This is a gorgeous spa with really convenient parking and talented staff. It has two levels! So the massage therapy is on its own private level, which of course is awesome for relaxation and privacy. The main waiting area is like a lounge with luxury drinks like espresso and delicious hot chocolate flavours, coffee, treats and even a fridge full of bottled water. The decor is so trendy inside, but still classic, classy. I buy gift cards for friends/family here, it's the easiest gift to give cause you know they'll love it and use it. The best part is that everything you need is in one place - esthetics like waxing, pedicures, manicures and facials, and then a full hair spa (I love that the owner is a hair dresser himself - definitely ask for Bill) of course tanning beds with awesome and easy spray tanning, and registered massage therapy... you can tell I love this place!

My REAL name is Bonny..I've been going to Venus Victoria for about a month now..I was blessed meeting Bill and staff{all my nieces..I adopted them all lol}..I've tanned,had a cut,colour and have never had such fun.What a place to unwind and be pampered.I sit here now w/ a new hair style and colour..My girls Megan and Anissa did a fantastic job.Thank you my darlings :)..Chincia{baby momma} Popped in and out leaving us all smiling. Bill should be proud of himself and the Ladies..I will also post on Trip Adviser.What a happy experience I had with everyone..I wish I could remember all the names,suffice to say..YOU ALL ROCK!!! I have been going to Venus Victoria for probably over 5 years now. My friend stumbled upon this salon and I loved what they did to her hair that I booked an appointment right after and I haven't gone to any other salon since. If you're looking for a great cut, style or your hair coloured than Anissa is your girl. Bill gives the best head massages and I love when he blow drys my hair as well. Most of my friends now also go to this salon so I would 110% recommend you coming here. We all love it here. I have also gotten facials and my microneedling done at the salon, they are like my one stop shop! Thanks to the team at Venus Victoria for always welcoming me like I am one of their own.

Incredibly disappointed with the service I received from Venus Victoria by hair stylist Samantha. I went in on a Wednesday evening to get my dead ends trimmed off and I came out with an AWFUL hair cut. She told me she was going to cut the ends and do something to my hair to not make it so flat, and I came out with blunt ends (which I explicitly said I don't like at the beginning of the appt) and terrible terrible layers. I was mortified when I got home and tried to style my hair on my own and realized the damage that had been done. I spent all night searching for new salons and by the next morning I was on to hair cut number 2 to try and salvage what we could. I ended up having to cut off all my hair (I now have a short bob), which was my worst case scenario because I was trying to grow my hair out for my wedding next year (which I also explicitly told Samantha during my appt). When we called Venus Victoria to tell them about what had happened, they would not give me my money back (which I would have used to put toward my second hair cut) but instead offered me a pedicure. If this salon cared about customer service they would have done more to try and remedy the situation. Instead, they've lost 3 clients and gained a negative review. Unfortunately I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking to get their hair cut.

First time at Venus Victoria Salon & Spa today and I was lucky enough to have Samantha work on my hair. She offered me coffee/tea, took my jacket, asked a few questions about what I was looking for and then she went. to. work. Sam's incredibly skilled, detail oriented, gentle and has magic hands (I loved that scalp massage). Overall, the salon has great decor, is clean, well lit and spacious. I'll definitely be back. Happy it's part of the neighbourhood!

Fantastic place! I’ve been getting my hair cut here for a few years now and the service has consistently been exceptional. If you go, make sure you ask for ANISSA - she will not disappoint!! I always leave loving what she’s done and still love it months down the road. I can’t tell you how nice it is to have a stylist you can actually trust. I now just go in and ask her to just do what she thinks would look best as I know she takes all factors into consideration (hair growth, face structure, hair texture, current trends etc.) I highly recommend Venus Victoria but more so recommend Anissa!

Venus Victoria Salon & Spa had me worried had to trust in an unknown colorist was not sure she could do the job I wanted (bleach to Color for grey hair) she did amazing job however is a little pricey an investment! Did I pay too much? Was 5 hours had other do style what the $300 didn’t include a style paid ????????‍♀️$400. You tell me is that the standard pricing or price gouging.

My experience at Venus Victoria is a pleasant and amazing experience every time I go. The first time I came here was to rescue a horrible ombre that a previous salon had tried to do but completely failed. The colour tech at Venus Victoria, Meagan Clarke, is a goddess when it comes to colouring hair and even fixing up mistakes. Needless to say i came in the salon almost in tears and left with the biggest smile on my face. My ombre actually looked like an ombre now!!.. its been almost a year and a half and i still get compliments about the colour of my hair. My cut was done by Josie. Same situation with my colour experience, the previous salon i attended cut my hair very uneven, the left side of my layers was shorter than the right side and it looked absolutely horrible. Once again amazing work. Josie was able to even out my layers with still saving my length. I am very picky when it comes to my hair; i want to keep my length with very little layers and a nice V shape in the back. Each time Ive gotten my hair cut here Ive never had to look back and complain as to it being to short or difficult to handle. I would recommend Venus Victoria to anyone who suggest where to get their hair done any day!. Also besides the services they offer, the environment is very welcoming and all the staff is very friendly and makes the experience just that much better! :)

Got a spray tan which looked pretty natural and lasted for over a week. If it's your first time, they will play an instructional video for you but once you're in the spray tan booth, the machine will call out the positions at each step. Make sure to wash and exfoliate before you go and apply the barrier cream to nails, palms and bottom of feet. Try not to get wet in the first 24 hours or so to let it settle. If you do see any splotches or runs, using makeup remover helps to even it out. Under certain light, you may look a bit orange but overall it works for a temp tan.

