I had a haircut in this salon today and was totally disappointed. I had specifically told while booking appointment that i need to book with someone who has experience with curly hairs. The lady who did my cut had no idea how to cut curly hairs and she hardly cut any hairs. She was not confident if i can go with layers or U cut. I feel she just trimmed my hair little bit. i just wasted my money and will ahve to book appointment at another salon. They should refund my money for providing low level service. After she styled my hair with diffuser, it flattened all my curls. I can do better styling than that. Quiet frustrated as i had booked appointment after waiting for 3 months due to covid .

Sadly I've stopped going here altogether. For cuts this place is mediocre at best. For colour, they have talented staff that need senior colourist support, which they don't have. I've tried getting my brunette hair Baliage to grey-brown and they can't even accomplish that. I'm done throwing my money at them.

It's an amazing salon. I just say my hair were very dry, frizzy and not at all manageable. Fatima did excellent job she did understand my hair very well. She exactly made it look the way I imagined. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient with the time spent while receiving the services. Having been a long standing client I have had the opportunity to have many different stylists. You will be in good care with any of the stylists. Jenn knows my hair the best but that comes with styling it for over 20 years. Tammy and her team in the spa know my preferences and I always leave pleased with my nails.

I came to Fortelli a few days ago to get a balayage and a cut and my experience was amazing! The salon is very nice and clean and the whole staff was very kind and welcoming. They greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked if I wanted a coffee or tea. The person who did my hair was very kind and good at walking me through what was going to be done to my hair since I had never dyed my hair before. My appointment did take a long time and it was a bit pricy but it was well worth it because my hair turned out amazing! I’ll never go anywhere else.

The best dye job ever! I've been to many hair salons (malls, etc.)in Mississauga and they are subpar in comparison to Fortelli's. Sam is the best colorist/hairdresser. Great customer service and extremely talented: she knows what she is doing. Very attentive and focused. Unlike other hair salons where they double book and they're rushed, Fortelli's puts customers first. It's a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I asked for an ombre/bayalage cool blonde and she got the job done in one session. The tones she chose were perfect! I have Asian hair so lightening can be tricky but she did a wonderful job! As seen in my profile pic. Also, I like the color line they use: it smells great and very gentle on my hair. I highly recommend and their ratings truly reflect their service.

I booked my wedding trial with this salon and had Tammy and Samantha as my service providers. the front desk staff is was great and both my service providers are so friendly and did a great job on both hair and makeup. They knew exactly what I was looking for. I'm really looking forward to the experience on the wedding day. The salon is really beautiful inside and well laid out to enjoy the experience and has a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I have had my hair done by various staff members at Fortelli and all of them have done a great job. This is good peace of mind because if your stylist is not available another team member will be able to book you in.

I was looking for a new salon in my area and made an appointment here. Although the place is beautiful and provides an impressive variety of services I wasn't pleased with mine. My hair is already blonde and I only needed my roots filled in and my hair toned. The stylist suggested I try a grey tone of hair because I only like ash blondes and the grey is in style. I was hesitant but did end up going for it and left happy. Once I got home in the light I realized some parts of my hair were blonde and some were grey, others were a very warm brassy blonde. I called and went back to have it fixed where in the end I was charged a second time for a service that should have been done right the first time. Even now my hair is still blonde and greyish but almost looks like it has a green hue. I have hardly washed out any toner and use a purple shampoo so it wasn't my doing, it was just a job poorly done. Not worth 265.00 for a simple job on short hair. I've had better.

I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for My Salon & Spa services. starting with my waxing which I'm very picky about especially when it comes to my eyebrows. Having my lasering done in a very comfortable environment. To getting a relaxing manicure and pedicure before vacation or just needed lol. Having a massage done by an RMT so you know your in good hands. Facials that are relaxing and cleansing but you know that your skin is going to come out glowing and refreshed. They also inform you with great information in regards to your skin and what's going on, to even making sure you're going home with the right home care. Amazing Lash lifts and spray tans to feel on point but still looking natural. Just to list a few services that I have had done there well still offering other services that I haven't had the opportunity to enjoy yet. Too the amazing Salon side we're stylist actually take their time and explain the process of your service. from color correction , colors , hair treatments, haircuts, beautiful styling and updos. I always know I'm in good hands.

