I got my microblading done here. I couldn't have made a better decision. Esperanca (owner) was so kind and accommodating, and listened to exactly what I wanted and the results were incredible. It was my first time getting microblading and I was researching all over Toronto for a place that wouldn't make my brows too boxy or fake looking. She made my brows look so naturally full and I love the shape she made for me. It is clear how much she cares to make her clients happy and I am more than happy with the service I received. I will definitely be coming back for anything else I need in the future.

Had my eyebrows microbladed here about a year ago through a Groupon purchase. As other reviewers mentioned, she was about 20 minutes late to my appointment (despite living above the salon). The initial blading turned out very nice but the entire time I was having the procedure done she was constantly upselling the touch up. In my opinion I wanted to see how the initial brows faired before coming in for a second appointment to spend more money. After returning about a week later with a friend, who purchased the same Groupon on as myself, she chastised me about my aftercare and said I had all but ruined my brows. I explained to her, just as I did in my initial appointment, that I found it difficult to keep my eyebrows dry and free of moisture as I had oily skin. I found this to be unfair and unkind of her, especially as I asked her if there were ways I could combat this. Fast forward to a year later, and my brows have lost their shape, and are now patchy and have a poor distribution of colour. Better aftercare instructions as well as better customer service could save you the trouble of spending around $200 for something that hasn’t even lasted a calendar year.

I had a haircut here and the chair experience was great. He was easy going, easy to talk to and listened to what I was after. Definitely one of the best cuts I got and I left happy. I think I'll come back. I read the other reviews about the spa and the customer service. I can only say that when I walked in there was noone there to great me or guide me. The lady that came by was clearly not a receptionist- it would improve the whole experience if they had a warm friendly greater and someone customer oriented.

My friend and I went in together to get our eyebrows microbladed. For her, it was a first time, and for me, I was hoping that Esperanca would be able to fix a horrible eyebrow tattoo I had gotten done about 5 years ago. I am so impressed! My friend's brows look so natural and on fleek, and my fix is amazing - you can barely tell I had a crappy job before. Also - while I was waiting for my turn, Gerti was free, so I asked for a blowout. GREAT JOB - Gerti is a great conversationalist and good at his job, and pricing is very reasonable. Can't wait to go back for our touch ups in 6 weeks.

I came for a touch up after 6 weeks here at Esoerenca at their new location in Lakeshore. I love how my eyebrows look now - thicker and full. For those of you wondering if it’s painful, I would say it’s 2-3 in the scale of 10. I feel threading and waxing are more painful. She puts on a topical anesthetic for 20 minutes to numb your skin. While waiting, she offered an espresso and got a chance to get to know each other. This is important for me because it made me feel comfortable. She did a combination of micro shading and blading for my treatment which lasted for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Towards the end of the procedure, she’ll give you a mirror to look at your brows from time to time if you’re happy with your brows. She added more hair strokes in mine to make it thicker and full. Overall, I’m satisfied and pleased with the service i received.

This is the best hair cut and service I've received in my life. Not only did he listen to what I had wanted to do with my hair, they gave me insight in how my hair would much better suit my face which no other hair dresser has ever done for me. Gerti who had cut my hair was very friendly and didn't seem annoyed to have a bit of a chat while working, which I really appreciated. You could tell with the amount of time and concentration during the cut that he was making sure to get his work to an appropriate standard. Terrible..well..the liposuction laser: old machines,attendant not organized: I couldn't go to 3 sessions and I called cancelling and they did not wrote down that I didn't go and didn't reschedule me... after I tried to reschedule and she told me that I did all 6 sessions. I prove to her that I did call and I left voice messages but at the end I did not go because the treatment doesn't works too! Waste of money $70 from Groupon. Don't waste your time and money..maybe others things in the clinic in good..I don't know..but the laser thing..not at all..but think about $70 for 6 sessions? a good clinic who really takes care of you do not charge that little...

