Great spa! Had a groupon for a massage and booked a 1 hour session with Jackie, Staff were friendly and professional, and spa was very clean. Jackie was AMAZING, very good technique, used perfect pressure and worked out all my sore spots, definitely recommend requesting her using the online booking system at your appointment another bonus is there is lots of free 2 hour parking located on the street or nearby side streets

Very good massage therapists and services offered. Pricing is very good as well on all services, clean and easy access though parking can be a bit tricky on the residential street but there is parking lot around the corner of the building with access from either 20 Ave NW or 14 St NW that is fairly inexpensive for parking.

As a wedding DJ service I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Centre to our wedding or corporate clients. Great place to relax before a wedding or event! I've had a number of massages here over the years, always very professional and easy to claim on benefits.

Came for a prenatal massage with Jen and it was amazing. I mentioned where I was having specific pain and she was able to target that area and it’s almost completely cleared up for me. I’d tried chiro and massages elsewhere before and nothing had helped. The table for your belly support is very comfortable and I felt like they knew exactly how to accommodate a very pregnant woman. I will 100% be going back.

I didn't love the pregnancy massage tables and it felt like the tables were the only thing that made this place a "specialist" in prenatal massage. I did request side lying and that was better but I didn't feel like the massage therapists knew anything special about prenatal versus just a relaxation massage. I usually came away relaxed but didn't feel like there was much benefit other than laying down for an hour or so. I have been to other prenatal massage centers where I felt more supported physically by the pillows and felt like the therapist was more knowledgeable about changes in my body and how to address and mitigate the new aches and pains. Of all the therapists I tried on my 6 month subscription at Centre Spa, Chantel was definitely my favourite. The booking system was easy although my receipt did not always reflect the amount I paid with GST which made it tricky to submit the full amount to my insurance company. The 6 month subscription did make it a reasonable price though.

Went to The Centre Spa & Wellness for a prenatal massage and pedicure and it was AMAZING. Probably the best prenatal massage I have ever had. I will definitely be going back in month 9 for the cooling foot treatment and another massage to relieve some of the extra tension I am carrying.

When asked what I would like today I said full body and masseuse W quickly snapped and cut me off by saying " Can't do full body with 45 minutes. I was not expecting full focus on all the body, I have done 45 minutes before with a brief body massage. I found the tone to be very rude and was ready to leave before the massage began. when I was coming to relax.

The place is clean and well located. But the experience is really spending on who the therapist is. The first time I had Diana and she was awesome. She knew I was a Groupon customer but she still did her best. At the end of the session she taught me some exercise that I can do at home to help me with my hip pain. However, the second time I had Dawn. And it was awful. She wasn't trying very hard and did not listen to my concerns of my trouble areas. At the end of the session, she was complaining to me how the therapist had to take a discount on their rate and Groupon still takes half of that. If the centre has made this business decision, the therapist should respect that and not complain to the customers. I felt bad and still gave her a generous tip but she didn't even say thank you.

I’ve been going to this spa for a few years. In the past it was great. The last two massages were terrible. The sheets were flannel and very uncomfortable to lay on. I think I tried two of the newer massage therapists, so I am giving this place a 2 for the benefit of the doubt - but the massages I received were terrible. I get headaches and I went in to try and relieve my headache, and the woman didn’t massage anywhere on my body that causes my headache. It was brutal. And her touch was so faint that I couldn’t feel it. And her finger nails left cuts on me

Everyone is very nice at the place. It is not hard to book but it is a bit of hit or miss with the massage therapists. I have only found a great one on the third attempt. Kim is great! I went for a prenatal massage with her and I will sure go again! For the management, please keep the bathroom cleaner.

She was polite, personable and most of all she's so good at what she does! My face feels amazing and my feet are pretty again! Highly recommend! I'll be back soon that's for sure❤

I chose this place because your website boats about being prenatal specialists. I am currently 36 weeks pregnant. I go to someone else usually but since this is much closer to my house I decided to try it out! I needed something to get me through the waiting period between my massaged with my lady. I had an awful experience. I dimmed the lights slightly, but it should have been much darker in the room. There was no effort to not drag feet on the floor, so it was loud shuffling. Not sure if you've ever been pregnant, but my skin is VERY sensitive. especially in the last few weeks. The hand motion was "choppy" at first and her hands were cold. So her hands were not constantly on my back, so i got a shock every time she touched me. very uncomfortable. Then I would say less pressure and make noises that mean less pressure and still the same pressure. Again, my skin is super sensitive and I couldn't relax at all throughout the entire massage. I had booked a 90 min massage (I wish I hadn't) and she had to ask me what i wanted done DURING my massage. 90 mins means full body. My arms weren't even touched. she asked me what i would rather and because of the unbearable pain i was experiencing during my shoulder beating, i said legs would be best. i said at the beginning of my massage that my hips are sore and sensitive. she hammered at my hips enough i could barely bend over when i left. Again... said less pressure AND made noises to emphasize what a bad time i was having. I really try not to be rude. Then i had to turn onto my back, which is totally fine... BUT there was no effort to assist me in turning over while i was trying not to fall off the table. THEN, i was put flat on my back... this is so, so, so, so wrong. There wasn't much left in the massage so i didn't say anything, and truthfully... i was so thrown off by the intense pain i had while she was doing whatever it is she was doing with my poor pecs... again SUPER sensitive during pregnancy. she then just abruptly ended the massage and walked out... i was flat on my back and 36 weeks pregnant... no assist in getting up? When an institution boasts about being a prenatal specialty place, i would only assume that they know not to put a pregnant person on her back. Same with hammering on sensitive hips. so wrong. i am incredibly unimpressed and frankly angry about the awful experience i had. i am still sore from her, and luckily my chiropractor got me in on Monday and fixed the mess she made of my hips. and my massage therapist fixed my muscles that she damaged. I just want you to know that since you advertise "prenatal" you should know prenatal. This was a more expensive massage and it wasn't even worth the gas for me to get there. Worst 126 dollars ever spent, literally a complete waste of my money.

Quinton did an amazing and professional job fixing my muscular back, shoulder, and hip problems (which were causing me severe pain due to being 39 weeks pregnant) during the prenatal massage. Quinton is a very experienced RMT and even taught me some stretching exercise techniques to use at home. I wish I would've started coming here earlier in my pregnancy. I started with the Groupon but will definitely be back for more treatments. Highly recommended!

Wendy was fabulous. A amazing person, massage therapist and spiritual guru. By her techniques and care, she helped to release my emotional blockage and pain throughout my body that was stagnant and causing me trauma and pain. She is a passionate and empathetic soul with the magic touch of a spiritual healer. She did more for me than make me feel better physically, she helped me mentally. She is one a kind! I'm so glad that the universe brought me to her. I will definitely be a regular client of hers from here on. She's the best, and I've been to ALOT of massage therapists through the the years, so I feel I have an educated option. Please go and see her. You won't ever go to anyone else.