Nicole totally spoiled my hair style she gave me uneven cut and much shorter than what I wanted, she came 30 mins late and was unapologetic about the delay or the haircut that I did not like, then her next appointment arrived and she hurriedly left. The staff at Fortelli Salon and Spa were nothing short of amazing during the lead up to my wedding and the actual wedding day. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any bride looking to relax and be well taken care of. I had a large bridal party and several family members who were looking to get their hair and makeup done on the morning of the wedding, and manicures and pedicures two days before the wedding- there were nine of us in total - and Fortelli's handled it all so well! Marisa, at the front desk, was amazing and scheduled everything so efficiently! She was patient with me as I had to reschedule things a couple of times but was quick to accommodate any change in plans. The quality of the hair styling, spa treatments, and makeup is all top notch! The staff are all great at working with your vision and making you feel beautiful, but natural. In particular, Angela did my hair and she was such a trooper. I had envisioned wanting to have a loose soft curl for my wedding day, but for some reason my hair wouldn't hold the curl. Angela insisted I come back several times to try new techniques to see if the curl would hold. She asked me to send her pictures a couple hours after I left the salon so she could see how the curl was holding up. This level of service is so rare these days and so appreciated! Angela ended up finding a technique that helped my hair hold the curl and even sent me with a care package to help touch up my hair through the day if it needed it. Thanks to Angela I got the overall look I was hoping for on my wedding day. Thanks Angela! A big thank you to Sarah and Anne Marie - the amazing registered massage therapists that I attribute my relaxation to in the months leading up to the wedding! A big thank you to the beautiful ladies in the spa - specifically Tammy, Serina and Rachel - for making us all feel pampered, relaxed and beautiful. You ladies are all so talented and lovely. I went as part of a bachelor's party. To make it clear how much I loved it, I must tell you that I hate spas. I usually want to slit my own throat when I have to go for bachlorette parties. However, this one is different. They are extremely accommodating even after we were stuck in traffic and arrived 40 minutes late! The staff was great in accommodating us and delivered on everything we had booked and more! Two of my friends asked out of the blue for some eyebrow services and they did everything to fit that into the already tight time that we had. Even with all the time constraints they still delivered amazing services and tended to us hand and foot, literally. The staff that did a facial for me even took some time to go through my skin regiment and consulted on what I should do to improve it WITHOUT being pushy or tried to pitch products to me. Will definitely suggest this place for bachelorette parties and people who want to try out spas!

Took my son in to see Elena since we have a wedding coming up and didn't want to cut his hair ourselves for the occasion. My wife had her hair cut and styled by Elena and she loved it. My wife found out that she also cuts children's hair so we booked my son. She did a great job with him (he's 1.5 yrs old). The place is very clean and staff was extremely friendly and kind. They even offered us water while we waited and also took our coats to hang. Great experience, would definitely recommend this place based on mine and my wife's experiences here. Great place.

My husband and I had a pedicure here Dec 2016. The spa area looked nice and clean and the staff were nice. Despite the luxurious environment the prices were quite expensive for the actual value of the service. Our feet didn't feel as smooth as we would have expected, the pedicure was average and the polish started peeling a few days which never happens to me usually. Okay experience but I will be trying other places locally.

I've been there about 3 times. The first 2 times were really great experiences but last time I went in Oct 2016, the girl that was cutting my hair had recently joined their team... she wasn't very good with blow drying and made my hair look like a big frizzy ball which was really disappointing given that it was my sisters wedding the next day and I wanted my hair to look fabulous. Luckily, they had a senior stylist help redo the blow dry and fix up the cut a bit to make it look fabulous. I was surprised though that the receptionist was so quick to get me to pay even though I was visibly unhappy and she didn't ask if anything was wrong or if I was happy with the cut. I don't think I'll be returning and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

I came to Fortelli desperate nearly three years ago on the recommendation of my mom, after a bad dye job left me needing a complete colour correction. I have not gone to any other salon since. Fortelli is home to truly outstanding staff, from the front desk – Lisa is kind, compassionate, organized, and thorough, every time I visit – through the salon, where Jen and Madeline are the most talented stylists I've ever encountered. Both Jen and Madeline have worked with me thoughtfully to establish and maintain a solid colour routine suited so perfectly to the natural look I aim for, from highlights to balayage and toning in between visit. I can't say enough about Fortelli's service and skill. I won't go anywhere else.

