We purchased a new pool pump this summer when our pump gave up. We chose the Variable Pump Supermax/Superfloalm. Yes it was more expensive but the money we already saved in electricity in just 1/2 a season was well worth the investment. Also the pump is so quiet compared to our old regular pump. We can control the speed of the pump vs. the time of day which is fantastic for cost/sound. We have not regretted making the investment. Paul Desmarais the represented we saw at the Trevi Dorval was very knowledgeable and definitely helped us with this decision. Now we will be going back to get the filter system he recommended as our old filter just made it to the end of this season.

I don’t write reviews very often, good or bad but thought I had to write this one. We ordered a hot tub from Trevi back in June. After leaving a deposit to get a delivery date we were told it would only be delivered on October 11th. Under the circumstances with COVID we said fine. October came, no news so I phoned and was told I must pay in full to get the install date so I did. Hours after payment I received an email saying they were back ordered by 4 weeks, 4 weeks later, after many calls and messages we were finally told they have no news and no delivery date in the near future. I was told I could cancel if I don’t want to wait. I did exactly that, called Club Piscine and had a beautiful Jacuzzi hot tub delivered THE NEXT MORNING.

Went in to purchase a solar cover roller. Told that the one i wanted was not at this store and they will get it from another store by the next day. Took my information and did not hear from them. After 3 days, I dropped by to ask about it and the fellow at the counter couldn't have cared any less. Got roller from elsewhere. Chemical tests are fine, but the accessories department is lacking in simple courtesy. Have no desire to shop there again.

we bought water cleaning robot Hayward for $799 plus tax. we tried at home .it was doing nothing,not cleaning dust or anything. we went back in the store after 8 days ,they said they could not take it back and they will check that why its not working well. we left robot there but they did not call us after 15 days. finally they called after 16 days and said they changed motor in the robot but nothing working. we spent almost 1000 dollars for that garbage. every store has return policy but they are selling defected things and no return policy,very very bad. we suggest not to buy anything from this store .they are selling cheap things at high price. I do not want to give any star to them.

Most probably one of the worst company I've ever had to deal with , bought a pool last year by the end of the season liner was full of folds had to call them for service about 10 times for them to finally come over and make the problem even worse , called them again and they advised me to call back next year. This year called them approximately a douzen times for them to finally show up and do nothing called them again ten times for them to come and tell me that folds are from this year and they need to reevaluate again!!! They do not take responsibility and do not fix the issue , still waiting for them to send someone else!!!! Why can't you just replace the liner it would've cost you so much less than sending team after team to evaluate. Terrible service , stay away!!!!

I bough a spa at the Montreal store, sales person was very knowledgeable. We're able to match and better spas prices and extras offered by their main competitors. There was a small mistake when it came to the financing that was agreed but the director was very reasonable and help to resolve the issue with a solution that was satisfactory.

Amazing service during the this covid time. I was at the dorval store waiting for a sale person for in-ground pool and the director came over to help us and refer me to Kevin. A few days later I needed to present my self to trevi to provide some ID for the loan and there was a big line up outside. I called Kevin and was able to get me inside the store without waiting for a 2 minute thing. Thank you

Revised rating from 5-stars. Would give NO stars if that was possible. Buying the above-ground pool was a breeze. Nice financing options too. They delivered the pool on a skid and told us they'd call within 48 hours with an appointment for installation. That was 7 days ago. Phone calls & emails all ignored. The sales rep finally replied, but he's powerless to do anything. Of course, now we're finding out that everyone we know who's dealt with Trevi has had the same experience: Terrible after-sales support. Fortunately we held off on buying a spa until September. We'll be buying THAT elsewhere. Avoid at all costs.

Stay away and find someone else Worst experience, spent ton of money to buy a new in ground pool, work started early April and still not finished , end of May. I have been waiting from last 3 weeks to get the pool started. Last two appointment no one showed up and the guy came yesterday and left after 5 minutes and said will comeback. I waited for 4 hours for the guy This is highly unprofessional. I have paid everything in advance and now I’m at the hook and merci of Trevi. If Trevi’s guys don’t show up on appointment then they should come next day but I get pushed back to the line Not acceptable

I purchased a thermopump pool heater HP50BEE for my 15ft X 24ft above ground oval pool from Fred Sanon and Paul Desmarais both were knowledgeably on all products. Once purchased the delivery date was respected and installation was ahead of schedule. Will definitely continue to do business with TREVI... highly recommend...

We visited this Trevi store in November 2020 and was greeted by Serge Domingue. He was extremely knowledgable and professional. He explained everything we needed to know and more about in-ground swimming pools giving us confidence that the investment we would make would make our backyard into an everlasting spring/summer playground for our family. Given the lockdowns and confinements of the 2020 summer, we wanted to ensure that we would be able to enjoy our new pool and backyard in early 2021. There were issues and delays that typify any large project, but Trevi delivered. Construction started in April 2021 and by June 1st we were able to swim. This is thanks to Serge's above and beyond after sales dedication to our project. The Trevi pool is a great product that we are still enjoying mid-September. I strongly recommend that anyone considering an inground or above-ground pool consult with Serge. He is honest, no-BS, and someone who you can confide in to help you through the choices and options that will transform your garden into a mini-vacation spot!

Store employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Post-sales support is non-existent. I purchased a gazebo and it fell apart. It was still under warranty; however Trevi failed to fix it. Communication with the support staff took months. Sometimes it would take them 2 months to respond to an email.

It was first time buying chemicals at Trevi Dorval, my pool guy warned me to not go Trevi because of the customer service. It was closeby to my work and I needed a sample of pool water tested - Should be easy...However, after a couple minutes (not long) I was met with guy who seemed pleasant at first but was then swearing while attempting to test the sample water. He then started proceeded to start chatting with his colleague who was on his phone. Not sure if you receive more service if you actually purchased the required chemicals at the location. However, the though of giving them business is not pleasant. I was originally recommended to visit Club Piscine which I am inclined to follow going forward.

Our experience with Trevi has been abysmal, starting from the installation of our pool where the contractor started his job by insulting us and yelling and then overcharged us 200$ for one wheelbarrow worth of sand to two years later where we've had to replace basically every plastic equipment of the Ozonator they upselled to us. Now (blaming COVID) they aren't even capable of keeping their stock and force customers to drive 2hours to pick up a 4$ piece of plastic offering no reasonnable solution (shipping, in store transfer anyone?). For a 7k$ pool I wouldve expected better.

I have not had a bad experience until today.I purchased a robot pool cleaner the Falcon. I purchased the cleaner on sale 21 June for 299.00 plus taxes. I tried the cleaner the 22 June. I wasn't satisfied with the product. It was cheaply made and I kept turning off taking out of pool and redirecting the flow valves. I had to do this many times because it was not moving around the pool. After two hours of frustration I took the cleaner out of pool rinsed and dried off. I was gone for long weekend and returned the unit today. I was told that I couldn't return the unit. The man I talked to I had seen many times at the back in the repair department. He told me he had sold hundreds of these units and never had a complaint. He then told me he could only give me a store credit and not a refund. I do not understand why I was not given a refund. I tried the product for an hour only and returned it in pristine condition. I am terribly disappointed!!!!!

One of the worst customer experience ever. I ordered a small plastic connector for my heat pump back in May and I haven`t received it 4 months later. Not for a lack of trying as I met with the store manager, Anthony Kresevic, in person couple times, left numerous messages and even reached out to Clément Hudon, their President. It is unfortunate that "one of the best managed company" in Canada is holding their customer hostage for a $10 part. Customer service is in the details and Trévi has clearly failed !!!

I purchased a Hayward Heat Pump for my above ground 24' pool pool from the Pointe Claire Store and was served by Paul Desmarais. He was very knowledgeable about the product line and assisted me with my decision as to the appropriate model, as well followup questions once installed. I do not regret this decision at all, I love keeping my pool around 85 degrees, it makes you want to swim all the time :-) Thanks again Paul.

