Had an Appt. Staff was very friendly. The salon is very clean and has comfortable chairs with a vibrating option. I needed a pedicure, my friend needed her gel nails repaired. They saved her nails. I've had a badly injured big toenail that is finally growing out & they were able to do a repair that gives me a whole nail for the first time in 15 years! I'll be back to have my splitting fingernails repaired.

I have been going to Palace Nails Spa for a few years how and I have to say, out of all the nail spas around they are the best! The owners are sweet, kind people and work very hard. During the pandemic they have ensured to have all protocols in place to keep their space healthy and clean and I’ve always felt very safe here. I love my nails every time! And I go every two weeks. I send my friends and family here and they are also always very happy. Very reasonably priced as well. Cant go wrong when you visit Palace Nail Spa!

I came here for a mani pedi with a friend. Unfortunately it was the worst mani and pedi I have ever had. I think this place is possibly capable of better but the girl who did my nails seemed either inexperienced or else just didn't care. She did not seem to want to be there and did not put much effort into the service I paid for. My nails were not clean at the end and there was still a lot of dead skin around my cuticles and nails. I asked part way through if she could remove more but she barely removed any. The best part of getting a mani pedi is leaving feeling like my nails are fresh and looked after and I didn't feel this way at all so it felt like a waste of money and was really disappointing.

I am a nail tech and took my mother in law here for shared pedicures. I was disgusted that the tools they brought out in a plastic bin were all used and worn down. Including the files. Not hygenic at ALL!

Awsome place to get an affordable manicure. They are super gentle with the tools I have never had my nail needs get got, or been scratched with a file. They are really really good. Also everyone thinks my nails are real. If you don't like crazy over done nail art and your looking for something simple and elegant this is the place for you.

First time here. Was recommended by a friend. The first set I had 3 nails that bubbles and peeled off. And one that came off not even a week after visiting. When I went back to get them fixed he rushed and forgot to put the clear gloss coat on then the Matt so it wouldn't bubble and peel off. Also my pinky nail came off again because he did not prime my nail before applying the gel power. My first time here I was liquid gel and he talked me out of it because this was a cheaper option. My experience with liquid gel is that it is stronger and last longer. Just another nail place that uses the cheaper stuff to get you to come back more often. I've been getting my nails done for 15+ years. I wouldn't waste your money on the gel nails here.

Also, I went with a friend and the person who did her manicure has a very bad temper, she was rude and unkind. Very dissatisfied with the service, also it was extremely expensive, not coming back.

Rude and very unprofessional. These people definitely were not trying for repeat business. My daughter and I went in only for gel polish (a service they offer) and they were immediately annoyed that we were not getting manicures. Tried to upsell my 12 year old right in front of me. While getting our polish another lady came and leaned on the counter, right in front of me, where they had a conversation about 18” from my face in their native language. The women doing our nails never spoke to us, not once. While my daughters nails were drying the woman doing her nails started to cut her toenails, sitting in the chair in front of us!! Gross!! After we paid I said goodbye and thank you to which none of them replied. I said it again and the woman who did my daughter’s nails smiled. We will not be returning which is unfortunate because I they are in our neighbourhood.

Friendly staff, and clean establishment with good equipment and set-up. The person who did my nails seemed to be in a rush, and didn't trim 3 of my cuticles. The paint peeled off of those nails within a few days. Also, I spent almost twice as much money as I had planned. Their website price list is outdated. Yikes!

I usually like this place and get a pedicure every few months there with my daughter. I would have given only one star if I had never been there before yesterday. 1. Yesterday I had the older woman and I told her I had a sore spot on my leg and to please try to avoid it. I had to tell her three more times; the last time she grabbed my leg with her thumb pressing on the sore. I flinched and kinda yelled at her. 2. She gave me the hot parrifin wax and left it on way too long. I had to remind her that I was waiting for her. 3. Then when rinsing she turned the water on full hot at which point I screamed. I will likely not go back. Or I will ask for someone else.

This is not the place for lash extensions. The lash tech is uncommunicative and does not listen to what you want. The first time she did a fill wasn't bad but she said I should get a new set and they would give me 10 percentage off. The new set was really long especially at the inner part of my eye. The next time I went for a fill she took pictures of my lashes and said I needed yet another new set. I told her no that she should do a lash that was more suitable. Today I went for my last fill. Again she said I should have a new set done and I said no just a fill. She did a fill in less than 1/2 hour, walked away and didn't say anything else to me. I have been getting lashes done for 5 years and never had such a bad experience. Never have i had to get 2 new sets within a 2 month period. She doesn't take the time or effort to get a mirror and show you the final results. There is absolutely no communication at all. This is not the way to treat a customer. My lashes look awful and I'm going somewhere else tomorrow to have them removed. A good lash technichian takes their time to do a good job and uses lashes suitable for the client. This was not the case here. The lash tech glued a row on top of my lashes and the next fill, glued the lashes on top of the other lashes. They were so bad, they pulled on my eye lid. I had them removed at another place and it took an hour to get them off there was so much glue. My own lashes came off with them. I have had lash extensions for 5 years and never had this happen before. This is the worst place I have ever been to.