As she goes through my hair doing her work, it relaxes me and I always enjoy the experience and I look GREAT when she is done styling my hair. Following a haircut that I wasn’t 100% pleased with at Fortelli, I called and let them know I was disastisfied. They invited me back to try to adjust it with a stylist that I had prior to this haircut and although I can’t get the hair back that was cut prior, she definitely helped blend the layers. The hairstylist that adjusted the cut is Tex. She specializes in cuts (I would always recommend when seeing a stylist whether for cut or color to see someone who specializes in either one of the two). She continuously travels to learn aswell as educate and she is so incredibly proffessional. I can definitely be a picky client and she knows how to deal with me well! Also the manager who dealt with me today aswell as the receptionist who handled my phone call were incredibly professional. Thank You Tex and Fortelli !

Visited for the 5th time. Each time while they give me the same level of stylist, it has been a different person. I have never insisted on the same person mostly as you feel the training and the brand remains the same so not an issue. The last time yesterday (31 May) was going as usual - too many questions, talkative stylists (they want to be your friends these days; cant happen if you change my friend each time - Almost feel like a speed dating service rather than a salon) and general boredom in the person. Then the worst thing happened - I was given the cut, colored my hair and suddenly somebody else washed my hair which was okay. But then the person just left me with my wet hair on the chair, with my cape and towel. I waited thinking my designated stylist will come and finish her work with me but it was not to be. 10 minutes after sitting with my wet hair (now air drying on its own), I stand up and walk inside to find my stylist having some discussion with another customer. So I ask her as to whether her work with me is done and she looks me like some wet dog had walked inside her home and wonders why I am still there. It was outrageous. They want feedback on how I have been treated. But for the fact the last 4 times were just okay, I have rated them at 1 stars. Only if Google can give me an option of Zero. Extremely sad customer service especially for the prices being charged. I am not going to return for sure. Thumbs Down!

I got my eyelashes tinted here by some blonde lady over a year ago. The lady doing it was gabbing the whole time and my eyes were burning. I told her. She said I was fine. When done the white of my eye was very red. I asked her if I should go wash it. She said I was fine. I asked where the washroom was, went and washed it anyways. That was the part that really upset me, so casual and uninterested about it. It was red for several weeks. I called this place but there was no follow up. I took photos both in the washroom and leaving (posted) because I was genuinely worried. Don't go here for tints! Train your staff if dealing with vulnerable body parts or stop doing this service, please. ????

I had a serious hair emergency this past weekend and this salon totally saved the day (and my hair). I had to get my extensions (which were installed elsewhere) and the bonded/melted glue out of my hair along with my whole head being practically matted/knotted.... My hair was a disaster! I had to attend an engagement party.... The Fortelli team was FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Words cannot describe the help and great work which they provided! Lisa and her team of girls (stylists) worked together like a family! It was amazing!! My first experience was with a large group of girls for a relaxing spa day retreat where Fortelli catered to our every need! They cut my hair first about 10 inches when i said I would like to donate it and also helped me with the location to donate. I booked an appointment a month in advance, and requested to have done full-head highlights and a haircut. My appointment was at 1:45 PM and I did not leave until roughly 7 PM. The person that did my hair after 2 hours of using foil on only the back section of my hair said that she would not be able to give me a haircut today because it is taking too much time and she has other clients coming. She asked me if I was able to come back the next day which I agreed too, although I was agitated (expecting it would be done in one sitting). I paid $300 (before tip) and I left with wet hair. I got home and noticed a stripe of bright bleached hair running across my hairline. I immediately called them to let them know and they were dismissive and questioned my opinion. I came back the next morning and the girl that did my hair said the “foil slipped.” I then had another girl cut and style my hair. She did a great job and I had no complaints about her. After it was cut and restyled I noticed the stripe was still there. They then had to dye and tone the stripe 4 times to fix it, with 3 people working in tandem. I was there from 8:30 AM until 1 PM. I paid another $70 (before tip). It was supposed to be just a haircut and colour. Sitting in a mask for 10 hours was not what I had in mind. When I raised my concerns to the receptionist she was apologetic and offered me some free products as consolation. While I appreciated the gesture, I should have gotten at least a partial refund instead. After years of being a loyal customer I will not be returning.

