poor customer services ever! i bought 3 shellac mani coupons, since i had a hard time to book, i booked my 2nd one on the spot in advance. when i got there for my 2nd one, she said she can't do me since i already had previous shellac on- it will take her to long to take them off!! and she had next customer coming in 15 minutes. they book customers every 15 minutes. well that's exactly what she said to me that day. and she was not sorry at all. she just said i have to come back another day - it takes me 30 min to get there. 15 minutes of mani means poor quality of mani job or regular customer gets priority over coupon using customer. i still have 2 more services left (paid already) but hell no, i'm not going back.

It was my first time to get acrylic nail from Nail Fuel. It was simple nail paint with stones and 2 marble design they charged 110 cad. Whoever saw my nails said it’s over priced. And one of the staff was very rude and made the experience very uncomfortable for me. Not going back. Better options around.

Maria is an amazing massage therapist. I work 60 hours a week in front of a computer and my back and shoulders are always tight and sore. One treatment with Maria and I'm good for 4-8 weeks. Over the last 6 years she's giving me exercises to help with my back and neck function but I'm lazy. I highly recommend,

No surprise that groupon buyers aren't happy - they rarely are. I've been getting waxed here for years. People have a business to run and lives to live - they do a fantastic job and even let me bring my dog in and fuss over her rather than make her stay in the car. I won't go anywhere else.

Horrible service! We bought the group in early March 2013, It's July and we still could not redeem it. What they seem to do is over-sell $30 group deals and then make it impossible to book or reschedule appointments. In addition, they try to charge "failed" cancellation fees, while making it impossible to cancel bookings. In 4 months, I could not get them on the phone yet. We will NEVER DEAL with GLO SPA again. The worst service in Etobicoke/Toronto area. period.

From the start, it was impossible to make an appointment. I purchased a spa voucher on-line and once they asked over the phone how i would be paying, once i replied with a voucher, they said that there was not an appointment available until a month from the day requested. Out of curiousity I called the next day and said i was paying with a cc and all of a sudden there was an opening for a next day. once i came in for the appointment, the staff were not friendly at all, they only mingled among themselves, and made me feel extremely out of place. Not only that, but they also were discussing other clients in front of me!!! I wonder what they would say about me??? A lady from the outside dropped into the spa and asked to use the phone because she couldnt locate a doctor in the vicinity, the receptionist bluntly said to her "We are not Bell Canada here, and you cannot use out phone!" I was in shock. Once this poor lady left, they started to mock her and laugh at her. I have 2 more sessions left with them, i will not be using them because of the horrid service.

First and foremost I do want to start off by stating that Nail Fuel is a very well-known nail salon located inside Glo Spa and they have managed to build a respectable platform on social media. My intention with this review is not to discredit their skills, but to inform potential clients of their lack of professionalism. I have been going to Nail Fuel since January 2018 and my previous appointment on May 25 will be my last experience there. My appointment was with Tina and I specifically chose to book with her because she is really good at what she does and she’s always up to date with the latest nail trends. As soon as I got there she asked me if I had a picture for inspiration purposes. After showing her a picture of what I had in mind (10 nails with random stones- mixture of 3D and medium to big sized stones) she advised that this would cost around $200. After a more accurate calculation she told me it would cost a total of $184 and I said that my budget was $160 so she suggested that she could freestyle within my budget. I agreed to her suggestion however I made it clear that I wanted something very similar to what I originally showed her in the first place with minor adjustments to accommodate my budget. She began to apply stones, starting with my pinky fingers and then I immediately noticed that the stones were very small. At first I did not say anything because I thought that maybe her vision was to use smaller stones for my pinky nails and then incorporate medium to larger size stones for the rest of the nails in a way of compromising my vision with my budget. She then asked me if I liked it so far and I told her that the stones were too small for my liking and that I would like larger stones considering that I agreed to pay $160. DISCLAIMER: For someone that receives minimum wage $160 is quite a lot. Quite frankly, It should have been only minor details that were altered to accommodate my budget. After getting angry with the fact that I became indecisive and told her I disliked my nails, Tina asked her colleague Teresa to finish my nails because “Thats not the way I work” she said, I quote “I do not work like this” as she was talking under her breath with attitude. Tina accused me of being indecisive but I was trying to reiterate that I wanted larger stones just as seen in the photo I showed her. Following that incident she stormed outside of the store and the whole atmosphere became really tense and uncomfortable for me to be in. Teresa finished off my nails and while doing my nails she stepped outside of the nail salon to ask her boss, Tina, for advise in regards to pricing. It made me feel like they were being very stingy with me and quite frankly I expected to have a similar outcome considering that only a $24 difference was set in place as a comprising agreement. After my nails were done (2 hours later) Tina gave me a final price of $190. Clearly, money was not the point and the principal of this whole complaint, it was miscommunication and Tina‘s lack of professionalism towards my indecisiveness that was untasteful. If Tina had warned me that a $24 difference in price would interfere with my original vision completely then I would not have agreed to her freestyling. I did pay $190 because I wanted to get out of that uncomfortable atmosphere but I am extremely turned off by her attitude and lack of professionalism. As for a rating I’d give them 5/5 for performance and 1/5 for their customer service. When owning a business those attributes do go hand in hand and miscommunication occurs in every industry of work. So as an experienced nail tech, Tina should learn how to effectively resolve situations as such with a different approach instead of walking off the job and making clientele feel uncomfortable and at fault. Perusonally, I will not be returning to Nail Fuel and I will no longer be recommending future clients. As much as I credit them for their good performance, I do not think Tina is professional enough to control her thoughts and filter her actions while working with clients who may be indecisive.