We purchased an inground pool a few months ago but before we signed I stated that I was not interested in waiting months to get it installed. The salesman said that we were lucky and that someone just cancelled and we were going to get our pool installed the week of April 28th . I realize the weather has not been ideal but here we are May 24 th , and no one is returning our calls , we ordered extra cement and the salesman was supposed to get back to me on payment online once he finished his annotation ... whatever that is , sent several emails. Left messages ... no response . All we want is an approximate timeline so we can plan for landscapers once pool is installed. We have a bunch of materials on the side of the house and a Trevi sign on our lawn and no one is calling me back... A company that cared about customers would reach out or at least respond and say something like “we have been a little delayed because of weather but we want you to know that you are the next install and we foresee in the next week “ or something along those lines.. And it is very sad but the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing over there .. The designer, does not speak to salesman , the salesman does not know what is going on with excavation team .... I could go on and on... I will continue to post , hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but so far not impressed . We are looking forward to a Happy Ending!!! Will keep all posted Updating my experience to date update 05/24: Last week we did not hear back from Trevi Apparently their email has been down since 05/15 . But we left several voicemail to Salesman for update of status and next steps : No response . My husband Went to Trevi Dorval and spoke to manager and he apologized for delays and stated that it would occur following week. Update 05/27 Monday : Received call from Excavator at 6:15 pm that they would arrive the next day for Excavation . They requested a homeowner be there during excavation . We agreed , however the weather report shied rain for that day and we were previously told excavations could not occur during rain, it we were happy to see some movement . Update 05/28 This date is 1 month later than promised start date but we were happy that it was actually happening . When the excavation crew arrived they stated that they were getting stuck because of rain and mud, so they told us it would cost 550$ to drop rocks on the property to continue , if we did not aggree, to this , they would leave and could not guarantee another date, we really had no choice , we were stuck... I then called Trevi head office and also Dorval to only listen to adds for the better part of an hour , finally a young woman answered and relayed my messages to an unknown person, I would ask a question and she would seek the answer from the person for the better part of 20 minutes , finally I asked if I could speak directly to her supervisor and she said he was busy. I was upset at having to pay that high amount without having known this would be a possibility upfront ?? I wanted to know if their would be another charge to remove the stone... could not get an answer. Finally she told me her Manager would call me back. He called 10 minutes later , I explained that I was not happy to pay that Kind of money for rocks and that should have been stated upfront . I asked if there would be a charge to get rid of them since the contract states all debris from installation will be removed . He stated he would get back to me. We are now in wait mode for the verdict ... We now have no idea still when installation will occur and waiting to hear back on Rock removal ...I will post more info tomorrow on status. The costs are rising for this pool...l The reason I keep posting is that a new or potential customer should be aware of what the unexpected costs, timeline and response times are for issues . I will keep you posted on my experience as it evolves. At the end , I will share overall experience ***** May 29th **** Will create a new post as the character limit exceeded

Water testing done electronically. Staff knows what they are talking about. They don't push chemicals and stick to essentials for pool maintenance. Staff for installations takes time to discuss options.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Absolutely THE WORST COMPANY TOP TO BOTTOM a customer or human being can ever ask for. I dont even know where to begin!! The only time anyone in this company EVER called me back was to get my $$$ or sign for BANK contract. Then to schedule Delivery as TREVI gets their $$ from bank once delivered!!! All they do is LIE / invent stories/ etc etc.. 50,000 dollars spent and this is the service offered?? Im going as far as consulting LAWYER as everything they told me is documented,recorded etc.. They use their no interest offer as a scheme to sign up as many clients possible then BLAME THE WEATHER, Busted titres, human error, wrong phone numbers, HACKED EMAIL SERVER#@&$ Ive heard it all.. THIS is 2019 not 1970 where no information can be shared. I have never written a google review but felt i had to in order to SAVE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO IS THINKING OF getting a pool from TREVI.. LIARS, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, most useless unprofessional STORE MANAGER i have EVER come across. Sales man looked me in the eyes "SWORE TO ME" my 2 little girls would be swimming in the pool before the last day of school in order to sell me the pool. Today he confirms he said this BUT it's the first time he BREAKS A PROMISE THIS YEAR??? and it only happened twice in 2017?? Wow now thats a man of his word.. Left MANAGER 7 voicemails, sent 4 emails YET NOTHING not ONE CALL in return!! Calles head office on 17 different occasions and can i tell you every single time different story and like robots" blame excavation".. I was delivered on May 6th at 4:35 PM when i was promised 10:00am??? i took the morning off for delivery yet when i called at 2:pm to ask where they were i was told they were in TRAFFIC(but google maps and WAYS) exist in 2019!!! When i said WAYS tells me 21 min to destination they said oops the truck has a FLAT TIRE! WHen driver arrived they laughed and said what flat tire!! Im glad wasting a day is a laughing matter. They confirmed DIGGING on MAY 21st with install 2-3 days latter... ? No one ever showed up, i called oops delay confirmed may 27th, etc etc.. last week they CONFIRMED JUNE 4th.. Now here is the PUNCH line to the JOKE which is TREVI service and scheme.. When they did not show up they told me the LAND INSPECTOR NEVER WENT therefore DIGGING could not have been scheduled??? That the original date of MAY 21st was something UNKNOWN??? WHAT!!??? Today June 5th once again waste 2 hours of my day to try and get an answer they tell me the land inspector will try and go before the weekend, even though she supposedly went MAY 8th?? ATLEAST TAKE THE TIME TO CALL YOUR CUSTOMER AND GIVE THEM THE COURTESY OF EXPLAINING THINGS; weather, tires, lost files, vacations, HACKED emails(YES THEY USED THIS EXCUSE).. etc etc.. You guys should be ashamed. I will assure you i will do everything in my POWER and spend whatever it takes to ensure NO OTHER FAMILY or single parent with 2 little ones goes through this HORROR STORY.. and wait so far it's only been delivered NO digging, installation , service, NOTHING.. ONLY THEY HAVE MY $$$$$$$.. I must not be alone in this province to be @#&&$^@ by TREVI!! I would like to see if TREVI STAFF OR the Company can answer this ir deny anything as i have every single interaction documented and recorded! My children have nowhere to play as they delivered their S&#^ over 30 days ago and my garage is full, along with my driveway, the backyard has the fence taken down since MAY 6th (more S&%$) all this because of a worthless company and team who do not know how to treat their customers. We just bought a complete Patio Dining Set for 8 and 10' x 10' Parasol from the Pointe-Claire store. Mégan was helpful and gave us a great price and made sure that we were happy. She even got the warehouse to deliver within 48 hours for us! Great job!

Your final destination for anything swimming pool related in the west island. There are other stores though with less expensive products. At Trevi, they have professional experise and consultation services. The staff are also kind and nice.

WORST experience. The staff are happy to sell you products but they do not disclose important information (e.g., the many things that are not included in your purchase) and their after-sale service is ABYSMAL. No one answers the phone, there are interminable delays, the communication within the company is poor and the products are substandard. In my experience, pieces were installed incorrectly and others were delivered incomplete. A nightmare to deal with!

Do not let them fool you. Be careful, do not trust them with their installation date. Do not let them deliver all parts in advance because if you get tired of their delay you can't do anything and also you can't use your backyard for many weeks or months. Here is my story: Their salesperson put up a show to make me sign the contract on May 22nd, he told me he talked to his manager and they have had a cancellation and if I sign the contract on the same day that spot would be mine so I rushed to sign it but when he printed the contract it was a different date “BEGINNING OF WORK SCHEDULED FOR THE WEEK OF 2017/06/25” when I said it is not the right date he said do not worry that is the latest.but I told him no I want it on 15th he told me he would put a note so they would install it faster. After waiting for five weeks, Now I got an email that they have 2 week delay on the facilities. it means the week of 2017/07/15.almost two months from signing the contract. So I went to store to talk to the manager. she wasn't nice at all, I was complaining about how they tricked me to sign the contract to have my pool on June 15 and I am not happy and I am considering canceling the contract.basically, she said "it is what it is. She said you have to pay a lot to cancel the contract, 1- you have to pay for delivery ( that is another trick, basically they deliver everything to your backyard in a few days after you sign the contract so you have no choice to wait for them to install it whenever they want) 2- you have to may penalty to cancel the financing 3- you have to pay for the salesman's time (who lied to me and tricked me to sign the contract) She did not apologize for what their salesperson did and lied to me and tricked me she just threatened me that I have to pay a lot and I have no choice now. I am not happy at all. I do not recommend them at all.