I can’t tell you my experience at the salon because I did not make it in.. I was really hoping to experience this place as I did hear good things about the hairdressers. But I can tell you my experience with the receptionist, first of all she answered the phone very loudly I wanted to tell her to calm down . I asked if I can book an appointment and that it would be my first time at the salon. I asked when her next opening was? And she laughed very rudely with such a childish behavior “ what are you looking to have done” I wanted to hang up but I kept my cool. I politely told her and she said” well your gonna have to come in for a consultation first “ and I told her I’m really tight on time as I do have kids and find a babysitter so is there anyway I can skip the consultation and do it on the phone. She flat out said “ nooo we do consultations for everyone. I said well thanks!!! I found her to be very rude, not accomadating and with a lot of attitude. I will never be calling this place again!!!!!!

Then a few minutes into the cut the stylist tells me that she needs to attend to one of her clients and keeps me waiting with soaking wet hair for another 10 to 15 minutes. I went last weekend to get a haircut. I just move to Canada and it was getting difficult to find a decent Salon. Since I was 15 I have only let one person to cut my hair so I was really nervous. The customer service of Fortelli is really nice, they attended me right away (I had and appointment) and my stylist was pretty friendly. They had complementary cookies that day which was a nice touch since I was starving. I really like the haircut, the stylist took the time to understand what I wanted and gave me recommendations as well (I pay for a Senior stylist $59). After they haircut they styled my hair and made sure I was satisfied with the service. I would recommend this Salon to a friend.

I have been coming to Fortelli’s for years. My usual hair stylist (Kelly) is amazing. She is very honest, thorough and talented. I trust her with my head of hair! I started getting balayage done in my hair to hide my white/grey hairs as recommended by a colour specialist 4 years ago and love it. Although the prices have gone up quite a lot for a full head of balayage and toner, I find their standard of service to be very consistent. (I’ve only had one bad experience in the past and I always make it clear that I do not want to be seen by this person.) Sarah did an amazing job with my balayage and I recommend her to everyone! I went in to get a LOB (long bob) and I was booked in with Joe (the owner). I was hesitant at first because I had been to tons of other salons and none of them gave me quite the attention to detail and meticulousness that I always looked for. Joe truly understood and knew thoroughly what I wanted with my hair and he delivered excellently. I have never been this happy with my hair. I have been a client of Fortelli's for over 15 years and I still go to them even though I now live more than 50 kms away. When you find a salon that makes you feel special every time you arrive and makes you feel even better after your spa and hair experience, it is worth the drive. The best review I can provide for Fortelli's though, is to share a comment made to me by a group of people I had just met. The topic of age came about in the conversation and the group guessed I was 15-20 years younger than I really am. Go team Fortelli !!! Did not have not the best experience here. I had had my hair dyed improperly from a previous salon so I called this fortellis location and was told they specialized in color correction. I went in for a consultation and spoke to a girl named Michelle who they told me prior to the consultation they trusted with Color correction. My hair had been poorly highlighted, with yellow and orange tones and generally uneven all through out. I told her my concern about the brass Color and breakage, and that I would like to slowly start going back blonde. She said it would take time before I would be LIGHT blonde and it would be a process which I understood and she suggested a balayage which I agreed. The blending was good, and she took her time, but the entire time she was talking to me she was just trying to sell me the salon products. she put a toner on it and when she washed it out my hair was BRIGHT orange. The more she blow dried it the more orange it got. When she asked if I liked it I told her that wasn't what I wanted. She told me she had put a "strawberry" blonde toner on it, and said that it was a huge change and I was probably just in shock. She told me to wash it a couple of times let it fade and if I didn't like it to come back and they will fix it. She told me she was going on vacation and wouldn't be back for a bit I informed her I was leaving for vacation and would not be able to come back right away. The whole thing all together cost $350. I asked if I would have to pay for them to fix it I was told since they were not able to achieve the Color I wanted it would be free and I would not have to pay anything when I came back to have it fixed. When I called back to book an appointment to have it fixed I explained on the phone what happened and what the appointment was for. I was put on hold and then told that since I was away on vacation and the hair was washed there was elements that happened that was out of their control, (over the phone when they didn't even see my hair, it looked the exact same from the time I left) and that if I wanted it fixed I would have to book another consultation to find out how much it would be to redo a whole balayage. so now I would have to re pay to fix THEIR mistake. Not impressed by the customer service, they are not about satisfying the customer, just out to make money. End result I spent $350 for orange hair, that should have been dark/medium blonde and now I have to pay to have it fixed.

In my most recent appointment , Sarah did a wonderful job on my hair colour, the perfect blend of highlights on the lower part of my hair and toner to make it natural looking. She put my vision to life! I am so happy I found this salon many years ago and continue to come here.
