I enjoyed the experience. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I was a little disappointed by the quick cuticle cleaning and surprised at how they did not get me to wash my hands prior to applying the polish. Though my lower rating is mainly due to the fact that the shellac polish was impossible to get off. I went to my go-to spa in my home town and after a lot of scrapping and polish remover they still weren't able to get it all off! They ended up covering over it. Must not have been very good quality polish.

Great place. My toes looks great. Place is clean and staff is friendly. My only thing is they should drain the water from the tubs before plugging in the fan to dry your toes. All I can think is someone is gonna get electrocuted when the fan falls in.

Ruby. RU. BY. This gal is the queen of nails. I will never let another touch my hands. I cannot rave enough about this experience. My last nail experience (albeit almost 10 years ago) was so brutal I swore I’d never get fake nails again. But then I met Ruby. Not only is she absolutely METICULOUS but the prices are so wildly competitive I cant imagine ever going anywhere else. If you’re looking for somewhere to get your nails done, look no further.

Owner-operater Lavender is a pro. Super clean, they provide a foot bath liner, so important. Couldn't see an autoclave for instruments as they don't come wrapped, but I'd expect they use one. I used to come here and get gel fills. I liked the finished product for the most part but I did notice that they weren't sanitary about their gel powder. Instead of taking some out of the container and using a separate one they would dip my fingers in the original container. And during these times, I find that really scary as I'm not sure how many other clients have done the same. But the big reason I stopped coming in was because I had a nail chip within the same week, and I called in to get it fixed. From what they told me it was a free fix and I was pleased to hear that. But what I did not like is that Lavender filed my nail that got chipped so short, it didn't match any of my other nails. And then she did the same to my other thumb. It looked awful, I've been to so many different nail salons and this was the first one that didn't put on a brand new nail. In my eyes that is what "fixing" it means. Not trying to save money and short cut a customer. Save your time and money and go somewhere that cares and doesn't only care for your money.

My preteen step-daughter and teen daughter often come with me to get their nails and pedicures done and they love the treatment and they get treated just as professional as all other clients. My teen is now extremely happy to go on her own, she feels that comfortable and confident with them doing a great job and treating her professionally.

This is by far the best place in town to have nails done. When I go anywhere else for pedicures, they do not bother to get rid of all of my calluses around my heels, for some reason. When I come here, they make sure that all traces of hardened skin are gone completely. After coming here once, I never felt the need to try anywhere else for manicure and pedicure. This is my first manicure. I have lost my job because I was off work for so long after receiving this manicure. Ruby did a terrible job, cut my nails so low she cut my nail bed. I have now been suffering for several weeks from her dirty clippers. My fiance thought he was giving me a gift turned out to be a very terrible experience now. I will never go back, do not recommend and am in process of developing a lawsuit.

My nails haven't budged once in all of the past years I've been coming here - and I put them to the test, and I also go in between appointments for longer than I should. They never chip at all. I highly recommend this nail salon. I was visiting in September and went with a friend to get a pedicure. I've always had problems with my toes - unsightly and fungal problems. The woman who's name I forget (with red hair) was amazing. She did an excellent job grooming my nails, explaining how they grow, what treatment options I could consider and she recommended a course of treatment that is showing the results several months later (I'm writing this five months later). It's been life-changing.

2 weeks in a row I had the same nail replaced and repeatedly it just pops off almost completely. My thumbs are not dried properly either this time. Nice ladies but not a good or even fair service for the price. Had an appointment for eyelashes at 3 pm yesterday and Lavender was still doing a pedicure at 320pm. I left she seemed shocked and confused. No respect for people’s time at all.

