Always enjoyed going to Ten Spa! One of the best places to spend time relaxing.
The cocoon experience was fabulous! A first for me.
I loved it! The whole experience was excellent thank you!
Little pricey but worth every penny. Just makes sure you show up well before your appointment so you have time to really take in the Ten Spa experience.
It's a nice place, very fancy but I still think it's not the best.
Lisa and Erin were amazing
The body massage was not too bad, little bit too pricey, the esthetician i had not too friendly. but nice place tho! Would recommend people should try once in a life time.
Quaint and relaxing, just what I want from a spa.
Absolutely the most uncomfortable experience of my life! My first "spa" experience will definitely be my last. They offer you very uncomfortable robes and footwear. The change rooms offer zero privacy for changing or showering. No part of a "relaxing experience" includes strangers exposed genitals in close proximity. You're expected to sit in an uncomfortably crowded waiting area with other robed strangers. Not relaxing in the least. I have no intention on ever going back.

Amazing experience
Such a dream. The pedicures here are pure bliss - big comfy blankets and utmost relaxation. The massage I had awhile ago was just okay.
I visited Ten Spa for my first time on April 24th for a 50 minute massage to celebrate my birthday while staying in the hotel. The spa is located on the tenth floor of the Fort Garry Hotel. I was welcomed by a friendly staff member when I walked in and provided with a basket for my shoes and socks and given a rope, towel, and sandals. I arrived early to enjoy the steam room and showers before my massage and also stayed afterwards. The changing rooms were clean and pretty! You are assigned a locker to put all of your belongings. The steam room had heated tiled benches and was cozy and relaxing. If you press the button beneath the steam vessel, the lights on the roof turn on and hot steam mists down from the ceiling. The sign outside the steam room said that there would be an aroma in the room, but I didn’t smell anything. Beside the steam room was the experiential shower. There was only one but thankfully, I was the only person in the area at the time so I didn’t have any issues with that. You could press a button for a lovely tropical rain scented mist and then use the shower at the same time for a beautiful experience. The regular showers inside the changing room were beautiful. They had pretty blue tiles and a glass cupboard inside the shower to hang your towel and robe. I loved the rain shower and there were shampoo and conditioner and shower gel inside to use. I enjoyed using the facial moisturizer and body lotion provided in the change room afterwards. My massage was lovely! I was taken to one of the treatment rooms which looked very sterile and felt almost clinical. I would have liked if it had a bit more of a cozy feel. My massage therapist was Lisa and she was great. She really worked a lot of knots out and used good pressure. There is a small bar area in the lounge where you can buy wine, beer, mimosas, snack platters and salads. I had a mimosa and it was delicious! There is free herbal tea, water and small snacks (cookies, muffins and dried fruit). I had a great experience at Ten Spa and will definitely return again. Would really love to try the Hamam!
The staff are all fantastic, massage was amazing (did the Head to Toe one) they would get five stars. I can only give it four stars because of the amenities which are only about a three. It's probably a product of being on the 10th floor of an ancient building, but the plumbing doesn't seem quite up to the task. Water temperature in the showers fluctuated randomly, which detracted from the experience. Also the bathrooms themselves are quite small and a bit uncomfortable, although they are well-stocked and impeccably clean. The hair straighteners all seemed to be in various states of disrepair. Personally I was quite disappointed with the steam room and the one "experiential shower" - their website mentions German design, but that set up was a far cry from even the mid-range spas in Germany. The main Lounge is comfortable and the snacks are a very nice touch, personally I would have liked it if they had some windows to let in natural light and give people a bit of a view. I'm glad I tried Ten as my masseuse was amazing, but I think I'm going to stick to thermea because their facilities are just so much nicer.
The whole experience is worth every penny. This was my first time and I went for the Cleopatra Milk and Oil Cocoon. What is also included in the price is a steam room, essential oil infused mist/cold shower, rain shower, lounge area with snacks, tea and water and a quiet room. The staff are polite and courteous. A great place to unwind and relax. I will be going back and highly recommend.
The Haman is one of my favorite treatments to get from here. Your treatment quality will depend on your therapist. If you run into a problem I don't believe their customer service is as well run as other establishments. I read a review where someone had an issue and that it was not resolved well. I can see that. In itself though, it's still a nice spa. I've had both great customer service and mediocre. With the pricing you expect exceptional. They seem to be doing some upgrading which is good as I feel they need to try a bit harder with the current competition in the city. they seem to be concentrating on their skin rx. Ten spa is located in the luxurious Fort Gary hotel. Parking is available on the street as well as in the hotel parking lot where you pay when you leave. You can get valet parking but that is much pricier.
I’ve had hammam and now I’ve had hammam. If you haven’t been here, then you need to try it. A perfect service from start to finish. Thank you for adding something extra to my stay at the Fort Garry.
Love the spa
Not worth your time or your money. I'm leaving the review based on my experience and on behalf of a few female friends who went there and, as they were explaining it, improperly treated by one of the male massage therapists. Sure the facilities are great, but if you're going to spend your hard earn cash, the last thing you want is a permanent distaste in your mouth after going to the Ten Spa. After contacting the management, they simply explained away the incident as if it was regular procedures and totally normal. I've been to the Thermea spa twice since and the facilities there are wonderful.
