Have attended multiple parties here with my daughters. The staff are amazing! Super friendly, very helpful and always great at including my littlest (who is 2). My eldest had a haircut here and it also was a great experience.

We've been coming to Lizzy Lee since our little girls' first haircuts and it's always a treat both for them and for us. We were in yesterday to get our daughters spiffed up for photo day at school and it was another great experience. Super knowledgeable and proficient hair stylists who seem to nail their cuts and styles every time; we wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Prices are high for a kids cut, and they have a lot of fairly young stylists and staff, but generally I find the service quite good. We had a couple of other stylists cut my son's hair when we started taking him there, but we only see Caroline now, and she's a parent herself and is patient but firm with him. He started out hating getting his hair cut but now is just fine (helps having the movies to watch), and actually looks forward to it.

Amazing. Our little got her 1st haircut here in Dec 2020. Paw patrol/Netflix to distract kids, patient hairdresser, and exciting time for sensory unique kids. She was able to get the 1st haircut package for $28. 2 pictures and a strand of her hair. She def enjoyed the attention and didn't want to leave haha. From mullet to chin length adorbs. Irvan (I think she said her name was) I highly recommend. My little, when finished, got to pick a prize. I like the setup of the store, bright colored multi color walls, tvs, comfy chairs, fun stuff to buy on one side and the other side is the hair salon. If planning to go, covid safety : little must wear a mask. Hand sanitizer station. Check in with cashier 1st. Then wait by station till called I highly recommend this place to others who are nervous about their kids haircuts. Yes, the price is a bit high, but what you get, and a patient kid focused hairdresser, it's worth every penny

I went to pierce my daughter's ears. I decided for it after looking for its rating. Positive: clean, inviting environment, nice earrings, two people pierce simultaneously makes it fast. Negative: incorrect location of the piercing, long process, not precise measurements. They don't master the art of piercing. Good place for kids if you don't mind a mediocre job.

We had an amazing first hair cut for our daughter today with Blue! Our daughter had a pretty hardcore mullet situation after many at home haircuts, and we left with a sweet short bob. Blue was great at pulling out toys and distractions when needed, and acted fast when my daughter got fussy. Everyone seemed patient and friendly, ideal for stressed our parents hoping their kids will sit still enough for an actual cut! We can’t wait to return.

Great customer service! Brought our 11 month old to get her ears pierced and I admit I was nervous about it. The staff was very comforting and Lana the piercer was very professional and kind. One thing that made us interested in getting our daughters ears pierced at this establishment that separated it from other places of business, is that they pierce both ears at the same time. Your little one only goes through the pain once. Thank you for the adorable earrings!

Extremely bad experience. Very gender oriented shop and biased staff . Ervin ruined my 8yr old son’s hair & kept on blaming him for having thick hair . Later not accepting her fault instead refused to do the hair cut on my second kid. I paid for both stylists and their tips plus made purchases as well coz I wanted to come back again but now not sure if I want to ...These people need to get further training in customer services, hygiene and hair cutting for boys as well.

Tried to book for 5 pm. Asked me to come in at 4:50 instead. Arrived at 4:45 only to get our haircut started at 5:15. Asked the employee not to rush but she already had a few more people waiting. The other employee then hovered around and chatted with the employee cutting my child's hair, distracting her for almost 10 minutes. I requested a ''healthy two inches off' and my 10 yo was left with a crooked cut of an inch if lucky. (My daughter's hair is long and all one length...good thing we didn't need a structured cut!) This is not the first time we've had a bad cut at Lizzie Lee. The last time we asked to come back to correct it and the owner herself was disappointed in her employee's work but she was very kind and fixed it herself. We won't be back. I would highly recommend going elsewhere if you value your time and money.

Got toddler's hair cut twice with Ervin (who is amazing with squirrely kids). Pleased with process, price, and results. Slightly challenging to leave walking past all the toys and cool things, anticipate tantrums :P

My autistic son was kicked out for having a meltdown. Meltdowns ARE NOT tantrums! He cannot regulate his behavior on his own. The staff was made aware of his disability the last time he had a visit so I cannot understand why they suddenly decided to have a shallow and black and white attitude. The staff should be educated about different abilities. We will not be returning

This was amazing as I didn't know that there was a place that catered to toddlers haircuts. After trying to do it ourselves this was a welcome sight. The stylist was a practiced have and had great ways of keeping our little guy distracted.

If you have a little girl or boy this is the place to take them. Any hair or nail service you can get but it's orientated for children. The staff is super friendly. My daughter got the works done. Cut, colour, mani and pedi. She loved it. They brought her snacks while she had to wait for the colour to set. They have Netflix for the kids to watch. The prices are very good. Not over priced that you would have to pay at a normal salon.

My daughter is older now but she had so much fun at Lizzy Lee &Me Salon. Don't think she went to a birthday there but have seen them happening. You could make your own lotions and soaps. Fairly reasonable prices as far as I can remember. Never a complaint if we ever wanted to go here.