Esperanza’s Spa is the only place that I trust for eyelashes and brows. I am very careful with any treatments for my face, and I would drive many kilometres/miles to go to the place I trust...and I do! It is over a two hour drive for me ( 2 hours there and another 2 hours home), in making that journey I go past many spas but for me, I only trust Esperanza! The drive is worth it! I made an appointment for 6:30 and the lady on the phone said it was fine as it was the only time that worked with my schedule. Well I've been sitting here for half an hour. The door is locked and they are not answering my call. I had to come from across the city for this appointment, after work, too. This was a huge waste of my very limited time and now I'll have to find somewhere else very quickly to get waxing done. I just want the people who run this spa to know that your responses towards many of the negative reviews posted here prove you are unwilling to take responsibility for your mistakes, and lack compassion. Because face it, if the services you performed were satisfactory, they wouldn't be complaining. Instead of alleviating concerns of future clients, you are confirming the unprofessional behavior the poster claims to have experienced. :( Super disappointing, because I was going to try microblading at your spa. But I'm sure you don't care, ya know, because I would've used Groupon. Ha!

I went there to repair my eye brows through the micro blending technique. It is amazing how Esperanca work! Her passion, dedication and professionalism on how to use the technique successfully is barely seen. She is accurate on defining the right shape of the eyebrow which match perfectly with face shape, she has a broad vision about choosing the right color. Her work is high quality. By the end of four hours dedicated work I had the perfect eyebrows. She gave me plenty of advises on how to maintain and take care for eyebrows. I stumbled across Esperanca through a Groupon as I wanted to finally take the plunge on microblading. Colouring in my eyebrows every day was getting annoying as I could never get the shape right on both side right. After going through the reviews for the spa on Google- I felt good about my decision and my experience till today has been excellent! Esperanca was putting me at ease since the beginning. Throughout the process (including touch up), she will take her time with the details and continuously check in to make sure you’re doing okay. I have gotten so many compliments on the shape of my eyebrows and am excited to see how they turn out once they heal! I also caved in and got a fantastic eyelash lift based on her recommendation. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. My ENTIRE experience, from booking my appointment to calling a few days later regarding my poor experience, was a TERRIBLE display of customer service. The manager had me crying by the end and hung up on me. Let me put it out there that I did not go for a facial, I had my eyebrows microbladed (tattooed). As in tattoos on my face. It's a big deal and I feel more compassion should be rendered when a complaint is being made about makeup tattoos. Firstly, when I booked my appointment, the receptionist was rude. I inquired about the cost of a touch up, and when she indicated it would be $150 I let her know I only paid $140 on Groupon for the initial service, therefore I was paying $10 more for a touch up. This was not in any way argumentative. I was just stating something I sort of found funny. But the receptionist hung up on me. I called back thinking that the line may have just disconnected, but she was then rude, booked my appointment and quickly got off the phone. I assumed maybe it was a busy day and didn't pay too much attention to it. The day of my appointment (friday), I walked in and a woman behind the desk looked at me. She didn't introduce herself but she handed me some papers to fill out. I finished filling out the papers and she asked if I was a Groupon customer. I said yes. She then asked me how much I paid. Since I didn't understand why that was relevant, I told her I paid for the Microblading service. She then asked again HOW MUCH. I told her $140 and she cocked her head back in shock. She did this as another customer was standing there and it was rather embarassing. She then reaffirmed two times that for the price, no touch up was included and that a touch up was $150. Regardless I proceeded. The procedure was rushed and I was only able to look at my eyebrows while laying down as the tech quickly snatched away the small hand mirror after every time I wanted to look. By the time I was done I felt it looked okay, but I mostly felt pressure to get out of there and that I would go elsewhere for a touch up to fix the small imperfections I saw. Also, strangely, the tech asked me for $20 when I was leaving, as it was for tax. (even though it was not in the fine print about paying anything cash). Upon arriving home and seeing my eyebrows in my own mirror, in good lighting, I realized that my eyebrows were so different that I wanted to cover them immediately. Unfortunately you cannot put makeup on them for at least 2 weeks. They were not fully filled in and one is much shorter than the other. I decided to wait till Monday to reach out as I felt they should be gone over again as the job doesn't look finished. I also thought giving my brows the weekend to settle, it may look better minus swelling, redness, etc. I was wrong. The spa was closed Monday and their website was conveniently down on Sunday and Monday so I could not send an email to keep a trail of communication. So I called today (Tuesday), and spoke to the receptionist. She told me that it may be because I need a touch up. I explained that I noticed the issues upon arriving at home. She indicated that it was still possible to need a touch up after two hours. She then rudely transferred me to the manager. This is where it all got interesting. I reiterated everything in this review to the manager. He also insisted that I needed a touch up. He told me I probably didn't use proper aftercare and that he looked at my before and after and he sees nothing wrong. I proceeded to tell him that I was ready to give a bad review, as I was in tears and feeling like I was not going to get any help. He then told me to "go ahead and give a review. DO what you want. We have 400+ reviews and your bad review won't affect that." He told me they won't be fixing anything unless I pay for a touch up. I am starting to think that may e they use fake reviews as there is no way with this kind of terrible customer service that there hasn't been one complaint. So this was my experience with Esperanca Spa. I have to get my eyebrows salvaged elsewhere.