Very nice place to go to. A little confusing to get to but once there you'll be a very relaxed person
Bought my wife a $400 gift cert for Christmas. She waited until Spring (May) to use. Bad experience. Will not return. Staff are grouchy and unfriendly (except for Carrie, she was very nice). Change room is tiny and crowded, parking is impossible and far away. They should include valet parking with what they charge! Felt rushed and unwelcomed. No one did an orientation for her, or ask her if she had ever been there before. Felt pressure to finish and didn't get to do her hair or shower at the end. Services were adequate, but certainly not worth the premium price with the rest of the experience. At the end of the day when I came home from work she was not happy for the experience, in fact she was in a lousy mood because of the experience at Ten Spa! Thanks Ten Spa, $400 for nothing but grief.
Best experience ever! It was perfect every one was so nice and did such a great job!
We love Ten Spa. I've been 3 times for a Hamam treatment, and it is incredible every time. Highly recommend.
I have been a frequent patron of this spa for the past 5 years. I have always had a good experience in the past. I've been noticing the massage qaulity declining for the past 3 visits. Last time their customer service was also subpar. My RMT used cold oil and no hot towels at all. My massage was very poor and the issues I discussed with her were not addressed. This was my first time getting the rose oil massage(usually I get the custom); however, my mother who had the same massage received warm oil and hot towels. The disappointing issue is that after questioning if the massage does include those services, I was treated with ignorance steaming from the staff's lack of knowledge of the services. They were unsure and had to go and check. Their extreme disregard for the customer's concerns became apparent when I was impolitely handed a $10 coupon (which by the way can not be used during weekends) with no explanation before the staff turned around and started talking to someone else...So I have to come back and spend another $200 for bad massage during the week, just to get $10 off!!! Later, I filled out a survey in the email they gave me and nobody even responded to me!
Wonderful facial treatment, love the steam room. The experiential shower needs better labeling; I enjoyed the cool mist but did not expect the cold monsoon shower when the button was labeled the same? Otherwise lovely!
i was a frequent customer for years. i still love almost everything about it but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. had a not great interaction with the front desk clerk so i included it in the email survey they send out after your appointment. received an email back from customer service saying that that particular worker would never do anything like how i described. didn't really appreciate the insuation that i was a liar so i havent been back.
Mine and my bf’s experience was pretty good. Staff were great! Massages were good. But I believe it’s a bit more hyped up, expensive then what you get. There wasn’t much to do after our massages other then lounging for a bit, light snacks, steaming, computer generated shower (didn’t seem to work). Compared to Thermea I think there are some improvements needed. No sauna, no hydro pools??
You need to get a hamam. Just do it. It's worth it.
The Hamam is an absolute delight.
Great experience, but pricey
This was my second terrible experience at this spa. I won't be back. I booked a mani-pedi before my vacation, and took a bus across the city to the spa, only to be told they had no record of my appointment. Apparently, their online bookings are unreliable. Well, maybe you shouldn't offer online bookings then? Or have a note on your website warning people? The best they could do was a manicure only (no pedicure) three hours after my original appointment. I got a shrug and a completely unconcerned reaction from the receptionist. There was no apology, no effort to make things better, nothing. It was like she thought it was my fault I trusted their online booking system. Thanks for wasting my time, Ten Spa!
Awesome place to relax even if you are just waiting in lounge.
10/10
The Hamam is amazing, no doubt about it. If you haven't been, take you and the Mrs or the Mr. It is a spa treatment unlike one you've likely had if the Hamam is new to you. Warm and cool water massages on heated marble slabs. Arrive early to Ten Spa to enjoy the steam room and the experimental shower. Plus, they have light snacks and a food service while you lounge out and wait for the Hamam to begin. You'll leave feeling amazing.
We had a very good experience on our first visit to Intro Hamam, received a nice and professional service from Meiya (may spell the name wrong). The environment is very nice and cozy, a perfect place to relax during the holiday season.
Ten Spa is my favourite all-time great spa. Perched on the 10th floor of the historic Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg, this spa is a gem and a must visit in my opinion. I am a huge fan of the Turkish hamam, which is unlike anything else in Canada. The treatments are relaxing, beneficial to one's health, professionally provided and a unique way to salt exfoliate, stream, and get a very unique massage. I treated myself to the Hamam Fully Loaded and enjoyed every pampering moment. The post-hamam pedicure was a welcome treatment.I was wrapped in a comfy cotton robe, placed in a big-butt lounger, treated to a top notch calf and foot massage while I reclined and nodded off...I awoke to new toes with gorgeous colour! Ten Spa has spaces for talking and silence, as well as help yourself tea, snacks, and pay-for-it wine. I visit Ten Spa everytime I go to Winnipeg. Now that the Palm Room on mainfloor is renovated, I will treat myself to lunch or dinner after my Ten Spa experience! Can't wait to return.
Had a facial and the lamp fell and hit my lip. When I got home the charms on my necklace that had been put back on me were no longer there, just a bare chain. The ladies at the front desk weren’t overly welcoming however my esthetician was very friendly and kind.
BEST EXPERIENCE!! THE LADIES THERE ARE SO KIND, SHE KNEW IT WAS MY FIRST TIME, I WAS SO NERVOUS.. BUT THEY QUICKLY CALMED MY NERVES.. I will absolutely be going back, Ext time with less embarrassing moments ???? ???? ???? ????????♀️????????♀️????????♀️????????♀️????????♀️????????♀️

Very nice experience, there is free snacks too!