After searching through brochures, we had finely decided on the Pool we wanted. Visited the Dorval location and found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Pierre sat with us and explained the difference between the Trevi Pools and others that are available. He took his time with and made us feel extremely comfortable and at ease with our choice. We purchased the Pulsar and cannot wait for delivery.

DON"T BUY A POOL FROM TREVI. While they have nice pools and the sales guy Serge is awesome, TREVI has the WORSE customer service. No one responds in a timely manner - i called on Sep 1 to have the technician come and fix the pool liner as there are rocks underneath and we are Nov 4 and still no one has come! 1 MONTH after making a call for an apt. Your project Mgr also doesn't respond in a timely manner. I would give 0 stars as i've never dealt with such incompetent people. No one can give you an answer.

Good selection of products and modern (automated) water testing for free. Downside of this type of testing is that the person testing soemtomes losses the feel or intuition about the underlying cause. Some items are slight more pricy than other stores, but only marginally and you can get everything in one place.

No one answers the call. I left the voice message several times but no one ever calls us back, even though I have the direct number of responsible that I got when we placed the order. So I have to go to shop directly each time to confirm the order or ask one simple question for the placed order. They change the schedule without proper consent. I was so stressed so I tried to cancel, and director started shouting at me and started blaming me. I’ve never seen such a rude personality in service business. One day I just wanted to buy sand weight for the pool step, and asked to multiple employees in the shop, no one was interested or at least answer me. Just shrug their shoulders and that’s it. At least they can say ” no we don’t have it”. Don’t they speak language? Even the pool opening staff was very rude. I don’t know if he was a employee or a contractor but I would never use pool opening service again. It’s difficult because there aren’t many shops available for pool equipment and services. so there are times that I still have to come here even with all the unpleasant experiences. But definitely I wouldn’t make any big purchase here because just imagining what I will go through with their customer service makes me stressed already.

Installation was before the promised date and the the pool is perfect for are needs we added a heat pump and could not be happier. When I called to get more infomration after a purchase of an above ground pool the manager YANNICK MAJOT threatened my husband that he would replay the audio and video. AFTER THREE WEEKS of trying to get a detailed billing about what I was paying for the sale represenative told me to walk around the store and get the prices myself. I will be filling a complaint higher up. NO FAMILY SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS AGAIN!!!!

I always trusted Trevi, but lately their service have been awful. after agreeing on a contract with them to fix my pool they just never showed up to do their job. Finally, after weeks of making me wait I called them to see what happened, they just simply told me "we forgot". unless you are looking to buy spare parts DO NOT GO THERE. Club Piscine FROM NOW ON. My family has become not a fan of Trevi. They are not service oriented nor are they helpful or proactive. We had two technicians come to see our pool that had a ripped liner and a slighly sloped wall (above ground pool) and we kept waiting for a response to know next steps. Now we are mid July and still no pool that is functional. It will be fixed by first week of August now. However, we obtained service from Fred-Érick Sanon (Dorval Store), in the new parts department and he listened to our challenges, and took charge of the file. He was able to call us back with a plan of action and I felt he was extremely pro-active and did a great job of doing his best to help our situation. We sincerely thank him for his service and we will use him as our point of contact from now on.

the worst customer service I have ever seen ever in my life , and the first time to be insulted by someone they took 500 $ as down payment ,, the plan was for 22.000 $ then after coming to my place they discovered that it needs more work to be done so they increased the estimation up to almost 39.000 $ , which was a lot for me when asking to get refunded , the answer is NOOO we can't work already has been done , when I told the MANAGER of the store it never happened to me with any other company , he told me in a very rude way ' I don't know how they work ' and when I told him simply they have better deals with their sub contractors , imagine what the his response ,' you are being rude now ' can anyone imagine that . a manger of a big store like Trevi dorval is telling his client you are being rude .!!!!!!!! I have never got this answer in my life , and for sure I am not going there again , nothing against trevi , but the sales person I dealed with and for sure his manager lack the sense of customer service and for sure his manager don't respect his clients . and guess what I didn't have my money back and the answer ' don't worry it's gonna be in your file when ever you decide to go on with your project ' Which will never happened with this branch anyway . so if you are planning to go shopping their , keep in mind that the estimation is not free and the manager of the store is lacking experience dealing with clients I won't go there again and I hope whoever read my comment and want to do such a project with trevi , to visit any other branch , cause impossible it will be as bad as this one

If you are reading this and thinking of installing a pool DO NOT CHOOSE TRÉVI. You will regret it and you will spending thousands of dollars to get the worst service, whether customer service or during the installation process. We made the biggest mistake of our lives 2 years ago by choosing their services for a brand new unground pool that we still haven’t had the chance to enjoy fully without a problem occurring. At first, came the end of the season to close the pool, to our surprise the installers forgot to install the backwash.. took pictures and a complain to the store before they sent someone to fix this major mistake, because customer service didn’t believe us. This year we still haven’t had the chance to swim in our pool. The pump and filter clearly have a problem as the water does not circulate in the pool, we do the treatments, test the water, clean the filter, water becomes green the next day because there is no circulation of the water happening. When we call they make you feel like an idiot that doesn’t know how to use the products. Still nothing has been fixed and you ask for a technician to come and check the problem they will never send one. Avoid yourself a big headache and save your money find another company. This has been the worst nightmare, and a lawsuit is waiting to happen.

TREVI DOES NOT HAVE ANY TECHNICIANS FOR EQUIPMENT THAT THEY INSTALLED ONTO YOUR POOL AND WILL ASK YOU TO DISMANTLE IT YOURSELF AND BRING IT IN STORE!! BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PURCHASE!!! We bought our pool with a Hayward Aquatrol Low Salt Chlorine Generator. Pool was opened in end of May. Chemical readings were good until the water turned cloudy a week later. Brand new salt system was not producing any chlorine. We called the service department, we were transferred 7 times. They DID NOT see a salt system in our contract so we had to email them the contract for the salt system. They told us that they are transferring the info to the sales rep. We went to Trevi Dorval and advised them about the issue with the salt system. Spoke with a service agent. He was MEGA stressed and annoyed. He ignored the problem about the salt system and asked us to test our water. They tried selling us 8 different chemical products. We asked for a technician to come inspect the salt system at our home as it may be defective. We’re under warranty!! They did not acknowledge the main issue and continued to push the products. Spoke with the store manager. He told us they have NO TECHNICIANS and asked us to dismantle the salt system that THEY installed and bring it in store. We’re under warranty so it’s obvious they don’t want to pay for a technician. We checked our contract and we purchased an Aquatrol low salt system that reads 1200 to 1800 ppm but the motherboard itself is the model that reads 2700 to 3400 ppm. They basically put the panel door of the low salt system that we purchased onto a cheaper model. See pictures of my panel and model that was installed. Trevi is strong on sales but aftermarket is terrible.

Stay away from the Dorval store, better yet stay away from Trevi altogether. When you have a problem they will not come to your rescue. You will have to fight and get frustrated in order to get any results. (That's my customer experience!). After being given the runaround by making numerous calls, and leaving messages, from one dept to another the manager never called back i luckily reached her by chance, to my dismay she tried to pass the buck and didn't accept responsibility. Her demeanor was condescending and rude, she didn't acknowledge our concerns, and kept cutting me off when i tried explaining the problem. (Why is she manager there in first place)? Now i am not one to complain but my level of dissatisfaction was so high i felt i had to write this review. Event: Purchased a pool heat pump worth $4,500 from the Dorval store. They were quick to take my money however the set delivery date was not respected on 3 different occasions. Wasted our days waiting for them, cancelled going to work for Trevi, they didn't even acknowledge or care. Requested some sort of compensation for my wasted time and they came up with a story that they will deliver the heat pump and install it same day instead of two separate days. I accepted that answer but Guess what, again a no show, another wasted day! Finally on the 3rd occasion they came through, by then i was prepared to cancel whole order. The store and delivery dept don't seem to communicate with each other and when i called the delivery dept. (which i shouldn't have to ) they said we weren't scheduled for delivery while my contract clearly stipulated the delivery date in black and white. Also take note their return guidelines are very ambiguous, that's a red flag in off itself. My bad for not picking up on that. After this experience of frustration, wasted energy and delays i can say that Trevi is not worthy of my business. Funniest thing is that they claim to be among-st Canada's Best managed companies. Beware don't be fooled.