Great Place....I randomly chose this place and could not have been more pleased with the service and treatment. I chose the Deluxe Hawaiian Pedicure ($50) and the extent of the treatment was unbelievable! In addition to all the normal pedi stuff....I had hot towels, an incredible leg/foot massage....followed by hot stones......a paraffin treatment....and meticulous colour application. The shop was very clean and the atmosphere relaxing - even the foot tubs had a new disposable liner inserted before the treatment began. The staff were polite and very pleasant....not rushed - at least 1.5 hours of pampering.....and my feet and nails look amazing. This is my new place.....100%

Best pedi in???? my???? life????. I got my pedi last week with my Mom from Ruby and Chantal. I have never enjoyed one more. It was so thorough and I felt pampered. Their classic is over and above what most places call deluxe. I meant to review right away but forgot, but then today I tripped on the sidewalk and knocked my toes so hard! I immediately thought "OH NO MY PEDI!" and I looked down and these bad boys barely look touched. So here I am at the side of the road taking a pic of my hurt toes so y'all can see the quality and endurance of this pedi and to give this place the quality review they deserve. I've been to this salon plenty of times now and all times had excellent service compared to the many other salons I visited in the past. Lavender and Ruby went above and beyond the quality I anticipated with my daughter and I . They helped us by taking their time when it came to our nails and lashes and went above and beyond for my daughter when she came in with a very awful lash situation from a different lash tech. Lavender stayed after hours to fix my daughters lashes and they turned out to be the fullest, most beautiful lashes she’s had since she’s started her lash extension journey. Best customer service I’ve received in a long time. They truly care about their customers needs and preferences. Definitely my go to salon from now on! Would definitely recommend

This weekend I snuck into Victoria Nail and Spa for a last minute pedicure. I typically frequent another lovely nail salon on the other side of the city. I’ll admit, these guys charge an extra few dollars more than my regular place, however it shows! High quality product, the largest selection of colours I’ve ever seen, spotless clean and calm environment and super knowledgeable staff. I didn’t feel rushed like most salons and actually got to relax. Chantal was an amazing tech who actually educated me on the health of my feet, which was the first time I’ve had this after hundreds of pedis at other salons. She also made me super comfortable as I’m a) extremely ticklish (not a single tickle), b) I have had foot surgery and my feet can be sensitive and c) as I have an extra toe on each foot. I typically have to drag myself to pedi appointments, but in the hands of this crew, I’ll be finally looking forward to it!

My husband and I had appointments for pedicures and we loved our experience here! Staff was very friendly and personable. We had Chantal and Stella - both were amazing. I have a discoloured and broken toenail from an injury years ago that never fully healed. The foot and nail care advice from Chantal was so helpful. My half toenail has never looked better. I received the best advice on how to care for my nail and allow it to heal. So excited for it finally look normal!! Loved the teamwork and knowledge from all staff. This is no ordinary nail salon. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back when I visit the island again!

My daughter and I were treated so well here! It was our shared birthday, and we were treated to mani/pedi's; hand and foot massages; neck and shoulder and leg massages, back massages (massage chair), and a lovely stone massage. While there, we were treated to tea and felt super relaxed. Nice ambience, nice music, and friendly staff. 10/10 would reccommend! And will definitely come back!

Omg I’m so in love with my nails!! Last min plan with my friend to get mani pedis and this was such a great choice. We had so much fun, the massages were outstanding, and our nails look amazing!!!!!!!!! We were shown glow in the dark nail polish, and I have zero plans to spend any time not in the dark now. I attended Victoria Nail Spa yesterday for a mani/pedi, based on all the great reviews here - and unfortunately left quite disappointed. I had booked an appointment, but ended up waiting for 30min to get treatment. I understand sometimes this happens, and I wasn't even that upset about having to wait. What disappointed me was the quality of the mani/pedi I received. My pedi ended up having crooked cut nails, and the nail polish was painted on so thick that despite having air dried for over 2 hours, they were ruined shortly upon getting home. The top coat on my mani left lots of air bubbles, and was far from the smooth finish expected from a professional manicure. I even had to ask someone to re do my thumb, which had a very noticeable air bubble crater. The entire hand needed to be redone, but I felt bad asking as it was already an hour past closing time and the girls were cleaning up around me, and after being there for an hour and a half I was ready to leave. The lamest part about this is I was getting my nails done for my wedding; and have had to take off all off the polish and redo it myself :( I feel bad leaving a critical review, as the staff were really quite lovely, and the massage included with the mani/pedi was a nice touch. I just wish more care could have been put into my nails, and that I hadn't spent $60 on something I ended up having to do myself.