I go every 28 days for the $175 lymphatic facial with Nafisa. As somebody who is serious about skincare, I could not be happier with her expert work! With high standards and expectations, I was unsure of changing skin therapists after my long-term previous therapist had left Ten but, Nafisa quickly put any doubts that I had to rest. Her extractions are detailed and thorough (which does not mean painless, but if you care about your skin you know they are necessary) which I greatly appreciate. Being quality sensitive & not price sensitive, I know that I am in the best care here. Objectively; The front desk can be slightly chaotic, with waiting times to be greeted and to pay. The changes to the waiting area were not ideally suited to my personal tastes, as I prefer privacy and they removed the alcoves in an effort to open the space. With the removal of the alcoves, there has been an influx of noise and the "spa ambiance" that I am familiar with is essentially gone. Being there alone as a guy became a lot less comfortable with groups of 4 up to 10 women loudly talking/laughing. This being said, I do realize that the average person goes to the spa to celebrate a special occasion or as a 'treat' and not on a weekly schedule for routine maintenance. The change rooms are small with not much space to change and the bathroom has just one stall. The spa menu is a good short list of items and they are quite prompt with preparing it for their patrons. With that said, they have on multiple occasions accidentally brought my food to me in the busy/loud waiting room rather than the quiet room. Overall I have had years of good experiences here with many quality services! Everyone is human, nothing is perfect and from what I have encountered at many spas I am still happy to give them 5 stars.
First timer at this spa and I have been to other spa's in Manitoba but this one was the first time I ever experienced a "point with your finger tour" The front desk clerk did not walk me through the facilities. Just pointed in a direction that is where the washrooms are, that is where the steam room is, pointed where the showers were etc. The spa inside is really nice, but I felt so awkward trying to figure out the lockers myself and not given a proper tour of the place. I told my friend who recommended this spa is overrated, unless the woman at the front assumed I knew the drill. I went for a manicure and pedicure and at other professional spas that I have been to, they last close to the 10 days, this one lasted 3 DAYS! My friend suggested we come back together for a full package. We are all different with our nail health, but if I am doing my own nails at home using standard nail lacquer, then I would expect at a professional spa that it would also last the same amount of days. I am still phased from the finger tour.
The experience here is one of a kind. I cant wait until covid is over so I can return for the hamam
My friend and I visited ten Spa about month! We had an amazing experience and I'll definitely be back
Couples massage with my hubby
It was a great experience. I received a gift for a massage and didn't think it's going to be so good. The man was gentle and delicate. Professional attitude was everything!
Good atmosphere and knowledgeable staff of RMTs and attendants. Really took the edge off the stress of my first major business trip. Definitely will return.
A great place! The spa was beautiful, the techs were professional, and the food was great.
Friendly, clean, comfortable
First time here. We were greeted promptly and given a short tour, mostly finger pointing where to go. The girl spoke way too fast to understand most of it, but the place is easy enough to figure out on your own. The environment is really nice, as you'd expect at the Fort Garry. Everything is spotlessly clean and the staff do a great job of keeping it that way. Snacks were delicious. Lounge area could be quieter, we found it impossible to relax. Headphones would help. It was a little chilly too, warm blankets would be a nice touch. The massage service however was excellent, we both can't say enough good things about our RMTs. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
An amazing and well spent day. My girlfriends and I tried the Hammam experience for the first time and it was so relaxing and tranquil. I loved how we were able to sit in the lounge area and have a few snacks in between our various appointments. During our Hammam, we were treated with a little bit of history of how/where Hammam originated along with some Turkish Delight and tea. A must try and will definitely be back.
4/5! Suggestion. Try changing up the food. Been coming here 6 years and i'm getting sick of pita and humas....Try changing it up....Cant complain about anything else....perfect 10!
Great spa experience!
Omg can not wait to go back. So needed.
Gf took me to Ten Spa for the first time for our Anniversary. I really loved the Hamam here! Super relaxing. Everyone should do it for at least once.
Ask for Jill. Best.
Trying to get a hold of someone to talk to on the phone took hours, absolutely unreal.
We have been to lots of spas in our days all over the world. This is one of the best, by far. If only they had a co-ed steam besides the Hamam it would be perfect (for when you go with a differently-gendered partner).
My experience was excellent from start to finish. I booked my appt online for a Microderm Facial for early July 2014. When I arrived at Ten Spa, I was informed the microderm machine was not operating. Rather than re-book, I chose to have a deep detox facial instead. My technician was fantastic, well informed, explained the procedure step by step and also had a terrific personality. The results of the facial are fantastic. My hormones are changing causing adult acne... great! Since my facial, everything has settled... no breakouts whatsoever and it has been two weeks! The spa is beautiful. I booked my appt for a Monday morning rather than on a busy weekend. There are plenty of snacks and water available while waiting. Some people bring their own water bottles. Very modern and clean and every person I came into contact with was professional and seemed happy to be working. Following my facial, I relaxed in the quiet room for a bit and was pleasantly surprised with fruit and a pastry along with a glass of bubbly to compensate for the inconvenience of the down microderm machine. I will definitely book a microderm facial in the fall and will request the same technician again. Anyone suffering with acne, I would strongly suggest the Deep Detox Facial... great results!
I had a completely different experience than many of the reviews posted. I am staying at The Fort Garry Hotel this week and booked three different treatments on three different days. I booked them online 2 weeks before my arrival and received confirmation e-mails as well as reminder e-mails. I am on the 8th floor so a quick ride up to the 10th floor brought me to the spa, and I approached the front desk and was helped immediately. The girl checked me in and showed me around and helped me set up the locker combo. I arrived 30 min prior as suggested online so I was able to take advantage of the steam room and experiential shower. Everything was clean and neat, albeit my appointments were at 10am. There were many extra ammenities in the womans change room to help you freshen up after your services. All three employees I worked with were very kind, informative and concerned with my comfort. My pedicure was amazing, the facial was great and left my skin so soft, and my massage was incredibly relaxing. It is pricey but worth the occasional splurge. I will be back.