Just purchased a patio set a couple of weeks ago. When purchasing accessories at the store today, I saw that the same set was now $1,000 lower than when I bought it ! Yeah, you read it right, $1,000 !!! Not just a couple hundreds... Since I was purchasing othert stuff, I tried to get a discount on those accessories as a gesture of goodwill to keep me as a happy customer. I was not expecting to get the full thousand back, just an effort to keep me happy. Unfortunately, the salesman could not do anything, and I understand that. I tried to talk to Mathieu Bellavance, the manager of the store. What an arrogant guy ! He did not let me say a word. When I told him that he was not listening, he just ran away in his office leaving me there without further explanation. I never saw an attitude like that from a store manager. Running away won't solve the problem. I am very unhappy now that they did not even try to make an effort to keep me happy. I am very satisfied with the product but unfortunately, cannot accept such a bad service. Their promotions start on Thursdays, be sure to know which one will be next or you could end up paying way too much for your products. And once they made the sale, good luck to negotiate with them ! All they care about is making sales, not making customers happy. This may work for a while, but it will catch you at some point... I am going back there on Thursday to get another product I ordered, let's see if they can show sign or good faith at that time. I will keep you posted on my experience.

But Trevi was impossible to communicate with, everything was late, we were misinformed about pretty much everything, received no guidance and I can go on and on. I had to get my brand new pool moved by 10ft. within my own yard due to a city permit issue. I was distraught and it cost a fortune but at least, the young man at Trevi, Fred-Erick, was absolutely wonderful and reassuring. He took my request very professionally and even attempted to make me feel better about the mishap. My experience with Trevi in the past was not good. Because of him - his personality, knowledge, professionalism and kindness, I was able to swallow the pill! I called to thank him after the pool was re-installed and again, he was lovely. While my experiences have not been as horrible as the other posters, I have to admit that dealing with Trevi is not easy. To sum it up, they are just not "available". The people at the store, over the telephone, internet, etc. etc. It is just plain difficult to get any sort of inquiry or question answered. Avoid TREVI it like hell for big ticket items. Here is my experience on an item (pool heat pump) that costs over 6,000$. First, the salesman never explained to me that I would have to put a 220 V outlet. My previous heat pump did not require one. The cost because of how far the electric box was reached 2500$. At installation time, TREVI removed the old one but would not take it w=away: I had to arrange for this! Since I had an old pump, the base had tilted over the years and I could not adjust it before the removal of the old pump. They did not give me time to adjust and installed the new one "tilted". I could not believe it and begged them to adjust it: to no avail. I then called the Manager of TREVI (Mme Viviane Moreau) and here is what she said to me verbatim. I had to make her repeat it twice, as I could not believe my ears: "Le client est responsable de signifier son insatisfaction, après l'installation"!! She absolutely refused that the 2 workers spend any time leveling the heat pump. I later on brought a person to level it, as the pipes were short and stiff and I risked to break them. It took him 5 minutes and he did not charge me. Will I ever buy anything from TREVI? No way. Beware, go somewhere else. I myself run a small high-tech corporation and if I ran it like Trevi, I would have been bankrupt by now.

To begin I am a business owner and value service and product quality. In truth, I would have gave a 1 star review for many of the problems, misleading information and lack of transparency with product availability and product warranty (not mention all my frustration, wasted time & energy) However, there is one man that turn things around. In my personal and professional opinion Alain D. saved the day by actually caring and work hard to make the difference. He understands customer care and value. He went above and beyond to get the job done when his head office and other managers buried their heads in the sand and love to use the Covid Convient excuses. I can’t express my gratitude enough for Alain’s dedication to get my brand new Trevis pool (and other services) up and running so my kids can enjoy the summer. I hope management values him and I recommend they do what is necessary to keep him in their business -because without him the Dorval Trevis branch (in my opinion) would be a sinking ship. Installation is weeks late and they can’t tell you when you are going to get it. Been telling me “for sure this week” for weeks. Can’t even tell me where we are in the cue and am losing large part of my summer. Very disappointed. I purchased it May 4th and here I am July 5th with no pool and no clue when. Don’t let them trick you into thinking you’ll get it at a certain time, they are just trying to book as many sales as possible even if they don’t have the capacity to install them all.

Just came back from Tevi Dorval and purchased a Parasol and the experience was flawless. I showed up as soon as the store opened and all their staff had not shown up yet but Yohana helped me and she was fantastic. I can’t remember the last time I had such a positive experience at a store. She answered all my questions , took her time and demo’ed everything to me. Most negative reviews seem to be based on after market sales so I’ll be sure to update my reviews once I receive the product by delivery and if I encounter any problems.

Horrible!!! All they care about is to sale you their pool!!!( not the cheapest) Signed expecting great service but that was not the case. After you signed the contract they don't care about you. I purchased a spa in summer 2018. At the time I was told there is a 3 year warranty... I have had several issues and in the past the service department has been competent and repaired the spa... Now with the Warranty expiring end of July 2021, I called the service department for a service call to verify the condition of the spa and they flatly refused to come by... I offered to pay for the service call which I understandably don't expect Trevi to pay for but after speaking to 2 different people one of which claimed to be a manager she said they do not offer a verification service even though I agreed to pay for the technician's time... Dynasty spa company, which manufactures spas for Trevi recommends a technician verify the unit after 3 years... Trevi does not service their spas unless they are broken, according to them as long as there is water coming out of the jets everything is fine... I'm not impressed.

He has served me a few times and he does not just read you the water test sheet, he gives you advice, will ask questions to see how he can resolve the issue, and even under that mask you can tell he is smiling. . This is dishonest and unresponsable company after sale. They are not warranty their service and they will find a thousand ways to make you pay their problem services after sale. First, Here is my story. I nerver had the spa before, it was my dream to have one. I bought the Spa Panama at Trevi, last two years. they delivered the spa to my house and dump it there without any explainantion and setup initial. I have to go to the SPA course weekend , the course was only showed the products to maintenance, in fact they are focused to sale their maintenance kits, nothing link to spa, instruction and menu of spa etc. From the start, I remarked my spa the jet is nerver strong at the spa I saw in the demo rooms and other places like Club Piscine. Must be something not normal about the Pomp or design manufacturer. Never Mind, I want to enjoy my New Spa. I always did my maintenance and change the filter at recommended. This year, suddendly, the second Pomp, was stop working, I mean Pomp is not pomping no water going out from the jets, like have chocked issue with the pomp. I heard the noise the pomp is trying to pomping but no water out from the jets of the second pomp. So I went to the store, the rep. sale said to me, that is good you can call the service and you are warranty until 3 years with the pomp. 2019-july-18, The techncian came to my house late, 1st, he had the problem this and that from the previous customer, problem with his back, etc.. so I help him to open the plastic cover the spa, he was trying to take out the plug and re-put the plug, and he was trying antoher thing, he was playing with the 2nd pomp. but still not working, at the end he have to open the plumber near the 2nd pomp, then he put back, then he said their was a lot of gabagge that why the pomp was blocking. then I asked him, where was the gabagge, he didn't shown me, he said he dropped away, then I asked where, because I was all the time stick to him. I want to take a picture. He can't show me. He was intented to invent the story to charge me with his superior in other phone line. Wowes, the story now is just start, at the end he want me to give him 40$ cash, than he will arrange with his boss about the bill at this service will be warranty, but I don't have cash with me then he called back his boss, than he asked the credit card? No way, I will give me my credit card... so I asked him to send the bill 40$. the techncian left my place without close the cover, I have to close the covers plastics and all the things by myself. Suddently, yesterday, 2019-7-23, I received an email from Mme Coral St-Pierre, the bill 170$ for the service not warranty, one hour travel and one hour service because my pomp of Spa have not maintenance and a lot of Gabagge. 2019-July-24, I called the Trevi company and told to the responsible Madame Jessy Morin, partition responsable, and she beleived her supervisor and her techcian. she said if i don't paid in 48hours they will send to collection and my spa will not be warranty anymore.... I'm very regret to buy my SPA at the Trevi, they are not honnor their warranty and have the dishonest personel to work for them to against you when you are calling for the services after sale.

