dirty and all the polish was coming off. It also almost took three hours which is ridiculous. Save your money. I went to a good place two days later because I did not want to be seen with my nails the way they were

First we were not told that the location is in a hotel until we were trying to find the place and got lost and called. The lady on the phone told me it was in the DoubleTree hotel but we were not told that the name and number has been removed from the building temporarily (due to change of name and construction) so we had trouble finding the place. The receptionist was rude and very short on the phone. We only live 10 mins. away from this spa and it took us 45mins to get there. We were 25mins. late due to being lost and not sure about parking situation. When we went inside, they told us we were late and were not friendly at all. When we explained that we tried to get info. and politely asked for them to let clients know that they are in a hotel and at the moment there is no name on the hotel they were very rude. We had two Groupon deals for massages. The women who served us were also very rude. They proceeded to talk loudly in a Chinese language and laugh repeatedly...until we kindly asked them not to. Then they gave us a deep tissue massage...mine was not a deep tissue massage...and my friend's massage left bruises on her arms!!! Also during the massage they made fun of my friend. Due to the kindness of my heart, I still left a tip though it was not very deserved. Upon learning that I have benefits, the attitude of the staff changed dramatically as they encouraged me to come back with their special deals. This was our first experience at this spa and we will not be returning!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Spent $300 on 2 mother's day gift certificates for 45 minute hot stone massage and 50 minute hydrating facial. They only provided 30 minute massages, made my mother and mother in-law wait 1 hour for their facial, and then had the audacity to give them a 10 minute facial!!! The owner is so hard to get in touch with, and she was extremely rude. She said she can't give me a refund because the services were provided, but whatever they provided was NOT what I paid for. She told me to bring them back in for facials and she will give me 50% off! WHY WOULD I GIVE THEM MORE MONEY AFTER THEY STOLE $300 FROM ME? After reading all the reviews of innocent people who went through similar situations, I will be filing a complaint with the ministry! I don't even think some of the staff is qualified! Money hungry people with the WORST customer service! DO NOT be fooled by the pretty place, because they treat you like dirt!

I actually found the customer service amazing! Every staff member willing to help. Went to a DETOX Day..all 5 of us there loved our massages! Only complaint was it was a bit chilly. I'm going back for sure.

The spa experience I had this past weekend was so bad. I would NOT recommend this spa at all. I came to the spa with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law for a nice girls spa day. Our appointment was at 3:45pm but we went in at 3:30pm to fill in all the paperwork. The receptionist who I also think is the owner (has a British accent or close to that) said that they are running a little behind. So we thought the wait would be about 15 minutes the most. Nope, my mother- in -law went in at 4:15pm, I went in at 4:30pm and my sister- in- law went in at 5:05pm!!! She had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes!! That is not a little behind. The staff finally told us that she fully booked all her time slots but only scheduled 3 employees to work. I went for my massage and body scrub. Although the lady (Sukhi) giving me the massage and body scrub was a nice lady, I am sorry to say she did not know what she was doing. I got more of a back rub than a massage. She also put the body scrub on me and just used towels to wipe the scrub off, when really I am suppose to shower. I left the spa with salt all over my skin. My mother -in -law and sister- in- law however did shower and rub the salts off their body and said that the shower was also not working properly. The package we got was from Groupon and also included a manicure and pedicure. Again, Sukhi did not know how to give a proper manicure. She didn't know how to file my nails, she did not clean my cuticles but instead just pushed them down. After I saw that I didn't even want to do a pedicure. I told them I was fine with just a manicure. Honestly, it was such a bad bad experience for me and my family it made me want to write a review. If you are a tourist staying at the hotel where the spa is located or live in the GTA and just want a spa day please do not go to this spa. There a way better spas in Toronto. Sad part is there is so much potential for this spa if the owner was a bit more caring about her clients and her staff. The staff need a lot of training. I do not even think they are qualified to do facials, massages, or manicures.

I booked a 1hr massage with the RMT (wasn't told at booking it was a male). I was taken in 15 minutes after my appointment time. The RMT Alex had the table set weirdly: 1 sheet not tucked or anything with a few hand towels thrown on top...didn't even cover my body! He asked me only 2 questions: where is my pain & whether this was my first massage. At no time during the massage did he ask about the pressure or ask how I was. I found him surly & incommunicative. By the time I was asked to roll over, there was no sheet left on tne table & barely enough to cover me! At the end of the message, I was lying directly on the uncovered table worrying about the contact with it! The room also smelled of dirty sheets not a spa smell! I insisted on being charged for only 45 mins because that's how long I was in for. The woman at the test told me to come back tomorrow for a 10 % off message with another non registered massage therapist. No way! Don't waste your money or time. Not a relaxing experience!

Don't waste your time. I was really disappointed about their service. I bought two mani/pedi from Groupon, but after first visit I am sure that I won't return. This place is insanitary, and I also saw a bud on their floor. Everything looked untidy. Terrible!

Booked a couples Spa appointment 2 weeks ago for my anniversary ( they reluctantly booked a travelzoo appointment). I received call from Zen Spa 36 hours before the appointment and cancelled the appointment due to shortage of a therapist. Could not get an alternate massage location via travelzoo in the last minute.Zen Spa ruined my Anniversary gift for my wife.

I have never written a review before, and I always try to give a place the benefit of the doubt, but they have lived up to their poor reviews. This place has potential but they are VERY unorganized. Also, stay away from the hydrotherapy as you may get burned. This is what happened to my boyfriend's left foot and what's worse is that I took him there for his birthday in early October. Also, the noisy stools during the massage is very distracting and takes away from what is supposed to be a peaceful experience. Save your time and money and go somewhere else!!!

I was just there yesterday and I used a voucher that I bought from Buytopia for a 50 min. massage, facial, mani+pedi. It was one of the best spa experiences I have ever had. I felt such a warm welcome when I came in and Nancy by far exceeded my expectations. She really loves her and job and loves to make people feel great about themselves. Other than being super talented and attentive, Nancy really makes you feel relaxed and cared for. I am definitely coming back to her!
