Jenny and the team at QC nails are truly exceptional! I moved to the island 2 months ago and had 2 horrible experiences with getting my nails done where they wouldn’t stay on and the designs were awful. Jenny was quick, beyond friendly, knew exactly what she was doing and my nails are durable and so pretty ???? I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and know when the nail tech knows what they are doing. Jenny is fantastic! I highly recommend anyone to QC nails. Price point is very good too.

Jenny gave me a manicure with Gel Polish. She is very friendly and the service she gave me was outstanding. Her and Queenie offer beverages upon arrival and the salon has a very relaxing feel to it. I went here for the first time and Jenny did an amazing job! All my nails were the same length, the same shape, they aren't crooked, etc. They charge a very fair price for their services. I will definitely be recommending her to any of my friends who want quality nails for a good price!!

I love this place. Ming has been doing my manicures and pedicures since they've opened. Everyone there is nice, friendly, warm, professional and I love the fact they always remember my favourite soft drink ! I can't believe how rude some people are by putting up nasty comments. The salon is beautiful, conveniently located, and seemed fairly reasonably priced. However, they made us wait a long time for our pedicure appointment to get started. We were there for 2+ hours for just a pedicure. During our pedicures the techs left for multiple extended periods of time (20+ minutes) without explanation and left our feet in cold water / on cold towels. The vibe wasn’t relaxing as the staff were arguing constantly and telling each other how they were doing our nails wrong. They kept cutting our skin and causing bleeding and then downplaying it/ blaming it on us. The techs cut our nails super short and on very very irregular angles. When they painted the nails they had obvious spots missing and were very rushed. We were booked in for manicures too, but decided to leave after the pedicure experience. I realize they were short staffed today, but they took on another walk in client close to closing while there wasn’t even enough staff to finish our pedicures properly.

I had such a lovely first experience at QC nails! I had first phoned when they were closed to make an appointment. I didn’t bother leaving a voicemail and figured I would just call back the next day, but much to my surprise the salon actually called me back first! I booked an appointment the for the next day and am so happy that I did. My current set of acrylics were all chipped and falling off and I left with the most beautiful fresh set I’ve had in a long time! I loved having a great conversation while getting my nails done as well. I will definitely be back :).

I have been going to this shop for sometime now. I have always loved it. Recently the staff is short. I have had 2 not so good experiences. The one staff memeber is clearly not trained. Way too long to complete the job. I do realize I am here to relax, however, things do need to be kept on a timely manner. Wrong equipment used this time around. I felt as though I should have done it myself. When I asked to have some help I was given cold shoulder. I love the atmosphere but unfourtunatley I will be going else where.

Came here with my mom and daughter. Was a lovely overall experience. 3 weeks later my daughter started to develop skin peeling by her nails on her hands and feet. After a doctor appointment they determined it was healing trauma/fungal from getting her nails done. I was very sad. Although my nails and my moms nails experienced no issues they were clearly too rough on my daughter. We won’t be back.

My Name Is Tasha Cowey Today was my very 1st visit to QC Nails..... I got a full set of acrylic bright green nails with Chanel decals done today by Jenny, and I am super happy with my results... Jenny and her staff were all extremely professional and extremely friendly and nice ppl , and my nails look fun but classy, aka fresh af , Jenny was my nail tech today , she is very nice she did an amazing job with my nails, she got my shape perfectly the way I like them , she paid close attention to detail she made sure that I was happy and all in a timely matter , she also made sure to let me know that she was concerned about me being in pain even though I wasn't in pain at all , I am an extremely happy customer and I will definitely be a returning customer ... I had an amazing first visit to QC nails last night! The ladies there were so warm, kind, and friendly, and my manicure was one of the best that I have ever had. There are so many beautiful colours to choose from, and the detail and care that went into my manicure made it look perfect! The new space is gorgeous (clean, spacious, and bright) and COVID-19 protocols were followed so I felt very safe being there. There is no better time to support a new, local business - especially when they are SO sweet and work SO incredibly hard! Highly recommend!

Queenie and Jenny are wonderful. Every time I've been to QC, I've been so happy with my gel fingers and toes. They have a huge variety of colours to choose from and always do an incredible job. The salon is super clean and well equipped to follow all COVID guidelines, even providing masks if you forget one! Highly recommend this place, so happy to have them in Colwood!