I had an excellent experience with Trevi Dorval. I have requested an online quote to change my in ground pool liner. I got a call the second day from Mr. Fred, an excellent professional communicator and very pleasant person. We signed a contract including the finance package. I was scheduled to have my liner changed by June 20th, however, I got a call from Trevi almost one month earlier, I.e., May 24th and was advised that the crew is coming next day to change the liner. The job was done efficiently without any problems all according to the specifications. I would strongly recommend Trevi without hesitation. Thank you Fred for the best summer surprise ????

BUY YOUR POOL ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Don't be fooled by the high rating! Most of the positive reviews are for small, in-store items (patio set, heater, water testing etc). We bought a semi-inground pool and it has been an absolute nightmare. Once you sign the contract you're stuck and they just stop caring. Wrong parts delivered, despite numerous corrections and promises [EDIT: When they shipped an incorrect part, despite many calls and emails, we refused to sign for it, which pissed off the delivery guy. After more calls, they did finally ship the right part 2 weeks later. Unfortunately, they didn't know how to install it]. Trevi sub-contracts out each part of the job (excavation, sand delivery, concrete delivery, installation, "Specialty" installation), and it is quite obvious they simply go with the lowest bidder. Terrible work with lots of mistakes. One worker was mad because my back gate was closed when they arrived unannounced and unscheduled. He said the sand was going to be delivered Monday (it was now Thursday) and we better leave the gate open, because if the sand delivery guy sees the gate closed, he's just going to drive away. WHAT?? We have a dog, and we can't leave the gate open for FOUR DAYS! Plus, IT'S THE LAW - you can't just leave a construction site unenclosed! The liner is already peeling back from the sides and it was installed 2 weeks ago. We ordered a high-powered swim jet (like an "endless pool") and that required specialty installation. Well, the so-called specialists installed the plumbing upside down!!! The pipes are supposed to run undergroud because they are heavy and need to be supported. But instead they are sticking up 2 feet above ground! You can clearly see from the instuction manual that this is upside down. These are huge 4" pipes, and once the water runs through at high speed they'll weigh about 100lbs. And now they're sticking up out of the ground, unsupported. This issue has NOT been corrected. Now I will get a reply from The Marketing Team asking me to call them, likely to offer me a discount on pool supplies to make up for all this trouble. STAY AWAY FROM TREVI, PLEASE!!! THEY ARE AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL.

Ordered a replacement liner for our in ground pool late FEBRUARY 2016. The salesman told us that we were the 4th on their list of liners to be installed this season. Contract was signed and the salesman guaranteed installation of the liner by May 7th. A technician came by April 24th to inspect the pool. Well May 7th came & went and still we had not received any word by TREVI about the delay nor any reason why they did not honor the installation date as it was written on our contract. We finally called Trevi on the 18th of May only to find out that they did not have the measurements and they needed to send someone to measure the pool. They said that it would take about 2 - 3 weeks until installation could be done. We lodged a loud complaint and they finally had the liner installed 1 month later than originally promised. We are still waiting for the pool lights to be installed!!!! NEED A LINER???? Try any where else!

***To update the situation...I wrote to the email provided, it's been over a week with no response. The head office has suspended our guarantee because of an outstanding balance ( not even sure yet if that is even legal?) and now the filter no longer works, we have cracks in the deck, missing pool equipment and I could go on and on. No follow up and zero customer service. And the response we get is we did everything to our satisfaction, followed by threats of legal action and so on. Now we have to contact another pool company in order to repair the job that Trévi has left us with. They will not send someone because we are in litigation and I was told quote: "Sa pourrait-être très long". Upon verification with La protection du consommateur we are not the only one's in this situation. So all and all its an awful terrible situation! Awful customer service, the projet has been an absolute nightmare. Purchased an in ground pool last year and as of today it no longer works. Our deck has cracks, we were overcharged and are missing equipment that was never delivered. Zero follow up despite numerous attempts to fix the problems. The project manager's solution is to gaslight us and ignore most of the issues. Like I said, absolute nightmare! A Zero rating would be in order however the site won't allow it.

Terrible experience trying to do a simple refund. Originally paid accord d but then changed to regular credit card payment since accord d rate wasn’t great. Trying to get the accord d refunded has been complicated to say the least. Store clerks could not fix on the spot. 2 days later had to go back into store- Trevi needed photocopies of my credit card and driver’s license to confirm my identity...sales person implying it was some kind of credit card scam...quite offensive. Why would someone pay twice for a item if it was a scam?!? Company needs way too much personal information to keep on file for a refund of something I’ve already paid for. Customer service extremely lacking - I just spent 5k there on a pool heater and robot. Was looking at re-doing my pool liner but will look for another supplier after this much hassle with such a simple issue. Don’t want to deal with the drama. To top it off, their “top of the line” pool robot we were sold is garbage. Wish me luck getting that sorted out- Not happy!

Many problems like roots and broken Equipment were surmounted by sure determination Overall I rate them off the scale. Plus + 5 Made the process look easy and quite enjoyable far from the stress I felt the night before. As a matter of fact they came up with a game plan in a matter of seconds upon seing the yard and the many roots by our Maple tree. By mounting the pool rather than digging it in. Which is great for me, I'll have better control of my pavers and the look of the finished land scape. In coming weeks I plan to modify the installation a bit by adding a shed for the filter and pump. Remove some of the visible on the ground flexible piping and replace it with underground Pvc Pipe to the shed wire dig a trench for wiring 120 and 220 volts . Add more pavers Change the garden lay out. Much much fun And enjoy my grand kids and many family and friends by God's grace. Still needed to get it off my chest. In 2012, I bought an above ground pool their. Everything was fine until the end of installation. An employee asked me to pay 40$ as additional installation fees. The levelling of the ground was grater than what the contract included. I was surprised of that and asked to send me an invoice. They suggested me to go to the ABM and they would follow me their. I disagree and insisted to send me an invoice. The guy got upset and said to me that if I don't pay him now he will disconnect everything so I won't be able to use my pool. I finally went to the ABM very frustrated. I paid them cash and Never Got an invoice for that. I called my sale representative and he totally disagreed with the contractor behavior and will report this event to the president. After couple days without any feedbacks, I decided to call the head office. The lady that I spoked to said that the contractor was met. She told me that the contractor said that I didn't want to pay them. For Trévi, it was my word against his. I paid them cash 5000$ prior to installation. Why in the world someone would come up with a story like this and still feel mistreated after all those years? They had all the legal options to have me pay. Total bullshit. She also told me it was a third party contractor of theirs. I remember that during the sales pitch I was told proudly that Trévi have their own installers and don't use third party contractors like their competitors.

TAKING MY MONEY WITHOUT PURCHASE!!! We had originally purchased furniture that was set to be delivered a certain day ( JULY). By august we had yet to receive this product and I cancelled the order entirely. We had previous been set to have the "no payments for three months" program. November 28th FINANCEIT started taking my payments, but I never fulfilled the original order, and cancelled it promptly during the summer. I immediately asked the financing company to cancel the payments, but they advised that I had to do this through TREVI. I have tried to reach out to customer service who said they will do some research and get back to me. This was a week ago. I've called numerous times and no one is helping me resolve this issue. I understand this was probably a small oversight but if this unauthorized payments gets taken again, I will have to escalate this issue further. Hoping this review prompts someone to finally return my calls.

Attention please !!! If you go to the store for first time you should look around for their private return policy. Or you will lose your money. I bought some items for closing swimming pool. After I found they are expensive and I went back to return and was treated rudely . They told me all chemicals couldn’t be returned. After I went to Reno depot and was told I can return the closing swimming pool kit Without open it. I mean this is Canada. Almost every store can return things except this store.

