My 2 adult daughters and myself have been going to DC Nails for 4 years, they really do an amazing job with eyelashes, pedicures. manicures and waxing. Julie has brought in a new team and my last visit there was the best ever! The customer service has dramatically improved! I would highly recommend

I have been to this place for my nails 5 times. So I can say I gave them plenty of opportunities. The first time the shape and quality of the products used wasn’t very good but the nails did last 1 month with shellac. The second and third time I had a few broken nails after only 2 weeks! Poorly shaped one of the times I had to keep telling the girl how to do it over and over again and I didn’t want to be rude but I was just about to take it from her and shape my nails myself. Also she cut my finger I was bleeding and it was paintful but I didn’t want to make her feel bad for it because it was an accident, and even tho no one knows what they’re doing, they are nice to you and try to make you feel good. I like that I can always book appointments the same day and they don’t make me wait more than 5 minutes. I got my nails done again just 5 days ago in this place. After 2 days I had to go back To fix 2 nails that were breaking already. They fixed them for free, but next day another one broke!!! So after 3 days I got 3 broken nails. It is shellac and I paid 40 dollars bc I had to add 2 extensions because I had 2 broken nails from the previous time due to their poor job. I even gave her 5 $ tip and I believe I have given them 10$ and 15$ tip before. When I went to fix the nails it took them 1 hour to fix 2 nails and I saw they were expecting tip when they finished and I could see a little disappointment because I gave them no tip. I had paid 40$ + tip just 2 days before that and I had to go back 2 days after and waste another precious hour of my time to fix their bad work. So sorry but no tip this time. Also why I was getting them fixed I was told by another employee that I had nothing underneath! No shellac, no gel, nothing!!! Wow !? So it’s been 5 days today since I got them done and besides the 2 nails they fixed there’s another broken one. Obviously I’m not going to go back to fix anything in this place I’m done wasting my time and money. I have had my pedicure done in this place and it was good, no complaints! I also got waxing done here about 2 years ago and never again! They rushed me and I had to go elsewhere after to do it also they broke a lot of hairs. If you go here you will notice they pressure you a lot to do dipping , which is double the price of the shellac. I wanted to do that but changed my mind bc I am not spending that much money in this salon anymore. They’ll keep telling you how shellac “is no good” and it doesn’t last.. well guess what it actually doesn’t last if you do it here. The place where I used to go the shellac always lasted over a month!! I’ve been doing shellac for 3 years. Don’t tell me it doesn’t last. The place is not very clean either you see the floor is dirty all the time, as well as the nail stations, you see tape all over the place, it looks like everything is cheap and not well maintained or clean. This is my honest review. It’s not 1 star bc I was always treated nicely so I’m not going to be unfair.

I had been searching for my go to nail salon and in Toronto and this one has been amazing. The customer service is great, and they always do a lovely job on my nails. They genuinely care if you are taken care of properly. Very clean and friendly. Kenny has often done my pedicures and does an amazing job. I continue to come back after a year here :)

I absolutely love this place! The first time I went was because I was close by and needed my nails done quickly. Since then, I stopped going to my nail place downtown that I was loyal to for 7 years and have only been using DC Nails. All of the nail technicians are very thorough and do a great job. Very clean too and taking all the Covid precautions!

So this place is really interesting. It isn't particularly clean and when I was getting my nails done, they had me rest my hand on a cold wet towel (that was stained with other manicure colours) on a plastic box... THAT BEING SAID ... phenomenal nails. I got a mani/pedi and my eye brows and they deliver on quality AND its reasonably priced ($98 total and I got fake nails with an ombre design). So, yes, not exactly a frilly establishment but they know what they are doing.

The salon is in a perfect location, there's always parking. The staff is extremely friendly, responsible and up to date in trends. They have a huge variety of nail colours, like huge. I went here on the recommendation of a friend and service was great! Friendly, fast, accommodating. I can't really speak to much to the price since they vary wildly across the GTA. I had a full bio gel set done, with an extension and holographic powder. I was told the fee for the extension would be waived, so at the end I paid $75 including a 10% tip. I was very happy with the final result, however a week into having them, one of my nails cracked near where the extension was added. I've never had this happen so quickly and I abuse the hell out of my nails. Two weeks later, my nails are peeling up! I can’t believe how quickly this is happening especially when my nails usually last 3+ weeks at my usual place. Definitely won’t be returning.