HIDDEN GEM IN THE ETOBICOKE REGION!! If you read all the bad reviews, it is ALL from the "groupon" voucher people. There is a reason for that to which I will not go into detail about. Bottom line, do not listen to them. Listen to the actual customer reviews because they receive full experience of spas, salons etc., not just Glo Spa, but any place not purchased from a groupon deal. The chemical Peel is amazing! The microdermabrasion was amazing!! My skin was glowing for days! I also got waxing done here and it was very clean and professionally done. Service was amazing, the girls are friendly and approachable with years of knowledge. They make you feel right at home. They also offer many more services worth checking out! Definitely going back!

LADIES LOVE UNITS buyer beware I bought a unit for over 1000 dollars . I had it serviced only with them within 4 weeks from buying it and maintaining it with them i noticed my closure had bald patches and the knots were coming out once reaching out I was told I would have to pay to have the closure redone . What a rip off . Nail fuel is amazing and has good service they should not do business with ladies loves units they are a scam for the level of quality you expect paying those prices . (This is a late post being that this occurred in October I am looking at other options to be taken legally)

Terrible customer service!!! I bought a deal on GroupOn for a 60 min facial at Glo Spa. Booking an appointment was very difficult as no one answered whenever I called during business hours. I was finally able to book an appointment for 6pm and I told the girl on the phone that I finish work at 5 and might not make it on time. On the day of the appointment I arrived 10 minutes late as I was stunned to find out that they had booked another person for the same time and would not see me. I had just travelled 1 hour from the downtown core to be turned away and was very disappointed. The girl at the front desk was not sorry that they had wasted my time and even said "you people who buy deals must come on time” I felt that she was generalizing me into a category because I was paying lower price through the deal site. Instead of offering to book another appointment to she said I should contact GroupOn to get my money back if I don't like their attitudes. DO NOT GO TO THIS SPA!! They are always empty and I never see any clients in the waiting area. They clearly have no ongoing clients and that is why there are offering cheap deals in order to get the business.

I am really shocked by the bad reviews here. I have been coming here for a couple years and I find them to be wonderful. I have always felt comfortable and well looked after here. In my opinion, Groupons always complicate things. I don't think it's fair to give a company a bad review based on a bad Groupon experience.

New medical esthetician Karen Terry gave me the best facial treatment I've ever had. Very professional, always on time. Amazing results! Very glad she joined the team at glo spa. Everyone else at the spa was very inviting and offered every beauty service you could desire. My new go to!

I totally despise this place! The other reviews are spot on in regards to the terrible customer service! I used a voucher as well and it expired before I could get an appointment! The worst part is, passing by the location on a regular basis, they are all standing around the desk, gossiping, letting the phone ring! I have never seen customer service like this not to mention their despicable attitudes. What spa/business doesn't answer calls for appointments or return messages??? Save your money!