We bought our hot tub, hot tub gazebo and pool from Trevi few years ago , so we need to go there once in a while to buy some parts or chemical materials , although we always have problem with customer service but this time was terrible! Few days ago I went there to find and buy a part of our pool , there were 5 or 6 young teenager as employee around and an old man who is a permanent employee( he always is at the section of part and chemical with a very moody face) , non of them were interested to help . They even didn't know how to help and it seemed that I was disturbing them! When I saw their carelessness for helping me , I became upset and wanted to talk to the manager. The old man, heard my complaint and instead helping me, shouted at me to leave the store and never return ! The manager, or director, who had heard his noise, came out from his office and instead solving the problem, stood up to support him. I do not know what position this old man has in the store but it allows him to talk to the customer so rudely and even the manager is listening to him, but this treatment of the customer and such service, will have no other result than bankruptcy . I have been their customer for about ten years.

The worse service ever. They installed out pool and one day the pump hose came lose so our yard was flooded with water. Everytime we call we get attitude and it takes several calls and transfers before anyone can help. Pools don't come cheap and if something goes wrong it should be handled with care. They get their money and don't care for their clients. Worst store ever, this is specific to the one in Dorval. Go to any other store, even the people in there have no idea what they are selling.

Last weekend I contacted your parts department due to a leak in the top of my Hayward Clorine Feeder. I brought the cover along to investigate. It proved to be a problem with one of the slip washers which was cracked. The person at the counter could not provide a simple replacement washer and insisted my only option was to purchase a kit including the cap screw which I did not need for a totally unreasonable cost of $25.99 plus tax. I asked him to open the package and sell me the replacement slip washer on its own but he refused claiming he would not be able to sell the cap screw. I expressed my outrage to your representative explaining that this was not the first time I had a problem with the feeder. In early June the screw of the cover split which I was hoping to replace. Your representative at the time insisted that I must have left the feeder outdoors all winter but I explained this was not the case. On this occasion the only option was to purchase the entire cap kit which cost over $40 plus tax, just to have the replacement screw. Interestingly enough the screw and slip washer combination was never offered to me at that time which would have been more than a $15 savings. In addition I had to replace the o-ring which too has a ridiculous price tag. The entire feeder cost me $85.99 back in the fall of 2012. I believe for the realistic cost of the slip washer you are really taking advantage of me as a client. Considering that I have spent thousands of dollars over the last few years for pumps, filters, cleaners etc I find this is poor customer service. Checking on the internet it seems many people have problems with this chlorine feeder, that I am not the only one reporting cracked screws and washers so it would seem appropriate that all of these parts should be available from Hayward. I believe your representative should have sold me the washer even if it meant risking not selling the screw to another client. Simply a small price for Trevi to pay to keep a customer satisfied. Horrible service when it comes to repairs. I bought a Pentair electric 140k BTU heatpump in may 2018 and on May 4th, I realized it’s not working. Called and they referred me to another company for repair. After many back and forth with that company, they forgot about me. We’re the 23rd now and I’m now at the bottom of their list and have to wait at least another 2 weeks to get the repair done. Trevi says it’s not their problem and to figure it out with the other company’s. So basically, I gave them 5-6k$ for a heatpump, about 2k for a water pump, about 300$/year in pool chemicals but I get no help whatsoever when I have a problem with a machine still under warranty. Thanks a lot!

The Hayward heat pumps are garbage, even they say they often have problems..buy the heater at another location if you can. Horrible experience at this place. Last summer we signed contract to buy in ground pool and were told that we can cancel the order anytime before delivery . We cancelled the contract before three weeks from delivery but they refused to return our deposit of 500$. The manager misbehaved and started shouting in front of people. We never got our 500 $ back. My experience at the Dorval Trevi location - you be the judge. We sat down with their salesperson, Alexandre, to get a quote for an in-ground pool. Once all the bells and whistles were chosen, we were told that a $2000 deposit would "reserve" our spot in the schedule for mid-June (and of course we were warned that spots were filling up quickly). I explained that there were some unknowns about the property that we would need to confirm (septic system, municipal bylaws, permits, etc) and he assured us that the deposit would be refunded if the permit was not issued by the city. Within six days we found out that in fact the pool could not be built in the spot we had planned due to the septic system and immediately alerted Alexandre by email to ensure it was noted in writing that we would not be able to obtain the city permit and expected our deposit to be refunded, as promised. No answer to a subsequent email and voice message the following day. We drove to the Dorval store and went directly to the Manager on site, Matthieu, who was unempathetic, explaining that we “signed a contract” and no refund would be possible even after we told him that we were assured by his salesperson that the deposit would be refunded if the city would not issue the permit. We were stunned by his position. We pushed further, and he claimed he needed to speak to the salesperson himself but was leaving in an hour and that the salesperson was “busy” so he wouldn’t be able to interrupt him before he had to leave. We felt clearly that he simply wanted to get rid of us. A few hours later the salesperson, Alexandre calls to say that it would not be possible to get a refund on the deposit without the official refusal from the city. We explained that we would not file for a permit KNOWING THAT WE WOULD NOT BE APPROVED. He was immovable. I insisted that Matthieu or another store manager contact me to discuss. Considering the magnitude of these purchases, I am stunned by their shortsightedness and lack of integrity: they would rather keep the $2000, lose a client for life (and maybe more as we plan to tell everyone we know about this experience) than honor their word and possibly do business together again in the future with us and everyone we would tell the otherwise positive story to. Let's see how Trevi responds to a challenge on their business ethics and integrity. Stay tuned for how it all ends. UPDATE: I have persevered and was directed to Mr Stephan Cloutier (Trevi Head Office) however he did not return my many voice messages. Since then I have been bounced around Head Office ("Jessica") and was finally told again by Mathieu (Trevi Dorval) that the deposit would not be refunded - they insist that the pool can be installed elsewhere on the property!! With all do respect to Trevi's designer, I am fully aware of my property and will not be bullied into spending over $50,000 on a pool unless it is in the proper location, not behind the garage, out of sight of the main living area and/or along a public pathway. Trevi is failing to follow through on their promise to reimburse my deposit - I will continue to draw attention to this breach of trust and bullying tactics until I receive the $2,000 that I am owed.

Few years ago we wanted to change the rubber inside of our overground pool. Trevi suggested they could send professional team to have a look and give us evaluation of what the job will be and change the inside surface. We were at work and our 17 year old son was home for this visit. Contractors were late, once they arrived and entered the back yard, they saw the pool, commented that this was a piece of garbage (in quebecois) and left in less than 10 minutes. When my son told me what happened, I called Trevi and ask them about the visit. I was told our pool is too old and needs a replacement ????. The truth is, the pool outside aluminum sheets paint is peeling off, but the pool is strong and has 15 holding poles, that makes it very strong structure. My boyfriend went and picked the rubber inside, already preordered for $200 and change it with the help of his cousin. The pool looked like new, we are still using it to this date. Trevi did not want to reimburse the 100 something dollar visit and they did not apologise, just said these are contractors, this was not Trevi fault, ha ha. So I do not trust this business ????

Buy your pool anywhere else! They promised unrealistic timelines and didn't do things they said they would and that are written in the contract! The workers were crass and vulgar during installation and left garbage all over our property including cigarette butts and packs. Very few people speak English when you call and you just get dumped from person to person. They will tell you anything to get you to sign and then laugh at you as walk out the door because they just swindled another sucker! I complained all the way up to the presidents office to no avail. The pool is nice but wasn't worth the stress, hassle, frustration, etc. I repeat BUY YOUR POOL ANYWHERE ELSE!