Ok so I'm writing this review under a false name because I do love the salon in itself and I find the staff to be absolutely amazing. BUT the owner he's the reason for this not so great review. I've been going to this salon for years I've watched many stylist come and go and move on to other things or move to different places which is amazing for them. I'm fairly easy going so I don't mind seeing new people and adjusting. As of early this year they got a new girl Anissa. Cute and bubbly little thing, she cut my hair in early January after my color with Meagan ( who is amazing by the way ). Anissa gave me probably one of the best cuts I've ever had to be honest. 5 weeks later I'm due for a color and cut again so I call to book my appointment. A man answers who I assume was the owner bill I tried to book both Meagan and Anissa again he made it impossible to book with Anissa and consistently told me that "bill" was available and very good. I was in need of a visit to the salon and since APPARENTLY Anissa was pretty much booked all week I said ok to bill cutting my hair. Well that was a HUGE mistake! I knew he had gone to school for hair, and he had told me he had been on the floor cutting for a year, well I'm pretty sure that was a huge lie! Meagan was busy and unable to wash my hair so this is where it went bad. He soaked down my back, he left color in my hair and all over my hair line. Whatever I'm easy going and can wash it at home no big deal and water drys so I did not complain. I get to his chair he seems to know sort of what he's talking about so he starts. Oh my god I could feel how nervous he was it was making me nervous. Long story short he botched my hair to an unfixable place, I'm now in the process of growing out his mess ( thankfully hair grows right ) !! Again I love this place the staff is great in the spa, Meagan and Anissa are amazing, the interior of the salon is beautiful, tanning beds are fantastic and bill is a good owner from what I've seen the salon has been running and kept up to date for years but he should stick to owning and running the place and stop cutting. Thankfully I fell in love with the place years ago if I was a new client to the salon I would never be returning. I can't even bring myself to call the salon and complain. I mean how do u complain about the owner. So please everyone if your going on the hair side stick to Anissa for your cutting she's amazing she has an amazing personality that just makes you comfortable and she is very much talented! Hope this saves some people's hair!!!

I really like Megan, but she sort of fried my hair when I asked to do an ombre. She just left the dye on for too long, and I sort of knew in the moment but I never said anything in hopes that she knew what she was doing... And I would like to warn anyone who gets their haircut by the owner Bill, he does NOT know how to cut hair and I left with a frizzy uneven hair cut. I am so pissed the bottom layer is shorter then the rest of the hair and my left side is shorter than my right side. he does however give a really great head massage lol.

Been coming to this salon for a few years now. Beautiful modern interior for a one stop shop for all your beauty needs! I started in the spa and the girls were always great back there I trust any of them with my waxing and nails, but Monica always gives me the best laugh! I see Megan for my colour which always turns out perfect and Anessa for my cuts. But she’s pregnant and was away the last time I was in so I seen Samantha which I won’t be doing again nice girl but lacks confidence and the quality was no where close to what I get with Anessa. There is another new guy that’s been there for longer then the samantha girl but I’m not sure how to feel about him he does not look like he belongs, and I never see him doing much but sit on his phone anytime I’ve been in. Needless to say I’m pretty sure Anessa said she’d be back for 2 weeks in December I’ll be waiting for her.

Anissa is amazing! She is so well rounded with colouring, cutting, and styling. She did all three for me and I could not be more in love and impressed. I asked her to do something she had not done before on my hair so she prepared and studied for it. It showed great commitment and I was honestly quite touched that she took the time out of her own schedule to do that. She did an absolutely amazing job and gave me exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend going to Anissa for hair colouring and a haircut! Apart from her incredible skills she, along with all the other staff at the salon, is so friendly, welcoming and professional. It's an enjoyable environment to be in and I will always look forward to going back.

They are always on time with the schedule, I never have to sit and wait and I'm always offered something to drink. I can't say I've had a bad experience with any of the services and that says a lot for the amount of visits. Meagan is absolutely amazing at colour and Bill the owner gives the best head massages ever, I would go there just for that but there are other services I normally need as well. I find them accommodating at all times if I need to switch things up. The entire place is very clean and well kept with nice music in the background and staff is all friendly and professional. I booked here for a “me” day on my birthday on April 25. It was my first time here but I’m familiar with the area having gone to elementary school and high school close by. I was also intrigued by the great reviews I have read about this place. I booked a package for $150 which included a massage and facial. Cinzia did my facial and it was absolutely fabulous! It was all included from exfoliation to extractions to face mask. Katie did my massage which was amazing!! Tried not to fall asleep but I did multiple times. I left feeling magnificent, and was greeted by everyone working on the way out. I felt very special :) I would definitely recommend & will definitely be back! Thanks guys.
