Well well well! It was extremely Phenomenal, relaxing, and enjoying the music. But different than the traditional Turkish Hamam. Modern type, I would say. Also for my next trip over, I would like to have more time on massage with earthy music and eucalyptus aromatic oil please. Thank you Amina for being so nice and well knowledgeable on your job. Your hands gave me extra energy. Thank you.

I was told over the phone that if I cancelled at least 48 hours in advance that my CC would be refunded. I booked a group fro July 1 2017 and unfortunately some those who were going to come decided it was to great of an expense. I tried to rebook for another day for two people and they were fully booked. So I said I will call back once I talk to the people I am booking for. When I asked if my CC would be refunded, the attendant said that she didn't know how to do that and that I would have to wait until the following week to be refunded. I just checked the email receipt that they sent me and it states at the bottom that they do not do refunds at all. I was lied to over the phone. I'll still rebook the appointments if I can as it a much anticipated wedding present, but I will never book at this spa again simply because I was lied to. Not good business ethics or professional.

Terrible experience with Soma Spa. My GF bought me a 90min massage through groupon in early April. Then after we tried to book the massage, they limited there groupon booking to very limited times. Had my original booking for June 23 which they called the week before as they didn't have a massage therapist anymore, so they gave me a date of Aug 24 which I said didn't work as I was on holidays then but they assured me I would be able to chamge it once they found a massage therapist. Called beginning of Aug to change and was told I wasn't allowed to change it. I made it very clear that I could never make the date and after a lengthy conversation they changed it to the early Sept. The day before my massage appt I get a voicemail claiming these masseuse was sick and they had to change my appt. I called back and they then told me the masseuse was no longer sick and my massage would be going ahead at the scheduled time. The next morning I get another phone call an hour before my appt telling me the masseuse was sick and they would be rescheduling. I told them I had enough and that I wanted my money back. They were very rude and I would not recommend anyone use there services as they clearly had no intention on fulfilling groupon commitment.

My wife purchased a hammam package for me for Father's Day and I was lucky enough to take advantage of it today. Aminah was a great therapist, keenly aware to ensure I was most comfortable. I enjoyed the hammam so much that I purchased a couples package for a later time to enjoy with my wife. A very unique experience, very relaxing, would highly recommend.

I had laser hair removal done at the downtown location a couple of years ago. The spa itself was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However; I had invested in 12 sessions of laser hair removal on multiple areas, and the results were minimal. I was told at least half of the hair would be gone, but it’s not even close. I was even considered a good candidate, because I have fair skin and dark hair. This whole experience has been heartbreaking, because it took so long to save for these sessions, and I can no longer afford to get it done. ????

I'm a regular client with Soma, I have tried most of their services; Facials, body treatments and nails treatments and I was always happy with the results. The staff at Soma is awesome and very friendly beginning from the receptionists , therapists and end by the owner. When you are there you can feel the happy environment there which will definitely make you happy too. I highly recommend this Spa.

Had a 2 hour massage today with Courtney (90 min Athletica and I added scalp and foot massages). Highly recommended!! Front staff was friendly, and Courtney’s massage was epic. Pretty sure she found muscles I didn’t know existed (and I told her this, haha!). Great pressure, smooth flow, quiet and clean facilities. Would return again for sure!

I did the Grand Hamam because I got the gift certificate... and they really need to let people know that the salt scrub is quite painful before you book it... I know that any kind of exfoliation can hurt, but holy damn!

The first thing I appreciate about this business is how -clean- everything is. You can smell it in the air and in the towels. Everything is so clean. I have used their massage, facial and nail services. Top quality and qualified staff. MoMo is a skilled artisan in her craft- she truly knows the techniques for fabulous skin. The massage therapists are very professional and amazing!

I was recommended to Laura by my best friend who has been seeing her for quite some time. Laura is extremely friendly, throughout, and answered every question I had without hesitation! She made me feel relaxed and calm through the tough parts. Why did I choose to start getting sugared for my Brazilian? Because my biggest issue was dealing with ingrown hairs that would be very dense and itchy when they grew back. I have only ever shaved, never waxed or anything, and I really wish even 5 years ago I knew about this because it makes a huge difference. Since I only shaved in the past, my hair follicles were like bouquets of carrots, so yes, the first appointment was NOT comfy and took approximately 30 minutes. The hair didn't grow back until 2 weeks later and it was very sparse and SOFT! Not a single ingrown hair to be found and I never felt any discomfort as it grew back. I just finished my second appointment that only took 10 minutes and it was an absolute breeze in comparison to the first because they weren't bouquets of carrots and only solo carrots!! So ladies, if you psyched yourselves from the first appointment, I strongly recommend to go back and continue because it's maybe 3/10 pain in comparison to 8/10 pain the first time! I will never go back to shaving ever again!!

I had a great experience at Soma. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and the overall ambience of the spa instantaneously made me feel more calm and ready for my treatment. My facial was awesome and my aesthetician provided some helpful day-to-day tips to help my skin during our unforgiving winter season. Would recommend!