Today I just stopped by to see what promo were available on the Thermopump pool heaters. The older gentleman who works in that department happen to walk in same time as me . It was his day off and he was just passing to see how it was going. It was the first weekend that the stores reopened. I thought he was working and asked him a technical question. He answered everything I need to know on HIS DAY OFF WOW. I decided to purchase the Pentair 140 ultra. He reminded me he was off and would see if he could officially help me purchase it. By the time he spoke to his boss and got back the employee on duty was available to serve me. I asked the gentleman if I could finalize the purchase with him and his response was I would in good hands with Fred Erik. Yet the other gentleman, I apologize did not get his name went behind the counter to help his colleague seeing there was now a long lineup. That gentleman knows the true meaning of customer service, teamwork and is a true gentleman. Fred Erick finalized my transaction quickly and answered the balance of questions. I left with the thought wondering if they are paid on commission. If so I would feel very bad seeing I was going in to see the other gentleman all last year get information on the Pentair. He was always patient with my questions. Either way these two are fantastic. Great job to both gentlemen. I can not wait to jump in my pool this summer.

I would not recommend to ever buy a pool from trevi. There sales people will tell you anything just to make a sale. After sales service, there is no service, its very bad. I had to fight with them just to get a replacement for a defective peace. Biggest mistake we did was buying a Trevi above gound pool from the Dorval location.

Poor quality products and non-existent after-purchase service. I purchased an outdoor sectional with a coffee table and a dining table with chairs less than a month ago, with a significant price tag. I’ve had multiples quality issues with the table; the table surface was damaged after one use. I called the sales person who directed me to send an email to trevi.ca. No response. After calling them, they referred me back to the store manager who also doesn’t respond. Now I have a new issue with the sectional seat cushions that are damaged after less than a month’s use. These products are not at all adequate for outdoor use, they are easily damaged by outside elements. Would not buy from Trevi again.

Have been long time client at Trevi and finally had enough of poor product quality, long response times/inaction, and getting the short end of the deal. Latest issue was the last straw… I purchased higher quality 11mm solar cover only to discover a defect in the cover. Returned immediately and requested a refund however Trevi only offering store credit which I did not want. Expecting refund as I will purchase product elsewhere as I do not trust Trevi products any longer. This is another case to add to long list of Trevi purchase issues. Still waiting for resolution on 1+ year old issue where Trevi pool robot gets jammed on drain after Trevi replaced my pool liner/drain…. no solution or action by Trevi for incomparable products. Just excuses, delays, no solution; anybody want a useless robot? Requested replacement bulb for fiber optic lighting system which I was upsold as a premium lighting system when purchased in-ground pool only to be told that parts are discontinued and would need to spend thousands to redo light system! I used to LOVE Trevi spa supplies and service. Everything was clearly marked and prices very competitive. But lately they decided to change suppliers and now their products are called Balance 100, Balance 200, Balance 300 etc for Alca+, PH+, Calcium, etc. The problem is that my spa TEST strips still talk in the "old, standard" language and unless you can read the very fine print and have a tolerance for mistakes, this change will leave you bewildered and frustrated. Furthermore there are no charts or indications by or on the shelves what is what. Normally we need Alca+, PH- and Calcium plus in our arsenal. Ok so Alca+ is Balance 100, oh but WAIT, Balance 200 is NOT PH- it is PH+ (be careful!). They have ANOTHER named product called "LO and GO" which is really PH-. Oh and before the products ranged from $4.99 to 8.99 for a kg...and now they are all "conveniently" at $8.99 (and no refunds if you buy the wrong one or have to empty and refill your spa because you just just poured in a cupful of Calcium plus when what you wanted was Alca+. Is this an industry change? No, its a Trevi change as everyone else STILL calls it Alca+, PH-, Calcium+ etc. A great store in concept but sorry, I am going to be buying my spa supplies elsewhere now.

THEY OVERBOOK AND DO NOT HONOR THEIR INSTALLATION DATES! The pre-sale experience for heater, pump and liner was a mess to say the least. We went in with a model number for a pump we had researched and another pump was put on our contract( make sure you read your contract carefully all the model codes so no surprises). As for the heater, when we went back to confirm our liner colour, we were told by a different Trevi advisor that it was way too big(BTUs) for our size pool. If we hadn’t gone back we would have spent hundreds of $ in electrician costs to upgrade setup for this unnecessary heater. They should look at training their advisors better. Now they are late on their scheduled installation and after multiple calls they can’t even give me a date as to when it will be installed; that is when they actually answer the phone because they do not return the messages you leave(3 times). I decided to stop in at the Trevi store to see if the the sales manager could help, he said they were overbooked and when he called the installation department they could not give him a date either . He kept repeating that he understood how I felt but there was nothing he could do. .... The way I feel is...if Trevi overbooked they should be responsible for missing their install date, period! Montréal has had amazing weather without any rain... no reason to be behind. I expected a decent service from Trevi, boy was I mistaken. DO NOT BELIEVE THE INSTALL DATES THEY GIVE YOU ***I will update my review on the quality and installation of the product once everything is installed.

This year started off horribly with a pool that would not clear up. Sounds like a simple problem but week after week, countless water tests and hundreds after hundreds of $$ thrown at the problem, nothing worked. Granted it's a very large pool but something had to give. Anthony stepped up and took care of me like the professional he is. Baby steps to evaluate then no-nonsense action afterwards to get it going. it took about 12-15 days of trial and error but he and his department were there with conscientious evaluations and follow-up calls and emails. Had they not been there, I would have probably given up on the pool for this year. Thank you very much for all your help and perseverance.

DO NOT BUY A POOL HERE. Absolute worst service once you pay. I had a pool installed in July. Had in closed by another company in October and it still does not work. The salt system did not work from the beginning. They were suppose to come out and fix it. After 4 appointments I have yet to see them (which I heated the pool and missed work once). They blamed it on the weather when 2 of the days it was nice plus my system is INSIDE my shed. One of the times they lied and said they came to check and was missing a piece. The hot tub still has not arrived and we received no phone call explaining the delay. We had questions about a spa we wanted to purchase and the salesperson was there to answer our questions, not push us into the purchase. He also informed us about the promotions, promotions we were unaware of and that helped to make our decision to buy. The more pressure we feel to make a purchase, the less we are inclined to buy. As well, it was nice that we felt that there were enough salespeople around so that you did not have to go looking all around the store for someone to help you, but that there were salespeople available (but not waiting to pounce) when you needed them.

Do NOT buy a spa from Trévi. Save your money, time and the hassle and stay away from this company. We purchased a spa which arrived 6 weeks after the promised delivery date. The spa worked well for 6 days and then a pipe burst while my son was using the spa. The entire spa was drained in less than 15 minutes. We kept calling Trévi service line but no answer. This happened at 3:30 pm on a Friday right before Christmas holidays. I had to run to the store and the manager told me to go buy a heater and put it inside the spa and wait for the service team to schedule a visit. Long story short, we owned this piece of “art” for 3 weeks now, the service guys showed up 3 times and we still have numerous issues including low pressure on some of the jets and some broken jets. The Trévi app that supposed to give full control of the spa from our cellphone never works. Well, I should say, it works once out of 20 times I try opening the app. The initial set up of the spa was also awful. Lots of items were missing and we had to run to the store a few times. One of the missing items was the device that connects the spa to the wifi. Keep in mind that we didn’t buy the entry level spa. We spent about 10k$ on it and we only used it for 6 days. Just stay away from Trévi.

Continued from Prior post on my experience May 30 th -- Continued Posting of my experience with Inground Pool - Charged 550$ to drop rocks on Property as the Excavation team was getting stuck in Mud. Loged a complaint with Management as we were not aware that we would have to pay extra if the trucks had issues , I am still waiting of answer from Trevi Dorval management to confirm their will be no additional charge to remove the massive amount of rocks on the property. Was told they would get back to me wether the got the information or not , to confirm they were following up.. no response yet. Have changed the number of stars to 2 so far *** May 31st Things are moving along now pretty quickly , but i received a call on Friday stating that i needed to pay $603 for rocks. I was quite surprised as my contract stated no payment until 3 months after delivery of materials. Once I stated that after having to call them back , the girl looked at my contract and said she made a mistake... Full review of my experience once pool is complete. Trevi also confirmed that there will be no charge for Rock cleanup.