WOW I had a top-notch spa experience doing the fully loaded Hamam..I've never been so clean and refreshed.. The best part was feeling relaxed and not worrying about the outside world for over two hrs. I recommend this treatment to singles and couples. This authentic Turkish bath event was extraordinary and I will definitely be back. Thank you Ten Spa!
I absolutely LOVED this experience. I selected the middle level of Haman Turkish Bath. I was nervous at first because it's a hot steamy room for an hour and a half. (I usually can't stay in saunas for long). I was pleasantly surprised at how well I managed, and it was not uncomfortable in any way. This experience made me feel like I was being prepared for a sacred ritual. I respected the path, and welcomed the cleansing experience. You need to be comfortable with someone washing your body, and touching a lot. The warm marble is beautiful. I would fly to Winnipeg once per year just to experience this again. I couldn't take photos of the inside (for respect for everyone) but it was an atmosphere of culture and cleansing. It was awesome. It takes you somewhere else for sure. I better find out if BC has something like this. Lol It's on the tenth floor of the beautiful Fort Garry Hotel. They could use more generous, private change room area but otherwise the showers are all beautiful with name brand, quality plumbing such as Duravit. It's a bit tight in the ladies change area and they only have two toilets. We were in the change-room with a little group and it felt a bit crowded. Their snacks in the treatment waiting room are fantastic. I had some beautiful medjool dates, dried fruits, tea, hummus and pita, muffins etc etc. Really well done, and great quality. I do think that they could improve the cleansing room entrance/staff door, and also remember that when someone has been for the first time, and never knew anything like this existed - try your best to give them the best and most sacred time. Try to really keep in mind this is new and important to someone. My service provider was great. This was by far my best experience at a spa ever. I would love to try more of their treatments in my travels, and I'm used to the treatments at the grotto spa. I loved this experience.i would go back tomorrow, but I don't need to because my body is CLEAN! LOL
My favourite spa. I love going by myself or with friends. It's an excellent way to treat yourself. You can stay all day and help yourself to tea and snacks. I wish the robes were a bit softer however, and they recently switched from hand towels to paper napkins in the washrooms which seems a bit backwards to me. The "quiet room" should be a bit quieter. Still an excellent way to spend a day!
I have really enjoyed every time I've gone and all services have been excellent. Such a peaceful & relaxing environment. Love it! I can't wait to return soon!
Great place to hang out with friends and family. Relaxing and clean establishment. Great massage!
I tried the Intro to Hamam and a massage last week and had a great experience! The Hamam was a very unique experience. I would like to go back and try the Hamam 101 for the full experience. I booked a facial yesterday and enjoyed that treatment as well. After my treatments I stayed a while longer to relax in their quiet room, enjoyed a few light snacks and checked out their steam room. The facilities were nice and clean and staff were all very friendly from the front desk team, the cleaning staff and the service providers. They all added to a very relaxing and warm atmosphere. I highly recommend trying out their different services.
Relaxing environment with great facials.
The best pedicure in Winnipeg. Professional clean with great ambiance. Personally would like a longer massage. The pedicure is perfect & all of the dead skin and cracks have disappeared. My feet are soft and beautiful.
First time there today. Took my husband for a couples massage . For all the hype over ten spa and the expensive prices it's not that great. My husband has never been to a spa so he didn't know how anything works and they didn't give him a tour basically pointed to the bathrooms and said figure it out! Wow. For $200 massages they should have a staff male showing the guys how a spa works because a lot of them do not know. My massage was pretty good, his was not,, he told the girl to focus on his back and he said very little of the massage was on his back ,. I wouldn't go back for this price . And I was under the impression we could expierance everything together ! NOPE,. Steamrooms are only in the bathrooms so if u go as a couple you cannot share that experience like thermea .
I had a facial with Elmira and she was absolutely phenomenal! I would highly recommend her!!
Best spa treatment ever
The Hamam experience was excellent.
Fabulous as always! Had the 80min massage and custom facial with extractions...nice to have the steam room and other amenities back open!

Great place to relax on your own or with a partner. Don't be intimidated by Hamam it's a really unique experience
Always amazing.

Always love going to Ten Spa. Great services, snacks, and friendly staff. The extra spa amenities are lovely.
Amazing experience, try the Hamam!
Good experience. Decent lounge. Snacks amenities were alright. Massages were enjoyable and relaxing. Staff are great and professional except for just one member at the front desk. Overall it was a great way to spend an afternoon. We'll be back.
Best spa in town. I love the atmosphere. They have a great lounge where you can enjoy tasty and healthy snacks.
Very relaxing and calm! Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
Beautiful spa. Best place to go for most treatments. (Other than they offer a "dry pedicure"- which was new to me). I recommend always going early and taking advantage of the eucalyptus shower and sauna. Beautiful lounge and they offer wonderful treats included in price. Favorite place to go in Winnipeg!
Always an amazing experience. After 4 hours of reading, napping, snacking and being pampered, 4 hours feels like a week. The ultimate spoil yourself day!
First time I went, I called to make an appointment and they said they were booked up, and then my husband called immediately after and asked for the same time and they were able to book an appointment for him (for me). The massage was good, but it was expensive. The second time I went they made me wait for 40 minutes before calling me into the room for my massage. I was really bored waiting in the waiting room, but the massage was good. Today I went and brought my book with me assuming it would be a little late, but not really having any way of keeping track of time because you aren’t allowed to bring your phone or anything with you into the waiting room. I felt like I was there for a super long time, and I guess I was right. I have the front desk lady come up to me 2 HOURS after my appointment and say the massage therapist didn’t show up today and she was just realizing now that I was still waiting. It completely ruined my day. I didn’t even get the massage. And to top it off, there was no manager on duty to talk to so I essentially just sat in a room in a scratchy robe for 2 hours and then walked out, having wasted my day. I will never be going back again, and I will actively encourage everyone I know to book their spa treatments elsewhere.
