Spent a week at Birch Lodge recently. Picturesque place with lovely cottages. Whether your into fishing, atving, beaching, swimming, cliff jumping, boating, relaxing, canoeing, hiking, campfires, golfing or all of that this is the place for you. Hosts Klaus and Dianne are wonderful people. We spent a couple days atving through the backwoods with guide Klaus. He impressed us with his exceptional knowledge of the area and wildlife. The spectacular views we were treated to were awesome! Cottage was cute, clean and perfect. Beach and lake are nothing short of amazing. Took in nine holes at a beautiful close by course. Highly recommended!

Klaus and his wife Dianne are absolutely amazing people! We took our children up there for a week last Summer and it was wonderful! For a couple of the days it was just us and the owners. Dianne had found a baby hawk on the side of the road and brought him home to take care of until he could go to the animal rescue she had contacted. They are very professional and respectful people. I honestly can not wait to bring my family back there it was so enjoyable. ATV and special activities were closed due to COVID restrictions, but all in all it was an amazing trip!

Birch Lodge is a beautiful resort on Granary Lake. We enjoyed the breath taking hiking, fall leaves turning and stunning lake scenery during our 10-day stay. The fishing was non stop activity with Klaus the lodge owner taking our 4-man crew to every fishing honey hole on the lake. If you love the outdoors Birch Lodge is the jewel of Canada. Our cabin was clean and comfortable, less than 100 feet from the lake. Dianne the co owner made sure our cabin was pristine and all appliances working. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be returning every year. Owners Dianne & Klaus are outgoing people and charming hosts.

What an AMAZING PLACE! If you have never seen this part of northern Ontario...YOU MUST have Klaus SHOW YOU. I have NEVER seen such beauty in all my life! & his cabins are beautiful too. THANK YOU for the great memories!

WOW....best vacation of my life. Never have I seen such A place,I felt like I was on A different planet.The granite plateau's,NUMEROUS waterfalls,lakes,streams & rivers are one of the most spectacular sights I have ever seen.Bring your camera & LOTS of memory for it. This place Made the Muskoka's look like Toronto. Nice bright,clean well kept cottages were A delight for winding down after the day's ride.Absolutely one for the bucket list! Thanks for the memories Klaus & Dianne, We WILL BE BACK!

This was my third visit to Birch Lodge. It gets better and better everytime. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Beautiful accommodation, excellent riding through every type of terrain imaginable. 300km in two days. Klause doesn't mess around. Highly recommend this place for quiet, laid back relaxation and amazing trail rides!!

Cabins were very nice as well as clean. Klaus and Diane were great hosts. Our group particularly enjoyed the ATV trips that Klaus took us on. Excellent scenic ride as well as for those that wanted to play in the mud....got mud!

Our 4 day, 3 night stay at Birch Lodge was too short! Great hosts, unbelievable ATV trails and great cabins. Set your expectations high, you won't be dissapointed!

My wife and I had our Honeymoon at Birch Lodge in September 2017. What an excellent holiday. Dianne and Klauss went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and fun. From bon fires to atv rides....we had a great time. The accommodation was perfect and comfortable. Very spacious and clean. Everything we needed was included in our cabin which made the trip that much easier travelling from afar. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for nice peace and quiet, enjoys beautiful scenery, atv adventure, the lake and the cozy comfort of small town charm.