The helpful staff offered a good price and arranged delivery. We later decided to pick it up ourselves directly from the Laval warehouse. Trevi reimbursed us for the delivery charges by mail within a week. On the May long weekend, they had a sale with the same set $300 less. I talked with a DDO manager and he looked at the flyer and WITHOUT HESITATION, told me that he would refund us the $300 difference and the taxes. 10 days later, we got the check in the mail. Watch out for unethical business practices. I shopped in April , insisted on choosing items in stock to avoid any COVID complications. Spent 5K on sofas , they insisted I pay it all in advance to ensure they reserve for me. I paid it in full on my credit card. They call me the day before delivery to tell me they can’t find it. They basically sold it to someone else , I told them I paid it in advance to reserve it, they said sorry. They offered me a 200$ gift card (4%). I cancelled my order , they told me they could not refund my credit card , but the head office would send me a check. That’s when playing phone tag began , today Sept 7 , 5 months after the original purchase, I got my check. This company is the modern day equivalent of the used car lot, they will say anything to get your cash then you deal with the problems. I bought my stuff at club piscine instead , it was easy and I got what I was promised.

Horrible customer service. Not just during covid but over the two years I've owned my spa. If I had to do it again I wouldn't have bough from trevi. They sell pricey chemicals, can't answer basic questions when you call. The store staff is new every summer. They also only have 3 stores in all of Montreal. The only good thing they have is free water test, but that's just to upsell products. Save your money, go to club piscine or another company.

I have a problem with my brand new pump... called numerous times.. was told every time that someone in charge will call back... its been a week and no answer... After sale service is not happening considering the amount you spend buying a pool... I guess customer service is not their priority... certainly a very frustrating experience... too bad that this kind of attitude forces the customers to take the legal route.. I just don't get it what is so difficult in calling back someone in a timely manner. all this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Where to begin? Trevi is maybe the worst company, in terms of service, I have ever dealt with. They make promises they don't keep to get the sale, and then reneg on those promises. I have a yard full of unearthed rocks they originally said they would take away as part of the sale. When I contacted them, however, I was told a different story - that that only applied to inground and semi-inground pools and since mine was only an above-ground pool, they wouldn't offer this service. Besides rocks, the installation team also left empty coffee cups, cardboard boxes, parts and instructions strewn about the yard. And I'm not finished. Last year, in order to get my sale, they said that if I had any trouble obtaining a pernit from the city for the poll that I was not obliged to go through with the sale. Well, I did indeed have trouble with the city, but was told that they would NOT cancel the sale because they had already delivered the pool parts. It was never mentioned to me in advance that delivery of the pool would make their original promise nul and void. In fact,"Manager of the Year" Bellavance had the gall to tell me that he had no intention of losing any money to provide customer service and, sinceTrevi already had my money that he had me over a barrel. He also threatened to charge me extra for visits that the installation team had previously made. And the fun continues. This year, after the installation team abruptly left, leaving me wondering what the next steps would be to finally see my pool working, I contacted them and was told to contact an electrician to connect the pump and heater, and to call the store to enrol myself in a pool opening course. Of course, when I called got voicemail. I left a message requesting information about enroling in a course. That was at the beginning of the week. It's now the weekend and, surprise surprise, no one has gotten back to me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU DESERVE MUCH BETTER.

Went into the store for a quote for a inbound pool liner for next year, thinking it was to late for this year , but Paul gave us a few great options. Surprisingly enough, we are able to get a new liner installed for mid October at a great price and service. Recommend going into the store for a visit and a quote, you will be surprised.

Once they make the sale it is impossible to get any customer service in store. Careful when you sign the contracts they have a non-cancellation policy! As soon as you sign they change their tone. 1 star only because I cant give none. What a mess! The salesman was good but that's about it. After we bought and paid for our pool, everything went south. There were mistakes on the contract that it took dozens of attempts to correct and even then, the wrong parts were delivered. Took over a week to get the correct parts shipped and got zero communication from salesman, customers service or the delivery team, Installation appointments were missed AND other workers showed up unannounced without appointments. The installation was rushed and done wrong. French drain is completely non functional and most of the screws holding the wood together are stripped to the point where I can now just pull pieces off by hand. Multiple teams were sent to my home for the various steps of the installation, excavation, concrete work and plumbing. I didn't see a single person that cared at all if their job was well done. Their excavation and concrete teams destroyed our driveway by driving heavily loaded dump trucks, and cement trucks over the driveway and into the back yard instead of using a cement pumping truck and smaller equipment like loaders. Every time a team left, there was garbage EVERYWHERE. Cigarette butts, coke cans, coffee cups, construction debris, packageing... all left out in the rain along with new parts, instruction manuals, etc. Just a total disaster. To the point where my $28000 pool is still not fully installed, 2 months later. When customer service called to schedule the final work, I told them I don't want to see any Trevi workers in my yard ever again. Her response was simply " OK, Merci" and a hangup. No questions or concerns...just OK. I have to assume they hear that so often that it doesn't even phase them anymore. Now I have to hire a different company to complete the installation in the spring but at least I'll know it's done right. Lesson learned. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH TREVI!

Very good sales experience , once you signed you are trapped , my, pool is installed with missing parts , including the ladder ( I was not informed before installation ) , basically it is not functional , customer service on voice message, not caring .Final mote , the pool is half filled because of the missing items , pumps cannot work . and according to their CS email I have to wait another week , during this week water will be contaminated . very disappointing !

I bought a low salt system and was given a regular salt system for my new pool installation. It doesn’t work and test everyone at trevi doesn’t wanna help me they hang up on you or leave you hanging. They just wanna sell young products and I even had a manager laugh at me. Prices are above average . Easy access off Trans Canada service road in Pointe-Claire . Good communication initially , but hard to get call backs after sale is made . Good lab for water testing with knowledgeable staff . Well stocked with most water care products but they do not carry some products that come with pool . This is very disappointing. Pools, spas and installations are of good quality , but sometimes difficult to get confirmations of deliveries or installation dates and times. Due to covid , masks are required and sanitizer is available at the door . Distancing and amount of customers in store are regulated.

The service is poor. When we called for closing of the spa the guys just came and emptied the spa and broke the filter cover which they never replaced. Recently I made a service call and after waiting for better part of the day, called to inquire and the women on the other end was rude . She told me the day is not over yet, so be patient .she told me you are home anyways so just wait. She also commented on my conversation that She overheard that I was having with my husband while we put on hold. I will not recommend anyone to buy a spa or pool at this location. Good service until they get the money.....afterwards they don't care about the problem we bring to their attention.....will never call for opening and closing of the spa...very expensive and they don't do good job. The same answer given to all with bad experience. " SORRY WE CAN NOT FIND YOU IN OUR DATABASE" ????good answer. X

My Pool heater broke or died or failed , however you want to say it. I visited Trevi to start the education process of purchasing a new heater. The sales man an older gentleman I cant remember his name assisted me by first pulling up my account to review what my needs would be. He immediately gave me 2 options ( a recommended option which handles my capacity , is a good unit with a great warranty the other is a more expensive unit which he felt was not any better than the first unit , maybe a touch quieter). They was no pressure to buy so I felt comfortable and pleased with what he told me now its a question of swallowing the sticker shock. Its not the best way but getting comparable quotes from another manufacturer for other models and finding out the price range is very similar its now a question of choice and preference. I ended up going with Trevi and a Pentair model which i have had luck with in the past. Because of the time of season the delivery which is one day and the instillation which would be another day they required 10-12 days. The others needed 7-10 days but i would rather wait for the one i wanted. The good news is the unit was delivered and installed in under 7 days and the installer was amazing, friendly , professional with a clean installation. The bad news it been so hot for the past 3 weeks I really have not had to use the heater. I have had less happily ending stories with Trevi as well but they fix the issue and you will come out happy in the long run.

Worst experience I have ever had and will absolutely never ever recommend or do business with these guys again. I bought my pool in May with the promise that it would be completed by mid July. Finally mid September it was pretty much completed. When I called my sales rep at one point on his cell phone because he gave me the number, he swore at me and hung up. Very satisfied with the product, with the follow up (pool classes and customer service), and with the water analysis and purchasing department. All around a great place to be. Note: during the installation, one part was defective but we didn't know until the pool was full. Took them no time at all and they were at my house to fix the part. So far, very satisfied!