Went for my first massage ever and had the Hamam 101 treatment. Such a unique experience. 100% would recommend.
L. was amazing! l left feeling so relaxed, and joyful!
Such an amazing relaxing day
I have done Facial, full body massage and intro to Hamam and it was all Top Notch! But the Hamam experience was unforgettable! I can't wait to experience it again soon! I love the change room with the amazing showers!!!!!
I LOVE Ten Spa. I've had most of their services and they're all amazing! I HIGHLY recommend their body scrub and wraps. And the hamam is so relaxing. I could spend hours here in the steam room and rain mist shower. They have little snacks that change throughout the day, cookies and dried fruit in the morning, pitas and hummus in the afternoon and rice with seaweed wraps in the evening. I especially love the cookies they have in the morning!
Just a soothing oasis full of great smells and knowledgeable people! The spa is so clean , the food is good and the music is so relaxing. Will be back for sure
Had a great time! Thoroughly enjoyed my pedicure. The steam room was a treat as well as the snacks
Pleasant, professional, and clean. Had two wonderful experiences with Marina on two separate occasions and would happily return for more the next time I am in Winnipeg.
Love this Spa... Always have a great experience
This review is more of a 3.5 star but Google doesn't offer that. It was my first time at the spa for the hydrating pedicure. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful, giving me a tour of the changing facility and making me feel very welcome. The change room was fairly small, luckily I was the first appointment of the day and was the only person there, but I could see it being not so relaxing later on in the day. The steam room was nice, although there was no scent or changing lights as described. The experiential shower was interesting, but there was only one. The showers have nice products from L'Occitane and there were plenty of towels. They do offer things such as hair styling products, combs, mouthwash etc but due to covid you have to ask for them at the front desk. The waiting lounge was fine. They offer water, decaf tea, and dried fruit and cookies. I would have liked to see blankets and uncovered windows for a nice city view. Unfortunately I didn't spend much time here because frankly, it was loud. There's people squeaking around in spa shoes, the front desk staff talking to clients and cleaning, and other patrons chatting. My service was great. The esthetician did a fantastic job and it was very relaxing. However, for the price I paid I expected a private room... I wasn't a fan of the communal pedicure room, simply because I had to listen to other patrons chatting with each other and their estheticians (I wish talking was discouraged...) and staff coming in and out. Definitely took me out of relaxation mode several times and there were only three of us being serviced. I can't imagine the noise that would come from a full room or bachelorette party. After the service I was offered to sit in the quiet lounge. Again, it was loud. There were only curtains, no doors so you heard everyone walking and chatting constantly. Why not install some doors? Overall, I had a nice time but there's definitely room to make the experience as luxurious as the prices. I would like to come back for the hamaam, but unsure if I'd come back for esthetics. There are other spas that offer very similar experiences for half the price.
Over priced and out dated.
Great RMTs, Friendly and very accommodating staff, very very clean relaxing place, been going here for years, no complaints yet!
Perfect hamam experience from start to finish, even though it was my first time. Welcoming staff took time to explain everything, making me feel comfortable, relaxed, and supported. And the space was so beautiful that it felt like a shame to close my eyes during the masage. Will definitely go back!
Picture perfect locale for relaxation on the top floor of a beautiful iconic hotel. Highly recommend!
Very professional staff and clean facility. Would highly recommend the Hammam Fully Loaded! Great experience.
The hamam is literally the best treatment ever. It's my 3rd time and each time has been equally amazing. I've had facials, massage and pedi.. which were great too. Staff is amazing.
Love the hamam experience but we were kept waiting for some time after each portion of the fully-loaded experience. How do they charge so much money and skimp on the little things? For example- the women's dressing room has broken hair styling tools, hair dryers that are not powerful to do anything quickly, sub par products. The men's dreasing room had Axe body spray. Yo, this isnt your target demographic. This afternoon cost me $556 and there wasnt enough spa snacks either. Get rid of the plastic trays, provide top of the line hair tools and necessities, give us tablets to read magazines from instead of wet , torn, and crinkled magazines. The hummus was awesome.
Really unpleasant experience. Check-in was unorganized and employee proceeded to master key open every locker in the change room to find one available, which my friend and I then had to share. “Relaxing” lounge was loud and crowded with hoards of middle aged women on their phones. For treatments the massage was disappointing but the facial was great. Compared to previous experiences at Fairmont spas, this place is horribly underwhelming. Will need to find better spa in Winnipeg as I will not be back to this one.
Loved the Hamam! Assistant was great with providing instructions. It was very relaxing. Enjoyed my mother-daughter Spa 101 Mani pedi with Laura and Courtney!

Getting a full body massage there after too many years of not having one is pure bliss. My massage lady was very professional and knew how to get to my knots and get rid of most of them. Atmosphere is tranquil, peaceful and they abidedby the Covid rules.
Over all everything was great. One comment: -Reception offered me my sandals and said "sorry these were just sanitized so they are wet". I don't think that should be a part of the ten spa experience. For the prices I pay here and for what I expect from this "10 star spa" you should be able to offer sanitized sandals that are dry. Its a little thing that will go a long way and this is not the first time this has happened to me at this spa. (Offering ppl wet shoes is getto). Thanks!
The best spa experience!