I had wanted to try this spa since it first opened due to such a fantastic location. I did get a Groupon for an amazing deal on two facials and enjoyed it immensely. After the facial I asked if they may be able to squeeze me in for a pedi and they did no problem. I think it was the best pedi I have ever had. All their prices are so reasonable and their staff is wonderful. I am going back on Thursday to try the Hammam and mani/pedi again. You really ought to try this spa - you won't be disappointed!

We booked at Soma for pre-stagette party with a group of girls. The whole experience was incredible! The place itself is welcoming, homey, and just so cute. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Plus, we left with gorgeous toes and polish that didn’t chip. If you’re looking for amazing service, definitely try out Soma!

I completely enjoyed my 90 minute massage at Soma Spa. It was a combination of traditional and Thai massage. Love the atmosphere in the spa. I used a Groupon, but will definitely be back to pay regular price for another massage.

Husband and I both had the Athletica Deep Tissue Massage. We get regular massages back home, and these by far were the best we have ever had. Shout out to our wonderful masseuses Ricardo and Zena! Highly recommend this facility, very clean and professional.

Massage membership was great, however the year long commitment forced me to cancel its renewal unfortunately. I no longer live in the area so I only wanted to do 3 or 6 months at a time, which is offered for the same cost through other businesses. The massages are usually great, clean environment, can be a bit noisy at times.

Had a massage with Zena. table was very uncomfortable and made lots of Noise. Staff member also walked in to the room during the massage. Therapist seemed to be sick during the treatment I could hear her sniffling and trying not to cough. Overall she just seems inexperienced.

I booked a message for my sister as she is a new mom of twins and is in extreme amount of stress. I also booked her baby sister after getting a message of confirmation that massage is confirm, they called to cancel as the massage therapist isn’t feeling well. I tried to understand even tho I spent money on baby sister but it’s fine it happens. I booked my sister massage AGAIN for the second day and again received a message to confirm and after I confirmed I waited an hour then I booked baby sitter again for my sister so she can get a massage, they called and cancelled again saying the massage therapist quit. I understand life happens I tried to tell the receptionist that I booked a babysitter second time she had no interest in hearing and suggested nothing to makeup for the cancellation NOTHING, just plain okay we can book facial or book you for next week. I was really excited to be booking with them but to me it feels like an unprofessional place where clients aren’t valued. I’m still waiting on my refund. I’m highly disappointed, It’s as if they do not value a client.

Love it here - great place to go to for self-care! I went in for a massage and was so wound up that I was talking through the massage and couldn't relax. Courtney encouraged me calm down and literally melted away all the knots in my back. Great spot for a mani-pedi with friends too! Look forward to booking here again when the covid restrictions are gone!

My first time here, and it was great. It's a very nice place to walk into, very welcoming and gives you that "relaxed" feeling almost instantly. I had a massage by therapist Rocio Bedoya, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. She was very nice and communicative. And she was very good at what she did. I would recommend her to friends or anyone looking for a relaxing massage. I also enjoyed my first ever pedicure and that went well also. This is somewhere I will book again for a bit of pampering it would be a great place for a couple of girlfriends to get together, massages, pedicures etc

We had a mix up with dates and times and yet they were kind enough to accommodate both of us and made it an awesome experience. I recommend and will be back for sure. Just wish I wrote the ladies name down to ask for her next time, she was great! I have new feet and my daughter has new hands! <3

Had booked a hot stone massage and hammam for 2 friends and a soma momma prenatal massage for myself. Both ladies were very happy and relaxed after their treatments and no complaints from either of them. Zena did a great job making sure I was comfortable as I am 9 months pregnant right now. I swear the description on the website says Im suppose to get a hydrating mask with the soma momma (which I did not receive ????). Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely return.

Unsafe and unhygienic place to work. I got sick just after a month of working there. Small crammed break room, no parking. Management is unorganized and sloppy and they blame the employees for their incompetence. No support or help. I quit after a few weeks and the manager/owner demanded I give a two weeks notice which is not required in Alberta if working less than 3 months. Sending me intimidating and unprofessional messages or not responding to my messages for weeks. But if you respond a day late then she throws a fit and sends you bullying messages.

The massage itself was actually quite lovely however I was quite upset with the length. I decided to treat myself to a 90 min massage instead of 60 mins (my first "90 min" massage ever) but i got nothing near that. My appointment was supposed to be at 3:00 but they had to change the sheets and get the room ready from the person who was just in there..totally fine (and appreciated). By the time i was shown to the room it was 3:18...still fine, I don't mind waiting...by the time the massage started it was 3:22...still OK, i just assumed they would add it on at the end as that is what has happened at other places I've been (ex. starts at 4:15 instead of 4:00...goes to 5:15). However, when this was was finished and she left the room and told me to get dressed, i look at the clock 4:33. My 90 min massage was 71 mins?? What am I supposed to do at this point? Run down the hall naked and say excuse me you totally ripped me off almost 20 mins? Got dressed, left feeling very disappointed. If the massage had lasted for the actual length of time I would have totally gone back but now when I decide to treat myself to the 90 mins again, I want to go somewhere where i'll actually get that.

Had a 60 min massage. It was ok nothing special. The room was noisy I think it must have been next to the staff room. The massage tables were flimsy, they may have been the portable ones. The massage itself was fine not the best but not the worst Ive had. I don't think for the money it was a very good deal $90.00 . I wont be going back.