I must admit that I am impressed with their quality of nail service and they are affable.I am not interacted with alot compared to other clients that they serve but I don't exactly wish to befriend anyone there either.However the effort is minimal.I do like Ann.She understood my fragile nails and adjusted to accomodate.It is usually busy so calling ahead may help.Their nails last longer compared to other locations so Im satisfied.

I went to DC Nails & Spa on a Sunday afternoon and what started out as a promising visit quickly turned south. I had never been here but the reviews looked promising so I thought, why not give it a whirl? I booked my appointment for a polish change on my toes and shellac on my fingernails. I think they ended up giving me sort of a pedicure, which isn't what I booked, and because I'd never been there before I didn't know what their standard polish change included so I just went with the flow. The girl that did my toes didn't quite do a great job to the supervisor's eye, so the super came in to fix where she made her mistakes. *** I should have taken this as a sign *** Fast forward to the shellac on my fingernails-- just a quick shaping of my nails was going on which was perfect because I didn't book a full mani. A quick shaping then turned into 5 bloody fingernails with me feeling searing pain from some sort of alcohol being poured on to stop the bleeding. Finally we were able to get to the shellacing. It looked like she was getting too close to my skin, but I'm not a professional so I didn't really say anything. Also, I was so uncomfortable with my fingers still bleeding a bit I just wanted to be done. Okay, done. Time to pay. For what should have been a $30, I was now being charged $55. For a mani and pedi. I did NOT receive a mani, and I didn't ask for a pedi. The supervisor seemed to kind of scold the girl serving me for not looking at what I booked, but in the end, they were still charging me for what I didn't book. I was very unimpressed with this service, but now my fingernails that were bleeding and swelling around the edges and I had to go. Skip ahead two days where I am on a beach down south, and POP! Two of my shellac nails lift and fall off. I was down south for a wedding and got my nails done specifically for the wedding, and they didn't even make it to the wedding day. Not the quality i was expecting and certainly not worth what I paid for. After 6 days from the Sunday of my visit, all of my shellac lifted and fell off. The only thing this nail spa had going for it was cleanliness.

This is my favourite salon to go to. The staff is extremely friendly and very personable. They keep all of their equipment very clean. I am a nurse and infection control is important to me. I feel safe getting my manicures done here. A lot of salons use the same equipment on everyone and this place is the exception. I always leave here satisfied. Would highly recommend this salon. Any employee that does your nails will do an impeccable job.

My mom got her finger cut during her manicure and they discounted the manicure portion and only charged for the shellac which was fair. Overall, nice people but unsure about the quality for the price.

Great customer service! Had to get my gel nails completely redone because of the place I went to previously, she was very nice about the fact and gave me a discount. She told us that Saturday evenings are the best time to come, not recommended to come on Thursdays and Fridays because they are very busy. They say third time's a charm. They also say when you get your nails done, it should be a relaxing experience. I was not relaxed. 3 out of 3 times my cuticles and the side of my nail have been peeled off with their machines. Today was the worst. Almost all 10 of my fingers were bleeding. I have sensitive skin and I've never had an experience this bad at a nail salon. I think the technicians should pay extra care to customers such as me. My fingers hurt as I'm typing this. My nails are painted beautifully and it's a shame that my nails were not posted on their page since, well, they're all scared and bleeding. I wasn't all too happy on how much I was charged either. I came here since it's right across my house but I will not be coming back here again. The technicians are kind, and really sweet, but my experience at a "spa" should not be painful.

I usually don't trust many people with nails or waxing but gave them a shot since Nice one Nails on North Queen let me down. I wasn't disappointed. They don't use harsh chemicals and give me a good rate on bio gel nails which is overpriced at other places. They also use hot stones for pedicures which is nice! They keep me coming back for more! They are quick and efficient. I feel like a celebrity!

Everyone was really polite, but I was really not impressed with my Mani and Pedi, especially for what I paid. The person doing my mani and pedi cut me multiple times on both my feet and hands! My heels are still rough! It was my first time at DC nails and I doubt I would go again. I've had many mani and pedis in my days, and this one was one of the worst. Based on the reviews I was expecting a half decent experience, however I came out with bloody cuticles.

My mother and I were in tonight to have dipping powder removed from our nails. We are not pleased. My nails still have raised spots where the dip was. But at at least mine were cut and filed, with clear coat applied afterwards. The owner couldn’t get my mom done fast enough. Not even applying a clear coat or bothering to cut or file her nails. My mon had gorgeous nails usually but after this experience they are ruined. I am really questioning returning back here.

