Hell of a time. Cheap pints as far as casinos go. $6-7 for a pint of the fabulous Yukon Brewing until 11pm and then they drop to $4. I'm not 100% sure those figures are accurate but it was a cheap outing by any stretch. There is a $3 minimum blackjack table and they cater to new gamblers. The shows are a must see. We caught all 3, both nights we were there.

Visited during 1974. Today's photos look very similar to how it looked in years past. There was no cover and blackjack minimum was 25 cents. I spent nine hours there and made a profit of $4.75 (I must have liked the place). Ahh, for the good old days, but much cheaper entertainment than a movie ticket, then or now.

45 mins line up to get in, 1 hour line up for food. One guy cooking the food and taking orders, dealing with the cash. Zero hygiene. My mind is blown by the complete lack of organization.

After having waited 3 hours the first night to visit an establishment which we as lifelong yukoners had been visiting for years previously, the second night we showed up over an hour to open in order to avoid a 3 hour wait to enter only to be informed after after an hour of waiting in line that we would not be allowed entrance due to having consumed a coors light in line. Something that was done the previous night by almost everyone in night in which they were littering in building in cans and they let them and all their friends enter the building ahead of us and nice older couple from the states. It’s pretty sad that they would do this. We’re extremely disappointed in the staff that control entry to this establishment. This place has fallen to all new lows of previous years.

We went to the 8:30 show. We got there at 7pm, when it opens, so we could get good seats. It's quite loud in there, but it's to be expected in this type of venue. The dancers put on a great show, and Gertie was very entertaining! I would highly recommend it!

The best gambling establishment North of sixty, actually, North of the Canadian border. You have to pay 15 bucks at the entrance, but you get three excellent shows and friendly staff at the gaming tables. Was there for a few hours of fun and gambling and enjoyed every minute of it.

An amazing must-see show for anyone visiting Dawson City! There are three different shows each night so try and make it there for the first show at 8:30 and stay till the last show which starts at midnight. The casino is a not-for-profit organization so anything you might lose at the $2 and $3 minimum tables goes right into the community!

This place was great! For the shows they put on here alone I'm giving 5 stars. You pay $15CAD cover charge that lasts for the year. The three shows they have are all different, but they are the same every night, but with different dancers and singers. I don't gamble so I can't attest to any of that. Food was inexpensive and nothing to rave about, but to be fair I just had a $9CAD chicken burger. It was good for the price. The other food might be better. Still a great place and definitely worth a visit.

This place was fun except for the cash only and they don’t ID upon entering when we went, and were in the 20’s. As they didn’t ID us and we entered , they ID’d us when we bought a drink, so my partner had to go back to the house to grab his ID, upon returning they said he was too drunk to enter. As he was fully capable of walking in a straight line, being able to able to answer everything they asked, as were out of town. The manager Vicky and Thomas both refused him for not only 1 night, but 2 nights when he did nothing wrong. We had also paid $15 for being out of town residents, which were not refunded. This place is ran very biased as they knew we were out of town. Terrible managers and a waste of a vacation to come here. Never coming again and mentioned to everyone who knew we went on vacation, never to come here, and if they did, not go to this bar, ever.

Food was good. We had the meatloaf dinner and lobster mac and cheese. You ordered and picked up your food at a counter. Cash only. Kitchen was tiny. I received the wrong side with my dinner but got it straightened out. Drink service on the mezzanine was very slow. There were 3 half-hour shows at 8:30, 10 and midnight. "Gertie" sang and emceed the gold-rush era dance numbers performed by 4 young women. Your ticket entitles you to all 3 shows, which are supposed to be different. We only went to the first. Good if you like to gamble. There are slot machines and table games. Hall is owned by a non-profit, so earnings go back into the community.

The night life in Dawson is just phenomenal. Diamond Tooth Gertie's is the place to check out! I visited in 2014 but for 5 $ you got a card which was your cover for the whole year. If you want to gamble all your money away this is a great spot. If you want to see a show this is a great place to do it also. All in all this place is a great spot and if your in Dawson allow a food hours of shenanigans to take place here.

You cannot miss a show with Gertie if you're in the Yukon. The band, and ladies were fantastic but Gertie was stunning. It was so fun, she had everyone laughing and singing along. The show was packed so get there early to get a seat. We didn't gamble, but you can they have slots and other table games, which looked like fun.

So apparently it’s ok for male staff to place their hands in female patrons who do not consent at Diamond Tooth Gerties. I was attempting to make my way to the bathroom in a crowded house and saw a path way. As I was stepping through I politely asked a male staff member if I could head that way. He placed his hands on my thigh and pushed me back saying absolutely not. I rerouted and headed to the bathroom. After the incident I returned to my friends and told them that he had placed his hands on me in an inappropriate fashion. He saw me pointing his way and gave me a smug smile and a wave. I told management what happened and their response was to victim blame me rather than say company policy does not include touching women. I explained that all he needed to do was say not to go that way and to point out a way I could go. But instead the manager again blamed me and said “we’re done here”. This was a gross abuse of male power gone unchecked by male management. If you are a woman I’d suggest finding a different venue to watch a show in Dawson City.

Fun place keeping it authentic. You get the old style shows they use to have back in the gold rush, really fun to watch! I heard someone complaining that it is not modern and should move with time, well I disagree, this is like a museum. The part I didn't care for was the casino part but I didn't have to care . Food was good and good choice of beers. Cash only and guys don't sit in front rows if you don't want to be picked to go on stage.

I'm pretty sure this is the oldest gambling hall in Canada. That's fitting, considering Dawson still has wooden 'sidewalks' in town (for real). The best part about this casino is that it's a charitable one, with little focus on gambling.

This is one of the best places ever. Click your mind back to the gold Rush and have the best time ever.. The gambling is low stakes (the profits go to Dawson City renovations and improvements, so not winning feels Noble and good). 3 shows per night. All different. Totally fun. Great drinks and drink service. The staff, dealers, performers, all awesome. And no TVs....perfect step back in time. And, when you leave..it's still daylight.

There is a $15.00 card to buy that is good for the duration of your visit. They have 3 shows per day in the summer, and are open on weekends during the winter. The performance that I saw tells a story about Dawson in its early days. Such incredible talent is behind the show! The performance is worth the trip :)