BAD EXPERIENCE. 3 stars because I received a gel polish pedicure once and the man did a very nice job. BUT I went back for a gel polish pedi mani and the older lady messed up my nails! First off, she removed my previous polish with the electric nail file with way too much pressure and actually thinned my nails and caused me pain. She also left the nail polish remover (with acetone) on for a very long time which also contributed to damaging my nails. She was also rough. My GEL polish is now chipping only a week after. If you’re going to go here, make sure you get someone other than the older woman.

I was so happy to find Tina again at her new nail spa (she previously worked at Nail Art 360 at Mayfair Mall). If you are looking for a true spa experience at an incredible price, this place is for you! NEVER have I seen a nail salon SO impeccably clean! The quality of craftsmanship and customer service far exceeded my expectations. I have been wearing acrylic nails for 13+ years and this is by far the best experience I have ever had. The waxing room was spotless, too. If you are tired of the mass production type of nail salons that you find in the mall, please give Tina a try. The setting is so tranquil....a real spa experience. If I could have given more than 5 stars, I would have. Absolutely stellar.

The service here is so good, and they are super accommodating. They stayed open past their off hours to give me a manicure. I got stilleto acrylics which turned out great. Unfortunately, because of my job, I had to get them filed down, and they did it at no cost. I highly recommend.

I’m a former nail tech and would like to see sterilized implements and single use files!! My daughter also came and had artificial nails put on and they were horrendous. Apex off, not uniform and the painted art was not good, the first 2 nails artistically were okay, but after that, you could tell the woman rushed. I will find the photo of her nails and add ASAP

Of all the nail places I've been to in town, I think they are by far the best. They always fo a good job and go the extra mile. I usually go for a deluxe pedicure and at most nail places they just rush through it. Palace nails makes it a nice experience, more like a full service spa would.

I was going here feb into November made a app with the owner as always do .. was goin on a trip and asked if I get a few things done and bring a friend do I get a deal ? Oh yes 10% off she said and I do something nice for your trip ! I made the appointment with her! She was not there and went on vacation that day and months before I’ve been talking to her about this appointment! I was totally not happy with this also didn’t get the 10% off and didn’t get the service that we talked about ! So I didn’t go here again till a couple weeks ago and made the appointment with her again on the phone talking to her ! Get there and she gets some one else to do my appointment so pedicure and eye brows waxed n tinted needless to say my eyebrows are not the way she does them and that’s why I made the appointment with her ! So im not happy and think this place just wants your money ! Not interested in keeping clients happy just money money money ! A screws your appointment!

While getting a nail fill one day, the woman doing the fill said she could also do my eyelash fill and she would make them look natural and charge me less than I was currently paying at a downtown salon. I agreed to come back and get my eyelash fill there. When I returned another girl did my fill and immediately when she was done I told her I didn't like them. They felt weird. By the evening I was going crazy with itching and burning. It was too late to get anyone to fix them and i wasn't going to go back. I ended up getting an emergency appointment with the salon I had been to downtown. What should have taken 5 minutes to remove the lashes took 45 minutes of her having to peel each lash off my EYELIDS and eyelashes. I lost most of my natural lashes. I tried to call the Palace several times but the manager wouldn't take my call, staff always said she was away. This was a horrible experience. The girl who removed them for me said she had never seen such a horrible mess. She said it looked like there were globs of glue poured on my eyelids and then lashes thrown at them. DON'T GET YOUR EYELASH EXTENSIONS HERE.

I am new to Victoria and have been trying to find a nail salon I can frequent. This business was so friendly and welcoming and the customer service was top notch. They were able to fit me in after business hours and still took their time with me. The service was incredibly personable and felt so much like a family atmosphere! Not to mention the end product was incredibly elegant and beautiful. I would reccomend this place to anyone!

I was disappointed with my nails. Not sure what happened. Had been there one time before and had a marvellous nail job. I have white powder nails not sure of the proper term. The polish on the nails came off on two fingers within a few days. Several others followed shortly. My nails looked terrible. I ended up going to another salon in Victoria about 10 days later to have my nails redone. Usually my nails last 3 weeks. The other salon did a remarkable job. 2 weeks later and they still look great.