Absolutely the worst experience! After many stressful, home quarantine haircuts, I was looking forward to taking my son for a pleasant experience at a salon that specializes in children's cuts. We arrived exactly on time, as required by their policy. We stood waiting for nearly ten minutes, being ignored, before finally approaching the retail counter to find out why our scheduled stylist wasn't ready. The lady at the retail counter told us that the previous appointment had arrived late, that it would be another 10 minutes wait, and were asked if WE wanted to reschedule. By this time my son was becoming fussy & I was getting frustrated, but we were already there so I decided to wait. Finally we were called in. My son is 5 & has autism, so I told the stylist that I would hold him still whenever she needed. She did not ask for my assistance in any way, instead zoomed through the cut in less than ten minutes. The finished cut was uneven, unblended, & worse than the home cuts. This was an absolutely horrible experience & not what I expected from a professional salon. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. EDIT In response to the salon's reply: My son's appointment was at the end of July, no where near the back to school rush, & was booked online through their scheduling program. Furthermore, after booking it is made clear that late clients will be required to reschedule. A policy that they clearly don't abide by. Nothing you do will make me return to your business.

Well. My niece and I had fun at Lizzy Lee. However, the package we got was underwhelming and felt rushed. We received the side by side manicures package. My niece liked hers but mine was so poorly done that it peeled and chiped by the next day. It looked so bad, that I had to take the polish off. I could have gotten better manicures, for less, at a real nail salon, but I chose lizzy Lee for the experience. I expected more for 90.00. Was in and out in 40 minutes. The staff member did not seemed that experience in doing nails.

Did a great job on my kid's first hair cut, which I had heavily delayed due to covid. Amber polished up her hair without super changing the style, just as we wanted! Fun selection of stuffies and hair clips and things in the shop so I could make her a little goodie bag to leave with. All in all, my 4 year old said her day was lovely. We also appreciated the Covid protocols still being in effect like wearing masks so that we didn't have to worry about the extra exposure.

My daughter was VERY nervous leading up to her first hair cut. The staff did an amazing job at making her feel comfortable and her haircut went very smoothly! The only suggestion I have is that they replace the toys on the waiting room table, they were a little dirty and ratty. We'll definitely be coming back here for another cut when it's time!

Unfortunately my daughter (9) was not too happy with her cut and it didn't seem like the hairdresser was willing to try to change it (maybe she didn't know how to do it? She didn't seem very confident). The cut and a couple of sparkly ribbons were quite expensive. I think that this is a great place for very little children, but maybe time for us to move on to a real salon.

I finally got a hold of someone, went through the booking, time etc...and found out they don't do birthday parties for children under 5. No where on the website does it state that. There was no options either, just sorry bye. Super disappointing.

Great place to take your children for hairstyles; or you could go with the whole pampering experience, finger and toe nails painting, chocolate facials. I use there hair braiding often for my four year old daughter, staff are friendly and my daughter is always very happy after the experience.

One time, an employee gave my daughter a crooked hair cut, we had to go back and fix it. At the same time, I witnessed an ear piercing that went wrong. The ear piercing was poked into this girl's ear the wrong way - it was not straight, both ears looked uneven. The little girl who was getting her ears pierced was crying and the mom was disappointed.

I bought the VIP & Me Groupon package for $68, choosing the chocolate facials and pedicures for my 6 yo and I, and added another child for the pedicure part for an extra $21 (my 4 yo wanted nothing to do with face masks). This review is edited because our first experience was underwhelming and rushed. However, right after I posted the review, I was offered a re-do. Our second experience was super fun and truly a special mommy/daughter activity. The staff were super attentive and thoughtful with things like neck pillows for relaxing while the chocolate mask dried, and offering the girls books and magazines when they started to fidget. They were super patient with my 4 yo and finished up the experience with a good dose of glitter in the girls’ hair. We all came away with super cute toes and some fun photos (including the take-home print) and I loved watching (and being part of) my girls’ experience. The whole experience was approx 1 1/2 hrs, including a glitter tattoo add-on. My daughters said the second time around was “two - no, ten times better!” and it’s clear this is the experience they want to offer. I think our first experience was the result of a very busy day and a less experienced staff member; this time we had a blast, felt really pampered and I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for some fun quality time with their daughter, it means so much more when you do it with them.

We go there several times a year and my daughter adores it! She has a disability and they've always been able to accommodate her in quieter times and with a slightly longer appointment. She loves looking around the store too. It's a little girls' dream come true - all the tutus, crowns, jewelry, nail polish. We have also held her birthday party there several months ago and the staff are so energetic and fun it put my "fun mom" status under serious question. Great salon!

We got the worst experience at this place. If your child gets a little bit uncomfortable with haircuts this might not be the place for you. We were told by the owner to leave as our crying son was making everyone uncomfortable and told us to come back at a less busy time, even though we were there the evening before to precisely avoid this situation and even though the place was empty, there was no one there that could cut our son's hair. Disappointed but OK so far, they have the right to admission. The best comes next, we were sent away with our son's haircut half way done, not a pretty sight for sure AND THEY CHARGED US FOR IT. Safe to say, we are not coming back

My daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. We had gone to another salon the day before and had a horrible time so to make it up to her we went here and were not disappointed. Blue the stylist was amazing with my daughter (4). She distracted her with the tv then when she had to cut her bangs she played games and tickled her face with the brush to make her laugh. To top it off she was able to pick a lollipop got sparkle hair spray and a purple wash out streak. I could not be happier and neither could my daughter. Thank you so so much! We can't wait for our next haircut.

We have taken both of our girls here for their first haircuts. They do a special cut or style and give you a before and after photo with a lock of the first hair they've cut. There is a waiting area with toys and the movie on so if there is a sibling they won't get bored.

A brightly coloured salon for pint size clients. Appointments are necessary. A choice of prize at the end of your visit and reasonable prices. The walk out to the mall entails passing through the glittery choices of fashion jewellery and stuffies that attract attention. It can be difficult to escape without a purchase.
