I am out of town and always make a point of going to Deco De Mode for a pedicure. Their service providers are so friendly and welcoming and they do such a great job. The pedicure chairs are also very comfortable. I am recommending highly.

I’ve been here numerous times and the services have been great. Got the laser hair removal procedure with Katia, she’s great and I’m very satisfied with the results. Edit: Only rating it a 3 star because I had gone in for a lipblush procedure and I didn’t see no change after they were healed. There was zero colour and they look completely the same! I got in touch with them, and was told the owner would get back to me, but I haven’t heard back. Disappointed because I did see myself as a potential regular client to try out different services. Hope you respond after seeing this review.

I got eyelash lift n tint cause it’s like having mascara on without the effort/time/annoyance and without the darkness under the eyes. Danielle did them twice, did a great job, i didn’t want the corners done n she did just like I’d asked. In December 2021 the room temperature was comfortable and the music was enjoyable. Kat is an absolute gem! She has made my experience for the last year of laser hair removal an absolute breeze. I have dark hair with a typically olive skin tone and it's taken about a year to rid my bikini line almost completely well my underarms were gone in 4 treatments and my leg hair has diminished drastically. I got my laser hair removal done by the amazing Kat. She is so personable and I felt comfortable with her right away. I got Brazilian and under arms done. I had fine/medium hair and light brown. It took about a year to complete and that was including time off due to Covid. There was VERY little to no pain each session. I cant recommend Kat enough.

Juned was awesome. He asked if I wanted to come in the day before. I came in early for my appointment by 3 hours day of instead. He made my blonde grown out balayage black and sleek and beautiful. UPDATE: the owner contacted me immediately and resolved the situation instantly. She was very sweet and I felt taken care of right away. I didn't expect it. Things happen, but if the business cares for its customers, you can tell. Thank you, Anna. I will be coming back! $136 (pre tip) for gel mani and pedi and THIS is what I leave home with. I didn't see right away, only noticed after walking out. My nails are not long enough to pick at the dried gel all over my finger tips, I'll be stuck with this for at least a week. Thanks Deco De Mode, but never again!! Asian walk in salons are literally better than this!! Very disappointed!

I went to Deco De Mode for eyebrow threading. The website was easy to follow and the online booking system was very simple to use which I appreciated. There was hardly any wait time at the salon and I felt like all necessary COVID precautions were well laid out. I had a problem with pricing (website said eyebrow threading was $13 and I was being charged $18) which was resolved. The website has now been updated to reflect the $18 price point, which is disappointing as I chose Deco De Mode as it was the cheapest (yet highest reviewed) salon for this service. My service was very quick (about 10 minutes) and I have been to other salons for as little as $7 with the same quality threading and professionalism, so I'd like to see the price lowered to reflect the time, service and industry standard, or at least student pricing. I was happy with how my brows turned out and the products used (however I had to pluck a few missed hairs when I got home). Overall a good experience, just not worth the $18 for me personally.

I honestly can say the woman that did my make up was amazing, she did a beautiful job. However, when I booked my appointment online it stated the make up application was $80.00 (a little steep but fine), when I went to pay I was charged over $100.00 not thinking about it and needing to rush to my event I later looked at the receipt and saw that they charged me $85.00 for the make up again this is fine but they charged me an extra $15.00 on top of that for a "product". I called and explained the situation to the women up front and she said she would talk to her manager, she got back to me and said it was a "glitch" in their system and I shouldn't be charged for that I could choose to either A. get a refund or B. Use the money towards another service, I don't live in Victoria so I decided on the refund. I went to the store today to get the money back and the woman at the front tried to argue with me saying that this was a cost for them using their own make-up????? So I guess when you go here you are paying $85.00 for someone to apply your own make up on your face ... make sure you clarify with the store before you book you may have to pack up your make up bag. I was pretty disheartened having to make the trip back to get the $15.00 and then be argued with at the counter about this cost. Won't be returning which is unfortunate because their make up artist did a great job.

She is very knowledgeable and not at all pushy, which is always a concern of mine when I try a new place for my skin. After talking to her for the consultation, I totally trusted what she recommended for my anti aging concerns and went with a microneedling package. The treatment itself was only mildly uncomfortable due to the nature of it, but I felt at ease the whole time. I can’t wait to see my results and come back for more! It took me decades to stop biting my finger nails. Thanks to the nail artists at Deco, I was able to grow and strengthen my nails. I no longer have to sit on my hands or otherwise keep my fingers out of sight. I can have the nails shaped and subtly painted, or I can go all out (like I did for a milestone wedding anniversary) and have them literally sparkle. Regardless of my choice, I know it will be expertly done and I’ll love the result.

Reann's services are top notch! She's also very affable and a good communicator of available products and services and those she recommends for me. But the salon has rearranged its floor plan, such that customers like me are now seated too close to one another. Several of the nail technicians retain socially distanced stations, so the impression I get is that employees like Reann are 'ranked' lower and have to serve their customers in the 'bullpen' in the middle of the space. Not the spa feeling I felt when I first selected DDM years ago. Space along the walls where techs used to have their stations is now used instead to promote products. The products, I hear, are very comfy... Considering the premium pricing for services at DDM, this customer-insensitive reorganization of space, especially while we are still awaiting full reopening of business activity in Victoria, leaves a bitter taste in this loyal customer's mouth.

Jocelyn was amazing! I had gotten my nails done at another place the day prior and it was a horrible experience that left me with a colour I hated. I called deco de mode and explained what happened and they put me in their first appointment the following day with Jocelyn. I explained what had happened and showed her a photo of what I was looking for. She was so sweet and nailed the colour immediately upon seeing my reference photo. She cleaned up the shape from the not so great manicure I’d received the day before, and left me feeling like a million bucks. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with her! If you want to get a laser treatment done. Look no further. Kat is the person to go to. I am a brown skinned person and was hesitant with the pigmentation and if the laser would be effective. I started the treatment sometime last year in 2020 and Kat eased me into it. My chin, neck, upper lip, side hair and underarm treatment showed results within a few sessions. Kat was available to answer my doubts and give me some skin care tips. I am happy with the results.

I swear by Candyce and Dani at Deco de Mode. Candyce is by far my favourite injector in Victoria (and this is coming from a downtown Toronto girl) Candyce has an honest and knowledgable approach. I got my first ever microneedling session done my Kat P! I was so nervous, i have anxiety and ptsd, I was scared abt the "needles" and just never having my skin treated for anything. I just want my facial scars gone and to feel okay taking pictures or doing my makeup. Kat answered my questions, was really guiding and informative with my awkward uncertain self, there was nice conversation and she shared some useful skincare tips just for general skin health. The microneedling was fairly comfortable and felt like a deep itch being satisfied or as Kat expressed it, deep exfoliation! I have an appointment for january already set up and I couldnt be more excited! Except for seeing my skin improve!

Josie and Tomo are my super stars so far ( I only did lashes and sugaring there :) They have a very nice protocol of calling them upon arrival before entering the salon, which prevents crowds at the reception. I have had nail appointments with Jocelyn and Reean and I am happy with the high level of care and professionalism I experienced. The stiletto nail extensions I regularly maintain are done by Jocelyn. She is a lovely human being and it is always nice to chat with her while she takes care of my nails! My nails are always treated with care and I am happy with the results everytime! All staff are welcoming and are able to provide directions in a professional manner either over phone or in-person. The staff are lovely, it’s nicely decorated, and well located near parking etc. Today was another great appointment for gel polish, and my very lovely gal who was doing my nails didn’t even mind that I wasn’t very chatty due to my Zoom fatigue.