It's a small place but surprisingly I think it's a great size. It's not overly packed thanks to making prior appointments. The staff are really nice and quick. this is my mom's go-to place. Outstanding service!! Never been to a nail salon so accommodating. Sophia is the best she stayed after for a friend and I and did an AMAZING JOB!! These girls know how to properly centre your nails and apply acrylic/gel. Very clean environment they use bags over their spa chairs. Also they use hot stones if you choose to get a pedicure!! Staff are always incredibly friendly and professional. They are always adding new nail colour options so you will always find a colour you love. I even booked a friend's birthday there where they blocked off an entire hour to attend to the three of us. We felt so pampered and the birthday girl felt very special. DC Nails & Spa is a great atmosphere. Sophie and her employees have always been great. I live in Alderwood and any time I'm shopping at Farm boy I always stop in to say hi to the girls (and to Ben) and they take me in anytime. They are very welcoming, always offer tea or bottle of water and oh sometime Lindor chocolates. I have been going there for years, not only because its local but because they make me feel like part of the family. I get Ombre nail designs and absolutely love it. Its time consuming but they take their time and do a clean and fantastic job. Anytime they come up with new designs or ideas I'm their guinea pig :). Absolutely love it. Then I also get pedicures and waxing. They have PPE and take every precaution to keep it safe for customers and keep themselves safe. I forgot my mask once and Sophie gave me a 4 layered reusable mask for which I was really appreciative. The employees are great at sanitizing after each customer and the place is kept clean. That is one spot I recommend given that there are at least 2 more spas I can go to down browns line. I keep going back to this spot because I am always well looked after. GREAT JOB!!! to all the employees. Definitely highly recommended.

Best nail salon in Etobicoke. I had an ingrown toe nail for months, I regularly had pedicures done and no matter what I did the pain never went away. Sophia gave me a pedicure and it was like magic the pain was gone. The customer service is above and beyond, a beverage is always offered and a relaxing experience is guaranteed. Any nail design can be done and the options for nail colours and brands is endless. Plenty of parking... never a let down. I strongly recommend going to DC for mani and pedis!

Don't go there until COVID is over! They don't use the heat fan to dry up the Acrylic and they didn't inform me about it. Such a waste of money, I paid $68 for nothing!! The Acrylic was coming off after 2 days!! They only informed me about it when they already put the acrylic on and when I asked if they don't dry it, they said no because of COVID. I fully understand this measure but they should have informed the customer before hand. Plus, that place is so dirty, they do not seem to be taking any copied precautions. Yurksss

Ive been to many nail salons and this one by far was the best first experience. Sophia is so friendly and she truly wants you to be happy with her services. She offered me a drink as soon as I walked in and even gave me a coupon for my birthday that passed in February. She did a fantastic job on my nails. Will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends!

This nail saloon is one of the best saloons in gta. They have range of colours to choose from. Very very friendly staff, especially saara, shes excellent at her job. She makes sure that i get what i want. All over really happy with the service. Definitely visiting again and bringing my friends too. Please check there instagram too. Great experience, every time! First of all, the salon is clean, very hygienic with plastic covers for the pedicure tubs and individual emery boards for each client. Sophie, the Manager, is very customer service focused, helpful, greets everyone with a smile and goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. The quality of the manicures is excellent. Both Sophie and Jenny are detail oriented, share trends, but ultimately ensure that you get what you want. Fun for a girls day out, fun for families - I have even seen Sophie cut a baby's nails for a first timeframe relieved parents.

Took my mom for a mani & pedi that was booked a day prior... The salon forgot our appointment and was overbooked when we arrived. When we were seated for the pedi, we waited an additional 30min. for them to start as they kept taking walk ins and finished up prior clients. A lady that walked in after us had her service completed before us. We also waited long in between our pedi and mani service. The service was sloppy and very rushed. The quality of work was poor and they charge $40 for basic mani & pedi service (compared to other places in area that range from $27-35 and do better quality work). I will not be going back.

Avoid this dirty place! Horrible Did a Shellac and it started chipping off in all of my nails after 1 day! I understand they are drying the shellac but I went to other places before where it didn't dry the shellac up and it stayed for more than 2 weeks. Here they are just using cheap quality shellac, dont waste your money here!! I live far away from that spa and cannot get it redone and will not as they are not properly abiding to COVID measures, they didnt offer me any sanitizer nor was there any sanitizer over there. I was surpised after using equipment on my nails, they didnt even sanitize it and used it on another customer who came in. The place is really dirty ????????