I absolutely love the Ultrasound Therapy Facial. I had my treatment a month ago and I'm so happy with the results. I can see the youthfulness back in my face. It's absolutely amazing that this treatment actually works. And, looks completely natural. No bad side effects or downtime. Esperanca is so knowledgeable and I fully trust her advice and guidance on all my beauty regimes. You have to try the ultrasound therapy facial. It's so much better than any other treatment out there and you don't have to keep going back for more treatments. I also did dermarolling on on my legs. After just one treatment I see such an improvement. The before and after photos say it all. The service here is so warm and kind. I highly recommend this medical spa. Friendly service and treatments that give you results.

I got my eyebrows done exactly one week ago and they are gone...whats left over looks like a faded purple tattoo just by my arch..you can't see any hair like strokes. And when I called to talk about it they had nothing to say except that I could come in April 13th so they could see it more then a week away after I've spent a couple hundred dollars I'm an Esthetician myself and know all about after care and followed the instructions exactly. Very disappointed in my results as well as the customer service. I asked where do we go from here and the man on the phone wouldn't say anything except to hint that this is some how my fault...thanks for nothing.

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR CUT HERE! I had the worst haircut of my life here last week. The hair on the left side of my head was left about an inch and a half longer than the right side, and the layers Gerti put in we're choppy and completely uneven. He did not do what I asked for at all. I seriously regret spending my money here, stay far away!

My experience at the salon was great, and the hair dresser was quite friendly. The haircut was finished off with a blow-out and I had some nice curls, so I was happy with it. However, after straightening my hair today, it looks quite choppy. Left side, top layers appear to be significantly shorter than the bottom layer; whereas the right side is blended pretty well. I am not happy with this. In retrospect the appointment felt quite rushed and I think this is the result. I want to recommend this place, but I am torn.

I got the microblading treatment for my eyebrows. At first I was nervous but Esperanca put me at ease and made sure the topical freezing was more than enough. They turned out really beautiful and natural. I highly recommend this process if your eyebrows are too sparse. Esperanca was a lovely lady.

I love this place!!! Best place ever!!! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Gerti is so dedicated and passionate about his job. He did such an amazing job with my hair, very happy. I been going to this place for a very long time, i can say its more like my 2nd home. They provide super services & listen to the client’s concerns and suggest the best for each and every one based on the treatment. I also did microblading eyebrows with Shpresa and they look just perfect with my face features. Got many compliments and mostly makes me feel uh-la-la . I would give this place 10 stars if i could.