I had a deluxe pedicure and it was honestly the most amazing pedicure I've ever had. They massaged my legs and feet then used hot stones to massage again...and the paraffin wax on my feet...HEAVEN! I never write reviews but my girlfriend suggested I should cause I won’t shut up about my first salon experience. Now this is my girlfriend’s regular place where she gets her nails done and she’s been begging me to to get my toes done with her for forever. Well after all the years where I straight up refused, I finally decided why not. Well let me tell the guys out there, get your toes done!!!....it’s a relaxing experience and I see why you ladies go and treat yourself monthly. I had Ruby do my nails and she did an amazing job. She removed my callus, a scrub on my calves, nice foot soak, some sort of moisturizer for my feet and legs, a fun design and the cherry on top a relaxing foot/leg massage. I can’t believe I got all that for $65, I would have paid double. I definitely recommend this place, looks like I’ll be tagging along with my girlfriend more often.

This has got to be "THE" place to go in Victoria! Trust me on this one, people! My wife & I have been going to this spa at least monthly ever since Lavender opened her business. We live in Duncan and gladly make the hour long drive to and from Victoria just to get to Victoria Nail & Spa to use their services. (And... its not like Duncan doesn't have any Nail Spas!) They stock a great selection of polishes and speciality care products to take care of their clients needs. I had some skin condition problems with my feet and they suggested I use some of the "Footlogix" topical foot-care products that they stock. I'm happy to be able to say that I'm now the proud owner of a couple of pretty great looking feet! I had fought against these skin problems for several years and its great that this has now "Finally" got cleared up. Lavender, Ruby & Chantal ( AKA"The Foot Ferry") are all simply "AWSOME" at what they do and go above and beyond to look after their clients! This evening for instance, we got away late from Duncan because we were late getting out of a Veterinarian appointment. We weren't able to get there until 5:15 and even though they officially close at 7:00 PM, they actually stayed there until 8:30 to finish both of our Mani-Pedi's! Such Great Service! What business's do this sort of thing for people these days! These people do! That's who! I tell ya'! You gotta' go to see these lovely ladies! They "WILL" take care of you!

Out of all the nail places I've tried in Vic (a lot) this one is my absolute favorite! The staff is always super nice and willing to help create the design you want. They have a great selection of colours and other nail accessories which I find a lot of places in Victoria don't have. It's also really nice that you can book appointments through Facebook messanger and that they usually reply pretty quickly.

Loved my nails and the girl who did them. My friends nails took twice as long as mine and hers did not look very good. Both our nails chipped and the gel polish peeled off after a week. Also had concerns that the shop had every manicure and pedicure seat filled, no social distancing being done. Staff wore masks which was good but every 2nd seat should have been left empty to adhere with PHO orders. Overall, not a bad experience wish nails lasted longer. Previous gel polishes I've done lasted 3-4 weeks at other places. Staff were very friendly.

If I could give 10 stars , I would. I love this place. The women are professional and knowledgeable about caring for your feet. My toenails were thick and discolored and they reshaped them and made them look pretty enough for sandles which I had long ago given up on ever wearing again. Then showed me how to make them healthy again.

What a great experience. The girls who work here really care about what they do and it shows. I have been coming here for almost four years and I am always happy. The gel polish lasts longer than any where els I have been. They don’t use smelly products so I can breath easy. They helped me clear up my foot and toenail fungus and did not make me feel weird or embarrassed by it. They give really good foot massages also. I strongly recommend you try this place.

I'm currently sitting in a chair here at Victoria Nail Spa. There's paraffin wax on my feet and I'm enjoying a really nice back and waist massage in their recliner chairs. This is all after I've had a hot rock massage on my calfs, feet and ankles, as well as a coconut sugar scrub. This is the second time I've come here with my father and brother in-law who are from out of town, we made our appointment just this afternoon and they've stayed open 45 minutes later, and counting, than their regular closing time. The customer service here is second to none and they've got a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. We've been chatting about our families and sharing stories the entire time. We really appreciated the whole experience and we'll definitely be back soon. Thank you!