Very poorly done acrylics ! So lumpy u could see the shape of the nail tip thru the acrylic layer. Looked horrible and took so long, longer then 3 hrs, ridiculous.

Went to get my nails done with my cousin told them what I wanted, went through all the steps and in the end it was not what I wanted my nails were crooked I did not get the shape I asked for, never had a problem getting coffin nails before. I was being very persistent on what I wanted and it still turned out trash the MAN at this place does really BAD nails and I’ll never be back it was not worth the price.

Last night one of my toes was seriously cut by the technician using a grater on my foot. There was an apology but no discount. The main reason for having a pedicure is so your feet look good in summer. As a diabetic I now have to protect my foot from infection by wearing shoes. No tip for you!

I've been going to this salon since it opened and stopped because of previous management. However, I thought I'd give it another try months ago and I've been going there almost once a week ever since! Sophia the new manager has taken this place to a whole new level. She does an amazing job, I've never been happier with my eyelashes, eyebrows and nails etc. Not only Sophia but Jenny, Tiffany and all the girls are great! Highly recommend them :)

They need to step there color game up, they dont have a lot of options for nail polish I noticed.. The lady rushed my mani/pedi and speaking of the pedi , it was the worst pedicure Ive ever had. It was rushed so no relaxing & didn’t exfoliate or file & trim properly . The salon is clean and chairs comfy I’ll give them that. But there service just isn’t worth it

This place is amazing! I've been coming here for years and have never had a single negative experience. Janaury introduced new management and I was a little skeptical however the new ownership gave DC nails a nice upgrade in terms of layout and decor and Service is definitely still amazing but I must admit the new staff does even better work! I've recommended friends and family here and they've all had great things to say. My shellac last 3 WEEKS - no chips or breaks. The ladies are SO nice and really care about providing the best customer service. They do get busy - especially on weekends so call ahead and show up a few minutes early to choose colours as they have a TON to choose from. If you are in the Etobicoke area or close enough to drive in, make the trip! I promise you won't regret it. I recently moved to Burlington and still make the drive back because I can't find anywhere to match the quality of work! Don't pay attention to negative reviews about this place. If you want a cheap mani/pedi shellac combo that won't last - of course you can find somewhere a cheaper. But you can't go wrong with $40-50 bucks when you get tons of compliments on your nails! Sophia/Tiffany/Jenny - you guys are awesome! Keep up the good work :)

I went to this salon because it had great reviews for a manicure. The lady that did my nails was quite rough, half of my fingers were bleeding because she cut too deep into my cuticles. When she trying to file down my nails, she was again too aggressive and cut into my skin which was also bleeding. Would not recommend.

Such a friendly positive place! I've been a patron for a little over 2 years now, and they continue to astound me at the quality of service they provide. They fix chips and broken nails with no questions asked and at no cost. Whether it's a manicure or pedicure it always ends in a mini massage (the pedi with hot stones!). They offer up free refreshments to clientele with a smile. Superior products and extremely clean. I'm moving out of the neighborhood... but I won't be switching salons. Sophie, Cindy and Kenny are great!!

I recently moved and decided to try DC Nails being close to where I now live. I’m glad I did! The staff are friendly and kind. Hannah gave me a long lasting dipping mani and wonderful soothing hot stone pedi. I had the dipping mani done approx 3 times at another salon close to where I lived before. Each time, the polish started breaking off within 1.5 weeks on the same 2 fingers. The manicure from the previous salon would barely last 3 weeks. I thought this was normal as I never had dipping done before. Not this time at DC nails - their manicure lasted 4 weeks!!! Not because of broken polish but due to nail growth. My 2nd mani from DC Nails still going strong and holding! Plus they tell you if the polish does break off, they will fix it for free. Happy I moved + a new happy DC Nails customer! Thank you!

I've been coming to this nail salon for years now. I would never continue going to a place that was dirty or unsanitary. This salon is very well kept, and the service is exceptional! I recently started to go here, I live a few minutes away. My boyfriend actually found this place and made me an appointment and much to my surprise, this place is incredible! From the hot stone leg massage to the intricate designs, everything is done with love, creating a family atmosphere. This place is filled with love, laughter and professionalism.
