This is my second eyelash technician and I am so happy to have found her. My first eyelash tech worked out of her basement, she was not practiced or educated, I believe she just took a course and began applying eyelash extensions. It wasn't long before my lashes were falling off. She even told me not to cleanse them. Whereas Haniye has mastered the techniques through years of training. She is educated about the care necessary for longevity to get the most out of your lash investment. She offers top quality services, uses top grade high end products and takes her time with each of her clients to ensure superior service. I've visited 5 star spas across North America and I am pleased to have found a spa in my hometown, that raises the bar in spa standards for me. My first experience at My Beauty Secrets was for a hydra facial. Above and beyond a "normal" 5 star hydra facial experience, I was pleasantly surprised to discover My Beauty Secrets also includes Radio Frequency (for skin tightening), ultrasound therapy for skin tightening and collagen production (which Christie Brinkley swears by), cold gun therapy for skin rejuvenation, ozone steam (which feels amazing throughout the entire facial!), and quantum photon therapy. Not only was this above and beyond, but their pricing is more accessible than anywhere I've ever been to! Just one of those treatments on its own is more than the cost of their hydra facial session. It's amazing. So now I've treated my mom, my daughter several times (for acne scarring and there was a remarkable difference after her first treatment), and several friends have visited the spa, all of us stoked to have discovered this gem. I've been back countless times for various treatments, and as of late I've also tried their EMSculpt machine. I've posted a before and after photo. This machine blows my mind. Just one 30 min session is equivalent to 20k situps. It's the laziest, most effective workout of my life and the results keep coming. It helped me surpass my fitness plateau and strengthen my core. I watched scores of YouTube videos and read tons of articles on EMSculpt and everyone gave two thumbs up. What sets these guys apart from the rest is that they believe in making these treatments at accessible prices so more people can have access to them, so instead of charging $1000 per session they only charge $200. I was floored and so excited by their mission statement and committment to providing healthy self-care and beauty. They recently introduced this state-of-the-art fat melting machine (I don't remember the technical name) to the spa, that actually freezes and kills fat cells and also some funky infrared sauna you lay down in (it looks like something Mork & Mindy would use). I can't wait to try both. I am a forever client!

today i walked into this beautiful space feeling stiff, tight, anxious, tired, beaten down, full of pain both physical and emotional, with years of built up tension and deep trauma weighing on my shoulders. i was met with kindness by Ariya, a message therapist and energy worker (to say the least). she was welcoming and warm right from the very beginning and after 30 seconds of talking to her i felt myself return to my body, and was very comfortable. what followed was a 2 hour session of incredible deep tissue massage, basically talk therapy, and amazing energy work. i was absolutely blown away, and got SO much more out of this experience than i ever thought imaginable. i left happy, light hearted, deeply touched both emotionally and spiritually, and my physical body felt like it was floating on a cloud. i could not be more grateful for my time with her today, and i very quickly booked 3 more sessions with her right on the spot. 1000 stars⭐ HIGHLY recommend spending time with her, and visiting this gorgeous space. thank you again Ariya.

I was lucky enough to be chosen for a make-over by Inspired Senior Living Magazine, and part of the treatment included microblading of my eyebrows by Haniye. I am a senior, and not up-to-date on the latest news in the world of beauty, and I had never even heard of such a thing. I knew, however, that my eyebrows sure needed work. They were straggly and all over the place, with white hairs among the brown. I had pretty much given up on them. This was more than a year ago, and my brows STILL look great. I have not had to tweeze, brush or colour them even once. Moreover, the treatment was so easy and pain-free that I actually fell asleep while Haniye was working on me. I give her and the treatment itself my highest recommendation.

I've had both eye lash extensions and eye brow microblading done by Haniye. The lash extensions looked so nice and lasted an incredibly long time. As for the eyebrow microblading, if you are at all considering this, you must see Haniye. She is meticulous and methodical in getting the right brow shape and color just perfect. They look so natural. Haniye allows plenty of time between clients so she is able to spend as much time as needed on the procedure. At home care is thoroughly explained to obtain the best possible outcome. I have no hesitation in recommending Haniye. She is such a lovely person and so patient and caring in her work.

I had my lashes done for the first time ever via a Groupon deal. That's when I met Haniye. What can I say ... I've never looked back. I was so very impressed with Haniye. She's a beautiful, smart, and exceedingly professional young woman. I trust her 100% and would never contemplate going somewhere else. Her salon is a clean, bright, peaceful environment with exceptional views of the harbour. An appointment with Haniye is just about the most decadent, kind, and relaxing thing that one can do for oneself. I can't recommend Haniye highly enough. After the first four months of having my eyebrows threaded and tinted by the very talented Haniye Ghajar, she kindly suggested that I consider microblading as the tail ends of my eyebrows were thinning out a bit and as I soon were to discover the benefit of mircoblading it makes the brows look completely ‘full’ but natural looking at the same time. Viewing Haniye’s Instagram, I was blown away by the amazing eyebrows she created for her other clients and I wanted my brows to look the same! The first microblading session was about an hour and a half in duration and all you feel is a little scratch on your brows as she applies the natural pigment into the skin. The experience is not painful or uncomfortable, in fact, it’s more uncomfortable having your eyebrows waxed! After the session, I didn’t recognize my brows, they looked fantastic and totally transformed the shape of my face! Haniye stressed how important it was to follow the daily aftercare routine, which I strictly followed and she kept in touch with me to see how I was doing following the procedure. A month later Haniye did a microblading ‘touch up’ on the brows to fill them in a bit more which took about thirty minutes. I am very happy with the final results and so pleased I followed through on her suggestion, it’s such a great ‘investment’ as I continually receive compliments on how great my brows look and also get asked who did them! I would highly recommend anyone at any age to get them done by Haniye, she’s talented, very professional and clearly communicates the process from start to finish. Thank you Haniye!

I am very impressed with their full Brazilian hair removal technology. I have low pain tolerance in general, but the new laser machine and the skillful technician has helped me feel at ease. I feel it is worth every penny. Employees there are very friendly and the place is clean and professional. I also had full hydra organic+ microneeding+skinsuperfood serum+natural skin pigment+Light therapy or its called BB Grow Facial. My face was glow right after the 1st treatment. I have so many good reviews for this place! 1. They are supporting me through a huge hormonal acne breakout I had after my 30's. 2. Sheila Ko has done amazing and helpful facials, focusing on my acne. 3. One day I even came with a bad allergy/irritation reaction I had from a medication on my eyes, and she literally made it go away in less than 30 minutes. UNBELIEVABLE!! Thanks to her I could enjoy the rest of my weekend. 4. Also, due to my busy life I forgot my appt once, and they were so nice with me, they called me to see if everything was OK and they easily book me the same day. 5. My skin feels fantastic! Sheila is extremely knowledgeable and very caring. Not only is she a fantastic esthetician but she has magic hands and included a face+neck massage with my facial! I didn't even have to tell her that my lymphatic system has been feeling out of whack. She just automatically knew! Experience-wise I would give it six stars if I could. Best facial ever!! My only suggestion for improvement would be to start the appointment at the scheduled time. I understand the difficulties with covid-19. Thankfully, I was not in a rush today! However, on a day where I am in a rush, starting the appointment 10 minutes late can make a difference. Regardless of this, I will definitely be back as the experience was worth it!