Awesome experience. Next we go back, I will definitely try the Hammam. My therapist brought us in to see the Hammam room and there seems to be a lot of attention to detail. Very relaxing environment, good therapists and reasonable pricing for a spa. Make sure you show up early to take in everything they offer.
My wife loves it there. I've never been but it makes her happy so ????????
I received the Ten's Ultimate Pedicure. It was perfect. I had such dry feet with extremely cracked heels. I left with feet that were smooth and healed (lol pun). It was the ultimate pampering experience. The staff was kind and I appreciated the amenities and relaxation room to read afterward. If you are going to get a pedicure at ten spa, be sure to go early to enjoy the steam room as you cannot do a steam after the pedicure. I can't wait for my next visit :)
I went to this spa on the recommendation of several women (age 25 - 55) I had a custom facial treatment, as well as used the spa showers, steam room & lounge area. CONS: Sandals given to me upon entering spa were FILTHY The white robe I was told to wear had a red (dried blood) looking stain The couches in the lounge area were crowded & loud The white spa sheets (on the bed where you lay to receive your facial) were visibly old & dirty My facial left me with long claw marks on my cheeks (it looked like a cat attacked my face) to the point strangers were asking me if I was okay. The steam room had women using it fully nude, without a towel between their bottom and the tiled bench. The steam room had tiles missing in places MOLD - Everywhere ... the windows, the floor corners, the grout in between tiles, the showers, around the sink in the bathroom, the toilets. Several white towels I picked out of the clean bin, were folded nicely but NOT CLEAN (had dried blood looking stains) Finally, upon leaving I was asked if I would like to tip cash or credit, when I said neither, the clerk was visibly upset by this and presented a rude demeanor. PROS: My pores are visibly cleaner, and skin is VERY soft. Cost was $374 after tax (which is reasonable for 2 skin "treatments") Front desk staff was pleasant upon entering spa The food platter looked good, but I could not eat anything because I have allergies
We were very well taken care of at Ten Spa. After several cancellations on their end due to building improvements, we were treated very fairly and received excellent service.
Awesome place. The steam room and Hamam are like nothing else. Feels like being in a whole other world. Highly recommended!
Have usually enjoyed my experience but just last week the manicure I received was wrecked by the time I arrived home. Didn't touch anything, walked home. Polish was too thick. Disappointed with it.
Relaxing, comfortable, friendly. Everything you need. Fun with friends.
Spa itself was relatively clean but they reuse the same blankets and pillows without changing them for the mani pedi chairs. Staff very friendly but my nails did not look great and were chipped the next day.
From my experience, God knows I've been to a lot of spas the ambience is best place to relax. My favorite is the cocoon by far. I used to live in Ottowa and every year I would fly just to come and enjoy the Ten Spa. It's definitely worth the trip
I really like Ten Spa. Their treatments are the best in the city. However, their surrounding elements are lacking. The main lounge isn't that quiet, you need to go to the quiet space for that, which only comes after your appointment. The food is always the same and I have no idea how people order drinks because I never see staff there. The steam room and rain mist shower is nice, but that's all they have. So if you're looking to do something full day then Thermea is the place to go. The prices are also high, but this is one of the only places I know that has a pillow that lets you lay on your stomach while pregnant and getting a massage which is glorious.
This was my first visit to Ten Spa I am very impressed with the professionalism, cleanliness and luxury. I had Hamam fully loaded and will definitely do again. I am looking forward to trying other services in the future.
I went to the Ten Spa for a 50 min custom massage earlier in February. It was my first time at the spa and I arrived 40 minutes early, to allow for extra time to familiarize myself with the process. I waited 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. The receptionist at the front desk was busy checking out two patrons. She quickly gave me a tour of the change room, pointed to where the steam room was and where the experiential shower was and pointed to a sign on the wall that instructed how to use the lockers, and then pointed me in the directions to go when I was ready for my massage. Considering it was my first visit to the spa, the "tour" was far too rushed. The massage room was cool and drafty which made the massage therapist's hands cold and so the massage was not enjoyable. The therapist never once checked if I was comfortable, when this is pretty common courtesy at other massage places I've been to. I expected to get a "how did we do" follow up survey email (again, customary at other places) and when I didn't get one I sent an email to the spa letting them know my feedback. The reservation coordinator replied and told me it's pretty common for people to have to wait at the front desk area and that I should have approached a staff that was available (impossible as there were no available staff around). They further told me I should have told my service provider that the room was drafty, that they can't have the room at a temperature that is right for all their customers, and that I didn't have to use their steam room and showers because they were completely optional. In a nutshell - they blamed me for my bad experience at their spa but did offer a free glass of champagne at my next visit. I will not be returning to the Ten Spa.
Paulo was fantastic and helped me tremendously with my sciatica. Amazing. I will be back. OMG I forgot her name - the young girl who removed skin tags and broken capillaries was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable in her work. Enjoyed my time with her as well.
Everything was rushed. I did not want a man massaging due to prior experiences. I asked for a woman. Got a man that was going a 100 miles an hour. Didn't even ha
I felt super safe at Tenspa, staff were friendly and very helpful. The amenities are beautiful and I always leave feeling like I've had great value for my experience.
I went for Hamam and the experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing and the service (Brittany) was awesome! I could go on about every fantastic detail but just try it...if you want relaxation you will not be disappointed.
Hamam heaven
Erin Champion's Massage was Excellent & Very Relaxing. Reception's PS was really fast & efficient.
Horrible service.they miss lead you with prices. They said it was 120 for intro to hamam and when I finished with the service which was not worth it because it didn’t even last an hour as promised was 50 min. Then they told me all together with tax it was 169!!! She told me it was not 120 but 125 and then there wa tax and a mandatory 15 percent which is $18.75 dollar tip on a service that’s less than an hour. I normally go to Riverstone which is amazing!! And booked this weekend there again because they don’t rip you off! The lady also never returned my email. Horrible will never go back.
