I've been going to see Pavi for years. I've been to both the Douglas St. and Johnson St. locations (the new location on Lower Johnson is beautiful). Both offer great customer service. Their prices are the best in Victoria. I appreciate that Pavi is quick and thorough and takes care of what needs to be taken care of without me having to ask for it. Walk-ins never have to wait long for threading. Pavi is very accommodating when it comes to last minute bookings. Great business, I highly recommend.

DO NOT GO THERE. They TOTALLY botched my eyebrows and took of my whole arch on the one side. She also seemed to be in a rush. Terrible experience. Left pissed off, do not recommend at all. Never ever going back.

Sunrise Day Spa is the best place to go for all of your beauty needs! I have been a client since they first opened 16 years ago and have always been super happy with everything! I regularly am complimented on my eyebrows and the laser hair removal treatment is incredible! The results have been very very good and the appearance my my skin on my legs and armpits is so flawless now. Pavi is an amazing business owner and the staff are so friendly as well! The prices are very good and the facility is very clean. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else for beauty needs in Victoria this place is the best!

My sister and I booked for a mani and pedi together (sister date) and only sat beside each other for half of the appointment as they only had one mani station off in a corner. This is after I went in early for some lash services and had product seep into my eyes and burn, and have the woman roughly scratch off the product from my eyes. After she did that she reefed on my nail cuticles until they bled as well. My sister has her own story of the worst pedi shes ever had.. more to come. Update: my gel polish lasted less than one week, and she left about 2mm from the cuticle unpainted. WORST.

Came here because of the great reviews everyone has place. So my fiance dropped in to get her eyebrows done. She was greeted and sat down. It was great up to that point. She was then left sitting for an hour as other drop ins were taken ahead of her. Never again. Go any where else is my suggestion.

Puneet did my eyebrow threading and was very informative on how to keep them looking great in the future. She was also great at answering all my questions regarding Laser Hair Removal and offered me information pamphlets to take home and read over before committing to anything. I really appreciated that Puneet did that and didn’t turn into the aggressive sales-person type, so thanks Puneet! Also, one of the things that stood out to me the most at Sunrise was how INCREDIBLY CLEAN it was. Given that we are in the middle of a pandemic, I always appreciate that, and it was spotless in there!! Thanks for a great first time as a customer, I will definitely return, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for some beauty treatments and self love!

She did not burn me, as what has happened elsewhere, and the results of hair removal are unbelievable. The ONLY place in town I trust with my eyebrows. I moved to Victoria for university and had to find a place to make my usual and I couldn't have found a better one! I usually just get my eyebrows threaded and face waxed, which always turns out fantastic. I also recently got my hair dyed here, and the hairstylist did a great job, I came out completely satisfied. All the employees are very nice and friendly, and the owner - Pavi - is so sweet and so beautiful! :)

Excellent place to get your grooming done! Being a man, I don't feel awkward going to a Spa where you'll only find ladies. I get my eyebrows threaded, pits waxed and sometimes beard shaped here. I've never really experienced anything bad with them. I find this place and it's staff to be professional and pensive about your likes, they always ask if you're OK with they service they provided. The only drawback I find with this salon is that it's a little pricey for some jobs, but I don't consider that too much of a disadvantage to amend my review and subtract one star off. All in all, nice place with a nice staff!

I've had waxing done at quite a few places around town including some of the pricier "spas"-- the couple different staff I've been to at Sunrise have done a way better job for a way more reasonable price. If you're more interested in having your services done well than having a "spa atmosphere" then I would highly recommend this place.