I have been in this place several times and I love this place. My last visit was very good and plesant. I had an excellent service from the front desk to my treatment session.
Too expensive for experience
Wonderful as usual- keeping guests separate by assigning lockers and ensuring seating is distanced. Always clean.
Their Hamam treatment was spectacular.
Been going to Ten Spa for messages and facials. The staff is always friendly, it is always clean and their services are the best in the city. A bit expensive but worth the best in my opinion.
Dont see a defendant after, bad customer service, overcharge.
Will be back to try the Hamam! Great spa & lovely staff! Thank you!
Extremely professional, well run organization. Staff was very friendly and helpful
I loved every minute of this fabulous experience. Happily recommend or revisit it.
An eminently qualified aesthetician who is highly professional and client centred.
Terrible experience, had a 50 minute started 10mins late and still ended on time. The worst massage on top of that. My friend I was with got shellac nails done, they came off within 3 days. Called and they said they wouldn't do anything for her. Will never go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone
Best spa experience in Winnipeg & beyond
Love the atmosphere at TenSpa! The cookies are my favourite! Great customer service!
Matthew Hogan got me feelin like a piece of butter melting on warm stack of Johnny-cakes. 10/10 would recommend. Phenomenal service and amazing atmosphere.
I’ve been going to Ten Spa once or twice a year for the past decade and the staff (particularly the masseuses) and the cleanliness of the facilities has always been great. However, there doesn’t seem to be much effort made towards general …
Just the most relaxing place. Massage was great. Also - the showers are lovely!
The services versus price it is not value for money. however it is an experience as there are not many of such a kind here in Winnipeg
Such a great place to spend the day with my BFF. The Hamam did not disappoint staff was welcoming and pleasant!
Great seating/lounger area to relax before and after treatments. The snacks offered are delightful. Small bites while you let your worries slip away. Massage was excellent. All around great spa.
We did the Hamam experience for our honeymoon and it’s easily the best spa experience we’ve had. The water, the oil, the scrubs, I don’t think my feet have ever been this soft. It was so incredibly relaxing and the steam room and experience shower were a wonderful cap to the experience. Plus the snacks and water and tea - amazing! We don’t live in Winnipeg but might need to come here once a year just for this! The hotel is also great and makes it so nice to just go to your room afterwards while you’re thoroughly relaxed. 10/10 for the Ten Spa!!
Wonderful massage...almost dream like. Will definitely go back for massage. AWFUL manicure. JUST TERRIBLE. And the whole time the manicurist was trying to up sell me on Ten Spa. I usually fly to Toronto for the Stillwater Spa at the Hyatt (which is consistently amazing, great customer service) but I will not go back to Ten Spa for manicure or pedicure!! For the price and mine literally peeled off within hours. Smells chemically. Just overall terrible. I recently got engaged and this was supposed to be the highlight of my engagement. Turned out to be a total waste of $65. Hyatt is better priced and my manicur stayed for 10 days. Plus my nails looked amazing for a month afterwards. I fly again next weekend. As for now, I will only go back to Ten Spa for my touch up and their amazing massages. Also, food and service are terrible, and the change rooms are cramped, showers don't feel clean and their shoes are not as comfortable. If it wasn't for massage I would have hated this place completely.
Loved our experience. Only changes id make is put doors on the "quiet room" so its actually quiet and u dont hear people walking by and talking. And sandals that dont squeek would be nice. Also lockers need some maintenance so they dont get stuck closes. Otherwise great experience and will be back. Love the lower client volume compared to thermea, more relaxing.
The website is not user friendly, no one answers the phone and a call back will take 2 days.
Great staff and services. They really make you feel extra special at 10spa
One of the worst customer services experiences I have ever had. Tried to get assistance from associate. She insisted I could not pay by phone but only online. She assured me I could print out the gift certificate on-line, so I could put it in the birthday card we are sending - as a surprise. It was not possible and now the card will be mailed to me. I hope I get it in time, so I can mail it with the birthday card. This should have been easy and simple. Ten Spa's employee and process ensured it was not.
Had a fantastic, relaxing ladies spa day! The staff are wonderful. The front lounge did feel a little crowded at times, especially because of COVID, however it could just be that I’m not used to being around groups of people anymore. The quiet lounge was wonderful and peaceful.
Nice indoor retreat steam room, aromatherapy shower and snack food while you wait for your treatment
The Hamam Fully Loaded is life changing! This was my first experience with a hamam. If you haven’t had a hamam, book one for a special occasion or to treat yourself (it’s not cheap). Get the Fully Loaded Hamam even if it’s your first time. It’s 110 minutes of pure bliss! Lots of people ease their way into the hamam with shorter and cheaper options. I asked friends which one to get and everyone recommended the Fully Loaded. This might not be for everyone. You’ll have a Turkish towel that covers the right amount of your body. They supply two if needed. You need to have an open mind to get the best experience. If you’re self conscious or worried about the size of the towel, then you might want to start with an intro hamam. The staff were professional, spoke softly and made me feel very relaxed! I can’t wait to try it again in another year!
Love it here ! Place to go to get nails done
Better then 9 spa
Wonderful, relaxing. I love everything about this place. Their healthy snacks, beatiful showers, great sauna& excellent service for one fee.
My treatment was just amazing! I felt so comfortable and relaxed...was such a great treatment. Everything was very clean and the staff were great!
A pretty good pedicure and quiet setting. Great for a couples retreat.
Today was my 1st time at Ten Spa it was a surprise from my sister. Jasna has given me a tour around and show me showers and steem sauna, launge area and complimentary snack/refreshments. I had 50 min custome massage by registered massage therapist Delaney and she had golden hands. She asked me what was specific areas that I wanted massage and she kept checking with me if I was O.K throughout the treatment. I did not want to leave that bed today it was so amazing. I went in to massage with headache but left refreshed and relaxed and headache free. I did experience Thermea also but I do have to say I liked Ten Spa way better. Definitely recommend this heavenly place ????.
I have taken my friend from Vancouver to do the Hammam 101 twice now and it AMAZING. Starting with Jamie at front desk who was so lovely and moved things around so we can have our appointment together. The 101 is def worth the additional money as u get your own person and get moved into a private room for an amazing full wash and massage including your hair. The facility is lovely with their lounge and the snacks they have. Washroom is a bit tight and lacks changing area. Lockers can be limitted. However, It did not affect our experience and my friend says even in Vancouver she couldn't find a hammam experience that amazing. I will be doing this once a year for sure!
Excellent environment, tasty snacks :-)
I had another relaxing experience at Ten Spa. The staff is always pleasant and the esthetician did a lovely job on my nails.
Wonderful experience, as an old timer I truly appreciated being able to book over the phone and having the receptionist going over the services I had. Upon arrival I was greeted warmly and since it was my first time I got a thorough tour around the facilities. I really enjoyed the complimentary refreshments that were available, the pita bread and hummus was delicious! Red tea was marvelous!! And lastly my pedicure with Klava was heavenly, such a warm and lovely woman. It was my first time but definitely not my last time. I look forward to book my next appointment.
Staying in the lovely Fort Gary Hotel, I checked out the spa and got a hamam treatment. Everything about it was luxurious.

Very professional and peaceful Excellent service
Great spa
I took my niece for a pedicure for her birthday. We used the facilities(steam room, shower, snacks, lounge) which we always enjoy. The pedicure was good but it is hard to relax in the brightly lit stark white room especially when they fire up the electric sander. Our toes looked good but the next morning when I woke up the polish on one of my toenails peeled off. Even though I couldn't afford the time, I went back a few days later to get my one toenail polished. The next day another toenail on the other foot was off. I called (Friday) and suggested they just send me the nail polish so I can touch it up myself rather than spend 2 hours coming in AGAIN. I was told the manager wouldn't be in for another 2 hours so they would call me in the afternoon. This morning (Tuesday) I still had not had a call back. I called, once again, and left a message (rather than continue on hold). I did receive a call back and I had to go through the whole story again. There was a note on my account to send me the nail polish but they somehow didn't have my address. I was told the nail polish will be delivered in the next day or so. We'll see if it ever arrives. Paying $85 for a pedicure is bad enough but when you receive such horrible customer service it is appalling. I would never go back unless it was for the Hammam. That is the only thing worth it at Ten Spa.
It was a lovely experience!! But I think they should have discount for healthcare!!
I have visited Ten Spa many times over the years and have always enjoyed it until this time. I went for a manicure with gel polish and am extremely disappointed. The polish was not applied all the way to the tip of nail and the polish was lifting away from my nail on 2 fingers the day after my visit. I ended up with 2 chipped nails within 4 days of my visit. For $105 (with tip) I expected a premium product and finish. The worst part is that I emailed Ten Spa and explained my disappointment and their response made me feel like a liar. They insisted on multiple pictures and after a week of “investigating” they emailed back stating they will not be doing anything to make this right. It seems like they only care about their clients until they have a complaint! I will NEVER return to Ten Spa due to the extremely poor customer service. There are other luxury spas that appreciate their clients more!
Always a great experience at tenspa.. love the steam room and shower after.
The best spa experience I've ever had. Such friendly staff. The place is beautiful. It's so much more than your typical spa, it genuinely has a unique Ten spa touch. I will be going again and again. I left feeling very zen.
I spent the afternoon at Ten Spa recently with a dear friend, as a way to carve out some relaxing time together, since she lives outside the city. The atmosphere, as always, is lovely, and the service very professional. I highly recommend Ten Spa!
Was very happy with my facial.
Today I went to Ten Spa for the very first time! It was an awesome experience right from when I walked in to Ten Spa and was greeted by the cheerful and very friendly Front Desk staff to when I left! They walked me through everything and showed me where everything was. I had a Power Oxygen Facial with extractions booked with Nafisa and she was amazing from start to finish! She walked me through each step of the facial and ensured I was comfortable and she was very gentle and thorough! She advised me of what products she used and what she would suggest I use that would be beneficial to my skin type. The front desk staff explained about the products when I went up to the front to pay and I was in no way pressured to buy. It was all just suggestions. I will definitely come back and will definitely book again with Nafisa!
First off I would like to say this was my first time at Ten spa, I have heard over the years of The Great Ten Spa . …
Was an amazing day! Pedicure, manicure, facial and massage were all amazing. Lovely staff as well.
Lounge was okay. Snacks amenities were okay. Overall it was an "okay" place. Definitely not a "hotel spa". Place is 3.5 stars at most. I am giving 2 stars because my massage was waste of time and money. I could feel that my RMT was done for the day - she gave poor massage & poor customer service. They should get rid of the mandatory 15% gratuity.
I have been to Ten Spa many times before the pandemic. The unpleasant surprise was their automatic addition of 15% gratuity.
Amazing experience but a real squeeze on the wallet. Loved my facialist.
I am so relaxed after spending time at ten spa, great atmosphere and great people working there!
